The store is well organized and the app works well in-store, but I’ve waisted more time waiting in line to check out or return something than I’d like to think about. Gone are the days where each register can be used. You’d think they’d want it to be easier to pay than to shop, but I guess not.

The Lowes Home Improvement in Carrollton is my preferred Lowes in the spring because their plants selection is much bigger than any of the other Lowes. This store is also unique amongst the other Lowes as they discount the ragged plants. This is handy if you are on a budget and have a large area to landscape. The discounted plants are still alive and will normally revive with proper care.

I came here to try to find some peat moss for my birkin plant.I asked for help in the gardening area and the guy was on his phone with his mask at his chin. I asked about the moss and he looked it up but kept telling me to just go to the back corner and I went there twice. I ended up leaving and wasn’t able to find what I needed.He said that there is typically a plant expert there but there wasn’t so he couldn’t help me. I probably will not be visiting this location again.

Came in around 6:15pm on a Wednesday july 7th to pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready at 5:10pm. The employee at the customer service desk had told me to wait till 7 pm because the employee that works on the online orders was on break. That was fine because I needed to talk to someone about the pully blinds I needed custom made because it was the last day to get 40 percent off deal promo they were doing for july 4th weekend. I walked around and couldnt find them so I had spoke to another employee and she told me to ask customer service to help me get someone at the window desk for help. Went to customer service and one employee called for the employee then walked me and my husband to the window desk and told us to sit here. We thought she had actually spoken to the employee that was supposed to help us so we trusted her and waited. We waited 20 minutes and no one came so my husband went back to the front and another employee spoke on the Intercom to help us at the window desk. We waited another 20 to 30 minutes and no one came. I resorted to chatting online with the lowes customer service Allen W who pretty much said he could do nothing because its an instore promo. He advised we go ask for a store manager to help us. We went to the customer service desk to grab our online order and asked for the store manager. Marquisha told us the store manager was not in store so she called another manger instead. Becky the manager came and told us there was nothing she could do because the custom window blind employee left at 6pm and she wasnt sure why the 2 employees that helped us didnt check the schedule of the custom employee and had us waiting. She then made an appt for me and emailed the custom employee about the situation and told me I had to come back the next day to talk to her and make the order. The sale ends july 7th the day I came in and the manager told me that she could not guarantee the deal for the next day but she wrote in the email for the custom employee to talk to the manager the next day and see what they can do. It was such a frustrating experience because I talked to 6 employees and no one could help me correctly and 2 of them had failed to tell me that the employee had left and had us wait around for about 1 hour.Allen the employee on the website had told us to write a feedback on the website but I dont see a feedback tab so I am writing this on Google. He told me he had also written up the incident.Becky ended up trying her best to help me and I dont mean for anyone to get in trouble but next time if the other employees could please just let the customer know if the employee they needed help with has already left so we arent waiting around wasting our day and time for nothing. And also guaranteeing the promotion that shouldve been provided even though the employee was not there to help should be the right thing to do.

Getting more and more upset with them. They are moving everything around and as a contractor, it takes more time to find what you need. Then when you ask for help everything they thought was there is moved also. I Like, that they are close but not that they change products. Ive bought products there, and they no longer carry them. Just like the kobalt drill. It wasnt broke but they had to change it. Now if I need parts Ive got to go online to find them.

They lost my shipment of blinds. No communication, and never calls me back after they say they will. I have spent hours on the phone with them, the installer and shipping company just to get a re order on my blinds and its still not installed yet.Do not buy from Lowes, terrible service.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had consistently. I’ve been here about 4 or 5 times the past few weeks and no one has helped us or knew what they were talking about. 2 people walked out before us one day and the other night I went and an isle that was closed with no maintenance going on. I needed supplies there when a young guy told me I couldn’t use the aisle because they were about to use the machine on there. I said I just need a couple of these brackets and he kicked me out. I left the store and I will never be back. I’ve told at least 10 people plus about my experiences at this store and will keep telling more. The machine wasn’t being used at that moment I knew what I needed and he rushed me out the way.. no machine was being used at that time and he would not give me a moment to grab what I needed

I found what I was looking for and the cashier who assisted me was as helpful as she could be. However, I walked past 5 different people in the area that she sent me to and all made eye contact but failed to stay around long enough to help me. Luckily, I still got what I needed but had to search and search for it. I maybe be back but only because of how close it is to my home.

I love the support that Lowes gives to military families. They give a discount every day on every purchase if your veteran. All you have to do is get set up by calling their 800 line and after that you give them the phone number. Selection is great, services great, prices are great and give military veterans discount every day. What else do you need to know?

