IJAZ RASUL does NOT DESERVE EVEN 1 STAR. The worst place ever, I have worked with them from Pakistan. Dr ijaz is a butcher. He hires team from pakistan, gets his work done and fire them without salary. He pretends to be an HR person, an accountant and a manager at same time. He riped off number of Pakistani peoples. He pretends to be an HRperson name MICHAEL but behind the scene he is himself. He has not released 2 months salaries of 8 persons. He bills incorrectly and over charge the patient & insurance as well. He never sends Medical Records to the insurances because he does false billing.if you really want to be treated for your any kind of issues then please consult a professional and kind hearted Psychiatrist, stay away from this Demon. His focus in not on treating his patients but on making money.
If I could I would give them 0 stars. Worked with them for a year because they could give me my medication I needed. Never have ONCE spoken to the actual doctor only his assistants. If you can afford to find another place DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Every appointment lasts about 5 minutes or less to ask if you want a refill. They DO NOT care about their patients or mental health. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
PA Callahan was completely disrespectful and dismissive. There was no professionalism. Ive had successful therapeutic relationships with my psychiatrist and therapists back in Cincinnati and he is no where near competent. Ive already contacted medical board and state to report him. Dont mess with us nurses.
While Dr Rasul was great to work with I have to tell you that this is the absolute worst medical practice I have ever experienced. It’s impossible to get in touch with any office staff or management. Making appointments is incredibly difficult and then you’re lucky if they actually schedule it at the time they told you. Then, to top it all off, they have been billing me incorrectly for nearly three years and the insurance company is launching an investigation for medical billing and coding errors that may be considered fraud. Based on the insurance company’s advice I will also be filing a complaint with the Department of Health and Human Services. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
This is the worst run practice I’ve ever experienced. They have taken my money and have not reimbursed me for close to $1k in charges. They are unresponsive to myself and insurance provider. I don’t know who runs this practice but it is awful. Do not do business with them. If you do, take you own risk.
Called to see if my childs insurance would be accepted and said yes..... And that I had to fill out all paperwork...... Filled it all out to all of a sudden you tell me my insurance isnt accepted. Wasted my time. Hire people that are knowledgeable. !
Lied to me about the cost and that my insurance was accepted here. Unresponsive to emails and messages. Cant get through to anyone on the phone after many tries. Its been about 4 months now with no response. Didnt even talk to the actual doctor at any point in time, just 15 minute online session with a nurse practitioner.
Not an actual psychiatry service this is a scam. If you are seeking help please do not go here as theyll traumatize you and confuse you further. I never talked to an actual doctor. The woman on the tele-psychiatry never even introduced who she was. I was transferring from another doctor and already on medication that worked. Immediately said they don’t “like to prescribe controlled substances” which is code for they can’t prescribe them. Any legitimate psychiatrist you would go to obviously is never going to immediately tell you the medication you’re already on isn’t right for you even if it’s a controlled substance as they haven’t even evaluated you yet clearly. Was basically as far as the first meeting went and told I would take basically what was a quiz next time. I assumed maybe I would speak to the actual doctor next time and maybe this woman was just getting initial information. The second meeting I was told take online quiz then next time she will tell me my diagnosis. Confused by this, I said that she hasn’t even received the records from my last psychiatrist yet so how can they do this? She just said the online quiz is reliable and do that. After I said they didn’t know enough about me yet she looked at me and said ok tell me what else there is harshly then stared at me. I stuttered and was taking time to get started and open up and she literally cut me off and shut me down and said “ya you need in person psychiatry” and I had to walk off the camera as I started crying. Who in their right mind would cut someone off like that while they’re in a vulnerable state opening up. And to make it more demented she asked me to come back and changed her voice to be nice and said “you just had a breakthrough!” to try to gaslight me into believing what she just did didn’t happen and instead me crying was somehow me having a “breakthrough” At this point I had talked to this woman for maybe ten minutes in total. The online quiz asked to answer for the past 6 months which I was already on medication for. She told me to answer the questions as if I hadn’t taken medication which makes no sense as then I’m making hypothetical answers. I just have A.D.D. thats all I was there for to get A.D.D. medication. Finally when the next appointment came she told me the quiz said I didn’t have A.D.D. I had anxiety and depression. She told me that my treatment option was antidepressants and started to list some which I told her I had already tried and didn’t react well. She also said Strattera which is for A.D.D. which I thought I “didn’t have”. I was so confused what was going on and asked if they had my records from my last psychiatrist as it clearly shows I had A.D.D. and was on a medication that was a controlled substance for it and was having great success from it. She told me she still hadn’t received them and I asked why she didn’t follow up with me again to get them and she told me that faxes could take a day or two and I said they sent it a week ago she had ample time. She then told me if I didn’t like the medication they were offering I should try somewhere else. I told her it’s bad to say a passive aggressive statement like that to someone who came to you for help. She then basically said she couldn’t prescribe controlled substances and would get back to me later. Got a call later I was let go from there bc they can’t give my mediation and bc of my “behavior” which was clearly just calling out the scam they are to their face. I fear someone goes there’s for help is misdiagnosed and given just any medication as they clearly don’t know what they’re doing and they’re going to end up responsible for someone’s life ending. Hopefully people reading this will prevent something that dark from happening as this is not an actual mental health office it’s some kind of scary money making scheme. I wish I read the reviews before.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Customer service! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Ive been waiting over a month for my sons medical records. Every time I call about it they tell me to fill out the request form on the portal which i did over 3 times and still no answer. Can not reach a supervisor. Same person answers the phone with no help. Very unprofessional & unethical. I will be filing complaints with the BBB as well as with the state. Unbelievable.
