I’m 67 have managed gyms in my younger years been in gyms all my life.The Cary location has no problems that I see. My main concern is cleanliness which this gym passed for me. The separation of the work out areas is perfect.Thomas the manager that signed me up was friendly and professional.

Cancelled my six year membership today because this gyms employees will not require its members to wear their mask during their workout. When I brought it to their attention that there was a city mandate requiring masks indoors, their manager told me that they were told by corporate not to police mask-wearing. He said Fitness Connection was a private company and didnt have to abide by the mandate. Really?! I then referenced their sign on the front door that says All members must wear masks upon entry. The manager responded with Yes, upon entry...get it! Ive now learned other NC locations have this same mindset. Fitness Connection- you are part of the problem instead of the solution. Shame on you!

Wake County and Garner has an indoor mask mandate in effect. Fitness Connection makes every attempt to enforce it. There were numerous people in the club when I went this week. All were masked. I talked to the General Manager who explained to me that they male every attempt to ensure that their members follow the mandates. I visited other gyms in and around the area who did not make that attempt.I prefer to conduct business at places that makes every attempt to follow our municipal mandates and to keep their members safe and healthy like Fitness Connection. In addition their equipment is well kept and the facility is cleanMy highest kudos to them. Five Stars. They earned it.

All are asked to wear masks and social distance. I particularly like the sauna and steam rooms, which are maintained well.

This is a decent gym but the management is horrible. It could honestly be a 4 or 5 star gym but the staff is terrible and extremely rude. Dont waste your money here! It might cost a bit more to go to another gym but it is worth it in my opinion.

The gym is well managed. It is always clean and you definitely feel safe being here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The manager, Thomas, goes the extra mile to make sure everything is right. Highly recommend!

Scam!! I called to cancel my gym membership 3 months ago and the guy said he cancelled it but he didnt! Looked on my account today for the first time in a while and they have been charging me still. I called again to cancel and they hung up!!! I will be there to talk to management because that is un acceptable! Im glad I left for another gym because Fitness connection are a bunch of thieves! DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HEREUPDATE: I canceled my membership more than 3 times and someone keeps saying we cant do it in person but online or call. Ive called, first time i called and said I wanted to cancel and they put me on hold for 30 minutes until I hung up. Mind you I work out there and the front office people do nothing but stay on their phones so I know they arent busy.. SO the second time I tried to cancel it but I was there working out but I called. They said they would cancel it and I believed them. Checked my statements and you guys BILLED me 3 more times. I went the front the front office and they said they could only cancel it on their website. I left mad and now Im messaging you hoping you guys fix this.SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY!

Worst gym in triangle, dont come here. They continually harass you while doing cardio if your nose is even slightly exposed, even when no one is within 20 feet of you. The CDC and NC governor orders does NOT recommend wearing a mask during strenuous exercise. In addition, I have a medical condition and have been vaccinated. It makes no sense to come over, lower your mask, be within 6 feet of me and then tell me to wear a mask.

Thomas, the manager, runs a tight ship for this gym location! Welcoming for all fitness levels, clean, and a good variety of equipment to use makes this bargain monthly price an excellent choice for any fitness goals.

Fantastic gym. Its one of the few in the area that provides a sufficient amount of machines, cardio equipment, and free weights. Under normal circumstances the classes offered are also very engaging and well structured. Would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone who is ready to get serious about their fitness goals.

Great Gym Clean and workout ready..

I waited on hold for 1.5 hours to cancel my account for the second time. I canceled my account at the beginning of March 2020 over the phone. When cancelling for the second time they said since I didnt have proof of cancellation there was nothing they could do as far as a refund. I never received confirmation and I havent stepped foot in the gym since the end of January when covid-19 became a pandemic. All of this to say, their forgiveness policy during a pandemic and hardship could be far better.

Had a great experience getting a tour and joining the gym. Chris was very thorough and answered every question I had about the membership. I highly recommend this gym and especially Chris!

Been going here for several years. They have all the equipment you need. It’s no lifetime but it’s much better than 99% of cheap gyms in the area.Update 12/5/20. I canceled my membership and moved over to O2 fitness due to proximity and the Gm continued to charge me for club dues. Is not responsive to emails asking for refund.

