Customer Service Declining:Ive used this location for 10 years over 5 vehicles. What used to be very good has slowly declined to unbearable. I am now going somewhere else. I use them for basic services, Tires, alignment, balance.Over the last 2 years: Ridiculous long waits in person (4hrs longer then suggested), had me in waiting room all day when I would have just left it there.Forgot to perform services I requested making me set another appointment.Broken TPMS on brand new rims.Just recently I let them pick the day to get tires and alignment on my vehicle, LET THEM CHOSE a week in advance, and when I got there, they said they couldnt get to it. Wasted hours of my time over the last few years. Sorry guys I know you could do better because you were better.
I have used Firestone for a long time and so have several members of my family. As of recent, the customer service has not been acceptable. A couple of weeks ago, I walked in to ask a few questions about my air conditioner quote. I waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes and nobody was there to help me. I left. It seemed the employees were in the garage chatting. I dropped my car off today to get the air conditioner fixed. I was told that it would take up to 7 hours. Another employee told me it would take much less time than that a couple of days ago. After 6 hours, I had no updates. So, I called and asked for updates. They said it would be done by end of day which is 6. That would be 9 hours. They said the parts were late. Curious why the parts were not there. I told them I had something planned at 6. The man said he would look into it, and he practically hung up on me. He did not call me back. Then, I called back and spoke to the manager. He said the 7 hours was just an estimate, but this is not what he said earlier. I told him I had an appointment at 6 and would be there at 5:30 to pick it up. He was silent then just said, “k” and got off the phone. I thought this was bad service. He should have apologized for the inconvenience but instead was short, silent, and made excuses. There have been times in the past where I waited for an oil change for 4 hours. When I picked up my car, the employees there were not told by the manager that I needed my car by 5:30 even though the manager said that he would let them know. They had no idea. I will never go back to Firestone. The customer service is not acceptable. My car was done after 6.
This long experience is worth the read before you drop off your car.Our car had a bend control arm, damaged bearing and a bent sub frame. The store couldnt locate the sub frame from a single supplier. Having access to parts, I asked if I could order it and bring it in. Ben, the store manager, was reluctant, but agreed since he couldnt source the part. He printed off the part number I needed to order and I verified with him and with Christine, the front end person, that it was the correct part number to order, which they said it was. I ordered the part, dropped it off and a day later they called and said it doesnt fit because it was the wrong part. This was 4 weeks into the repair.I did some investigating on my own only to find out, they printed off the wrong part number -- a part number for a different model car. I had to order the correct part, which took an additional 10 days. In the meantime, I had to do the legwork of returning the wrong part and paid $385 to ship the part back. At the time when I asked the store manager about paying for the return he said we will figure it out later. When the correct part came in, I called and Ben said it will be ready the next day. I called the next day before heading over to pick the car up only to be told they had to order some additional parts to finish things up and it would be ready in 1 additional day. I called another day later, only to be told that they wont have it ready for 5 more days because the parts they needed werent available. It blows my mind that they didnt look ahead and order the rest of the parts they needed during the first 6 weeks that my car sat on the rack. Finally, 7 weeks later, my car was ready.I called to pick it up and wanted to confirm that they would take responsibility for the $385 return cost. Ben, the store manager, said he thinks we should split the cost of the return. He never acknowledged or took responsibility for screwing up by printing off the wrong part number. He blamed me for not verifying the VIN, he blamed the part source for not doing so and he said he shouldnt pay for it because they dont allow outside parts to be brought in normally (even though he agreed to let that happen). We went back and forth and he cut me off saying the most he would pay was $250 of the return. So, I got stuck with 7 weeks of being without a car, the headache of a 2 hour drive to return the wrong part and an additional $135 of postage, and the interior of the car had a thick layer of shop dust throughout. The doors were obviously left open for long periods of time. On top of that, they had to jump the car to get it started, not telling me they did so, so when I stopped and shut off the car, it would not start and I had to find someone to jump it. Absolutely ridiculous that Firestone didnt take responsibility for their screw-up.They have a sign hanging in their lobby quoting their founder saying honesty/integrity is the most important aspect of their business -- their founder would be disappointed with how this customer was treated.
Went in to see if they could patch a small hole in our tire and experienced quite literally the rudest woman working there. At first, we were ignored when we walked in then the blonde girl came out to look at the tire and said “we can’t patch that” and just walked back inside. Probably top 10 rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I wasnt really expecting so many bad reviews. I moved to the area a year ago and already purchased a life alignment on my car from another Firestone so my experience with this one is just getting my tires switched from summer to winter. They are very respectful of my car and never give me any issues. I typically get it done on a Saturday and just expect my car to be there all day, no big deal to me how long it takes as long as its done that day. I was unable to do the oil change on my infiniti in my own home garage and booked an appointment the day before, they had it done within 2 hours. No issues, no hassling for more money.