I had a great therapist here, unfortunately the front office/billing/insurance situation is horrible. My psychiatrist lapsed his contract with my insurance (Blue Cross) and did not notify me, they just stopped filing insurance claims and started automatically charging my credit card. I paid over $800 for healthcare that my insurance is supposed to cover. Once I found out what was happening, the clinic was completely uncooperative. I cant even file out-of-network claims with my insurance for the care because they refuse to provide itemized receipts. They claim they are working with my insurance company to solve the problem but Blue Cross cannot get them on the phone or to return calls or emails. They wont return my calls or emails either. I really couldnt afford this and Im totally stuck. Oh, and their websites all say they accept Blue Cross Blue Shield still, but BCBS tells me they have no staff that are in network.
I’ve never once talked to the actual doctor. Always the PAs. Also, customer service is abysmal. Whenever I call, I am greeted by long hold times that wouldn’t be so unbearable except for the fact that “thank you for holding, please continue to stay on the line” repeats every 5-15 seconds.
This is the worst clinic I have ever been to. I really cant even put into words how insulting they are to their patients. I havent been a patient in 2 years, and i still think back to how awful they are.
I honestly love this clinic. My therapist is great, my psychiatrist always caters to my medical needs and the customer service is always amazing. They reply to emails very fast, remind you of appointments and have always fixed issues I had in a timely manner. Also love that they offer services via video call.
I agree with the majority of the reviews here. If you can talk to someone beyond the front desk, youre golden. But the front desk is terrible. Ive started keeping tally of how long I wait for someone to answer the phone. Only once in 13 times did it take less than 5 minutes, most slipping into 15. Just for someone to pick up. Oh, and if you call and dont press 1 or 8, its a recorded message that hangs up on you. The emergency line (8) is a F
HiiIf you want to seek help go aome where else instead of piedmont.
This company is so unethical and I truly believe this company hire US employees to do video appointments only. Nothing else is handled state side; which is why there is so much miscommunication and lack of resources. I was having a hard time dealing with multiple life events that hit me all at once and I was receiving treatment via Piedmont. I requested over 10 times a copy of my records to be released to my job, my primary care provider OR me. I have used their portal several times; I have called and was referred back to the portal; I have responded to numerous emails and submitted everything requested of me and yet I still do not have any records.Well; 7/7/20 at 4:03 pm; I received a call in reference to my records. I was advised that my Google review was very negative and if I remove it I would receive my records. I agreed to remove my post just to see if Piedmont is a legitimate business and could produce my records. Needless to say; I still do not have my records. Now, I am in the process of filing a complaint against Piedmont with the State, filing a BBB complaint for fraud and since they used my military insurance to pay for my sessions; I will definitely contact JAG and file claim since the government is paying for services that Piedmont cannot show records of.PLEASE do not let your emotional state stop you from doing your research on a facility before seeking help. I was lost at the time with life events; I still am and Piedmont has added to my life stress and illness.
I had a really horrible experience with Dr. Ijaz Rasul today. He insisted on a diagnosis which does not fit me after less than five minutes of conversation, had very little interest in anything I had to say, and tried to force multiple (five!!) medications on me, including SSRIs, when that is not at all what I am looking for, nor what I need.He made me feel so disempowered, and was extremely aggressive. When I asked for an explanation of this diagnosis he was dead-set on, his response was, “I don’t have to justify my diagnosis to you.”I should’ve felt heard and understood by this doctor. Instead the appointment, which only lasted ten minutes, ended in tears. He is clearly a pill-pusher who has no regard for anyone looking for real help. Run far away from this doctor and this company.
