I picked up a 2013 Nismo 370Z with 20,000 miles back at the beginning of June. Since then Z1 Motorsports has been the best and worst thing to happen to me. From their exceptionally fast shipping, to their top notch customer service, they’ve made it way too easy to spend 1,000s of dollars shopping with them. Keep up the fantastic customer service guys!
I should have written this review many years ago. I bought the brembo upgrade kit from them and stainless steel braided lines were included - all for my 03 G35. One day, someone cut in front of me and I slammed on the brakes. I stopped just fine. After continuing along, my brake pedal went straight to the floor. The stainless brake line has ruptured. After calling in, Rod said he couldnt help and instead pleaded for me to send a picture or video for the engineering team to study. What a joke. If I had to stop in an emergency again, Rod may have gotten pictures of my corpse and the brake line to go with it.This was in 2013. Z1 may have turned things around, but since that moment I spoke with Rod, I felt sour with Z1 and have always shopped elsewhere. I have repurchased another G35 and am in the market to upgrade and track my car, but will search parts from others.Also, for what its worth, the rotors warped on me with normal use. I never raced or tracked my car.I attached the picture that Rod was requesting.
I usually dont leave reviews, but with how Z1Motorsports have served me they earned 5 stars, if I could give more, I would give it to them. This was my first time ever ordering from Z1 and it was very fast and efficient shipping. Got it within two days of my order, eta was 3-4 days. I had a small problem with one of the parts, that was my fault and I emailing there customer service, and Blaine was very helpful, quick responses and helped me a lot. I will most definitely be shopping with Z1 again. Cant wait till I order more parts. Keep up the great work. 👍 🤟
Customer service is a 10/10 I had ordered the Z1 CAI but they didn’t have it in stock so I called and they were able to easily switch out the Z1 for the Stillen gen 3 I’m very happy with that… I will gladly be spending my money at Z1 in the future. Best place to get parts for your Z or G!!!
Worst company ever! Sold me a defective part and won’t take it back. If you sell products that do not work you should take them back and refund your customers. Tell Matt that there is always a chance that something you all sell won’t work right! Now I have a $400 part sitting in my garage that I can’t use, nice company. Will never buy anything from you again and I will tell everyone I know and blast you on social media because your customer service skill are terrible. Learn from Amazon!

When I buy a part dont tell me its backordered later on. Put that on the website. Or offer a different company part that you have in stock thats the same price. Also dont say you shipped out my order but never actually did. I need my steering knuckle on this weekend which is why I ordered on Monday afternoon. But I just had to call to get my order shipped 4 days later. Not a good start for using this company. Really hope this doesnt happen again

Very often when I interact with a company I only interact with one person there, they become my relationship to the company and it always works well. But man the family over at Z1 Motorsports, Inc. absolutely kills it every time. Used to be only Matt I dealt with, for quite some time. Then as Matt became busy with other things, Joel helped me out with something, met Joel and Bre in person at Formula D, and now Junior since they were both unavailable today. And EVERY TIME I have to interact with Z1 these folks knock it out of the park. Simple request today but less than 3 minutes on the phone and I had a tough to find part on the way to my door to be delivered tomorrow.Such satisfaction has been attained with every interaction Ive had with Z1 over the past decade.
Made a 5 hour round trip to check out their shop and get a few parts and I could not be more satisfied, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Over all an excellent experience and I can’t wait for their new store front to open!

