We travel with our dog children and seldom leave them anyplace but in order to do a float trip had to have a good place for the day. We checked with locals and Altitude came highly recommended. They did not disappoint. They were clean, friendly and reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had such a fantastic experience here. I was able to get same day boarding for a friend who needed help. I was able to board my friends dog who is diabetic and they took care of her as if she were their own. The workers were very helpful and kind and able to pick up the dog from home when it was an emergency. I highly recommend this place.

They go above and beyond on the care of all our dogs! Any concerns we have they address them very quickly and dont rush. If they need to be seen they are quick to get them in.They treat our dogs as if its one of theirs so makes me feel at ease bringing them in or having them stay for boarding. I hidely recommend them!

Our experience was wonderful. We were traveling from out of town when our dog became ill. We were able to get in to see the vet the same day. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful.

We’ve taken our pets to a few vets in town and this one is by far the best yet. Lovely people who genuinely care about animals and put the pet first. Sometimes this means being flexible and I really appreciate that about them.

This was my first time using Altitude Veterinary Hospital. I used to use another vet in town but after several issues it was time to find someone better. We were treated very well by the staff at Altitude, they were friendly and informative and took good care of my little cat. This was his first big visit to the vet and he was treated so well that I dont think he would mind going again even after he came away with two fewer testicles! Overall, I was impressed by the experience and will definitely be back for yearly vaccines and his other care needs.

When they brought my Akita puppy out to me, I ALMOST didnt believe she was the same pooch! She looks AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, FLUFFY! We will definitely use Altitudes grooming services again.

I had my two morkies go in for teeth cleaning, anal glands cleaning, shots, and nails trimmed. They were very nice, and did an amazing job on their teeth! My only complaint is the nails were very sharp, and I could see on both that they cut so short on a few paws that they had bled! But other than that I think they were all amazing, and really cared about my babies. Just work on the nail trimming to not be so sharp, and too short.

Great place. Unfortunately, we have had to let our two dogs go over the rainbow bridge in the last 8 months. Dr Bell and Dr Huber and staff were very compassionate during these times. Dr Schoonover was great treating Zelda’s seizures. We have two new kittens and Dr Huber and Lauren were great with them too!

I took my 3 year old poodle mix in to have her teeth cleaned. The staff was very kind to her and we’re also very helpful with me. They called before proceeding with changes to the cleaning and let me know what the additional cost would be. I then was told when I could pick her up. The only ding on this appointment was the cost. I realize it’s expensive to run a business like this but the cost was two hundred more than the same procedure done on another dog in Houston. That seems a bit much. Everything else was perfect.

Dr, Huber went above and beyond tonight, She delivered a prescription to my home, and took my concerns to heart.

My pet rat had a tumor growing fast under her front left arm. She is one year old and it grew fast in 4 months. She did well and had the smallest cone on her! The vet that took care of her knows a lot about rats. Now the girl has escaped from her cage as she has nothing in her way. Everything with my pets are back to normal!

What a wonderful group of people! they are kind and caring and really provide top-notch service. Our Chihuahua had a crushed toe and had to be amputated. They took Corona in and treated her as if she was theirs. The thing is Corona is not regularly one to take to strangers right away, But here she went straight away with them and did wonderfully. I would definitely recommend Altitude Veterinary to all my pet owner friends.

I love this office, they are all very friendly, I am able to get in quickly when needed, and they always follow up on how my animal (be it cat, dog, or ferret) is doing after a procedure (even when my cat had three vaccines at once they called to make sure she was feeling ok). I really like Dr Huber who takes all the time I need to explain the procedures and, unfortunately, the afflictions each of my animals has been diagnosed with. I highly recommend the office, it is usually competitively priced and they often offer deals to help with costs, for instance if you have your animals teeth assessed and they need a cleaning you can get something like $50 off for scheduling the cleaning within the month. Anyone who has had animals knows that the dental exams are most likely the most expensive vet bill you will face. As I said, I highly recommend the office.

Dr Schwahn went above and beyond in his care for my mini Aussie. He really took the time to explain and answer all questions we had. The staff is also super friendly. I was very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend taking your pets to this location.