Awful practice. Their front desk staff hang up on you when you call, the psychiatrist talks down to you and gets snippy when you make simple requests of him. Would not recommend
I don’t even want to give it one star but the therapists my child saw really did try but the office and owner are not worth it. High turnover of therapists and nearly impossible to talk to a receptionist that’s actually IN the office and not at some call center. Poorly run and very disappointing experience. When I brought this up to the owner he had nothing to say.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have reported them to the medical board. I suggest doing the same
I read all the reviews before going but thought I’d give it a try anyway. Bad idea!I called yesterday and spent 20 minutes trying to make an appointment. Finally got one scheduled for today at 5:15. They asked for me to email pictures of my insurance card, which I did immediately. Thought everything was all set.I show up at 5:05 for my appointment and they can’t find my name in the system. So I show them the email confirmation that they received my insurance information. I waited 25 minutes in the waiting room for the front desk lady (who was actually very nice) to contact the Clinic Coordinator. Finally I was told that they didn’t get around to verifying my insurance so I would have to pay $150 to be seen today! They claimed that they would refund me when the insurance was verified. Yeah right! I’ve never heard of running insurance taking 36 hours! Walgreens does it in seconds!Anyway, I left because I’m not paying $150 when I have insurance that will cover it. On the way home I get texts from the clinic coordinator essentially blaming me! Said “We were working on your insurance, that’s why we didn’t get in touch with you to let you know the appointment wasn’t verified”.This is the most poorly run doctors practice I’ve ever experienced. And they have a huge expensive office in Cary. I guess they can afford it by stealing $150 from people when they claim they can’t verify your insurance.Seriously, don’t give these people the benefit of the doubt like I did. They are terrible!
If you want to deal with negligence, choose Ijaz Rasul. Prescription management is a joke. I had to contact him twice a month through the only means of communication (Online forms) to get my prescriptions sent on correctly and on time. Ive never spoken with him directly, just his assistants, so for all I know this guy could be non-existant. They caused so much major emotional damage, Just...dont.
I now see why there are so many negative reviews. Unfortunately, I have another. Ive only been a patient for 2 weeks and have never seen a psychiatrist before. I am fully aware that I am not an easy patient for anyone, but the suggestions of medications were unbelievably terrible for me and my health. I feel much worse today than I did 2 weeks ago. I went from seeking help to now believing nobody can help. Thanks!
Professional, responsive, yet personable and caring. I enjoy working with the staff while they have been real support through a difficult period.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Here you are Misdiagnosis and ignored. It is very unprofessional and the hold onto your medical records which is illegal considering your medical records are yours legally, Dr. Ijaz Rasul is terrible and has no regard or respect for individual who need time sensitive documents. And by the looks of it I’m not the only patient who’s experience was unpleasant.
Im disappointed and highly disgusted with the treatment Ive received. Thankfully, Im not going through a crisis otherwise this may have pushed me over the brink. The doctor treated me like a number, rushed through questions and didnt seem to care or show interest in understanding my needs. Also, he couldnt even prescribe what I needed because he lives out of state, which is absurd! Dont advertise to Californians if you arent licensed to serve us - its a huge waste of time.
Absolutely Terrible Service . At this practice you are Misdiagnosis and treated VERY unprofessional . You can not even receive your own Medical records. Which I know is illegal because your medical records are your property. Correct protocol has been followed to request them, however getting my medical records seems to be more than difficult it’s been it’s been a stupid amount of time since they’ve been requested, Along with medical papers that need to be filled out but Dr. Ijaz Rasul. I may have to get a lawyer just to get my own property.
Terrible Service . Misdiagnosis and unprofessionalism are at the top of the list when it comes to this practice. You can not even receive your own Medical records (which I’m pretty sure is illegal considering your medical records are your property.) Correct protocol has been followed, however getting my medical records seems to be more than difficult it’s been 2 months since they’ve been requested Along with medical papers that need to be filled out but Dr. Ijaz Rasul. And yet, still nothing.
Horrible group of people. They are very dishonest about initial appt cost. My first appt I paid $249 as requested the doctor doing the telehealth visit asked me if SHE could reschedule and call me back the following day. WELL NEXT THING I SEE IS A TEXT THAT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED $150 MORE FOR THE SAME APPT! NOW THE OFFICE IS REFUSING TO REFUND ME FOR THEIR ERROR OR EVEN CREDIT IT TOWARDS A FOLLOW UP APPT. I MEAN WTH! I originally thought they were being kind and con earned but I can totally see they are just taking advantage of patients during a time of needing help. Never got medication or another appt. Told to go to group class but Im scared Ill get charged for speaking to the again.
I want to extend my thanks to you at Piedmont Behavioral Services. I feel very hopeful about my future now. I have much more opportunity to engage in meaningful work, to become more involved in my community, and to develop deep and lasting relationships. I have struggled for so long and I was eager for new solutions. The therapy with the ADHD center will really help me to work towards short and long term goals and to develop structure in my day. I also believe that I will make great strides in improving my confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Raul has a great manner with patients and I feel comfortable and safe working with him. I feel excited to start my days now!