This place is the definition of a scam. I worked there for over a year and the whole time I saw so many scams that they did to people, things like telling a new potential member that it was $0 enrollment and then really just post dating it so that they wouldnt get charged for another year. They also put in random peoples credit card info from a generator into fake member accounts to get more money, and they would change your credit card expiration date if you owed them money until it would let them charge you. They also made it extremely difficult to find the cancel page on their website and wouldnt let us do cancellations at the club. All they care about is money here, please go somewhere else, it may seem cheap but with all their scams it costs you more in the long run. Oh and @fitnessconnection, no response to this post is necessary

This gym is awesome!!! I love all the amenities and the friendly staff. I highly recommend this gym. Shout out to Will C. and Robb for making my time at the gym more pleasurable. Will C. helps you incredibly any time you have a question or concern. And Robb is an excellent Body Combat teacher.

I have been a Fitness Connection Cary member for over 5 years. I just cancelled my membership due to a financial dispute with them. Note how many reviews cite their financial practices as an issue. In this matter, the customer is NEVER right. If you join, watch your wallet. They did not process a freeze on my personal training properly. This was submitted within their time limits which they adhere to absolutely. This cost me $520 which I have tried through every channel to get refunded. They have simply refused. This was an error on their staffs part but they refuse to take responsibility. It is an inexpensive gym with adequate equipment but, it is not inexpensive in the long run if you are overcharged and told, too bad for you. You will note this issue repeatedly described in the reviews. I might add, that over these years, cleanliness has always been an issue. They have even acknowledged that and changed cleaning services and cleaning staff over the years but it has not improved. Ventilation has also been an issue. During this period of Covid, one might also give that consideration and find a gym that might be more meticulous in its cleaning. Most importantly, it is their non professional poor customer service that you should avoid.

Still a great place to go exercise.

This was a fine gym to go but I cancelled my membership back in March at the onset of covid. I can’t find the confirmation email and when gyms reopened in the state I started getting billed again but couldn’t login to my account. I had to pay for three months worth of membership in October, November, and December. I’m really annoyed they couldn’t take off these charges after having been a loyal member for several years during an economic crisis.

Havent been here in a while, its a little out dated. Not as spacious as North Hills or as many machines. There is a breakfast place and a grocery place walking distance, like less than a minute away. Which are very big for me

Been going here for about three months. Very clean. Lots of well kept equipment. If it was open 24 hrs it would be incredible! Still, the hours are solid for what I do. Would definitely recommend

The gym isnt bad. I did the 7 day free trial right before the pandemic started so I didnt end up joining, but during the whole 7 day trial I probably received in excess of 20 calls, texts, and emails combined. Its now 9 months later and I still occasionally get called, emailed, and texted. Ive asked more than a dozen times for them to stop calling and texting, and pretty sure Ive unsubscribed more than twice but still get emails. Ive blocked 3 different numbers. This place is like the crazy girl/guy that stalks you after you went out on 1 date.

Connor is a great trainer (Meghan too!) he always pushes me to do better while not being over the top. Only downside is with the Aldi now parking can be tough sometimes. I also am so impressed with some of the people who work out here sometimes I think theyre ninjas

Not too sure why so many negative reviews. Better and more equipment than any other discount gym membership. Just about any type of workout you want to do can be accomplished here. The staff is fairly friendly, you know gyms want to sell you stuff. Don’t act indignant when they do their job.

The staff are friendly and a pleasure to deal with. However, the club is small and often crowded. And they make it near impossible to cancel your membership. Ive moved and have been trying to cancel my membership for several months. Ive been on hold several times before the call drops.

The recent construction has made Fitness Connection look like a whole new gym! They brought in new machines and equipment, the child care area looks amazing and they have a cool new turf room! From private training to classes to free weights everyone can find something they will like. There is even a movie room with cardio machines so you can relax and enjoy your favorite flick while getting your sweat on!

