I damaged my transmission pan on the way to work. Since I drive a truck for a living I was in quite a bind. I had the vehicle towed to Consumers. They took care of the entire repair from start to finish, even took payment over the phone without me having to be there in person so I could continue to work. Very professional and friendly also. I dont live in the Cartersville area but if I did, this would be my go-to spot for all of my auto repairs. I really appreciate them understanding my unique situation and going the extra mile to help out.

Weve used Consumers Automotive for several years. We use them because they honestly and accurately diagnose and understand your vehicle when you take it in with an issue. They are friendly and down to earth, everyday people. Simple, excellent service. We have a vehicle thats on the road during the week, making it hard to get in for an oil change. We were able to call last minute and bring it in for service. We dont expect them to have the capability to do so every time, but they made a way for us to get the service we needed. We moved to the Cartersville area about 3 years ago and Consumer Automotive was recommended to us early on when looking for a mechanic. My wifes Volvo had an air conditioning issue that previous mechanics were unable to repair. Mike diagnosed the problem, called me with an estimate and then properly repaired the system; we havent looked back since.Weve taken our vehicles only to Consumer Automotive since for issues as small as oil changes and as big as timing belt replacements. Weve found Mike and Andrew and their crew to be honest and effective in every repair weve had done. They also stand by their work as evidenced by a power steering issue I had on my Honda Pilot that was repaired but the issue reoccurred. Although months later, Mike stated the work was still under warranty and replaced the power steering pump free of charge.We both own vehicles over 10 years old and know repairs can be costly, but Consumer Automotive doesnt price gouge nor do they look for added things to fix that dont need it.I highly recommend Consumer Automotive and wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.Wanted to add to my post as we had an issue with my wifes Volvo as the battery was slowly draining. Mike ran several tests on the car, found the problem, and got back to me with an estimate. The repairs were made and once again weve had no problems in the week or so since the repair.One more thing worth mentioning, when Mike gives me a quote for the work to be done he stands by it. I have never had a quote that was later changed or something added on. Honest and effective once again.

Excellent service! I drive 20 miles to these guys. In my experience its rare to find a mechanic that is both honest and reasonable, so its well worth the drive.

They take really great care of my car every time I bring it there. There are not too many foreign car repair shops in this area. They always work to find the problem no matter how difficult or may be. The thing that I like is that they always take your car for a long drive to make sure that its working the way its supposed to.

Had my sons Jeep for over a week! Was told we would have it Monday but was called and said it would be Wednesday! So called Wednesday got some excuse about about how one working on it was out partying and broke hand! Told me they would not be able to repair cause he was only one to work on it! Said they would put back together! When took it to Kams they said nothing had been taking apart! Kams repairing it less than 2 days! Easily one of the best mechanics I have ever used. We are new to the area, and chose Mikes shop over the rest based on the Google reviews. He was reasonably priced, took the time to work with me on understanding and finding a repair package that fit my budget.Not only was he and his staff incredibly professional and helpful, he personally texted me after I picked the vehicle up to make sure it was driving smoothly with no problems. He even identified some service I had requested that wasnt necessary in order to save me money.Dont think twice, this shop is the one to use. I wont even bother with anyone else now.

By far the BEST experience I have ever had with a repair shop. I was on a road trip with my wife and 2 year old daughter when our 2008 BMW X3 broke down near the Cartersville exit. Called consumers automotive after-hours (9pm) and left a voicemail. I unexpectedly received a call back from the owner within minutes. He was kind, honest, and understanding. The car ended up needing a new water pump. He had us back up and running the very next day. the price was fair and reasonable considering the cost of the part and the labor required. While the work was performed he provided us with a loaner car so that we could eat and burn some time. A few hours after we were back on the road he even texted me to check in and make sure everything was still ok. Consumers automotive went above and beyond on all levels. i would HIGHLY recommend.

Ive been going to Consumers Automotive for OVER 10 years now. I go there because I TRUST them, use OEM parts when requested and are reasonably priced. End of story.