I have been going to this doctor for a few months but keep running into the same consistent issues. First of all you should know that their phone number is not the office. It is too outsourced agents that are very tough to communicate with. You can never reach your doctor If you need too. Also they make you do a drug test as a standard procedure before you can get started with them. WARNING: ask them how much you will be charged for this test! They provided me with no knowledge of a bill I will have to pay later down the road. The therapy I experienced here was subpar. The guy I met with basically talked the whole time about himself while I just sat there continuously getting interrupted. As for the psychiatrist, if you want to pay for a guy who just sits there and doesn’t really seem interested in anything going on in your life and tries to get you out as quickly as possible be my guest. Quite bizarre. I am not going to even get into the amount of things that were lost through their system. Awful place. Unfriendly and unwilling to work with you.
Horrible service, staff refuses to listen to patients, hangs up on clients when faced with requests they dont feel like fulfilling. Doctors ignored my previous diagnosis to try new medications that were not requested, those interacted with existing medications and caused horrible side effects.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! Dr Rasul is completely unethical, gets constant complaints of harassment from female staff, could care less about patients and staff. BTW, all 5 star reviews are mostly written by him or his team if you are curious. Please do not get help here or attempt to work here. The staff (which they do have good therapists) are overworked and are limited in making the right decisions for clients as most of decisions come from Dr Rasul or a fake HR department (Dr Rasul). Would give zero stars if possible as he is a disgrace to the Mental health field.
Terrible experience and utterly non-responsive about concerns. Look elsewhere: your mental health deserves better than this sham operation.
The staff at Piedmont Behavioral Services continues to take great care of me. They are alwats willing to listen to me and put my needs first. I want to just say thank you. When you are a person with anxiety and worry it’s nice to know you have a place like PBS that cares.😊😊😊😊The staff at Piedmont Behavioral Services are great. The counselors, doctor and definitely the support staff. I would recommend PBS to anyone in need of their services. I always appreciate their support.
Impossible to get in touch with, all their automated services just point to each other instead of getting you in touch with anyone, dont seem to care if they let you completely run out of medication
I know people have posted things negatively about this practice, however, my personal experience has been very professional, very accommodating and never had a problem with my prescription refills or authorizations. Dr. Rasul has been extremely helpful and was able to get me back on track to succeed.
Don’t waste your time. Disorganized and nobody wants to address your concerns. Will ignore you until you leave out of frustration, it’s what they’re hoping for. Receive treatment from somewhere else I beg of you
I was a patient here for a couple of years. Dr Rasul may have all of the degrees, but he was awkward and difficult to build a rapport with. Perhaps he would thrive in a lab environment, but he is not enjoyable to converse with. I switched to another therapist in the office who was fantastic, but she just left.. incredibly, they refused to provide any sort of contact (even blinded) for me to reach out to her new practice. I eventually found it through my own research. How ridiculous. Also, never the same people at the front desk and each one is dumber than the last. Office looks like its been under construction for years but nobody bothered to finish. This place sucks and I am glad I no longer have to step foot in the building. Good riddance. Oh and bring your own beverage because the nice cooler up front full of cold drinks is gone...
I’ve been seeing Dr Rasul for a few weeks now and he has been very supportive and promptly puts in my medicines. I’ve had no complaints at all. I see some posts where people say these aren’t “patients” posting but I am willing to show my records to any doubters. He has been more responsive than any doctor I’ve seen in the past.
Beware, most of the 5 star reviews of this provider are fake. Review them and you will find that they are all written by the same non-native English speaking person using identical phrasing.I was seeing this physician due to a physical condition that was causing cognitive issues. He refused to take this into account and attempted to push drugs on me that are known to cause various psychological side-effects including dementia, insomnia and anxiety. When confronted with these reputable long-term studies, he simply said that they werent true and refused to discuss the issue further.I understand the appeal of same day appointments but I highly suggest waiting for more reputable providers.
The Doctor was very professional and I felt better when I left. I Read a review that someone said they treat people like trash. That is absolutely wrong. The doctor doesn’t like to shake hands it’s a cultural thing so don’t be offended by it. So far, so good!
This place is a joke and a scam DO NOT GO. My gf went for an initial consultation and was not seen by the doctor she made the appt. with. A PA gave her a survey to answer/minor discussions and then asked her to return the next day for the second part of the consultation and then had her complete the same survey and questions.Basically double charging for their services. She made them aware of this and asked for an explanation and they made her leave.DO NOT GO HERE.
Highly Recommend this place! Been to many therapists over the years, but Dr. Rasul is my favorite! Very caring and Professional. In fact, all their staff are very caring, kind people.Dr. Rasul is effective, capable, and a great listener. Not a practice where you will leave feeling like you were just pushed to take a bunch of pills or you’re paying for people to pretend to care about you.Check them out! Highly recommend.
