I 10/10 would not recommend this place, an employee was driving my car home each night & smoking marijuana in my car then when called them out about it they denied it. The shop had my car for 2 weeks and fixed not a single thing but used all my gas and put almost 200 miles on it.

Worst place ever. After 6 months my car was still not finished I guess since I paid up front, my mistake I guess. After saying I’ve had enough I picked my car up anyway and even told them a week ahead of time I’m coming to pick it up. Upon arrival I was told everything was done it just wouldn’t idle correctly but when I got home I found that that multiple things I paid for weren’t done still including the fenders not being rolled and other parts not being installed. The car was filthy with grease all over my brand new seats which are now ruined and some chemical was all over my headlights and itched itself into the plastic so I’ll have to replace those. The coolant was empty and their was no power steering fluid. I was told many many times it was about to be done for months and would show up and not even be close to done. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop

If I could give this place no stars I would.... My fiancé took his 2000 Honda Civic up to the shop to have them rebuild the motor with all custom parts as he wanted. We dropped the car off in June, paid them up front since we personally knew the prior owner until her death, and we thought they would get the job done, but we were wrong! After over 6 months of having my fiancé’s car at the shop, these people lied to us. Told us his car wouldn’t idle right, and that they fixed everything that my fiancé requested. When we got the car back this weekend, it still does not work, still doesn’t idle correctly, and nothing was done as requested. Some kind of chemical was spilt on the car, and ate away the primer on the left front driver side panel, the same chemical got on his headlights and screwed them up. His new car seats are covered in grease where they constantly were in and out of the car in their nasty clothes, and there was dirt everywhere. The fenders were rolled as requested and paid for, the back of the car is still sitting too low to be driveable, which was supposed to be fixed, there was no coolant in the car, no power steering fluid in the car, and a new dent in the hood. If you take your car to this shop, you’re asking for nothing but trouble. They ignore phone calls, they’re rude as hell when you do get to talk to them, and they drag their feet on getting the job done. They are extremely unprofessional, and obviously have no clue as to what they’re doing. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop as they will destroy your cars....

Awesome service! I am from out of state and buying a vehicle in carrolton. I was nervous about buying a used as-is car and I found West Georgia Auto on Google. They immediately got me in a did a great one over on the vehicle (ran codes, visual, etc.) They made me feel so much more confident about purchasing this vehicle. Thanks to David and his team!!! You just dont find people like this anymore.

They are very professional and kind and sweet but right now the waiting is Having me at a point where I’m just about to explode I had my wreck August I had to come out of pocket for a brand new 2019 Nissan Rogue parts Greg has been working with me and keeping me updated from time to time (parts are not cheap) But i have been working long hours to get all my part to be back on the road again was hoping before Halloween 🎃 for my girls but that’s didn’t happen I’m a very very very patient person until Days then weeks then before you know it a months come by and still No car 🚗 then i call I get a day it should be done an they informed me what’s going on and I get so excited I would get my driver ride by on my way to work Sometimes to see the new process but be very disappointed 😔 the service is wonderful and the people are so Helpful it’s just the waiting is soooooo long ready to drive again 🚗💨 it’s been 77 day my foot is itching for the pedal

UPDATE AUGUST 23, 2018:: GREG & HIS EMPLOYEES ARE THE BEST!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER SHOP!! MY MOMS WATER PUMP WENT OUT & THEY HAD IT FIXED ALONG WITH THE TIMING CHAIN/BELT IN 1 1/2 DAYS!! AND GREG WAS AWESOME ENOUGH TO SEND A TOW TRUCK TO GET THE CAR SINCE IT WAS OVERHEATING SO BAD. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!This company is AWESOME! Greg was VERY VERY helpful in getting my moms car fixed. Her alternator went out & he fixed it in less than an hour. We were across the street at the furniture rental place & were waiting on a tow truck through her car insurance. Greg wants kind enough to offer to send a guy over with a battery to get us to the shop so we wouldnt have to wait on the tow truck. Thankfully, the tow truck came almost immediately so we didnt have to wait long. But that was so kind of Greg to do. And then, because I am & was visibly pregnant at the time, Greg made sure I was comfortable & cool because it was so hot out. Awesome place of business & AWESOME owners & employees!! I would recommend this place over ANY OTHER!!

Just moved here from out of state. Went to 2 other mechanics who both thought I didnt know anything about cars and tried ripping me off. Was referred here by a co-worker and am totally pleased. Fair prices, awesome customer service. Greg drove me to my office when I dropped off the car and communicated updates regularly throughout the day. West Georgia Auto is now my go-to shop.

What an amazing experience! They treated me like family from the beginning to the end of my repairs. So good, I still drop by to say hi to the staff. My go to place for all of my repairs!!!

