I told him my car may need a clutch and if he could inspect the transmission and everything to make sure what it does and does not need... and if it needs a clutch to order the clutch and install it... dropped my car off and eventually he called and said the car needs the shifter linkage so he ordered the parts and installed it. I eventually got my car back and the same problems were occuring and slowly getting worse... literally the only difference was the shifting felt more tight. And 1 week later the transmission completely stopped shifting into any gear... I then gave him a call to see whats up and he said oh yeah the transmission is bad. So yeah he ordered parts my car didnt need, and charged me about $550 for no reason! He knew the transmission was going bad but he still wanted to squeeze several hundred dollars out of me! So if you dont want to get ripped off take your car to a mechanic that doesnt rip people off. I have been ripped off by businesses in the past and yeah this is the last straw so I had to write this review.UPDATE: So I recently found out after I sold my car DIRT CHEAP because THIS MECHANIC NAMED ROBERTO GARCIA TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION WAS BAD that in fact my car did NOT HAVE A MAJOR TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AT ALL. I found out on a car forum that ALL IT NEEDED WAS A SHIFT SELECTOR THAT GOES ON TOP OF THE TRANSMISSION. THIS SO CALLED MECHANIC DID NOT KNOW THAT IT JUST NEEDED A SHIFT SELECTOR!!!! I TRUSTED HIM WHEN HE SAID THE TRANS WAS BAD SO I SOLD IT!!!! AS MENTIONED BEFORE HE REPLACED PARTS THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE CHANGED, THEN WHEN MY CAR BECAME COMPLETELY INOPERABLE I CALLED HIM AND HE JUST TOLD ME IN SPANISH oh yeah the transmission is bad. He did not offer to tow it back to his shop and fix it or anything like that. HE DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT AFTER HAVING IT IN HIS SHOP FOR 3 DAYS!!! DONT TRUST HIM LIKE I DID!!!! Find yourself an ASE certified mechanic that is well rounded in all aspects of automotive mechanical work. This guy has NO certification whatsoever.

Roberto is a good mechanic and a nice guy. He was refer to me by my mother.My whole family goes to Robertos because they know they can trust him to do the job right.