I like what Lowes has done to make it easy for Veterans to shop by inputting their information into their system, unlike Home Depot. There is no consistency with the staff and their policy as to show or dont show your Military ID to receive a Military discount.

I bought a new refrigerator paid for the pick up of old refrigerator now this was for a business, was very upfront with the sales rep. starting the old refrigerator was not in good condition. When the 3rd party delivery service came out we received the new refrigerator no problem but they would not take the old refrigerator which really was a issue, I called Lowes, they offered a refund for the pick up which I did not want, I just wanted them to make it right by picking up the old refrigerator, they did so, their customer service was great we truly appreciate them! Thank you Lowes!

Corona Virus - During this pandemic, wouldnt it be a better idea to space out the registers so customers arent so close together? Its a simple fix... Just open a register a couple times down from the other. I asked the person helping us why did you have to out to use the registers so close together they said they were build Pre-Corona Virus. I said - yes, but cant you maybe skip a row?? Anyways, we wont shop there again. Its not worth the risk. Poor management.

It’s pretty well known that the level of customer service in big box stores is not the first priority, but this takes it to the next level. In an effort to contact the appliance department I was put on hold and disconnected twice, waiting for about 20 minutes on hold all together. The 3rd time I called I was told the person that was supposed to be there called in sick and that there would be no one there to help me for 2 hours. I asked to speak with the GM and waited an additional 15 minutes...then disconnected for a 3rd time. I called back 2 additional times getting the same customer service rep and before I could say anything she said, “please hold” and immediately put me on hold...and was disconnected again by no surprise. At this point I’ve waited over an hour of my time. I called one last time, a man answered and immediately called for the manager and was connected in seconds. I told the GM, Todd I believe. I told him of my frustrations and my experience, he got quite frustrated with me. I explained I was relating to him the substandard service I received and again he blew it off and asked with attitude, what I was calling about. This is disappointing. I had just spent $1900 on appliances to get this level of disrespect, it’s insulting.

I cannot say enough about Lettie in the Appliance Dept. I went in looking for a black refrigerator and none were on the floor. Without asking she took the time to find out they had one in the back. Because of her kindness I also purchased a Washer and Dryer (that I had planned on getting at Best Buy). She made my Christmas a lot better. Kudos to amazing service.

I love Lowes. However, i went to exchange a Kobalt 80volt cordless blower, and was told to call the manufacturer, because it had been too long (about 9 months ago) Im sorry, but Kobalt is your store brand, and it is a hassle free 5 year no questions asked replacement guarantee. So, why this location. Decided not to accept it is beyond me. However I will try a different and hopefully have better things to say.Usually the employee owned chain home improvement store is spot on with every thing I ever need there, and they normally have great service. But this location on the day I went, failed miserably.

Asked an employee about differences in flush-ability in toilet. I dont know anything about that was answer. No open registers with a human, only self checkout at 4:30. Multiple problems scanning. Asked for help to load heavy item, (toilet,) was told that they probably didnt have anyone to help. Help was paged twice, no one ever came. Nice customer in parking lot helped. Sorry to see this decline in customer service. Used to be my go- to place for everything home improvement. Not anymore

Absolutely the worse store for customer service. Been here a few times because I understand people sometimes have bad days but each time I been it’s been different employees and I can say never again. Their employees are very rude. We were there during closing time and one of the last customers and gentleman snatched my items out of my hands and very rude. The next I went and had someone else and the same exact thing rude. No thank you or did you find everything ok nothing. You can tell they hate their jobs. Next time I will just drive the extra few minutes and go to Home Depot.

Online ordering and pick up is very easy. A few days ago I special.ordered a few small items on bLowes.com. today I received an email and then went to the Carrollton, Texas store where, upon requesting my items, store personnel were immediately able to provide me with the products. Easy peasy.

My kids asked why I always shop at Lowes- today exemplifies my reasons! They have supply, selection, a clean store, and most of all customer service. Sure, if theyre busy, theyre busy. However, Ive never been ignored and tonight a smiling employee saw me struggling in an isle with a cart of soil, sand, and a 40 gallon container. He offered to help and carried the container nott only to the register, but to my car and helped me load it.

Terrible service. Poor quality products. Bought a dryer just over a year ago. Now its making a burning smell. I opened the power supply panel for the first time and found wiring all wrong. Green cable should go to green and white to white. Green is instead on white, white is not secured to any stud but is touching green. Black is melting and arcing. Lowes wont do anything about it just because it took a year for that loose wire to short it out and claiming I cant prove anything! Unbelievable! Also, we switched the door hinge and found they left out two screws!