Overall a pretty decent workout facility.Childcare staff has improved over the last few months. (Still not as clean in my opinion as it could be)Cycling class with Lisa is outstanding.For $10/month it is good enough I’d say

A tremendous new asset, to the gym, has been Will,The new sales manager. He is extremely courteous, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. This so called gym is charging for services even though the members did NOT agree to come back after their re-opening this fall. DO NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH DEBIT CARDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ! I talked to Will in sales and he had a snarky attitude about the whole thing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !

I have come on and off for a few years, and I love the new employees! Solid front desk staff now, especially when it comes to friendliness. I have observed Marlee showing definite leadership skills in helping other employees learn up front. I find this commendable for any work environment. Plus she has a superb laugh!

The classes have been GREAT. Body flow, body pump, and body combat are fantastic. The instructor Robb and Erin, are wonderful. Management however needs to be reconsidered. My first encounter was through my sister in law when she asked about changing her membership. She was asked why did she sign up for a plan that included tanning if she wasnt going to use it. Im sorry but that is not something you say to your customers. Its not their business. The second encounter was about a 7 day pass I received on a card. It was not mentioned to me that it needed to be used consecutively nor was it stated on the card. I was told if I didnt want to pay the 99 dollar enrollment fee, there was not another option for me. Then I was told I needed to pay a day use pass. No. Both of these encounters involved Noah. Someone need to pull him aside and teach him how to talk to would be clientele.

The gym is decent enough but they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. Scroll down and look at the bad reviews, they are all about cleanliness and how hard it is to cancel. It absolutely comes off like a scam. I was also told by the a member of the front desk staff that the charges would not keep accruing after my card expired and they obviously did. Then I was told you can cancel over the phone, which is also incorrect. I recommend going literally anywhere else.

I used to be a regular at the locations in Greenville, Raleigh, and Cary. The gyms are fine, although, when I moved and needed to switch gyms, they made it almost impossible for me to get away. After filling out and submitting a form to end my membership, I unknowingly was charged for another 6-months. After telling management about the mistake they refused to refund me and continued to charge me monthly until I payed the accrued balance. They showed no sympathy to the incident and I have talked to numerous others who all experienced the same issues. I would never recommend this gym to a friend nor a complete stranger.

The instructors are great, but whoever decided to paint a cycling studio BRIGHT yellow probably doesnt cycle... Like you need to be able to get into your zone and its hard to do that when you feel like youre in the sun.

I have been at the Cary location for about 5 weeks and I have nothing but great things to say about the Staff, equipment and cleanliness of this gym.I enrolled with Rose and she has been great with any questions or concerns I may ever have, there is always a class available to take if my wife and I are interested. And the most important thing is there is child care services available !

Good staff. Trainer Will is fantastic! He understands your goals and designs a fitness plan to match. Meal Plan and help with meal prep is a BONUS!

Ive been a member of this gym for a little over 2 months and so far the experience has been a positive one. the members are pleasant, serious about their training and the gym has pretty much all you need to train. It could use some upgrades and some added equipment, but overall, not bad for the price. Customer service has been very good. Especially Katie Christian!She always welcomes members with a smile, answers questions and concerns promptly and professionally, and always has a great attitude. Katie definitely adds an element of joy to my trips to the gym.There is also another gentleman named Chris that works the front desk who helped me the other day with his jumper cables and was super helpful and patient. Great guy! Also very pleasant and positive!

Ive been going to this gym for a couple of months now and its a good gym. The class instructors are great and the classes usually arent packed and people are front are friendly. I like that they offer alot of Les Mills classes. Also have met a lot of long time members there that like the gym. I signed up for cheapest package of $10/month and have been happy so far.

This gym is convenient for me. I also brought my membership down in price ($29.95 down to $19.95), so I am happy about that. The machines and equipment are slowly being maintained/upgraded. The place is not the best (miss Lifestyle Fitness), but it is decent and in a good location.The free weight room is still always crowded during peak hours after work due to its small size (same with parking), so I recommend after 7pm on weekdays. And beware the billing dept. in Texas. They really arent on top of things. I cancelled once, but they ignored that. Then I changed my mind due to the convenience of the location. Just dont lose your debit card for payment even if you pay with a Credit Card a day late or you will be charged a late fee due to their policy.The Gym business can be shady.

