Since 2012 Ive taken all of my animals here, from horses to tortoises to snakes to dogs. The prices may be a bit high compared with other places, but let me tell you... It. Is. Worth. It. These vets know what they are doing, are so thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly, handle and treat your baby with love, kindness, and respect. Dr. Holmes is our vet and he is absolutely amazing. He has a special connection with animals and it shows. If you are looking for a new vet, or even happened upon an emergency and are needing input on an emergency vet... Look no further than Casper Animal Medical Center. I cannot stress that enough. If you love your baby, this is where you will take them!

I brought my dog in to get checked out after injuring herself. The vet was very helpful and had solutions for my dogs existing condition that my old vet hadnt segested before. The cost was reasonable as well.

All staff is friendly and welcoming. Techs and Drs are kind and knowledgeable. My dog gets exceptional care.

My pup injured his tail. We weren’t sure how, but knew it was pretty bad. Our vet was closed. Our vets backup vet couldn’t get him in either, I asked them for a recommendation of where to take him and they suggested CAMC. They were able to get him in as a drop off right away. The staff was awesome with him and he felt comfortable there. It ended up being much more severe than we had originally thought and his tail had to be amputated. from the staff to the doctor, they all were amazing.

They are great! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They have always been flexible with seeing my pets right away, which is important to me. I have enjoyed bringing my animals here and I would definitely recommend.

Very prompt and responsive working us in! From the front desk to the tech to the doctor everyone was so kind, responsive and took time to answer all our questions and concerns. We have brought our dogs here for several years and I have nothing but good to say about all our visits!!

I had my long haired cat groomed by Tianna Hurley-she hadn’t been groomed in quite awhile. Tianna did a fabulous job-Sophie looks like a different cat. Thank you!!!

Dr. Mahnke and her team have cared for our animals for the last 11 years. Theyve always showed compassion and skill when dealing with everything from a broken toe on an iguana to a senior animal with health issues. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming, and make you feel relaxed. They clearly love what they do and it shows! We could not recommend this vet clinic more highly. Weve referred many friends and family to them as well. Theyve set the bar pretty high for the veterinarian at our new home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the care youve given our fur kids over the years!

I had an emergency situation, after working all night I came home to find out my iguana had an issue with her mouth swelling, she wouldn’t eat or drink, I called the vet they got her in right away, put her on anabiotic’s, cleaned her up, they did an amazing job.

They were so nice and friendly. Took time to answer all my questions and explained everything. Very happy with this vet.

Ive been taking my Labrador Retriever to Dr. Gail Mahnke, and Ive been nothing but pleased. Dr. Mahnke is focused, intelligent, and skilled. She always answers any questions I have, provides me with the paperwork I need, and takes great care of my best friend. The front office staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. Two visits ago, I briefly met their (I think) newest Vet, Dr. Kalisch, and he was friendly, helpful, and caring. I have every reason to expect that new patients will have experiences very similar to my own. CAMC strongly recommended.

I like to take my dogs here and my dogs are not afraid to go. My only problem is the cost of heart worm meds and tick meds it is so costly don’t think the average person can afford $400.00 for this, along with bloodwork and anything else that needs done. It cost more for my two dogs than it does for my husband and I for our yearly exam with bloodwork.

I’ve never had a negative experience at CAMC. Even at times of sadness, they’ve been very sympathetic and professional at the same time. They’re thorough in their care for my fur babies.

Friendly folks and nice facilities. On the expensive side. Don’t be surprised if they don’t answer the phone when you call. It usually takes me a few tries before they pick up.Rave - when our pup had problems with her stitches on the weekend, they had us send pictures and reassured us things were fine until Monday. That was a kindness that does not go unappreciated.

I took my rat here when she had a respiratory infection. They were very knowledgeable - they weighed her, did X-Rays before finally deciding to put her down, and they let me have as much time as I needed to say goodbye. Very respectful and educated.

We use them for all our vet needs, affordable and efficient. When we do board our dog across the lot at Sunrise, or have him at daycare, they will walk the dog over to get any updated medical vaccines, I dont need to come in and do all of that ahead of time. We live up on the Mt so its very convenient to get to them on Wyoming Blvd.

I love the fact that they are always there when they are needed. Staying late on a Saturday because I called & needed them to check out one of my pups. The willingness to help over the phone with simple questions. Working with you when you have an overactive dog that needs to keep a split on her leg, the vets went a little further and found something that worked instead of just telling me to do my best my best to keep the dog still & quite (not easy to do with a 5 month old German Shepherd). I started using Casper Animal Medical Center because it was close to where I live, but now I wouldnt trust my pets to anybody else.