OK Ill start with saying Z1 is covered by their policy but I think they couldve done better to start and definitely better in how things are handled.I ordered a Z1 high capacity differential cover kit for my sons car. Once everything arrived we assembled the differential and when we tried to install it we discovered it wouldnt fit. I immediately went back to Z1s site and discovered that a very important piece of information was tucked away. The site shows all the cars the cover will work with so you think great. Then at the very bottom there is a very inconspicuous note that says the cover wont work on models with 4 wheel steering. This is rather important and should be at the very top and stand out.So I called and was told that since I attempted to install the part I was not eligible for any type of return or credit. I was told to try to sell it on my own to recover some of the cost. This is not at all the type of response I would expect from a reputable business and one that I have used in the past. Absolutely not one that will receive my business in the future.It is my fault for not reading the fine print but lets be honest. Would you have seen this on the ad if I didnt point it out? At the end of the day I made the mistake but I wouldve expected more from Z1 on the backside
This is the second or third time I’ve used Z1. This time it wasn’t for my G37 or G35. I used Z1 off road and bought a Pro4-X skid plate. I’ve started to do some trail riding and need some protection on the front of my Titan! I order the skid plate on a Sunday night around 9pm, it was on my truck by 3pm on Wednesday. Super fast shipping. Now I do only live 1 state away in Tennessee but still I was impressed. Great prices, the box wasn’t beat up and it even came in the original Nissan box, it had only been opened to put in 2 Z1 off road stickers. Thanks again you all, I will 100% be back! Keep up the off road stuff.

Ive got nothing but good things to say about these guys. Their logistics are on point and all parts come carefully packaged and on-time. Ive ordered stuff ranging from basic bolt-on parts like CAIs & exhausts, to entire clutch kits & suspension setups (Tires, wheels, coilovers, etc.). Theyve helped me diagnose issues with certain adjustments to my clutch kit (csc elimination kit adjustments), and have been responsive via email too.Recently, I ordered $1300 worth of parts that got totally ruined by Fedex. They filed a claim on my behalf and told me theyd have to hear back from Fedex for the claim to be approved.I called today (7/22/2021), and spoke to Raymond who was a tremendous help and getting my issues with Fedex resolved; he went ahead and sent me the parts that were ruined despite Fedex not getting back to them regarding the claim.Raymond is the MVP.

This business is actually a joke I’ve been told for 5 months straight my order is coming next week next month next week next month… and then when I email them they don’t even respond if they respond they tell me they don’t know where my order is or they don’t have a time for my order even tho they told me multiple times next week next month and I call the company they tell my they’ll have someone contact me with more information I’ve done this 5 times already no one has called me back with any information no emails have been sent no tracking numbers it’s actually ridiculous super unprofessional… I will never be ordering parts from them again and hopefully the part even comes okay now let’s see.
I frequently shop here via online and sometimes I make a trip to their brick and mortar shop. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. In my case my baby is a 2006 G35 6MT sedan, an old car that you see very few of anymore. Once I found Z1 they are my go-to for my performance parts! Yesterday I visited to grab a Jim Wolf Technologies pop charger intake system. Install was a pain but patience and finesse paid off, sounds great, looks great. My butt dyno is happy!
A painful experience with minimal platform knowledge and essential customer service only, but far from pleasant. Bought only what I needed from them and other items purchased cheaper at the competition which doesn’t have the fancy bells and whistles but pricing and knowledge base is heads above this place. Shop around and see what’s in stock before ordering
Been shopping from Z1 for over 15 years now and never had one issue occur!!!
Only thing good about them is their web host being fast and them having an above standard website. If only they paid attention to detail on their information, which in one night of browsing things I needed found an amazing amount of discrepancies. Ive made two purchases from them with many more than two issues with them. My last order from last week seemed to lack any emails saying there was any issues so I called. They said one of the two items I ordered had to be built (basic 20mm spacer). Later that day I got an email saying it was first in line and should ship soon. After a few more days I replied to that email and voiced my frustration. If they truly do CNC machine their own spacers and I was next in line, then why hasnt it shipped is basically what I said. The reply said it should ship in the next 1 or 2 weeks. Had I knew they were out of stock, even if they didnt order what they say they build, then I would have my spacers right now installed. Had their website had an IN STOCK or OUT OF STOCK message like any other website much less dated than theirs, I would have simply gone somewhere else. They say you should call in advance. Who does that these days? I dont need to be up-sold anything by talking to a salesman. Their site lacks the most normal function there is in availability. They cant say they have the equipment that would carve out my two spacers in 3 minutes, say Im next in line and then say its going to be a week or TWO unless theyre buying from China or elsewhere (search for the many people that say they do this).Another kicker is they wont post negative reviews! That should be criminal. They are liars to their own clients by not allowing them and such a thing alone tells you the company is not trustworthy.
Payed them $1100 for some coilovers via their website. They had the wrong image on product so I ended up getting the wrong thing. Sent it back to exchange for the correct product and it’s has now been three weeks since they received my end of the exchange and they still haven’t done anything about it. Every time I call them to check on it I get some kind of generic excuse about why they haven’t gotten to it yet. Save yourself the headache and just buy directly from manufacturers.
Worst experience ever. They don’t care about their customers satisfaction. Once you purchase from them don’t ever expect a refund especially if they have a “guarantee”. Products belong in the trash. I was hoping this place would be amazing but don’t set your expectations high. Extremely sad customer service. STAY AWAY!