My experience with Nora, as my personal trainer, has been top notch. She really pays attention to my needs and concerns. She watches me as I go through reps to make sure my form and weight are correct. She is friendly and honest and, most importantly, ALWAYS responds to texts. It is great to be able to make contact when you need to ask a question, change your schedule, etc. I would give her 10 stars if I could!

After going back and forth from July to now about my cancellation of my personal training.My trainer left and I haven’t found a good match again so I’m owed 24 sessions but I owe one more month. The manager Noah says I have to pay it. The training sessions that I don’t want anymore that I paid for will go to waste they don’t refund any money at all. Somehow this doesn’t sound right but it is what it is.Read your contracts before signing them!!

I love this place!!! I have nothing but great things to say, clean, affordable, friendly staff, great equipment, amazing classes, and most important for me exceptional child care. My two little girls love going to the Kids Club when I go to the gym. The staff in the kids area are so caring and really take amazing care of the children that come in to play. I looked at other gyms with child care and this place is the best.

Bang for buck a great place to be a member of. No pushy trainers hunting for clients, has a daycare room, pretty clean, lots of older crowd looking for a bit of exercise and not so much the bodybuilders or real housewives of cary crowd thats at the big gym down the road.

I love this gym. Im there all the time, so Im not sure how they make any money off me because the monthly fee is so low. I mainly go for the classes, which are awesome. They offer so many great Les Mills classes at a wide variety of different times, and the instructors are all total pros at what they do. The front desk people are also all extremely nice and helpful. I wouldnt hesitate at all to recommend this gym to anyone.

Couldnt ask for a more friendly staff in Cary! It actually looks like they like their job! The gym is great and easy to make friends. A big bonus for me is that I travel for the Military and they have no contracts! Easy to cancel and easy to get started up!! You would think for a $9.95/$19.95 membership that they wouldnt have much to offer, but think again. Free weights, towels, showers, and the movie theater is pretty dope too!! The Sales girl, Megan is great too ( and cute)! She always has a smile on her face and very helpful. Been to a lot of gyms in my time and career and this is one of my favorites.

The place is great and the price is right for a gym. I just had a bad experience with the personal training side it is a big scam I was told a different story about payment by Megan Pfau and my bank account was screwed up because of her. I tried calling her numerous times and I have not heard from her. So I canceled my membership on Wednesday after signing Up on Monday the same week that all this happened I paid the $99.00 up front for the 8wk promotion they we’re having and the 390.00 that I was told that was going to come out on the 15th. I know I will not get the money back after sign up 3days. I’m just very upset with the people that work on the personal training side just be careful when you sign up with them think before you commit to with them.

Left the Y and began here July 18. Can get crowded, but Ive never waited more than one minute for a machine (gotta be flexible and switch it up anyway). I lift only 3 Xs/wk. and the machines are well maintained. The staff (and really everyone there) is friendly. But its the guys in the free-weight area that could be intimidating but are actually all very courteous and helpful. My college-aged daughter had to put her membership on hold b/c she went back to college and it was a breeze. The locker rooms are large and clean and the showers are exceptionally roomy with great hot water. Very happy w/this place. Keep up the great work!

Its a nice facility however the free weight room gets way too crowded. I am looking at joining another gym specifically for this reason.Note to management: its great that business is good however youve reached critical mass and need to rethink how the gym is set up.Heres a thought - Why not swap the turf room with the free weight room? Sure youd spend some money making the switch, but why dedicate prime real estate to anything but the heaviest traffic area?

Pretty good gym...especially for the price! I LOVE the classes. They have some great instructors over there and enough classes to keep me interested. I also love the kids play area and my 4 year old does too!

I usually dont leave reviews, but I moved to the Cary area and started working out at the Cary location and Ive been extremely disappointed in several occasions where Kennedy (Opening Mgr or Employee) was late on several occasions, but his most extreme tardiness was last week or so where he was forty minutes late, and as he strolled up to the gym, there was like 15 people waiting and he didnt speak, no apology, just a blank stare and continued his opening duties. Im hoping the management will hire people who are consistent and authentic with their responsibilities.