Great staff took very good care of my care and was in and out quickly. Highly recommended for car needs check them out
We cannot begin to tell you how extremely satisfied we are with the level of customer service, commitment to excellence and willingness to go above an beyond that we experienced from the staff at Firestone this evening. We had a flat that needed urgent repair while driving with our 5 kids, called the Firestone store 15 minutes before their closing time. Not only did they welcome us in with only a few minutes to spare, but they stayed 45 minutes after helping us address the multiple nails in our tire. Mickee and James (the service manager) explained the situation and safety concerns, placed an order for a new tire and put on the spare with smiles on their faces and friendly dispositions despite us keeping them after hours.Thank you both for taking the time to deliver an outstanding experience for us and ensuring our family could drive away safely and with a game plan for tomorrow.Thank you!Elliot and Delijah
I had a flat on the freeway, and they were able to get me right in. They quoted me a price I thought was pretty high. They actually charged much less. The only reason I give them a 4 rating instead of a 5, my tire cover is missing. They said it wasnt on when I came in. But it was. Anyway, no one sells one wheel cover, so I get to buy an entire set.
Does Gary still work here? I wanted to pay tribute to him as when I was there for work on my Kia he took time to explain to me the various procedures they were going to take to replace specific hoses vs others, and I felt like my investment wasnt just procured by great work, done in the same day of my apointment, it was paid for in the education that came with it.
Terrible store. I have been back in 6 times for brakes that were installed months ago that still squeak every day. Multiple times I went back in I was charged for something else that would help, but my brakes still squeak. A couple of the times employees were in the garage socializing talking about their weekend while I waited at the counter to be helped. They changed / mixed up the lug nuts on 3 of my 4 wheels, I got a flat weeks later and could not change the flat tire because they changed the size.
I’ve been to multiple repair shops and several Firestones in my time. At other Firestones, more often than not, I’ve experienced between good and so-so service, generally charged not so cheap labor, and experienced ok project timeline adherence. This location and team however are off the charts, take the best characteristics and amplify. Could be that the older reviews are from problematic mechanics that have come and gone, not sure what went on in the past. The folks here now truly go above and beyond - I mean really above and beyond. Specifically, Ben and James were the points of contact for me. They were smooth on the timeline (even during one of the more severe blizzards in CO since ’03), they were nearly spot on with the original car diagnosis and quote, they were extremely communicative, and they bent over backwards to resolve sensor issues that arose after leaving the lot the first evening. Without going into too much detail, the entire team’s execution of customer service is unparalleled.Work with this team once to at least experience what being treated right is like. You’ll find it tough to be disappointed and most likely leave the lot with sound satisfaction and a smile on your face.
The staff seem like good dudes but theres a vibe of stress there. Aside from that and later, I discovered that they ordered the wrong part, after waiting for two hours. The car was pulled out of the bay but I wasnt notified, until I asked - after spotting my car in the lot. They tried to hurry and find the correct part, but the mark up and schedule changed on the deal. Hey, stuff happens but there are better options and better service out there.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I brought 4 wheels and tires in to have them mounted, a very straight forward and simple job. They had my wheels and tires for 3 days and never got to them because of “other appointments” they had. Which after reading the other reviews of this place “appointments” really don’t mean anything to them. Now, they tell me that the tires will get mounted first thing in the morning. Nope, I show up thinking I can just wait for them to get the job done and they tell me there are other “appointments” and that it was now going to be later in the afternoon before they can get to it. Now we are just in a revolving door of wasted time. I tell them to load up the wheels and tires and I’ll take them elsewhere. They happily did that for me. Catch is, they actually half way mounted one tire to a brand new wheel and scratched the Shi$ out of it.I ask to speak to the manager. He comes out and instead of having the “let’s fix this issue” attitude he comes out and begins to argue with me about how they never said they could get the job done in a timely manner and that it was “a job that they would do at the end of the day if they had nothing else to do”. Worst customer service around! Now I have a half done tire and scratched wheel. Guess the good side is they didn’t charge me for the time they spent on the one tire.Save yourself the time and hassle and take you car elsewhere. Unless you have plenty of time to waste and don’t already have enough hassle to deal with. Then this place can provide both on copious amounts.
Called ahead was told 45-90 minutes wait.came in and finally got a a manger to yell at the guys standing around goofing off to roll the car in to look at it.after standing around some more was given some story about no tool/kit to patch the tire and no tire in stock to replace it. then said they couldnt repair because of the extreme angle of the Scrap Metal. I think they did have a tire and just didnt want to break up a Set for a repair.I went next door to Discount Tire and they looked at it and then I noticed it was just a Screw in the main tread and they patched it in no time, sent text updates on the progress, and even reinstalled the spare underneath for free.
I asked for a complete inspection a month or two ago, they were lazy only doing a partial review not checking my brakes . Now I get to front the bill of new brake rotors, this should be considered criminal negligence. I want reimbursement for the inspection and rotors.