I hate these kinds of stores. I dont know what Im looking at 90% of the time. I feel a lot of the time employees from Home Depot are mostly rude and condescending. But I really needed help here and the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. If I asked a stupid question, they never let on. Unlike their competitor down the street. This location stinks! Last week my husband went to buy lumber, There were only shopping carts. When he asked about the large carts, he was told they put them in back to prepare for remodeling! I guess they dont plan on selling any lumber until they are done?Yesterday I attempted to return an item without a receipt. The manager at customer service informed me that no receipt, no return. That was the new CEOs policy and he could get fired for giving me store credit. Really? Thats not what your web site says, so I went to another Lowes today and they gladly returned my purchase (which was still new sealed in the box), and gave me a store credit. Dont shop at the Carrollton Lowes! Go to Home Depot or a different Lowes location!

The folks working were super helpful and have unbelievable patience dealing with customers. Some of the public I witnessed interacting with staff were just so confrontational, rude, etc. I was doing an online order pick up and it seemed like every customer in front of me in line was royalty. Returns with no receipt, trying to pick up an order they placed 10 min before hand, etc. Associate that helped me had a name starting with a Y, super helpful and courteous to me after dealing with tough customers. I have tried 3-4 times now and have yet to say it has been a good experience. I usually have a difficult time getting assistance, however this time was different. This most recent time, I was being assisted buy a young lady at the returns counter. I had asked her to look up a UPC code to see if they had it in stock. I sensed that I was not articulating what I was wanting very well so I had rephased my question a different way. The young lady seemed to understand what I was wanting and had started assisting me with it when another young man injected himself into the interaction in such a way as to leave me with the impression that it was an inconvenience for me to be engaging with another one of the returns counter employees. Im not sure if he was waiting on the young lady I was working with for some reason, but the message was clear.I know there are those that love Lowes and wouldnt go anywhere else and Im glad they have had such a great experience there, I just wish I could too.

Feedback is not just about this store rather about Lowes itself. From now on I will never visit Lowes and I will suggest all my friends and family not to go there either. Compared to Homedepot HD, they have less items, horrible customer service at this location. In multiple instances they have suggested wrong fittings or wrong items to me. Horrible return experience as well. Ex. I wanted to return a small thing that was not even opened and just passed 2 day after 90 days (Bought on 10/17 and tried to return on 1/7). Customer service was not ready to return, even for store credit. I can understand if the items is used but for an unopened item the guy at the customer service was not ready to return saying system will not accept.. Really dude???. Compare with Homedepot HD, they have a 180 days return policy and they also give store credit even if it passed return limit. At this Lowes, most of the staff is not knowledgeable at all. I dont know on what basis they hire. Well .. finally good buy to Lowes...

Overall, I would go here for nearly all my home improvement stuff. Only downsides I have had is the saw they offer to cut large plywood sections has been broken a couple of times I have needed it (I do not own a big truck and cant haul a 4x8 sheet all the time). Also, I have had to wait a decent amount at the mobile pick up. Lastly, be careful when picking out some wood planks as the stock has been mixed up and I wound up paying a higher price for what I thought was a good all-purpose/general stud!

We went there to get some lumber to burn in a fireplace. The guy who works there asked us if we were buying the lumber to burn in a fireplace, which we told him yes. He then informed us that regardless of the wood being treated or not lumber was not for burning in fireplace due to a sap that can get in the chimney & could cause a fire. He told us it was up to us but he wouldnt recommend it. Thank you!!!

Hired Lowes to install flooring in our house back in July of 2020. after 5 months of poor communication between Lowes and the flooring installation company, Lowes decided not to do our floors so when asked about carpet the lady Shayla said NO that Lowes will not do any of our flooring needs. After speaking to one of the managers he had one of his guys ( Jake, super nice and helpful) from flooring pick up the items in our dinning room. ( day before Thanksgiving) . This experience has left a bad taste for me dealing with Lowes.

I was looking at drills and needed help and couldnt get anyone to help. I accidently set off an alarm and the associated seemed so annoyed I get it. I work retail where alarms go off all day. But he came mumbled something and walked off. Didnt even ask me if I needed help. I must have circled that section for at least 30 min. Horrible experience. I work at a retail store for appliances and would never have ignored someone that obviously looked interested and needed help. Wont go to this location anymore.

The staff is always very friendly and eager to help. Even the other customers are friendly... Most places you get some rude people but myself and family have never encountered that kind of behavior.