SCAM - Avoid at all costs. My credit card expired (I thought my membership had been canceled), I received no notification until I received a bill in the mail 5 months later. When asked why this was the customer service agents response was we arent legally required to tell you. They tacked on late fees on top of the membership balance, which they eventually waived.I paid the bill in full and then received another call a week later asking me to pay more. This was after I explicitly asked and was told that both my account and my wifes account were at zero balance. This was the result of sloppy data entry and a mis-spelling of my wifes name. This balance ended up being passed to collections, ultimately this was resolved before it affected my credit. But not before they add another $50 in fees of course.Shady business! More time should be spent trying to attract customers through a good product and honest interactions. Instead they provide an overcrowded environment (weight room is unusable at peak hours) and work to make money using the methods list above.

BE VERY CAREFUL SIGNING A MEMBERSHIP HERE!!! THERE WAS A FAKE CREDIT CARD # on my daughters agreement after she refused to give them any form of payment since she was not interested in a membership. My daughter was visiting out of state and was deceived into signing a VIP membership package when the salesperson told her it was just to hold the price. She refused to give the salesperson a credit card since she told him she didnt live in this state and wouldnt be joining. She received her first invoice 3 months later with a FAKE CREDIT CARD NUMBER ON IT. Phone calls from the corporate office were not returned and the billing office (talked with 3 supervisors) was not concerned about the fake credit card #. They said if the invoice wasnt paid, it would continue accruing fees and would go into collections.They also charge you an extra month when you cancel your membership. Gym is not the cleanest, often smells bad and is packed mornings and evenings. Lots of members slam weights down. Group classes are good and advanced for the most part. Very disappointed with customer service and the ethics of this company. According to other reviews, this seems to be a pattern that doesnt get resolved.

Ive been a member at this gym for a few months and only have positive things to say about it. And Im a picky person so thats saying something. Its clean. Friendly staff. A turf room (definitely a huge plus!). A lot of equipment. I signed up for my membership with Noah and he was really nice and gave me a great deal. I also had a fitness consultation with Nick. He was super nice and actually got me pumped to start working out (and let me tell you, Im not easily persuaded to work out!). I felt like he wasnt rushing me through the consultation to just get me to sign. We talked about my health goals and went through a workout. Now Im training with Tasha. i feel like a lot of the bad reviews here are bs. They know what they are doing here. you cant blame people when you sign a contract that you did not bother reading. Anyway, check them out! Definitely worth your time.

DONT YOUR TIME! They only care about you if you are high class, NO MIDDLE CLASS ALLOWED! Money talk they don’t care about the broke people trying to change their lives ! I am pissed off ! I was charged $20 dollars for a late fee !!!! Really $20 for a late lee that was not even a whole 5 days late. I’m expecting like $5 dollars or so not $20 not acceptable at all. The customer service is horrible ! I have to write a 30 day notice just to cancel MY membership is silly as hell. I will not recommend anyone to join this gym. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Fitness Connection of Cary. The classes are high energy and fun, and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. Anytime I had any questions, Michael was always quick to help me out. He handles things in the most professional manor, and always had something encouraging to say when I was struggling with working out. I am so sad to leave this gym because of relocating, but I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I was a member of the Raleigh location (loved it) and canceled my membership in November because of a sever asthma attack that left me in the hospital for a week and unable to work out for months. I reactivated my membership at the Cary location in April and it was just fine in the beginning.With a new membership you get a free workout with a trainer, and then they try to sell you this personal trainer for a year. Ive been between jobs and I cannot justify $200 a month in gym fees while Im trying to get back on my feet. I explained this to Jason who understood but then got his boss to try to see if they could do anything to help me.Mike was terrible. He raised his voice at me and tried to guilt trip me into buying their personal training sessions. He told me that Ive gained too much weight in the months since my asthma attack and I could not lose the weight and keep it off without their help. He told me that my boyfriend is lazy because he decides to work out at home. He said I have no reason not to buy their program and to stop making excuses. He put me on the spot telling me to call my boyfriend to ask if its okay that I buy their ridiculous program saying I should do it anyways and tell him to be supportive (anyone in a long-term relationship knows this is not how a relationship works). He then continued to tell me that they would process my card for a down payment anyways and I could cancel if I wanted. All while saying what we will do, never asking permission. He laughed at my financial situation and told me to stop pitying myself about a job that this is more important.Mike put me on the spot and harassed me and berated me until finally I lied and said I would come back with my final answer just to get out of there. I canceled my membership with Fitness Connection that same day, all because of him. I love going to the gym I loved the Raleigh location but with my work schedule it was not realistic to go out of my way to go there. I would feel uncomfortable going back and seeing this guy and hoping he wont say anything to me.I contacted customer service by phone and email, fully detailing what happened with no response at all. The customer service is terrible and I understand these are salesmen but that is not at all how you go about business and sales; offending customers, their illnesses, and their family members.Their facility is generally pretty clean and Ive never had any problems with the machines. Just keep in mind the customer service is terrible and all they care about is their money. When I cancelled my membership in November I needed a doctors note to cancel and was still charged for two months after my cancelation. Just beware, I am looking for a new gym and Id just steer clear to stay away from any headaches and offensive general managers.