I would give them a 0 star review it was possible. I took my car here to get the AC looked at and get an oil change. They quoted me $1200 just in parts, which I was able to go get the same job done for $850 total. Now I’m having issues with the engine rods and another mechanic said I have no leaks, but looks like whoever did my last oil change, skimped on the oil and barely filled it up. Now my engine is having major issues thanks to this shop. BEWARE.
Went in on a Sunday morning with ok ut an appointment to check something on my daughters car. In and out, problem solved, in about 15 minutes. Thanks so much!
Quick service, excellent pricing.
Got me in early and were quick and efficient
Made an appointment in advance for an oil change and they still said it would be at least an hour and a half before they could squeeze me in.
Flawless customer service. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable all in on location. As well as the excellent customer services they provide, the quality of the repairs on my car has *always* been 10/10. Theyre also very quick on some of the smaller repairs/fix-ups you may need before heading out. Everything about Firestone oozes professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone with a vehicle.
Waiting and reception area clean and tidy. Staff reasonably polite. Oil change, tire rotation and a new headlight in just under 2hrs. Way to go guys!
After initially having some serious issues and struggles this past week, Firestone came through with really going out of their way to make it right. The manager worked with me directly, apologized for the issues, and worked to make it right by us. He even is offering to deliver an item for my car to my house once it comes it to stock this week. WhileI was initially very disappointed, seeing them and the manager work hard to make things right was outstanding and reassuring. If this is the kind of customer service they do provide, then I’d definitely recommend using them. For me, when a company or store or manager works to make things right, that speaks volumes.
Went in for oil change seemed like manager is just not right fit. Had to wait got bit of an attitude Ill just go to the other stores in town from now on.
Wish I could leave less than a star. Dropped off my car for an oil change w/ an appointment, waited 3 hrs and they didnt even look at it. They werent busy just careless. Ended up taking my car elsewhere.... In my late 30s and have never seen this lack of care. How are they still in business???
Went in just to get new brakes, directly after I got it back, my car suddenly had a wonky steering problem that it did not have before, which consisted of random pull in the steering. Brought it back to them ahnd they said it all seemed fine ahnd thaht maybe the breaks just need to get broken in.. Overall the attitude of the establishment felt unhelpful ahnd dead, ahnd I regret tusting them with my vehicle.
As long as Firestone is around, I will go here for FREE air in my tires.
Went in for oil change b/c dealership was booked and had an unplanned trip come up. Added on a tire rotation which they said was on sale for $10 which included their safety check and fluid top off. They rotated my tires in a criss-cross pattern!! I have directional tires on my AWD vehical and did not reset my pressure sensors! Didnt top off fluids! Tried to sell me battery I did not need! Makes me wonder if they even changed my oil!!!
Made an appointment for an alignment at 12:30. I was a few minutes early. I was just going to wait for it. I said I needed to have the torsion bars adjusted and the person behind the desk looked at me like a deer in headlights. Then he went to get another guy that worked in front and the same reaction. Then they went to get a tech from the back and he said they dont have time to do an alignment that also involved 2 torsion bolts that I would have to come back next week. I was already there I figured that I should have the alignment done. I waited an hour and a half and my car had not moved. As I waited in their showroom I was listening to the front desk guy slam down the phone in disgust at whatever customer called in. Then you could hear how fake the same guy was when it came to a big pricey repair ticket - you could tell the customer had just dropped off his car and told them to fix it, but for someone like myself that bought their 1 year warranty for their alignment I get the substandard treatment since I would not be giving them any more money. Then there was customer after customer complaint about the work that had been done. I asked how much longer and they said an hour and a half more. I left and came back.Picked up the car and had to go to lone tree. Got on the highway and the car pulled to the left more than when I drove it in. I called them and said I was bringing it right back in. They said ok. Then before I could get it back, I get a call from the front desk guy that said it was my torsion bars - when I brought it in this person didnt even know what I was talking about. I asked if they test drove my car. The guy did not know. He put me on hold to check. He said that they only drive cars at low speeds. Then he told me I would have to wait until Monday. So Monday comes around and I take the car back there. I drop it off. It took 20 minutes for someone to just take my keys. But again, Im not there to give them any more money so who cares.I get a call an hour after I drop the car off. Said it was ready. I asked if they test drove it. I was told of course.I show up to get the car. I was handed paperwork and sent on my way. No mention of anything, no explanation of anything at all, just here are your keys. I go to get in my car and the drivers floormat was all greasy. I just bought these mats, they were brand new. They dont even bother to lay a paper mat down? Then there were some notes from the person that did the alignment that you cant read. There was a big sign in the showroom saying how they do all these courtesy checks of fluids etc. There was not one mark of anything checked either time I brought my car in.I will never bring any vehicle back to this place.