I have never had a problem with this company. They are AHHA certified so you know that the price you pay is well worth it. They are quick to call back on the weekends, have fantastic doctors who actually care, and are usually okay with walk-ins or call-a-few-hours-ahead type calls. Though my babies are always scared to go in, they are always happy and healthy when I take them home.My mom said they she has had only one issue and that was when we went in to have our cat checked out and needed to put him to sleep. The tech that helped us made us do the paperwork first, leaving our boy to suffer even longer. He died before the needle even went in. If a pet needs to be euthanized and they are suffering, cant paperwork wait a few more minutes?

We were on a roadtrip with our 22 year old cat . He started having seizures and I knew the time had come for him to cross the 🌈 bridge.I called over 10 vets from Laramie, Riverton to Casper. I drove 3 hours to the this vet and I do it all again. This was only place that was willing to help my kitty transition home.Dr.Sarah was AMAZING. She explained everything with compassion and kindness. They even lite a candle to acknowledge that our pet had passed and asked for other patients to be respectful.I cannot THANK ALL the staff who turned this experience into pure harmony for my loved pet Shadow.You are ALL truly Angels of Mercy.

My dog had to have a surgery and stay 3 days here it cost me almost $2,000 then my dog brought home kennel cough and gave it to my other two dogs and they have offered us no help in resolving this besides spend more money with us. this has me very frustrated one employee went as far to say he could not have gotten it from them when the odds are very likey it came from there and they dont want to admit it I will not be taking my pets here anymore

I had such a good experience at Altitude! I adopted a dog from the humane society and they gave me really good information on how to help him transition better. They also gave me wonderful advice on how to help with his separation anxiety and he’s been doing so well ever since!

Outstanding care and professionalism! We do not usually take our pets here. But we had an emergency need and Altitude said they would take our pet right away. And it was just as they should have been closing for the day. The staff was still there well after hours, dealing with our dog in surgery. I was completely emotional, had a million questions-- and never felt a bit rushed by the staff. We arent even a regular client and they treated us like family! Altitude Veterinary Clinic and their people are top notch, & selfless class act. 👏

Dr.Grey and her staff are amazing. Every time I bring my boxers in, the staff loves on them and is excited to see them again. My dog is very nervous at vet clinics and he isnt good with other dogs. These guys came through with making him comfortable and understanding him. Their groomers did a fantastic job as well. They knew how to handle him and make him happy.I would recommend them to anyone with any animal.

My experience with Altitude has always been a good one. Currently, they are taking excellent care of my dog with heart issues. They may be a little more pricey than other vets in the area but my animals love going there, have great care, and its nearby for emergencies which offsets price for me most of the time.

I had a scare with my Russian tortoise and called to make an emergency appointment. They were able to take him in the very next morning (it was not an injury but a potential illness). Every member of the staff was courteous and caring. The estimate that I was given was reasonable and turned out to be accurate. I hope that my tortoise never needs medical care again, but if he does, I will take him to Altitude.

We always have a really positive experience here, even when there is something negative going on with our pets. I’m always surprised because even the new veterinarians and techs that they hire have the same warm, caring attitudes that we’ve come to know from this vet hospital. Kelsey was our vet tech and, (as always), she was wonderful with our dog. We saw Dr. Martin, and she was also amazing. All staff here are always super patient and loving with our animals. We appreciate this vet hospital so much!

I had to bring my dog into them with emergency after he was attacked by another dog. He had severe lacerations to one of his front legs and was bleeding very heavily. My animals are everything to me so I was completely hysterical and the staff was patient and kind. They got to work on him immediately. The staff was very knowledgeable and from the moment I walked in, were helpful, compassionate and sincere.

They were great. Were new cat owners and they helped us out with all of our questions along with taking care of our cat. We definitely recommend them!

Altitude took my significantly injured dog in immediately, examined, x-rays and diagnosis the same day I called. My regular vet couldnt see her that day and they would have to work her in throughout the next day. That was unacceptable so to Altitude we went. The staff was very kind and professional in their exam and evaluation. My pet requires surgery.I am transferring the care of my pets to this facility. They take the care of animals seriously. Highly recommend them.

We recently had to find a new groomer for our cairn terrier. Haylie does a wonderful job and we love how beautiful our sweet pup looks and feels!

Doctor Schwann is and always has been a fantastic doctor for our dogs!

We took both of our 100+ lb German Shepherds for a groom this weekend and they did an absolutely fantastic job, considering just how muddy and over-due for a bath they were. Not only did they make them look like super stars, but they were also very accommodating when it came to not being able to pick them up on time. They are pricy but I always say, you get what you pay for.

