AMAZING SERVICE!!!! I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the honesty, integrity and communication of Isreal and his team. My daughter was traveling from Arizona to California and experienced an issue with her car. As a father my anxiety was though the roof. I found Romo’s Auto after a quick Google search and reach out to Isreal. They were booked solid, but understood my daughters predicament and immediately made time in their schedule to help us out. They were incredible to deal with on the phone and I could tell that my daughter was in good hands. Both my daughter and her friend let me know that the staff was so friendly and communicated exactly what was wrong and needed to be fixed. I am thankful for these honest and hard working individuals who went above and beyond to turn a horrible situation into a very positive experience.

Israel Romo is professional, honest, & goes above & beyond his work. He informed me that upon inspecting my vehicle before an alignment, he found that my vehicle had been in an accident & the parts used to repair the damage were illegally altered, & he recommended that I file a lawsuit against the dealership I bought my car from for not disclosing this to me. He already had the photos ready, & did not hesitate to write a claim for my lawyer. I really appreciate him for doing this, because he really didn’t have to, there was nothing in it for him. FINALLY an honest and fair mechanic I can rely on! Recommended by American Tire at Ramon & Gene Autry for an alignment, I’ve had my front brakes replaced, a 40mm lift kit installed, and most recently my environmental cabin fan replaced. I’ve had several oil changes done with all of the ‘extras’ included, but without the ‘extra’ costs. I told them point blank: I’m not going anywhere unless you do. I do not have confidence in the other mechanics/auto repair facilities I’ve been to. Oh, and if Isreal doesn’t feel comfortable doing a particular job, he has his uncle and cousin to step in. One way or another, they take care of me.

Israel is terrific! Referred by Americas Tires in Palm Springs to remove and replace tire lug bolts. For a Fortune 300 company such as Americas Tires to recommend Israel says a lot; trust. I dont go anywhere else.

I found Romo after searching for an alternative to the Chrysler dealership for repairs to my Jeep. Chrysler wanted to charge me more than $2k for repairs and Romo did it for half that! Even though the repair was complicated and took much longer than he anticipated, he still honored his original quote. So grateful to have saved so much money and gotten great work done so I wanted to ensure it was recognized as a good and honest mechanic is always hard to find.

The best place to fix your car

The WORST mechanic I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They do not honor their warranties. They badmouth other mechanics to avoid taking responsibility for their lack of integrity. They lost important parts to my car and refused to replace them. After working on my car for 6 hours, they gave me my car without replacing any of the fluids, and my car almost blew on the way home. I had to wait for 4 hours for a tow in 112 degree heat and they refused to pay for the tow caused by not replacing the fluids. This place is a NIGHTMARE.

HONEST- AFFORDABLE-SMART. I cant say enough good things about Romos! I broke down on my way through town and went to several shops in the area. Romos is the best hands down. Go here first for anything! They were able to diagnose some issues on my custom 4x4 and it saved me tons of $$$. They went way above and beyond. I owe them for getting me back on the road quickly and safely. If you need a good shop in the Palm Springs area go straight to Romos! You cant beat them! Thanks for everything guys!