My car was taken here with a window that wouldnt roll up, but the $400 repair quote was more than we could work with 5 days after Christmas, so we declined service. They offered to use some cardboard to hold it up temporarily. Seemed nice of them. What they did was use a screwdriver to pry the window out of the door frame, damaging the tint, and then hammer pieces of cardboard in between the glass and the dew wipes, damaging them as well. When we asked for them to replace the window tint, they of course claimed that the car didnt leave in that condition, they wont be held responsible for the damage. Glad we didnt let them actually work on the car, who knows what they would have destroyed.Update: I escalated this to Bridgestone/Firestone corporate, and when the manager of this location got wind of it, he started calling and harassing both myself and the person that was driving the car the day the window regulator broke, a real class act...Bridgestone/Firestone, however, was much easier to deal with, and agreed to cover the cost of the damages for the most part, so theyre OK.
Great experience here. The manager amp master tech saved me $150 on the wheel stud replacement of my 2002 Suburban. Original quote was over $300. They did it for $120!
Great service great prices. I brought my vehicle here multiple times with no issues great prices. It always comes down to the mechanics the staff the management they get it right here.
Not only great service, but they show military appreciation as well. Thank you, Firestone/Castle Rock! I will be back!
If I could give 0 stars i would....I had a terrible experience here. The first gentleman that worked with me (chad) he was very rude and didnt explain anything to me and just told me to pay the price or go elsewhere. I was not happy and went to another location and got treated way better. Will NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION EVER
Incompetent workers. Came to replace a tire with a large divot and bubble, came back to find my car with a new tire on the wrong side. How they did not notice the clearly damaged tire and why they replaced a perfectly good tire O would blame it on thoughtlessness and incompetence. Will never come here again.
Great customer service and just wow! I used to always take my Camry here and my parents always bring their vehicles here. I now have a Mazda but was going to be in the Denver area one day so I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation up there. Let’s just say I had a really bad experience at a Lakewood Firestone. That location did an oil change, tire rotation, and an “inspection” on my Mazda. BUT they did not check my brakes and said they did on my receipt and even wrote down “no brake symptoms.” I started hearing crunching/scraping noises after I got in my car at that location and then they refused to check them again. So, I was able to get an appointment in with the Castle Rock Firestone and they were more than happy to check everything for no charge and they got my car in the garage so quickly. One of the mechanics even took me to the garage and showed me the problem. It was the brakes of course... He walked me through what may have happened and explained what they were going to do to fix it. He even brought out the rear brake pads to show me them and the one on the passenger side was terrible... I cannot believe the Lakewood location did not see this! Anyways, they ended up replacing the rear brake pads and rotors for such a great price! I will make sure to just stick with this location for now on because they have the best staff and are understanding but they also involve you a little bit with the process. Thank you everyone!
Fast, friendly, and professional.
Ben was absolutely wonderful I will be recommending everyone to castle rock firestone
Brought in a Fleet Van for brake service and was greeted by James who took down all my info. Andrew then did a fantastic job contacting my fleet management company for approval (not the easiest task), and got right to work on my van to get me back on the road. This location has a very friendly staff. I strongly recommend them.
The entire team here is awesome! James understood my urgency and got me scheduled for repair quickly, he is absolutely amazing. Jason was very accommodating with my time frame and Mike got the repair done a lot quicker than expected. Scott was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. Lots of KUDOS to this team, I wont go anywhere else I am beyond happy!!!!THANK YOU!!!!
I made an appointment ahead of time for a basic oil change. I arrived on time, but the man behind the counter was busy talking shop with a customer. It was a long wait just to drop off. Then he asked when I wanted to pick it up... I guess it was only obvious to me that I made an appointment to have the oil change go as quickly as possible and would also not have a car to take me anywhere... So I said as soon as possible. he said it would take about an hour and a half, which I thought was strange considering I had made an appointment but I was prepared for some wait time. I had time to get my hair cut and arrived back two and a half hours later. I was a little concerned why no one had called me to tell me it was done yet but figured it would have to be. There was no one to greet me in the lobby. After another long wait, I had to open the door to the service area to ask to be helped. My cars oil change was not done after 2.5 hours. They had not moved it. Really not sure why they bother with appointments when they seem unable to honor them. I was super disappointed to waste my day on an oil change. They get two stars because the second man I dealt with was kind enough to make it up to me.
These guys are awesome, super knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Del and Daniel went out of their way to accommodate me. On top of the oil change that I had initially gone in for, they got me all set to pass emissions, reset my tire pressure AND reset my clock after the time change (which are BMW specific functions!) Thank you so much for all your help, guys. Highly recommended.
I was told that my tire would be repaired Monday morning after droping it off Saturday evening. I received a call Monday after saying I needed to purchase a new tire and the cut off for ordering was 12pm so my vehicle wouldnt be ready until Wednesday. Also the new tire was $340 installed. I picked up my vehicle Monday to get a second opinion and Discount quited $233 for the exact same tire but as it turned out the tire was repaired by Discount for free within 45 minutes of dropping my truck off. Ive had good luck and have been treated honestly by other Firestone locations but the one in Castle Rock I will no longer do business with. Pretty sorry all the way around.
IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO RESET A COMPUTER ON A VEHICLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHING PEOPLES CARS!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never be bringing my vehicle back to ANY firestone for ANY service because even when I called to let them know that they did not do the correct thing after I had already initially told them it was wrong to which they told me oh ya just drive around the light will turn off...... turns out thats not the case you have to reset the computer which to that they said wasnt true but it is and Im sorry that your crew is incompetent and cant figure that out..... dont worry tho Ill be having a professional work on my car from now on. Maybe firestone should invest in educating their employees on some vehicles instead of telling customers theyre wrong when they screw something up after charging them over 800 dollars for a service and essentially refuse to fix it thankfully Im smarter than your technicians and Im not as lazy as them either. Cheers
I had a nail in my tire and the gentleman got me in right away and they were great with my 3 year old
Jason and his team are amazing! They always have our vehicles taken care of efficiently. We completely trust them and will never go anywhere else for our auto needs. Thanks for being awesome!
I had booked an appointment several times in the last month and each time they didnt have time to get to my car. The first time they turned me away and told me they wouldnt have any time to get to it that day. The second time I dropped it off at 2:45pm and the guy had told me it may take a little longer to get to but should be done be at least 5pm. Imagine my surprise when I wasted my ENTIRE afternoon waiting for my car that didnt even get worked on. At 4:45pm they had still not even pulled it in. I then waited a week or so before I decided to give it one last try. I called on 11/12/19 and asked if there were any appointments available that day. The guy said no openings today but tomorrow afternoon is wide open. I scheduled an appointment 11/13/19 at 3pm. I got off work early so I dropped it off around 2:15pm and the guy told me they probably wouldnt pull it in until 3pm. I went to a local bar across the way and by 5pm I was surprised they hadnt called. So I called the store at 5pm and the guy told me they were putting oil in it and that the wiper blades needed to be put on and it should only be 30 mins. I walked up to the store at 5:30pm and no one was in the office. I saw my car on the ground. Around 6pm a guy finally came in and asked what car I was waiting on. I told him which car and he stated that they just needed to put the wiper blades on. I was shocked that when they finished my oil why they didnt put the wiper blades on and have me on my way. The guy told me that there was confusion on the wiper blades and thats why they hadnt done it! I did not leave that store until after 6pm when I had an appointment at 3pm. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. It took me over a month to get my car into this store to get my oil changed! AND I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT EACH TIME! WHY SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE NOT GONNA HONOR IT OR GET IT DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER!
Had my car for over a month before the work was finally done.
Traveling and tire light came on. Called on Sunday and they said they would help. They checked air pressure and said I had picked up a nail. They were busy but were able to get my tire repaired and I was back on the road in about an hour. Thank you !!!
Apparently appointments dont mean anything Ive been here two hours to get an oil change I could have gone bought all new tools and taught a monkey to do this in under two hours. And they just brought my car to the back to get done. So glad I had that appointment so I didnt waste all day waiting for this to get done. Because several other people have come and gone since I have been here. This is awesome
Honest guys. come here a lot and although i do a lot of the car work myself they recommend things that are right on point with keeping a car updated. i drive over 40,000 miles a year and maintenance is important, listening to places like this will save you money in the long run.
Went there today to get a radiator flush, and they did a really good job! Jason is amazing and the whole crew! James did an amazing job explaining how everything was going while they worked on the car and put me in the schedule last minutes notice. Ill be going back there!
Patrick got me in on a busy Sunday and fixed my brake problem from another garage. Avoided the need for a tow truck and did not charge for the missing bolt! This location did a wonderful job, I am changing my auto service to them and highly recommend them!
Made an appointment to have new tires put on and when I showed up they said the tires werent even available. Would have been nice to have been contacted before arriving at my appointment to know that I would need to reschedule.
Ive been going to Firestones for years, and the Castle Rock location is by-far my favorite! Being a female who isnt terribly knowledgeable on cars, Ive had some terrible experiences in the past going into other chain auto care shops by myself, but not this place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and let me know of any issues they come across without being condescending or pressuring. I really appreciate that.In my experience, service has been quick, efficient, and reasonably priced as well!
Great until Eddie the manager moved to a different location. Love to charge for inspections that take minutes to verify. Want you to come back multiple times for each step. No one has that much free time. Im taking my car to Eddie in Highlands Ranch!
Not trustworthy. If you know exactly what you need they do pretty good work. However, they will try to sell you anything and everything they can that you DONT need. Always get a second opinion if this Firestone tells you they recommend something or that your vehicle needs something.