It’s Weird to me, how there could be any bad reviews on here. I’ve had an amazing experience joining this gym and getting to meet there great staff. From the front desk Laurenza, Hannah, Martin, and Chris to the assistant manager Will Casseus and Megan to his side. Will is a long story himself, but to summarize it. He walked me through the whole fitness life style from Calisthenics, Weight lifting, to cross fit, and dealt with my questions for a whole 2 months every day. Hahaha he also convinced seven of my friends to join the gym as well; which made me very happy For my friends to experience what I was. Will would go over each equipment in points of how to use it in the correct form and for which days to use it on. The gym it’s self is very big from the inside, although it might not look like it. It is not very crowded, and the people are very friendly to the point that I was telling myself sitting on my couch watching Netflix after a good workout this morning why not write them a review; they deserve that at least🌷

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! This company has been charging me twice a month for my membership and wont reimburse me for the extra charges! Ive been dealing with this issue for weeks and no one will return my phone calls or respond to my emails. I sent the DM, Adam Ballard, an email explaining the situation and he doesnt even have the respect, professionalism, or courtesy to even respond with an email back!! WHO IS ACTUALLY RUNNING THIS PLACE?!?! Ive been in management my entire career and cant fathom treating customers this way. No wonder the employees act the way they do when their example of leadership is coming from someone like this! What a disappointment after having a membership for over 5 years to a place I really enjoyed! All you had to do was pick up the phone and push a few buttons on a credit card machine and this could have all been resolved. Look at all your 1-star ratings with awful reviews....can this company not see the bigger picture and actually hire people who know how to properly run a business?! Worst employees, worst company, worst customer service EVER. Find a different gym to join!

This is the best gym Ive been to by far! Very wide range of equipment, the staff is genuinely friendly, especially Ashley and Noah! Cleanliness around the gym has improved a lot, noticed Bill the General manager himself took initiative to vacuum the floor around and UNDER the equipment. Very excited to continue being a member, and would DEFINITELY recommend

Favorite gym for 5 years. No pool needed! Group classes are amazing

Great value gym. Low cost...has all the equipment one needs. No pool at cary location but one can use north hills or RIP locations for pool.

I’ve been going to this location for 2 years. The gym classes are awesome and instructors are encouraging. The staff that run it are pushy and at times down right grumpy. I get asked if I want to win money, free t-shirt, spin a wheel of prizes but I have to give up 5 friends’ emails to enter the contest. I’m not sacrificing my friends for them to meet their quota. Stop asking....

If you just want a cheep Gym with weights, treadmill, bikes, and a shower room, than this gym is perfect for you. There is nothing special about it, When I first signed up they bragged how it is the cleanest gym around here, I guess he was talking about everywhere besides the bathroom. I never felt it was clean every time I went to the bathroom there, and I been working out there for 5 months now.The hours suck, as a person who likes to workout before work and has a job that works on the weekend, I cant workout on Saturdays or Sundays because they open at 8.For $10 a month, it is the cheapest place you will find. Also there is a start up fee when you sign up, You can usually talk them down pretty easy, just say you are tight on cash and they can cut the start up fee in half.

Fitness Connection of Cary is the best gym I have ever been apart of. Their employees are always friendly and willing to give a helping hand when needed. All my workout success would definitely go to Michael. Hes a great leader and trainer.