We have been coming to this practice about 8 months. It has been a great fit for us. We have not had any issues, our appointments are easily made and prescriptions are easily requested and readily available in a timely manner. This place is not your average doctors office, it provides services for individuals with all different areas of needs. We have the utmost respect for Dr Rasul and his entire staff and we will continue seeing them.
The staff and the Dr. have been more understanding and helpful that any place I ever been. Most appointments I have are on my phone and I love it. THANK YOU so very much... Keep up the good work..
Piedmont has been an amazing support for me. The Doctor was very nice and he was paying attention to my every concern and need and came up with a treatment plan especially for me. They gave me an appointment for the same day as well. They are Always willing to listen to me and put my needs first. I never have problems with my prescriptions being called in, it is done promptly! When you are a person with anxiety and worries about judgement from others, it’s very amazing to have this Doctor and his staff on your side!. Thank you so much!!
I really enjoyed meeting with Dr. Rasul, he is super courteous, nice and to my surprise he is knowledgeable in tech news.Staff was humble and good thing that they accept Insurances the Greatest ease!
I worked for him as a physician assistant for a year. He has refused to pay me my last pay checks. He owes me over $6,000. He has also stolen from numerous other employees. He has at least 6 cases pending with the labor department for refusing to pay. He has had numerous ppl sue him for stealing their wages. He files his employees as independent contractors so he doesn’t have pay taxes or provide benefits. In regards to patient care, I have personally witnessed him fill out psychiatric evaluations in a hospital setting without every meeting with the patients. He makes medications changes on children without seeing/ evaluating them so their insurance will continue to cover their hospital stay. He is a disgrace to the medical field and has no moral compass. In addition to these moral failings....He has hit a parked car and refused to admit fault even after the hospital administration showed him the security camera footage. His logo for his private practice is a stolen image from a Turkish spa.He pretends to have an HR department but it is simply him on a different email. He does this to avoid confrontation.Avoid him at all cost.
Using the online portal for prescription refills was fairly seamless. I made a request in the evening and the script was sent that next morning! .
I would use my best judgement and stay away from this wicked place. Its nothing but trouble. There are plenty of qualified, well educated family psychiatrist offices in the area with morals toward human beings and ethics in the working environment of how they treat their patients and employees.
Definitely do NOT take your kids here. This doctor sees you and your children as a walking bag of money, not a human being. He wont fill prescriptions on time, he schedules appointments you didnt ask for, and he has the personality of a diaper.
$350 for initial visit. Guy that i saw wasnt the psychiatrist. Had me piss in a cup becuause its standard procedure. Took 3 days to respond to pharmacy requests to alter prescription, which they determined i needed in under 10 minutes by the way, and only altered it after I walked in to the office and waited there for them to confirm they actually did it. Meeting was short and extremely inpersonal. 1 month later I was surprised with a $100 bill for having me unneccessarily piss in a cup. It was never stated, inferred, or mentioned that I would be paying for drug screening additionally. Perhaps my experience is a fluke, perhaps all other services are wonderful. Regardless, my experience was bad to say the least. My only return to this office will be to dispute my bill.
The Doctor was very professional and I felt better when I left. I Read a review that someone said they treat people like trash. That is absolutely wrong. The doctor doesn’t like to shake hands it’s a cultural thing so don’t be offended by it. So far, so good!they have amazing Telepsychiatry Services which is so convient
Piedmont has the best telemedicine services in the country! I have tried another one before them and piedmont gives outstanding service unlike most of them online. They have the best counseling sessions as well, they are very nice!
Absolutely awful. Tried to schedule a telepsychiatry appointment with this company and on their website they claim to offer services to West Virginia and I called to set up an appointment and was told that they did do telepsychiatry in WV and told me to apply online. I applied online and received an email saying that they don’t provide services in WV, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. So once again I called and was hung up on by the first person I spoke to after rudely being told once again that they didn’t provide services to WV. Called back again and the next person we spoke to said to lie and provide a Virginia address and they could help me, which is absolutely fraudulent. Absolutely awful customer service, awful at providing correct information, and just overall a fraudulent company. Actually glad I didn’t get involved in with this business because why would I trust them to provide me with proper psychiatry if they can’t even get their customer service right and lie about the services they provide and then ask interested clients to lie about their address. Absolutely disgusting.
Dr. Rasul and his team are caring, professional, and extremely supportive. He worked very hard to find the right mix of medications to help me. The IOP program is fantastic. It is hard work, but the therapists and the group format work so well. They helped me see that my life has purpose and that I can manage my depression and anxiety, instead of having it manage me.
The best! Its so hard to find ANY Dr these days where both the staff and provider are so caring! The ladies at the front desk always greet you with a smile. . Never makes me feel rushed
I have been a patient for 1.5 years and now. I drive over an to see Dr. Rasul because I have tried many many psychiatrist closer and had no success. Dr. Rasul is extremely educated on what medication worked together and because of this I was able to find and maintain a way of life that works for me.