I can not express how much I think of the Drs and staff at Casper Animal Medical Center. I have been taking my kids there for years. Everyone truly cares about all the animals, and they are all so nice and knowledgeable. If I have to leave my pets, I would not leave them anywhere else. I know that they will always receive the best care, whether it is a routine visit, being boarded or an emergency. I wont go anywhere else, and I am truly grateful for Dr. Bell, Heather, Sarah and all the other wonderful people there.

I have been using them for several years. Once with an urgent problem. Several reviews have said that this place is kind of pushy. I have never seen that. In fact the vets make some suggestions, inform me of prices and let me decide. My pet had a problem and the vet suggested trying something cheaper first and it worked. Staff was very friendly and I am perfectly satisfied with the treatment my pet recieved. The one urgent problem was resolved quickly. The diagnosis and treatment were precise and timely.

I have been looking for a vet for my animals for a long time and I have found this at Casper Animal Medical Center. From the receptionist to the vet every one is very professional and caring at the same time. I really feel that they care about my animals as much as I care about them. Our vet, Dr. Gail Manke is wonderful. She takes the time to explain things to us so that we understand clearly whats going on where our dogs are concerned. Being the pet parents we are, our dogs mean everything to us and we have all the confidence in the world with her as our vet.

As a warning most of the vets here are bunny huggers. And dont like hunting dogs. There are better vets that will work with you on payments. And are cheaper in price.You bring your animal in and they treat you like you are the abuser even if your pet got out and hit by a car etc.You will always be in the wrong with these people. Use caution with these vets. Only use as last resort.

This is a great place to take your animal. I take my pug there and we have awesome attention and responsiveness by staff. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait if you have a late afternoon appointment, but even still, not too bad.

I cant say enough about this clinic! They attended to me when I needed some emergency assistance with our dog and at that time wasnt even a current client there. They were very professional, loving, knowledgeable and showed me nothing but compassion. I would highly recommend this clinic and all their staff!Dayna

When comparing prices of other establishments, Casper Animal Medical Center was much more reasonable. They have always recommended the best for my little Shasta. They seem to be more personable and outwardly show their love and care for animals.

The staff at CAMC became an extension of our family when our dog Molly got older. They were caring and supportive. They gave us every available option to help her live her senior years to the fullest. She was never just a dog there- they loved her like we did, and treated her like she was their own family member.

The staff at Casper Animal Medical Center have treated our black lab with wonderful care! Dr Verink showed that he truly cared about our dog and I was very impressed by his clinical assessment of our pet. Natalie has also shown fabulous care of our dog and we could not be more pleased with our veterinary care. We would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants great care shown to their pets.

Courteous and kind. But did not seem as knowledgeable on Guinea Pigs as I had hoped.

We hadent been here with our dogs b/c we had heard about how expensive they were. We had gone here previously b/c they were the only vet in town that would see my hedgehog. They were good with my hedgehog but when I called to cancel my appointment for her to be put down bc she died in her sleep a few days before they must not have noted it b/c they called to ask why I missed my appointment, and I had to explain, again, that my hedgehog had passed away.But since we have a family member that works here now we thought we should give them a try with our dogs. The office staff was very nice, and so was the tech and doctor. They were good with my dog and were knowledgeable about what her problem was and what surgery would be needed to fix it. I had planed on having the surgery done here until I got the estimate. I was quoted almost $700 for a 15-20 minute surgery. Dont get me wrong I love my dog and I have no problem paying for her to have the procedure that she needs, but I found this to be quite an exorbitant amount of money. At this price I could drive 550 miles to our previous vet, have the procedure done and drive back for less than the estimate I was given.As I said, everyone was very nice, and if you can afford their extremely high prices by all means go to them, they are kind an knowledgeable. I however can not afford the inflated costs here and will be taking all 8 of my animals elsewhere from now on, despite the fact that a family member works here.

I brought our new little dog in to have him castrated. They ran a physical on the dog and determined he still had 3 baby teeth. After working on both ends the dog is in great health and having used this service for many years I am content with there service.Bill

Rushed my bird on an emergency, they charged me $164 for a basic care and told me he had an ear infection and he needed to take medication for 14 days and that he doing okay. He passed away a few hours after the visit.

I really like Casper Animal Medical Center because of the history that I have with them. Ive been taking my pets there for more than 15 years. They have a long term staff that know my pets when they come in and they do a great job taking care of them.

We had to take our bunny in for an emergency appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Holmes was very professional and took excellent care of our bunny.