I tried to cancel my subscription in July of this year but could not get anyone to pick up a phone at Cary, NC location. Finally went online and cancelled it. Couple months after cancellation, they charged me annual fee. I called corporate office and they could not help. The lady rep was so unprofessional and raised her voice saying that nothing can be done. I asked for her name and ID so I can have it as reference before I call manager, she just hung up. Wow....I lost words.

I had monitored the website prices for a couple of months as I considered gifting a membership to my husband for Christmas: same 2 deals ($10/mo w/ $79 enrollment + $49 annual; or, $20/mo w/ $0 enrollment + $49). I called and was transferred to an FC to inquire about any upcoming holiday specials, and he said no and confirmed the same 2 deals. I went in the next day, met with Thomas Sanders (GM), who showed me the new pricing that had just gone into effect, which basically increased the bottom line of their least expensive option, and added a 3rd option. They are in business to make a profit, I get it. However, theres the customer service aspect... I explained to Thomas that Id just spoken to someone the night before who said nothing about the new pricing going into effect, and that Id come prepared to purchase the $10/mo plan w/ $79 enrollment plan. He chose not to honor the pricing mentioned the day before, and I chose not to do business with them based on his handling of that situation. Thats poor customer service, Thomas.

Really disappointed in the fact that while trying to encourage my friend just starting off at the gym, he was so turned off because the free 5 day trial advertised online is now $50. Why?? Makes it really hard to recommend this gym at all- shady and predatory pricing to new guests. So much for that. Classes they offer can be nice, but dont expect any room on the gym floor for what you pay.

The staff here is great! Kudos to my personal trainer Tasha, she is awesome !!! Im always greeted with a smile, and the manager Bill has always been pleasant. I cant say anything bad about this location. Thank you to all the staff for all you do!!

Went by the Cary location today. Was looking over the place.The person showing me around (Michael) was friendly until I wanted to read the fine print in the contract. Then he got an atitude.Ended up walking out. Went to Planet Fitness. They had no problem with you reading the contract.Also Mikey - working out in a gym is not going to make you taller. You will always be short!

Solid machine selection and availability. The staff is overall very courteous. Ive been a member for almost four years. The only problem Ive ever had was with the availability of the basketball gym. I was initially less than thrilled with they way it was handled but I understand why they did it. Overall every time I come to the gym I have a pleasant experience.

Bait-n-switch...We have been members for 3 weeks and we were promised a schedule of classes. They showed us a schedule of weekly classes when we signed up, but since then they have not be able to provide...so not sure if they even offer classes on a regular/predictable basis...which is the reason we joined this gym...a big disappointment.

I have been a member here for several years and wouldnt change a thing. The staff is super friendly and you get way more amenities here than your other $9.99 gyms. Would highly recommend this gym to everyone!

Big time scam! I have been fighting to cancel for a year now after they lied to me. I suppose the only way is to close my bank account and start a new one!!!Responding to your reply: Really? After talking with customer service many times and filing a BBB complaint NOBODY could have told me that? And you just took out yet ANOTHER $360 from my account. This is a battle that is wicked!

I finally broke down and started working with a trainer (Taylor) and I couldnt be happier! I have been working out for most my life but after awhile you reach plateaus and need that extra push. Now I hate working out alone! The results are worth every penny. Im glad the staff encouraged me to try it:-)

Ive been going to this gym since 2016. Its small but the equipment is in good shape. They have a variety of classes and instructors that cator to everyone.The 9.99 monthly charge cant be beat!

I wish there werent five stars I would not even give them one.Dont take my Word for it they have horrible reviews Ive experienced basically the same situations as everybody else to give them one star if you go there youll go loony.

Noah that previously worked at this location and he is at a new location did not handle my issue properly. He lied to me on the phone stating he would take care of it and never did. They keep your money, won’t refund you your money they mistakenly taken and try to make you pay extra to fix an error on their end. I would never use Fitness Connection again. Ask for paperwork whenever you sign up. They do not give you anything. They don’t even have a way where you can monitor when the money comes out. Place is nice on the inside. Customer Service and handling issues makes this company terrible

Always crowded and never updated