Honestly considering reporting this physician. I had a tele-psychiatry appointment with him and he never refilled my prescription. I was fortunate enough to find an appointment with another psychiatrist before I ran out, but my pharmacy stated that they never were able to contact him again. Very disappointed as I was a patient for quite some time.
I didn’t even get in the door before I changed my mind. I requested a new patient appointment for a specific doctor who I was referred to. I asked if they could tell me the prices since I don’t have insurance. $350 for the initial consultation and $150 for every appointment after that which is crazy, but not the reason I have this terrible review. After asking in many different ways and many different times if they have a sliding scale or anything for people without insurance, Shery Kha kept replying with “For Out of pocket our initial consultation cost is $350 only and follow up cost is $150 only.Clinic accepts all electronic form of payments including debit, credit and HSA cards.”You can tell she was just copying and pasting the same phrase each time I asked the question. I also told her I wanted to talk to the psychiatrist about the cost because I was told I could get a discount because of the person who referred me to her. That never happened either.I decided if it was this much trouble just to get basic information, it’s not the place I want to seek help from.
We are receiving services here for my 2 children since we relocated to NC. I am impressed and happy with the care. We are able to get family therapy and medication management at the same place.
ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS ARE RIGHT. Dr razul is supposed to be a doctor i can come to for therapy or to talk to about anything medical related. He has the audacity to jeopardize my recovery, make me extremely upset, mind you i was almost in tears talking to this self absorbed doctor. he made it all about him and how I gave him a 1 star rating when I met up with him for a new prescription. The one star rating talked about how what kind of doctor doesnt have a office number his patients can contact him on. He has no compassion and Its all about him. All the one star reviews are right. READ THEM PLEASE :) This place is a mess EXCEPT for the amazing female therapists. hes just ridiculous. Dont go to this doctor. have fun with that review ;) my mom and a couple other people are gonna give you a one star review too. Learn your lesson and be a decent human being next time to someone who needs help Dr razul.
The therapists are great and they really try to work with you. The doctor is a whole different story. I have now been in a three month long battle fighting for my job. All because the man running this practice refuses to even glance at my HR paperwork to return back to work. I am going to lose my home because of this man and his practice. If you value your job and life as is, do not attend his practice.
I’d honestly give it zero stars if I. Can he’s money hungry dr Ruzel or however you spell his name. He doesn’t care about patients he tried to kick me out yesterday because I wanted to ask a question... and not make an appointment to pay him for literally one quick question.... he’s mean and slimy... he should not have a practice don’t go here if u value your self you can get a better Psychiatrist. he made me take a small test I could’ve taken on line of how do u feel depressed anxious and it cost over 1800 with insurance.... he forgot to fill out the forms for it so I may be paying t possibly... he wants me to fill out forms to remind him to fill out forms about me it’s so stupid I’ve never in my life had this kind of horrible experience.... oh and everyone at that office keeps quitting and around the holidays no ones there on phone or in person and so if u have an emergency your on your own and if you even call during normal hours u get taken to an call center out of the us we’re people just tell u to go to the website and also the form I mentioned earlier no one ever told me to fill out one tell many months later.. so I could’ve gone without knowing about a form and ended up paying a lot... this is just horrible oh and he won’t explain the test he gives u and he forgets.....
I started services after relocating here. I was misdiagnosed 15 years back and no other provider ever did any medical work up and they only focused at mental health. Piedmont changed my life and I started to feel better first time in my life!
Please listen to the other reviews and do not become a patient/employee here. It is an unethical practice and a lawsuit waiting to happen. The psychiatrist treats his patients and employees like trash. The only thing he cares about is money, not the health of his patients who rely on him. It is not worth the stress, and I wish I had never worked for a company that does not treat patients or employees with any sense of compassion.
I have been with Piedmont Behavioral Services for more than a year, I have seen more improvement here than in the last 5 years. The staff are caring and skilled in their profession. Be well!
I highly recommend to visit Dr. Rasul if you are searching for a new doctor. Dr. Rasul is an honest and understanding person, which makes him exceptionally easy to talk to .The atmosphere in the office is very friendly and easy going. There isnt much of a wait time to see the doctor, and each visit has gone extremely well for me.
I am impressed with psychiatrist thorough evaluation and attention to detail. I must RECOMMEND all other who is searching for some mental health services
I am happy to get urgent help today for my husband. Making appointment was easy and we are very happy to find this clinic after struggling in the past.
This place is run by Indians from India. They are rude and gave me a hard time. They should really go out of business.
Reception is terrible it is extremely scripted and just tells you to go online and when you do online there is no response (multiple messages in the past 2 weeks unanswered), doctor is not responsive at all to concerns about not being able to fill needed medications that affect quality of life.Clearly not a practice that actually values the mental health and wellbeing of its patients.Run away.