Z1 has gotten horrible over the years. The evidence is in the plenty of 1 star reviews on this page and any other website if you look into the z1 customer service issues. Avoid this place at all costs. They don’t care about helping you with any questions, they are only being nice to you to sell you their product and once you buy it you’re the one suffering - they have your money at that point. When they are wrong, they will attempt to get out of it by saying they have no record or cannot verify. I would not order anything from this company ever again.Just a situation that popped up this week regarding Z1 motorsports. I suggest you guys reconsider ordering from them if an alternative provider has the parts you’re looking for. Their customer service department is not very helpful and will leave you in the dark. I was told by them that a part I ordered will ship the same day or the next day early in the morning. I was expecting it to arrive with the remainder of my pets. When I checked my email the following day, it was showing that the part was shipping out two days after my original order date. I ended up ordering the part from another source and now they are forcing me to pay a restocking fee on a part they had not informed me was backordered at the time of the order nor when I talked to them on the phone as the order was being placed. They have really gone downhill, and have significant operational issues. I would reconsider ordering from them, when there are other parts providers offering better customer service and higher quality parts. They also cease their research and development on parts once they complete construction of it. I have heard of former Z1 employees actually purchasing parts from places outside Z1 because of issues with their parts. They will sell you with information like “this is what we use on the racecars” but remember they can afford to have that car on a lift for any job because they don’t have to pay for labor. They can change their parts out as frequently as they want, but the average consumer on the other hand cannot. I would really reconsider when ordering from Z1. I would highly highly suggest seeking other vendors such as ZSpeed or Concept Z. The only thing you pay for on the Z1 website is a fancy HTML design and good looking webpage. You can call customer support at any other company and you will instantly notice the difference. Further substantiating my statement is the fact that they don’t even reply to their customer reviews about issues experienced by the customer. Look at all the 1 star reviews below with no attention from management. Do yourself and your car a favor, please.
Just stopped by to check out the place and the staff were helping others but made sure to acknowledge me. Wound talking about cars for 30 mins or so was never pushed out or pushed in to buying anything( did buy three shirts before I left). Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Took some pics sorry if they arent the clearest my camera lens is shattered.Update 02/05/20. Took my car (2017 mustang gt) up there to put on the dyno even though they couldnt tune it I just wanted to see what see it was putting down. Even though I was in enemy territory everyone was nice and there was some back and forth bantering but it was all in good fun. Everyone there are just car guys and I had a great experience and talked with a very knowledgeable staff. I cannot recommend these guys high enough if youre a nissan/infinity guy. I can also proudly say I was the first non Jdm car on the dyno.
Order Number: 749589 had bad shim on my rotors in front, should have bought the stuff from local dealer or repair shop, now if i want warranty i am in there mercy, car is going to be without brakes for god knows how long and they with their attitude might say it dont qualify for warranty and if u want it back pay shipping again, not a good way of doing business my rotors had only 5 000 miles bought it in last august 2020 oem nissan rotors, i dont think i saved any money its more of aggravation