I have been a customer of the Castle rock Firestone since it opened. I have always had good service. That is up until my last few visits. The first thing that happened was a few months ago. I had taken my car in for an oil change like I do. When the technician was done with everything, the front counter person told me that my tires were worn out and that I needed new ones ASAP. I didn’t think this could be possible as the tire weren’t that old. I told them no thank you and got a few high pressure tactics used on me and I left. I typically buy tires at another store. Immediately drove to the other place and was told my tires still had about half tread life left and that I didn’t need new tires.A few weeks later my sister had just moved to Caste Rock and was looking for a place to service her car. Since I had had fairly good luck with this Firestone I told her to go there. She made an appointment and went after he appointment she called me in disbelief. She had been charged $80+ for an oil change. I thought maybe they had done a synthetic oil change for her. Later I looked at her receipt and no it was just a standard oil change. They had also quoted her over $1500.00 worth of work that needed to be done ASAP or her car wouldn’t be safe. She later took it to another mechanic for a second opinion and all of the items she had been told she needed to have fixed were fine, and well within safety specs. So today I found myself in need of an oil change. Instead of trying to find somewhere new to get my oil changed, I went with the path of least resistance and went back to the Castle Rock Firestone. I made an appointment online for 12:00. I showed up about 10 minutes early and checked in. I was told the wait wouldn’t be long. I finally got my car at 1:35! That’s right 1 hour and 45 minutes later. Come to find out they didn’t have an oil filter for my car on hand and they had gone somewhere to get one. This delay caused me to miss an appointment that I had made 2 months ago, and now I get to wait again for it. The good news is that I was given a $10 discount, because apparently my time is worth about $5 an hour. There was no apology given, just here is your discount, get out.The most distressing thing about my hour and 45 minute wait was the lies I heard the technicians telling customers to get them to get work done on their cars. The girl working the front counter was very adept at spitting out complete untruths to get customers to get work done. You may ask yourself, well how does he know they were lies? Well I grew up in my Dad auto shop, and I worked as a mechanic for years. So I know a few things about cars. So just let me give you a small sampling of the things I heard, and I quote:“Your brake pads are really thin, and when they get thin they get really sharp and can cut your brake lines and then you are in big trouble”Really, that is news to me!“Your alternator belt is cracking and crumbling apart, if it breaks while you are driving it can cause all sorts of damage to your hoses, and alternator and could start a fire from an over voltage!”What!?!?!?“Your brake rotors are really warped, that is what causes the shaking when you apply the brakes. This shaking could cause the wheels to come off”And there were several more. It was actually shocking how easy the lies came.I felt like someone in management or an owner should know about these things going on. However the day I was there the manager and the owner were both there, so it made me think they must know it is going on.
Worst shop in history, don’t bother scheduling an appointment because they make more excuses as to why they can’t get you in on time and why they can’t fix your truck unless they can sell you unneeded over priced parts. They take twice as long to milk the clock on hourly rates, which are the highest in town to start with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE SCUM BAGS
We brought our GMC in for a maintenance oil change. A few weeks later, it started leaking oil. We brought it back and were told the oil filter was bad, so they replaced it. A few months later, the car started leaking oil again, so we brought it back again. They couldnt figure out what was going on, and told us we could wait and bring it back to see the master technician. We took it to the dealership instead, and it turned out the oil filter was bad...again...and Firestone wasnt able to figure that out, which I dont find believable. Anyways, we obviously wont ever bring our car to this location again. If they cant do the most basic maintenance item correctly, there is no way I would trust them to do anything else.
I first met Del at a Firestone store in Aurora and once I heard Del got promoted to a store manager at a brand new location in Castle Rock, I had to follow him! I trust his advice and he is always honest with me. I highly recommend seeing Del with any car needs! Good Luck with the new store Del
In my experiences these guys do a great job I have four cars and they service all of them I always make an appointment and seems to make things go easier
I went in with a flat tire that needed fixed immediately. They were very busy but worked me in and even waited late after closing time for me to get back to pick up my car. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who assisted me. It occurred 6/6/18, Wednesday. I appreciate the excellent customer service I received.
Cant call back to give the status of my car? Its been there for 10 hours just to fix a flat.
I bought a lifetime alignment here, they did a good job back when I first bought it. Brought the car back because I replaced the steering rack. They rudely refused to work on the car because the car has aftermarket shocks.
I always go here for my Oil Changes and the staff are great
Was quoted a price for mounting, balancing, disposal of old tires, and lifetime balance and rotate over the telephone. I made an appointment for the service and confirmed the services upon check in. I was told that lifetime rotate was not available as I did not purchase my tires from Firestone. This is bait and switch. I was very clear that I purchased my tires from another vendor and was quoted a price for the services I requested only to be told something different when I checked in.Tire Rack shows this Firestone offers Lifetime Balance and Rotation for $9.99 for each wheel. I would say that the Tire Rack listing isnt correct about this particular Firestone Complete Care Center.