I couldnt be happier with my dogs treatment at Altitude. Our 14 year old dog suffered a flipped stomach on the night of January 1st, and Dr. Bell was able to perform life saving surgery. He came through surgery well and the follow-up care has been great. That night we were just customers of Altitude because our regular vet was unavailable, but due to the professional care, attention to detail, and aftercare, we will be bringing all of our dogs to Altitude.

I had multiple procedures to be done allowing me to drop off my dog for most of one day. By the time they were done all of the necessary procedures had been completed including a rabies vaccination, haircut and grooming, checked out a sprained ankle, and loaded a new bag of dog food for me while leaving. Everything clicked like clockwork thrus saving me a bunch of valuable time that day!

Very friendly and caring staff!!! I had called another office regarding my dogs eye, and they had told me to apply some visine for a few days. They said that if it didnt start to clear up, then I should bring him in. It didnt clear up and I called back to get an appt... were not taking new patients. They did, however, give me 2 options to call. When I called Altitude, they said that they take eyes very seriously and wanted to know what my schedule was for THAT DAY! He was in the office within 45 minutes... When we arrived, he was doted on by the staff. The assistant had even anticipated the Drs needs and had things prepared for when it was our turn! They worked with me on my budget, since it was the day BEFORE my payday. And when I just showed up, like a Nervous Nelly a couple days later thinking something was wrong with his other eye, they didnt turn me away and tell me that I needed an appt first. I just cannot thank Altitude enough for the help, and actual concern, for my fur baby!!!

I did not like having to drop my cat off at 730am & she did not have her procedure done until 4pm. She did not have enough recovery time before I had to pick her up. If you have afternoon procedures, maybe schedule later drop offs or only do procedures in the morning so the animals have enough recovery time

We needed to take our cat in on an emergency basis. They were so helpful and caring. I knew our kitty was in amazing hands.

I usually have a great experience with them so I dont know if they just had an off day because it wasnt great, we sat there for almost an hour waiting, even after they paged the Dr. So we left and I told them Ill reschedule.

Love our border collies to be groomed here. Great value and trimming helps the dogs hair to stay clean longer. Our dogs do not growl to go in.

Excellent doctors and staff, they were very helpful and caring in helping me when my little dog was attacked in the evening. It was very expensive and family had to help pay to sew up my little guy, I would have been devastated if they wouldnt have helped because I didnt have the funds. It would have been nice if I could have done automatic payments to my card but they insisted on payment at time of service.

This place will get you in the same day that you call about the problem most likely. Their prices are a little higher but you dont really have to pay the emergency cost. We have used All Creatures for years, but every time we call them it is a two week wait for an appointment, even if your pet is suffering severely. They want that emergency cost. This place doesnt really do that to you, but their prices are a little higher. My dog had completely gone blind overnight, I called All Creatures to make an appointment, and they told me two weeks. I called altitude and it was the same day.. this has happened 4 many situations as I have four animals. If I had to say something bad about them, the doctors are kind of sales people... I dont know if its just their policy to try and upsell you? But if you were in there for an emergency situation and they try to get you to pay $1,500 on your dogs teeth, while your dogs or cats life is in jeopardy is not cool! There is a place in Glen Rock that you can get your pets teeth cleaned for $200 an animal no matter what the shape or size and they even pull teeth at no cost. Dont get me wrong, I love this place because if I have to take my animal to the vet it usually is an emergency. The biggest problem I had with this place is that one of the doctors found a potentially cancerous cyst on my dog. We were going to have it removed during her eye surgery and the new doctor that took over, went into the wrong place on the dog and took something out that I have no idea what it is but she still has the same potentially cancerous cyst. They said that they would do another surgery for free, in the right spot this time, but my dog is at high risk already for going under. They could totally get it together and be the best vet in town!

Yesterday my boy Hoyt got neutered and Dr. Martin and her team did an amazing job with his neutering and his aftercare, after his surgery! They let me know how it went and gave me lots of info on the home care as well! I recommend Altitude Veterinary Hospital to anyone!! All of the staff are very welcoming and they do an amazing job taking care of any animal!! Thank you!! 💯❤

Needed a kitten looked at got me in rapidly. We discussed the fact I had multiple cats and needed birth control. The Vet helped understand how rapidly cats reproduce. Then assisted me with having some of them fixed. Surgery was scheduled and it was purrrrfect. The boys are back to their romping, tromping, selfs. Very, Very pleased. PRICES were great also.