Outstanding customer service, every time I have contacted Z1 they have reached out to me almost instantly.I have never had a company be as rapid as Z1 in their responses.The products they sell are high quality, well made and have a great fit and finish.Shipping was extremely fast.Overall I highly recommend Z1 motorsports because I have used them and from my own experience they have blown everyone else out of the water. Will always call and buy from them first for my Nissan.Whenever I call for a question about my Nissan they have an answer. I’m sure they’ve heard it all. Always courteous on the phone and available on the weekend. Would take my car to them if I lived local for services.They have some of their own go-fast parts for sale that work better and are cheaper than other aftermarket options. I would recommend looking into them. They even sell some parts that other manufacturers don’t offer.
Dealt with these guys about 2 years ago when I purchased some parts for my new Q60, over $2k. Had to call 5 times to get someone to help me with the order. Got the 2-piece brakes with some nicks on them, no big deal, but for the price that i paid, i wanted them to be perfect and not banged up. Last year I decided to give them another shot with their Cyber Monday sale. Added a bunch of parts to the shopping cart and it all came up as Regular Price. Called John a week later (I didnt get a chance to call the next day as work cones before blowing money on stupid parts that only lose value), asked him to see what they could do about those prices and also to look into the Actual Weight of the $1700 carbone fiber shaft (almost $2k part and nobody knows anything about it, wtf), and to let me know about the LSD that was on clearance that I wanted for my other G35. Needles to say, a week went by, i dont hear from anyone. I call back, John picks up, tells me to hold, and leaves me on the phone. I call back few hours later, talk to someone else and they told me John has left to pick up his kid. Ok, have John call me tomorrow so i can place this order or I will give up on you and just leave you a feedback you deserve for the level of customer service... And, NOTHING!! No calls, no emails for a month now. So heres a well deserved rating and no $4000 order for you! Never shopping here again!!

These are the facts..you decide.I purchased the 400HP Package along with the Z1Test Pipes. I went through the process and sent them my core the next day. When I received the items an attempted to install them, I had serious clearance issues. For one, the Z1 Test Pipe bracket does not align with the factory U-Brace. In fact, on both Test Pipes, its an inch off. Second, THE HEADERS DO NO FIT! For the drivers side, you need to grind down the factory Motor Mount Brace along with relocating the steering column. Note: Even when the steering column is reinstalled, there are clearance issues.Why would anyone grind down their Motor Mount Brace and why would anyone make a Header that requires that to be done!? Note: When speaking to Sam and others, I was told that everything will fit. I chose not to do this and went through the return process.They charged me 20% for the return as well as telling me that they have no record of having my Core. Note: I had a Fedex receipt and record of Z1 signing for my core delivery weeks prior. After going back and forth with staff, they sent me An unmodified Core. Not my original Core which was from a 2018 Nismo Z with 15k miles on it. My Core was immaculate..you couldve literally eaten off of it. Instead they sent me a Core that looked like it was from a 10 year old Z, covered with Dirt, Oil and Crud .
Had issues with the shifter of my 300ZX I have recently picked up in Texas with a fresh rebuilt motor. I was in North Atlanta when the trouble happened. Z1 had the necessary parts and was able to squeeze me in on the Friday before Labor Day. They had the car fixed and ready to go in under an hour!

If you are planning on buying a brake kit save yourself a headache and call first to verify every piece of the kit is in stock BEFORE buying... I purchased a kit. After the initial order the status changed the next day to We are experiencing a delay with shipping your order... estimated shipping date 8/3/20. I called and was told they were waiting on the rotors they expected several weeks. Then the eta was changed to an eta will be provided when available. FOUR weeks after I placed my order I was told the truth that the rotors were really backordered. We worked out a deal that if I could source the rotors then theyd refund the rotors and some shipping costs. I found the rotors from car id and Concept z and had them all in 3 days. My order was shipped soon after. I had the rest of the kit the day after labor day. I spoke to Greg about canceling the rotors. My refund was issued the next day. Concept z was able to provide the actual eta on the rotors I ordered unlike z1.... It would have been nice if they were upfront about the rotors being backordered when I first called....