I dropped my car off at 1:15pm for an oil change on Saturday 11/16. I was told my car would be done at 5:30pm the same day. It is now 12:45pm on MONDAY 11/18 and I still don’t have my car. At 8am this morning they told me it would be done between 10-12, but when they called me at 12:15 to try to sell me more services on my car which I refused — they aid they needed an extra 45 minutes to “wrap up” the oil change. This place is ridiculous and a waste of your time and money. Don’t go there.
This place was very clean and the only shop I know of open on Sunday the staff were very helpful and accommodating my car threw a rod and they let us sit with a year old till our ride came from out of town. They were one of the most professional places Ive been to in a while.
My Subaru had power steering problems. I told the service adviser that the alternator belt was probably loose or broken since I could hear a lot of noise and could smell something burning. He said it was probably the power steering pump. I protested a little. He insisted it was probably the pump and quoted something over $500.So I left and another shop found a broken belt.Firestone was nice enough, but they were unwilling to look for simply, inexpensive, solutions first. Maybe they are paid on commission. If you are listening Firestone management, you lose my business and (perhaps) everyone reading this when you assume more expensive solutions first.Edit: Marked down to one star. The alignment I got at Firestone left the steering wheel about 20% off center. Even worse, the camber was so far off that the rear tires wore to the steel belts after 10K miles. Two tires and about $275 down the drain.
Very good service. I had a transmission problem with my vehicle, which as it turns out it was still under warranty. They figured that out and informed me of that fact. They could have easily done the work and I would not have known. Very professional, saved me a lot of money.
Very helpful team and they do good work.
If you love bad customer service and bad attitudes this is the best place in Castle Rock for tires. They went out of thier way to project a bad attitude. This kind of bad service doesnt come without proper skills. Dont even bother to try and find worse service, you will be wasting your time, they have it mastered. In fact, go put a wheel lock on your rim and tell them you dont have the key if you want the special bad service package....
Made an appointment for an alignment. Was in and out in less than an hour.
Poor customer service. My complaints are too lengthy to boor you with. Just read the comments below. I have experienced ALL of it. Not only do they not own their mistakes, they dont even try to apologize. Im the sucker for even going back to complain. This place is a rip off that will do more harm than good to your vehicles. STAY AWAY!!!
My car had a plastic piece on the undercarriage which had detached on one side and was dragging on the ground. There was also a piece of wire that was hanging down. I took my car by and they tied the plastic piece back under the car and took care of the wire. When they checked me out, they charged me NOTHING! Not even the labor it took to do it which I would expect. As a business owner (Im an orthodontist), this is exactly the type of customer service we work to provide, and I love to see this. They are more focused on establishing a relationship and not simply making a few bucks. They just earned themselves many, many years of my trust. Thank you guys!
Price gouged my 80 year old father in law, charged him $300 to change front break pads. These companies make there living preying on the elderly. Front pads are $30 and only takes 1/2 hour at the most to install them. Hope they are satisfied they ripped off the elderly who collects social security. Dont let your family be a victim of this place, I will never do business at Firestone again, rather spend my money on locally owned and operated honest businesses.
This place charged me for diagnostics and then recommended a 1400 dollar repair. The other place I went to quickly determined the battery was going bad and replaced it fairly cheaply.
Great service and Tim is the best mechanic in Colorado! Hes fair and will advise you if you want to fix the easy stuff yourself. Thanks for the great service.
Unimpressed with the customer service all around. Angela had a general lack of communication regarding a coupon I was interested in using while seeming bored with life and making no eye contact on drop off. The simple oil change took nearly 2 hours and when I picked the car up Ben was also very abrupt and unenthusiastic. Then, while getting into my car I was met by another male employee (didnt catch his name) who couldnt wait the extra five seconds for me to get into my car before forcing himself into my personal space so he could get into another care waiting for serivce. Overall I would not recommend this place purley due to their lack of costumer service/ care or even a simple understanding of general politeness.
Had a loud noise coming from under the car, maybe muffler? They inspected the vehicle at a minor cost and found the noise to be related to a the muffler. They quickly tightened it and called me back letting me know I was all taken care of. Honest and up front with no further repair costs. Because of this...they have my business.
Wonderful expereience! These guys were aware that we were having a hard time paying for this experience, and both the Assistant and General Managers gave lots of time to make sure we didnt spend more than we could. Will always go back to see this location! :)
I was getting there to have oil changed and complete vehicle inspection, but I realized that they never do any inspection because even I can see they didnt find any problem I have aware. The worst thing is that I dont even know whether if they have ever changed the oil or not.Dont ever go to the place which will deceive people.
Slow as hell
Ive been here twice now. I had an $180 alignment that didnt even last four days on pavement and since they wont fix lifted vehicles, I wasnt giving them another $180 to do a bad alignment. Two days ago, my wife ended up there by accident for a tire rotation. Not only were they not able to complete the rotation, the proceeded to chide her and talk down to her because she was unaware that she had a slightly larger tire in the back. They didnt even offer to rotate them side to side! Then they had the gall to charge her $20 for the privilege of taking the tires off before realizing the sizes were wrong and then putting them back on without even rotating the two tires.Jason the manager was nice to me, but as it turns out, hes the one who was talking down to my wife. His words to me of apology are meaningless. They refunded her money, but I wont be back to a place that treats people, especially women, like this.
