I have found electrical supplies here when other places are out of stock. The counter people are really nice and helpful too. I only knocked off a star because their prices are higher than what you pay in some other places in Raleigh/Cary. But, overall, I usually head here first when I need electrical stuff.

Needs more breakers!

I like to give my business to local stores, but my experience at City Electric Supply highlights the downside of doing that. I didnt see the signs stating that all cash sales are final until I went back to return something and they pointed them out to me. It was only a $5 item but nonetheless, bad business practice in my opinion. Strongly recommend that you pay with plastic if you decide to give them your business. I would think they would prefer cash to save on the credit card service fees. Irritating.