They may have good quality stuff but shipping and returning is a pain. If you order something it better be something you need or else you’ll loose money, one for them shipping the item to you and second the shipping cost returning it to them. Not worth it.
Very bad shop, you cant trust them, if you have and agreement, they dont follow it, if you write and email to them about it, they stop answering.I tried several times, i start writing them and email asking if they can help, they answer, when i then describe the problem they stop answering.USERIOUSE BUSINESS ! :/ dont use them at all, that is not without a reason that they have turned off reviews on facebook :(

They literally made me wait a month after taking my money to screw me over; made me lose a lot of money, and didnt try to help make things right at all... then dismissed me.Too long of a story to write and post.Now just hearing Z1 or the sheer thought of them makes me furious.Never again. They didnt ship a product out of thousands of dollars worth of parts and just refuse to actually send the one they forgot. Even though its their fault theyll make you pay again. Purchased a specialty item, all went thru on my end. 2 days later I get an email to call and order. Call and grt told my purchase was flagged for fraud in their system although they already took the money out. I Cant understand why except that was a gift and was mailed to different billing address than CC has BUT called and spoke to Greg prior to let them know that was what was doing bc was Xmas gift. They refused to complete transaction. So now do whole order over at their advise use totally different CC and get mailed to address on card. All goes thru they take $ again so now have 4k of my money and same thing. Ask for manager telling them need to override this is a legit purchase and they took the $ 2x now. I get told No have to use pay pal or bank wire which in essence they want cash! They are scam artists, both CC are now filing a fraud claim because they want to take peoples money and then say in their in house system its saying fraud AFTER they already have my money. Im reporting to the banking dept, BBB which they arent even embers of but BBB is still taking complaint and reporting to DMV as well. Beware with this company. Looks like they want cash only after taking 4k already! No customer service, the whole place is a joke! Make sure you ask about their warranty time too. I was told after realizing they sucked and I wasnt dealing with them anyway that the item was AS IS even if comes defective a 2k item as is not matter what seems unfair as well.
Ordered a spoiler. Came extremely damaged, was poorly packaged with really no real protection.Keep getting the run around. Waiting on FedEx, I will talk to my manager, manager wasnt here. Obvious run around.Taking your money is top priority, taking care of an issue, not so much.

I’ve been to this place many many times and each time I am Astonished by the different projects the team has come up with. Love being a customer here the service they provide is by far the best. Over the years I’ve built a good relationship with Jon at Z1. He is very Knowledgeable I take his advice every time. Till this day I don’t regret it. The advice he’s given me on my builds has saved me money and satisfied my standards. As a car enthusiasts there’s so many ways to get ripped off or pay for something that has no benefits. These things dont exist with Jon. He’s a very stand up guy as is the reach of the Z1 team. When you walk through their doors you get a good vibe. Very genuine and friendly staff!

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I have spent a month now trying to get my money back after ordering a set of brake rotors. I have called them 5 times, over the span of a month. Each time theres a new issue with my order they have caused. So far they have sent me out an order missing parts, refunded the incorrect amount of money, mistakenly sent out packages, and more. Im still missing some of my parts, or my money back. If you enjoy headaches, items being suddenly out of stock without warning, and waiting a month to get the items you ordered, Z1 motorsports is for you!