I just moved to town and after some research, chose to take my dog to this office. She is a little over protective and would not let the vet approach me or herself. And they were fantastic. They did not rush her or force her. They practiced fear free techniques and eventually won her over. She enjoyed them so much she barely noticed the exam or her shots.

Best veterinarians & team in town, hands down! I have 2 frenchies that mean the world to me & are always running into health issues. They are all so good to my dogs & take excellent care of them in all scenarios! If you’re looking for kind, intelligent, compassionate people to take care of your pet(s), this is the place!

I had a pup that needed TPLO surgery. Dr. Schwann and the rest of his team did not hesitate to get us scheduled in a timely manner. I am so glad to have found a vet close to home! We saved some money not having to travel for the surgery and we also saved time because she was scheduled more promptly for the surgery than Colorado vets would get her in for a consultation. Dr. Schwann was also very informative about the surgery and took time to explain the procedure and all the care my fur baby was going to receive.

I can not say enough great things about this clinic! We recently switched to Dr. Bell and she is amazing! All of the staff are very friendly and you can tell they love the animals! Everyone is so patient and answers all our questions without making us feel we are putting them behind. Highly satisfied and highly recommend.

Altitude is always great with our dog and having the grooming on the premise, its convenient with the early drop off and our dog always has a smile when I pick her up from her day of pampering!! I cannot believe I am taking a rat to the vet! I have to get her teeth trimmed and they did not cut her tongue or any part of her mouth, like another vet clinic did, and she wasn’t sore to eat. My rat was extra happy and was running all over the place not long after the visit!

I have been going here for years and lately the service had been awful. No flexibility with cost no compassion horrific customer service, when asked for help I was told call us when you have money. They had no regard for how important or dog is she is family. When we needed them most they told us we cannot help you. Would not even suggest anything to help make or dog more comfortable. I hope no one experiences such rudeness and callousness about their family member. My last experience has made me decide to take my business elsewhere. Somewhere with compassion and heart because after this horrific experience I would never recommend them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The techs at Altitude have always taken great care of my 2 kits. Dr. Schoonover takes the appropriate amount of time to answer all my questions and goes above and beyond to care for my senior cat. I really appreciate the follow up phone calls after my appointments to check on how the cats are doing since being seen. I feel like everyone REALLY cares about everybodys pets.

This is my new vet clinic, I had to bring in my older cat for X-rays and a checkup and I was really worried about it because he doesnt travel well, and Dr. Martin and the techs that saw him were amazing. I felt the whole time that my cat was in good hands and that they were gentle with him, and his checkup was thorough and explained clearly to me. Ive been told these guys are a little more expensive than some places in town, but I felt like it was money well spent and the bill was explained to me in detail. Honestly, I dont think Id take my cat anywhere else, these guys were great and I strongly recommend them for high quality vet services!

Im am new to Casper and when I began looking for a veterinarian, there were several veterinary clinics in town to choose from.Having driven by the facility many times, I was impressed by the attention to presentation on the outside so I figured this impression carried on to the inside.I was Certainly impressed by the professional staff, comfortable waiting area and attention to the customers. Watching the way the staff interacted with the animals confirmed that I was in the right place.My appointment went smoothly with full attention to the health of my dog. No high pressure sales or unnecessary tests. Their fees were right in line with other clinics in the area.

I have always been fairly pleased with the services I have received from this business. Today I was less than impressed. I couldn’t ever talk to the same person when calling, communication was lost on care for my animal. Services I had asked for did not get done while my dog was in their care. Very upset about the fact that no one knew what was going on with my pet at anytime. I was on the phone several times trying to clear up what was going on there, what he was receiving as far as care and was put on hold for a significant amount of time. Very unprofessional.

My dog had an ear infection, called and got in that afternoon on a holiday weekend. Very professional, friendly. Will be taking both dogs there.

I had to take my dog in for some pretty scary things, and they cared for her wonderfully. she had also had her tail docked (she had happy tail for 2 years and it was never going to heal) elsewhere and they removed the sutures for us! they were compassionate and took it easy with my nervous dog. some meds, new food, and new treats and my girl is on the right track! thank you Dr. Martin and staff!

Altitude was and continues to be absolutely amazing!!! We called from the house and was literally at the clinic in less than 6 minutes, the staff met us at the door, rushed Bear into ICU and began treating him. Bear Bear is doing much better and we are managing his condition. Sarah and her team saved his life and they continue to care for him weekly when they administer IV fluids.