I am grateful for all the help! I needed urgent help and setting up appointment was quick and easy . comfortable atmosphere
Dr. Rasul Ijaz and his team are caring, professional, and extremely supportive. Dr. Rasul worked very hard to find the right mix of medications to help me. The IOP program is fantastic. It is hard work, but the therapists and the group format work so well. They helped me see that my life has purpose and that I can manage my depression and anxiety, instead of having it manage me.
I found Dr. ijazrasul to be warm, responsive, caring and very knowledgeable in her field. He was able to diagnose and treat my condition and made sure to follow up with me after I left the office. Without any reservation, I can highly recommend Dr. ijaz rasuland Cary Psychiatry.
Nice meeting with Psychiatrist and have good suggestions about day routine, I really thanks Dr. Ijaz for his patience
Tried to make an appointment, but got a very rude call center in India. I asked him if i could speak to someone at the center to ask more personal questions, but he told me no. When i asked a gain he said i guess you do not want to make an appointment and hung up on me. What a horrible first impression.
Dr. and his staff are awesome. Ive known them for years and never had any problems with them or their customer service.
Overseas answering service every time you call and they don’t understand English or what you’re saying. Also my child had three different therapist because the last one always quit and my child had to start over each time getting them no where! Would not recommend this place at all to anyone!!
It is unfortunate that I have to give this organization one star. There should be allowances for a lower rating. You cannot contact a live person, as others said you get a call center in what sounds like India and the provider cannot even connect you to the office in Cary. They insist on submission of forms online, but I sent forms and requests for four straight days via the website and they were unacknowledged in any way. I finally had to drive there to get my forms sent to my employer. They schedule you for appointments, including the doctor, but he isnt even in the office at the scheduled time, and this happened more than once in a three week period. There are other programs. Go somewhere else.
Judging by my dealings with the completely inept, rude and dismissive front desk help, Arsh Aiman, I will not dare waste my time patronizing this company. In my experience with just trying to get basic questions answered, I was hung up on at least 4 times by Aiman. I became upset and frustrated as I called back asking to speak to the office manager, a director, or whoever her superior was because she was not helpful. ARSH AIMAN HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.But, not before she informed me that -she- could help me. In which, I told her that I wanted to speak to her superior. Im taking my time to warn others. If this is what the practice expects the public to put up with, imagine how youll be treated as a patient!!!!I will further file complaints with as many agencies that I can.
My daughters release from Duke Regional after her suicide attempt on Mothers Day was contingent upon receiving INTENSE therapy so the social worker searched, and searched, and searched until she found any Provider that took her insurance and had an opening. Unfortunately, that happened to be Piedmont Behavioral Services. I went with my daughter for the initial consultation ( 10 min) and after reiterating to the doctor numerous times that the therapy would need to be INTENSE also that it was urgent due to her depression, an appointment was scheduled for the next day.My daughter arrived at 9:00am as scheduled and the doctor arrived 9:15 thus cutting her allotted therapy time with him and next therapist. Oh, it gets even worse! The doctor tells my daughter that some of his patients like to go outside while in therapy so she went along with him unsuspecting of his true motive which was a VAPE break. She was so desperately seeking help that she said she wanted to give it another try the next day and the exact same situation occurred - arrived late and VAPE break. Two days of the same non therapy was enough so she did not return. On the 6th of June my daughter took an overdose and could not be revived. My heart is broken into a million pieces and my life will never be the same.I am truly appalled at the lack of compassion, professionalism, and truly an unethical practice that is even allowed to call themselves experts in title only.Note to Piedmont Behavioral Services - I will continue advocating for others in memory of my sweet daughter who was desperately seeking help from you and did not get it!!!Bob Johnson
We are happy with psychiatrist Dr. Rasul Ijaz but her office staff isnt always the most professional. Staff should be more Professional but its oky for now
If you are reading the staff here have helped my mania, my depression my autism and my insomnia. I will trust Dr. Rasul with my life. My life has sucked til Dr. Rasul helped me live a warmer and happier life. Thank you Doctor!!! GOD BLESS YOU PIEDMONT. My recovery is getting better.David Klein, Patient of Dr. Rasul and PiedmontBehavorial Services.
I work at another office in the Cary area calling about a medical release that we received from them that is not filled out properly. I ended up with a call center over seas (India most likely) after being hung up on the first call. They ahve no clue what you are talking about and is not even associated (when you get switched over it says a different name) with them they are just paid to answer there phones. She does not know English well, did not take down my contact information so that when she figures out the solution she has no way of letting me know. And lastly how are you a mental health provider and you have no way of your patients to actually get in contact with the actual office in case of an emergency!?!?! If I was looking for a provider trust me there are many others out there and even in the cary area that you can go to that will treat their patients like people and not $$!
