I had Appointment today for new passport on August 25. I got this appointment online. Waited 2 weeks.. I went there on my schedule time but they told me all appointments are canceled till 9/07/2021 They didnt Inform me before so I could make appointment somewhere else. 👎👎

Sent my worker to Carteret post office to mail a letter in an express envelop that I had bought a month ago, the young lady who looks like she is training charged him $2 and Chang for the envelop, I went back to get that money refunded, the young lady never handed mr back the receipt, I was distracted, frustrated from her comments, I called up the office 3 times miss Williams put me on hold for sometime stating that the lady is with a customer. Called up again, she asked formy phone number to have the lady’s call me, really, Seriously, you know what god bless mis Williams, I know you are doing this on purpose. God bless, I don’t need that tracking number, but you are giving this Wonderful post office that I’ve been dealing with for 15 years a bad review.

Susan, you are AMAZING! Thank you for being so helpful! I had a horrible experience at the post office in Port Reading this morning (review is available under the port reading post office) and decided to come to the Carteret one. Susan greeted me as soon as I entered and was EXTREMELY helpful. I didn’t even need a new package! I was able to use the one mine came in with and I didn’t even know I could! She even had the address printed for me on a sticker so that I didn’t need to write it!! Susan, you are a perfect example of what a customer service representative should be!!! Kudos to you and Thank you for being so kind and helpful!

Worst possible post Office a woman by the name of ANGIE said she was management what a joke she doesnt know how to resolve any issues and you can see from the other reviews of the one star all the five stars are from years ago everybody recently has given 1 star.. She didnt listen to anything I said just said uh-huh and didnt care she shouldnt be working there .. And there was an African-American woman with long braids and long nails who is rolling her eyes and completely unprofessional also

Since I moved here last year this post office has been wonderful to me. They are fast, nice and efficient.

Taqiyah did my passport application she was professional and very knowledgeable as well as polite she provided exceptional customer service with speed and accuracy thanks a million!!!

Terrible service

The manager at this post office is probably the nastiest person I have ever encountered. She did not greet me like a manager should and when I explained to her I never received a package SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! The worse costumer service.

This place is so unprofessional and does not help whatsoever. Angie and Jimmy should not be working there since they are unable to assist customers properly. Angie is very rude and she claims to be the supervisor but cant seem to find my missing package and wont reimburse me when it was their fault this package was lost in the first place. I will be filing a complaint against Angie and Jimmy. if I could give zero stars I would ! worst post office EVER!

These guys cause me to lose my new passport by sending it to the wrong address.

The customer service is SERIOUSLY lacking. Completely unaware of who I spoke to on the phone because she didn’t say her name, but she could definitely do a better job than what she is.

Product was supposedly delivered and left at my doorstep today at 1:15 pm. Nothing at door or behind gate. So I reviewed my home security cameras just see the fedex truck drive up the block and deliver two packages up the block to my neighbors and then leave. Delivery guys in truck never stepped foot on my property to deliver the package and then lie and stated that it was delivered.

Okay, so I came for the passport, the hours state its from 10 am to 1 pm Saturdays, showed up at 11 am only to be told theyre not accepting more passport because they got 10 for the day. Came 2 days later, at 9:45 am just in case, it was not until 10:45 when finally someone came over to help. Mind you, I was the first and only person there for passport. I am not sure what policy they are running but its horrible methods to be used.Ohh, I also overheard how the next day there was gonna be noone for passport, so If anyone came the day after me its completely screw without notice.

My tracking number was showing that package delivered, ive checked mail room twice there wasnt any package, next day i went post office, supervisor said package is not here, it is been delivered and took my number said, i will contact you after speaking delivery guy. After 15 minutes she called me back and said package is in your delivery room and when i checked delivery room package mysteriously was there and guess what it was open and sunglass inside was taken over and then put back. That is disgusting whoever was delivered package stole it and after he/she got a call from supervisor bring package back. What a shame for USPS !

Worst place for getting a passport! I had to wait for more than an hour and I was the first and only person getting a passport. The staff told me they are short of workers, but even though they are not busy, the other staff just disapear. Sometimes it just makes you wonder why private sectors do better than goverment sectors.

Very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful staff and I look forward to going at least once a week.

Sometimes there is a line at the counter around lunch time but it moves pretty quick.

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL VERY VERY RUDE, HEARTLESS/FEELING LESS FRONT STAFFI WAS THERE FOR PASSPORT AND LOST OVERNIGHT MAIL WITH MY 2 YEAR OLD ONE WITH ALL COMPLETE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AFTER LITERALLY WAITING 1.45 MINTS MY KIDS APPLICATION WAS SITTING ON COUNTER AND COUNTER WOMEN DID NOT EVEN BOTHER THAT MY KID WAS CRYING SO MUCH AND SHE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OUR TURN) BUT SHE PUT UN ON HOLD JUST BECAUSE WE ARGUED HER . FINALLY WE WAS REFUSED TO TAKE OUR APPLICATION AND WE BACK WITH OUT SUBMITTING IT AFTER WASTING 2 HRS . WHAT A SHAME

Worst experience ever! If I could give them 0 stars I would! Go there for passports which hours stated from 10-3 but there was no one there that could help! And the clerk who was working the counter was lazy and didnt look like he even wanted to be there! Will never go back there again!

This is the worst post office ever. Horrible customer service and their supervisor Angie is the most unprofessional person ever. I had to report her to the Consumer Affairs Department.

Worst place worst workers so unfriendly. I work in customer service and know what its like and these people were rude to me for no reason. Went at 11 for a passport, hours state walk in from 10-230 and they told me they were on lunch and to come back at 2 to maybe be helped. So lazy and unfriendly it was literally empty and they just all didnt want to help. I went to Edisons post office on Kilmer road instead the facility was amazing and I was done in 10 minuets. Definitely go there NOT carteret.

The wait is never more than 5 minutes. The employees are polite but not necessarily friendly. Theres always a few customers that dont understand (dont want to understand?) how to ship a letter or package and that is when everyone starts to get aggravated.

Nastiest customer service I have ever received. They had asked for my phone number when I called early am so they could “call me back” however, they never did and when I called back hours later, they rejected my call until I blocked my phone number. Coincidence?
