Stephanie the aquatics director works with me twice a week to help me become a great swimmer, since losing my legs in Afghanistan. She is very encouraging, and is very knowledgeable in adaptive swimming techniques. I look forward to continuing to work with her. My confidence in the water continues to improve!

Coming here on vacation from a much larger city, I expected a smaller YMCA with less amenities. Boy was I wrong. This Y is great! Except for a pool, this new YMCA had all equipment, rooms and facilities of the ones in larger cities. Only this Y was cleaner and decorated even decorated. Im so glad I can work out here while on vacation! Definitely a 5 star Y in my opinion.

I used to love going here. My kids would go to the daycare, both my wife and I would work out. Since covid it’s changed. You still pay premium prices but get only half of what’s offered. Times are constricted. No open gym. The sauna is unavailable. I understand spreading the equipment out and I enjoy that part but it’s taken away several gym activities, particularly basketball. They must’ve had an increase in turnaround also as there are several employees I don’t recognize. Some not so hospitable. We have since not taken our children back to the daycare and I am the only person in the family with a membership. I’ve been a member for 4-5 years and not sure I’ll be one by the end of the year.

This particular YMCA is a great facility. Friendly, accommodating to the community, it feels like the place to be. I look forward to the new pool, and enjoy the old one as much as possible. Great place.

Great place for a family or just a single person to work out and get some exercise

Was in Casper for the High School State Track Meet and just needed a place to shower for two days. I called to see what their rates were to use the shower and the young lady who answered the phone was helpful. When I finally got to the facility to shower, the young lady was even more helpful and extremely friendly and inviting. She definitely made me feel welcome to this YMCA. The locker room, bathroom, and showers were old and dated but still in satisfactorily working condition. When I returned the next morning to shower again (Saturday morning), the young man at the desk informed me that they were closed except for the Scuba Training going on in the pool. Despite this, since I was only going to take a quick shower and not using the rest of the facility, he still let me come in to shower. This is by far the best YMCA that I have ever been to in regards to the staff employed. I have never met such friendly and helpful employees at a YMCA before. I highly recommend this location for a place to workout if you live in Casper. Thank you so much!

Awesome programs for a great price!

I registered my son for summer camp. Paid a month in advance..$425. day 1, my son was spit on, hit with a metal object, severe lack of supervision, kids were allowed to roam freely to equipment area, staff only checking on them occasionally. My 7 yr old said it was a free for all, no organized classes, just 2nd and 3rd graders doing whatever they wanted. Lunch, stale PBJ sandwiches, molded carrots, and hers the kicker...THEY GAVE MT SON MEDICATION WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. THEY DIDNT HAVE A RELEASE SIGNED FROM ME!!. NOPE NEVER AGAIN CONTACTING DFS IN THE MORNING! They advertise structure, skills etc..none of that provided. I do understand it was the first day, amanda informed me they went to the park, my son said the park was downstairs in the weight room..

Im honestly shocked, it was Christmas day at 2:17 in the morning and the front door was locked. I decided to break the windows to get inside and the owner had the audacity to put in a blaring alarm system, almost gave me hearing damage. would recommend ear plugs to anyone going in after 10pm.

I only had a brief opportunity to visit this facility but it is extraordinary. Very clean, very modern, and it is full of top of the line equipment. If I lived in Casper I would sign up here immediately.

Wonderful staff, great gymnasium, and affordable prices. The free weights are limited, but much better than some other gyms I’ve been to. Lots of treadmills and bikes and machines and it seems like there is always a class going on in the studio room. The music is far too loud in the locker rooms, and there is no sauna, but other than that, it’s a nice place to work out.It will be great if they can ever get the two buildings connected - I would use the pool and racquetball court more often if I didn’t have to drive to another building.For such a limited space, these folks do a GREAT job of providing a safe, clean place to work out, not to mention all they do to interact with the community. I’m thankful for our YMCA and look forward to the future of the Y here in Casper.

I am very disappointed in the Casper YMCA, Im not sure how they can make their summer hours so that they close at 4 on the weekends.... I pay good money to use the gym and its crazy that the day that 90 percent of people have off is the days they close. Its rediculous. I

This place has swimming pool. And it is big. Awesome place to get in shape and learn

Overall this is a great facility. My wife and I work out here a couple times a week and we enjoy going here. The Wifi isnt very strong in the weight room and my Verizon cell reception is very poor in there also, which means if I want to listen to Pandora it has to go in offline mode. They also tend to run out of cleaning towels in the weight room sometimes. But theyre very attentive if you bring it to their attention. These are minor annoyances though. Its a great facility with a friendly staff and great customer service overall and well definitely keep coming back.

Not the first time I come to the pool, I cant come in, because it is crowded. Why is there no time on the site when the pool is overloaded? This is very inconvenient because it is impossible to adjust the time. Make a one open line for ordinary floating.

I like this YMCA! Ive been doing activities here since I was a child and even met my husband here! Its a great place!

Been member for last six months great place great staff! New facility opens in January 2017 will be newest gym in town and better yet .