Unfortunately/ I have waited a long time to post this so that Firestone could make this right but no such luck. We brought our car in for tires and decided to get an oil change since we were there (Bad, bad idea). When I picked up the car and paid, the attendant said something was wrong with the transmission and it seemed to be slipping. There was no way as we take incredible care and just made sure the fluids were all full... when I went to leave it would not shift. Upon MY own inspection, there was no transmission fluid in the car. I told the tech, I asked if they had emptied it by mistake and he said no way and then put in some transmission fluid so I could go home. About a mile into it, all hell broke loose, every indicator light went on, the car began to smoke like crazy and all power was lost. I made it to the side and noticed oil coming from the tail pipe. I had the car towed to my regular mechanic (A Jedi of car care) and he discovered 11 quarts of oil in the engine and almost no transmission fluid. (Firestone mistakenly emptied the transmission and then poured oil in the crank case doubling the amount of oil, then did not check it...) Now... I contacted Firestones shop manager and he said we would get a call in a couple days... no call... I called back, he said it was in process... no call. This went on for over a month and a half... We have now had to get an attorney to get us reimbursed for the almost $1,500 in repairs (catalytic converter, cleanings, diagnositcs and all that crap) I will never and in no way use or recommend this shop for any repairs or maintenance... an expenisve lesson for me I will not repeat.
You should only bring your vehicle to this place if you want to get completely ripped off. They will literally lie to your face and tell your stuff isnt good enough and that you should buy their over priced stuff instead. They deliberately and knowingly prey on customers that do not know what they are doing in car repair. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY
Had a really poor experience at this location. Customer service was non existent. Made an appointment that fit into my work schedule and was on time. They took my car back for rotation and balance on tires I purchased there, but in the 90 minutes they had my car on the rack somehow didnt do the service. When I approached them to see if it was near completion they said, yes, their just finishing up. 10 minutes later they walked up to me with the keys and said sorry, we got jammed up and couldnt do your service and could I come back tomorrow. Nope....
Dont come here! This place blows. Very unprofessional. I ended up doing the work on my own car in there shop while the techs watched. The manager even brought me a pair of safety glasses, and the techs brought me there tools. I was still charged labor.
Today was busy... Had an appointment and it took longer than expected. Still good service.
Eddie, the Manager of Tire Sales went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend the Firestone in Castle Rock for your auto care requirements.
This is almost my own fault, as I should have read the MANY one star reviews and stayed away. This location has the slowest service, which is frustrating when you watch employees stand around and chat with each other. We also overpaid- they charged us $80 for a quoted service of $55 with no explanation of the price increase. We will not be coming back here, or frankly- any other firestone location.
Took my car in because I had a day time running light out. After 3 trips, they finely got it right. This took over 1 1/2 hours of my time for a lamp that was out. Next time it take it back to where I bought it, where I can get it fixed the first time.
Don’t treat long time customers the same. Been going to them since they opened, but lack of service has gone downhill over the last 2-3 years. Just went to Discount tires and the service reminded me of FS 4-5 years ago.
I brought my vehicle in on 12/18/16 to have an oil change done and to have my headlights replaced. Left my car for about 3 hours. I receive a phone call asking have I changed to wires to my headlights (no, I dont have the patience to change the bulbs why would I mess with wiring, same thing I told the tech when I dropped the car off). I get another call stating my car is ready and that they couldnt change out my headlights. I get ready to leave my house the next morning at 5am only to find that My headlights DONT work at all, meaning they didnt or couldnt connect my original lights back together or they broke the bulb. Very poor service, lack of information! WILL NEVER RETURN!
Always friendly service and advice. Dell is always welcoming and honest. Would highly recommend them.
Took my daughters car in for oil change and to have the car inspected before driving back to college. They didnt fill the washer fluid which doesnt sound bad except in the weather at the time, it is important as the roads were a mess. When I called to tell them all they said was, sorry. Ive gone to another service center in Castle Rock, and when they made a mistake, which does happen, they have always made it right. Be careful when taking a car here.
Bought new snow tires and had a bad CV boot, the mechanic didnt clean off any of the grease or oil so it started smelling pretty burning up on the exhaust. I took the car back in and they cleaned off everything and used degreaser. They responded to the situation very well and corrected it promptly.
Take all my cars there. Great work and great staff.
When I got to work a co-worker pointed out to me that I had a flat tire. I work an hour from home so I panicked a bit. I called Firestone and got very friendly service. They even went the extra mile and came to me to put on my spare. Granted, im right across the street at Home Depot, but I was greatful for thier generosity. I was in and out very quick. I was confident about the hour drive home because I knew they took care of me.