Did not seem really caring for my dog. He was big and scared and they werent very gentle toward him. Not to mention that their checkout desk is RIGHT IN FRONT of an exam room. I was checking out with my dog, when another customer opened the door to the exam room, right behind us. I didnt see him, and my dog jumped right up to see him because he was holding his dog. Neither myself, nor the other owner were very happy. For just having completed a huge remodel, I cant believe they wouldnt have thought to keep checkout desk away from exam room exits. It could have been a much worse situation.

I started taking my dogs there when I had an emergency with my lil dog Betty on a Saturday. They got me right in, and took such great care of her.I then adopted a giant dog, and they dont mind when she runs off with a toy or two that are within her reach EVERY time we go there.Its hard to find people that really care.....and they do.

Nicole, the technician, told me a lot of great information about taking care of my new puppy and how to train it. She explained everything very well and answered all of my questions. I had never trained a puppy before at the time and all of the information really helped me out.

I hadnt been a client there, but when I called them on a Saturday around noon and expressed my concern for my cats symptoms they took me in right away! The vet was really nice and cared about the health and safety of my cat. She was very informative and explained what was wrong with Zero, my cat, very well. She took really good care of him and made sure that he was doing well and that he was recovered enough to go home. Due to my cats illness he was borded for the weekend and it was only $20 a day, which i think is a great price!Thank you Casper Animal Medical Center! You were very helpful and very nice to be around!

This Clinic has Vet techs do the work that Doctors should do and you pay Doctor prices. Many male practice issues, If you think your getting top quality serve you are foolish. Dont be fooled bye big buildings. Over priced and your animal gets under served. Gale is only about making money not helping your pet. There are many great Vets in Casper this is not one. If you care about your animal go else where.

I dont go to a person Dr. looking for the cheapest price like some. I dont go to the VET looking for the cheapest price like some. I have always been treated like a VIP I have always been given the best care. and my dogs have all been spayed or neutered there on the puppy package for a good price. I also had a surgery on my oldest dog who came out happy and felt great. they also were very caring and sent me a sorrow card signed by everyone when my shiba inu got hit and brought in. they are the best and most professional vet from the doctors to the ladies at the front desk.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This vet clinic only cares about the money they dont care about your pets, not compassionate or understanding whatsoever. My 4 month old American Staffordshire terrier Roxy recently broke her leg and they casted her, within 24 hours the cast slipped off her leg like it wasnt sized to conform her leg. They are not easy to work with. They want to charge me an extra $300 on top of the $450 I already have to pay them, they basically put the blame on me for her cast slipping off her leg. Just cant wrap my mind around how in the hell a cast just slips off a puppys leg within 24 hours with her being under supervision and doing what any normal dog would do like sitting, standing or laying down. Will never go to them ever again.

I was sent home with a folder of information on potty training, crate training, and brochures that have a lot of great information on dogs. I appreciated that they gave me all of that and it showed that they cared.

They really care about your animals here, they normally squeeze you in even when crazy busy. The ladies at the desk are amazing! Been with them for over 15 years.

They have amazing staff who are very helpful. I love how understanding they were with all three on my dogs.

They take good care of our pets

We recently moved to Casper from another state and were dealing with some health issues for our 12 year old dachshund. Dr. Fairbanks and the staff at CAMC have been so incredibly thorough and helpful taking care of Hannah! They recognize us when we come in the door and I can tell that the staff and doctors remember what we are dealing with every time we stop by. I wish I didnt HAVE to see them so much, but they have made this whole experience much easier. We get phone calls from the doctor to check on her progress. The communication has been really excellent. I would recommend them to anyone!

My wife and I have been looking for a very nice female cat that is young with a nice personality.Everyone is very helpful and you can see they love animals.The facility here is very organized, very clean and very well laid out.I hope my wife and I find our new fur daughter, and have a kitty in mind already.

Overall happy with the experience. Two things I really didnt like:1) The vet basically tried to guilt me and tell me that by not getting my Golden Retriever fixed, I was basically giving her cancer. Maisy is from hunting and show winning lineage and we fully intend to breed her responsibly, so I didnt appreciate the attempt to guilt trip me.2) They repeatedly tried to push their very expensive care plan on me. That got old fast. Its not a cost effective plan - it essentially locks you in to pay for what ifs while offering nothing in the event that your pet needs serious care - like if you were to give her cancer by not paying the vet for an expensive and unwanted surgery...If it werent for these two items Id have left a 5 star review and had a totally positive experience, so if these things dont bother you, then by all means CAMC is a great place to seek top quality care and service for your pet. If you have deep pockets and plan on fixing your pet, this place has a very friendly staff and a very nice facility.