Ill be honest, Robert and John are freaking phenomenal. They are the only people that I will let touch my car. They did my exhaust, high flow cats, cold air induction, flash tune, upgraded brake system and slave cylinder elimination kit. They are reasonable on labor. And their mechanics are phenomenal.
Bough z1 z32 short ram and they sent me a pre owned/installed one I sent it back for a new one and they sent me the exact one again after they said they would replace it for a new one. Horrible customer service for the overpriced items you sell.
I gotta say it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. I brought my 09 SC G37s coupe down to have it looked at as well as have a clutch installed. I am 100000% happy with the results. Went from a bogus 310hp to 420+Prices were perfect. Customer service was phenomenal. All around a great experience. This will be my new go to for all my VQ needs 😎

Robert and his team fixed my 350Z!!!!! I couldnt be happier with them!!!!! My car had a major problem and it was extremely difficult to diagnose. Another mechanic had it for months and said they couldnt figure it out. (Still love them too for trying!) Thank you so much Robert and the Z1 team for going the extra mile. You said you wouldnt give it back until it was fixed and you fixed it!!!! Thank you SO very much!!!!! I dont trust them. I ordered some Weather Tech mats for my 370z. The box was already open and had been taped back up. They charged my debit card before i actually saw the mats. It appears that they sold me some used mats. I looked at them after I bought them. They just cleaned them up and sold a pair that was probably owned by one of their employees. I will never go back there.

A COMPUTER ERROR CAUSED A DOUBLE ORDER ON MY END AND MOMENTS AFTER SPEAKING TO THEM ON THE PHONE, EXPLAINING THE SITUATION I WAS REFUNDED MY MONEY. TWO THUMBS UP!!
Ordered a brake kit and they didnt give me my rotors..... That is unprofessional and careless dont order here. When I finally get my brake kit and it didnt fit my car.

I’ve been dealing with Z1motorsports for years. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve ordered countless parts, over 10k in total for my G35 and had next to no issue ( my own error when ordering online- called when I realized on my order form the part initially listed was for a non “rev up de”an got the correct part before my order shipped). I’ve read a lot of other reviews and there’s a lot of people complaining about Black Friday and cyber Monday back orders, but really people. Come on! If you’re not expecting some kind of delay around then from a massive amount of people ordering everything they need at one time because the prices are lower for those couple days, you the customer are being unreasonable. I’ve asked via email several questions over the past few years and I always hear back within 24 hours. They’ll continue to get my business as long as my my G35 needs parts. Thanks guys.
I order a mild clutch kit for 2 day shipping I was supposed to arrive Tuesday I get a email on the middle of the night stating I have to prove the identity of my card I told them the amount and told these guys I need the clutch next day because my car is in the shop and need to be gone by tomorrow or its going to the junk yard these guys refuse next day shipping stating I have to buy next day shipping and I told them I wasnt happy with their custom services and I need next day shipping these guys laughed at me and told me he gonna put my account under fraudulent activity after I told them my situation z1 motorsports is a no go honestly they are for them selves not the customer at all plus I lost my car behind this and honestly I know theyre laughing at the too but aye z1 honestly let me down

Ive been ordering from Z1 for a few years now, and my experience has always been absolutely fantastic. When I had an issue with my HKS exhaust, their customer service was top notch, and helped me get a new pipe straight from the HKS office in Japan. Recently, I made an order for a Bride Zeta III, and Sam was super helpful in finding a seat rail to suggest as well as tolerating my weekly call to find out when my seat would show up. The people working at Z1 are not only real Nissan enthusiasts, they are also some of the most helpful and kind people Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
Just purchasedmy uprev standard tune for my titan from these guys. The sales staff was great but the tuning service is horrible. The guy i spoke to dumped me a base tune then gone in the wind. If i wanted a base tune i would have bought bully dog or hypertech and saved hundreds. I paid $550 for a base tune and no maps just the one. Today i contacted cajun tuning and paid another $200 to get a proper tune. I will never shop here again guys if you need uprev remote tuning go elsewhere. Maybe they treat z car guys better but me driving a titan just got screwed. I should have ordered from cajun tuning from get go but chose z1 do to future dyno tuning.