These positive reviews are fake. I am a former employee and looked up the names of those who wrote the positive reviews and they are nowhere in the system. This place only cares about making money and treats employees and patients so disrespectfully and acts like we are all stupid. The Dr. misdiagnoses often to get insurance reimbursement and they try to dictate everything for the employees despite them all being contractors. The dept of labor has been involved with them for a while for cases against them. The are constantly in violation of the contract and every time you call them out on something they go silent. This place is highly unethical and you should never ever attend here or work here.
I am grateful for all the help! I needed urgent help and setting up appointment was quick and easy.
I love that I came across this place ( which was totally by accident) for once I have a Dr. who isnt throwing me a bunch of medications an is actually working w/ me to lower/ get off some of them.
Nice meetup with psychiatrist, I reschedule appointment multiple time and they are oky with that, amazing thing is that they provide tele psychiatric services in different cites...great job!
WORST PRACTICE EVER! Beware! No customer service skills at all. Cannot even get a live person on the phone in the United States. Call Center who picks up the phone is horrid (might as well NOT answer the phone) and doc was 45 minutes late for a TELEDOC appt. How does that even happen? Horrible Horrible communication and Customer Service skills. Dont even want to think about how the appointment would have gone if I had one.
Highly recommend Piedmont Behavioral Services for there professionalism and co-operative staff.
Terrible. Dr Razul is the rude and doesn’t care about patients only filling prescriptions. And will only fill prescriptions if you pay for an office visit. I had a simple question and he would not see me. No one in his office and he was instant messaging the staff to tell them he wouldn’t see me without an appt. So while standing there they scheduled an appt for that moment. Only after I paid did he talk to me. Awful. Terrible customer services. Terrible for mental health services. Do not go here!!!!!
I do telepsychiatry over video chat, which has helped me tremendously being a stay at home mom... dr. Rasul is my psychiatrist & always listened until my medication worked... when I fill out my med refil request it has always been filled that day or the next. I have never been treated like I dont matter. Best choice I made going through this place for treatment & counseling.
Nice meeting with Dr. Ijaz Rasul, I really appreciate the staff cooperation
Got a weird vibe from this place all around and dr. would only do a weekly fill of meds. Actual receptionist in the office was nice though, so gave an extra star, but will be looking elsewhere.
Customer service and support is handled by the worst customer service and support call center in the world. Mostly all the staff in call center is foreign from India. They will argue with you about clinical issues especially billing and become very rude. Dont dare ask to be transferred to the front desk. After meeting with the doctor for 45 minutes, being tested and treatment recommendations made the doctor said he sent certain medications to the pharmacy and reconfirmed it the next day. I got an email from a clinical coordinator who refused to identify themselves. That stated they wouldnt fill the medication order due to the fact they would not prescribe a controlled substance. No doctor called himself to inform me of the change.the practice charges 150 for a 15 minute appointment self pay. Will prescribe suboxone to anyone as they make more money as they require a weekly appointment and doctors cannot make their own decisions. Stay away from going here. If you are a local try Carolina partners, alpha psychiatrist, dr Lawrence Greenberg, dr. Snow or focus nd. This practice is beyond questionable
No no no no no. Just no. Stay AWAY stay FAR AWAY. All the reviews listed here are accurate. If you need genuine psychiatric help, youre not going to find anything but more problems from this place. It was clear from the second I made first contact that this place was just interested in how much they can get from my insurance company. The receptionist is not fluent in English. It shouldnt take a call back or follow up call to answer a SIMPLE question. I am so glad I found out before I got in too deep -- got an appointment with another psychologist who literally grimaced when I said where I was considering going before making the appt with them. The onboarding documentation states that Rx refills are $75 without an appointment and $45 with an appointment. I work in medicine as well, and Im so sorry honeybun but it does NOT cost $45 much less $75 to pay an employee to phone in an Rx. Not even close.Furthermore, please explain why it took an act of congress just to simply get my first appointment for the right day and time??? This was over text communication. How hard it it to decipher that I will not be available until Wednesday or Thursday and yet get an email reminder 1 hour later for an appointment on Tuesday at 5:15 -- I will be at work. I just told you that.If you cant get basic scheduling down, and when I call your front office, I get someone who mumbles and speaks broken english, Pro tip, maybe you should close until you have fully trained staff. This clinic is an embarrassment to healthcare and I genuinely feel sorry for the patients who go here.
I recently moved to Raleigh area and lucky to find a top notch mental health services in west Cary. I like the comprehensive approach.
NO POINT in going here. I went to discuss some anxiety and was told that the doctor was calling in some prescriptions. Not only were the prescriptions NEVER SENT, but when I tried to follow-up on it I got no response. NO RESPONSE. Literally the biggest waste of time.