I usually dont do reviews. But felt this was neccesary. I had my truck brought here back in february just now got it back, but not from this shop. They took a brand new motor out and put another new motor in. After almost 4 months i finally got the call that it was ready. The shop was closed when i got there and i cranked it up and took off. I broke down not even a mile down the road. Had to get it towed to another shop. Oh i forgot they didnt put the hood bolts back in and the hood luckily was latched it almost blew off on the tow truck. They lied to me about several things said they put a new fuel tank on it but i painted the original one and its still on there also said they put new distributor that didnt happen either. Also the oil pan bolts were loose the exhaust bolts were lose it was out of time, a motor mount was not bolted on and several other bolts were loose. I took it to another shop and they had it fixed in a week. And they told me all the stuff that wasnt done and i couldnt believe it but they took pictures and showed me all the stuff that was wrong. Come to find out it was the mass air flow sensor. Anyways this place sucked for me. If you dont mind not having a ride for several weeks or even months dont take it here.

Greg is AWESOME. His secretary is AWESOME. His mechanics are AWESOME! His whole entire company is AWESOME! My mom & I were broke down due to her alternator going bad & we were waiting on a tow truck with TRIPLE AAA. Greg offered to send someone with a battery pack to help get us to the shop quicker so we wouldnt have to wait that long for TRIPLE AAA. He was VERY accommodating & explained everything to us in terms we (as women lol) could understand. GREAT company & even better employees!!!!!!

UPDATE (3/15/19): I had the pleasure of coming back here for my brake job. They quoted me less than half of what the dealership did and also completed it in about an hour. Great service and good, honest people. Thanks Greg!!!Excellent customer service! I had a door handle break and they ordered the part and fixed my door so that I could still open door from the inside until the part came in and once it came in it took no time to get it replaced. They were able to accommodate me and completed it in enough time so that I was back to work all without going over my lunch break. Also I paid $100 less than if I would have gone to the dealership. Trustworthy people and honest work. I will be back for any future issues I come across.

Very unprofessional. They had a bumper of mine to paint and they told me they would get it done within a week, but they instead took three weeks and did absolutely nothing but excuses and excuses because, they had more important clients. I was clear about the condition of the bumper and they still agreed! Shameful business that costed me time and money. I would not recommend at all.

I would have loved to give a 5 star rating, but they way they handled my daughters car situation was wrong and unprofessional.My daughter is an 18 year old university student that lives 2 hours away from home and has used them for smaller things, which they have done great work. But todays experience showed us that when they make mistakes, they will not humble themselves to make it right.My daughters car stopped reversing on Friday April 4th, and had it towed to the West Georgia Auto Service & Collision and told them that the reverse was not working. The David, mechanic, told her would have someone look at it and will call her Saturday. No one called her on Saturday or Sunday, she had to call them and no one answered. She then called them on Monday and no one answered. Greg, called her back and left a voicemail, saying her car was ready. Now, today Tuesday my daughter called them and Greg told her to call back, which she did and he then told her the price. he also went over the issues of the of the car and stated that her transmission was weak causing the the reverse not to work. (Direct Quote Recording)She went in and paid the $530.00 for the service and signed the receipt. she signed the receipt under the impression that the work she requested was completed. Her mistake! The receipt had note on it that the transmission is bad. As she walks out the door, they tell her that her reverse still doesnt work, after she paid. Please remember that is the whole reason why she brought the car in. they waited until after she paid to say something to her. Also, if you know that the reverse was not fixed why charge her the full amount, for a service that was not completed. They gave my daughter half the money back, because they knew they were wrong. I then called in and required all of the money back, which the lady on the phone agreed. I explained to the lady that, it is bad business to wait until someone pays, then tell them they cant fix it, which is the sole reason why we brought it in. I asked why did they wait, she said because they just found out today & agreed their the communication was poor & stated that they would give us a full refund. But, after talking to Greg, she called back and changed her whole story. At this point I am MAD. She & Greg claimed they recorded my daughters and Gregs conversion today, before she came and picked it up, which he claimed to have told her that they could not fix the reverse.I asked to listen to the recording, which they only played a small part, where he mentions the issues of the of the car and stated that hertransmission was weak causing the reverse not to work. never in that recording did he say they could not fix the reverse. Which is what they waited to tell my daughter after she paid. Also, we have a voicemail from Monday, where Greg said your car is ready and never mentions, that they couldnt fix the car.WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED IS THAT WHEN YOU REALIZED THE REVERSE COULD NOT BE FIXED, YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED HER IN AND GAVE HER A CONSULTATION ABOUT WHY AND WHAT YOU ARE CHARGING FOR & NEXT STEPS! This never happened!you claim to have recorded the conversation from Tuesday today, telling her that the reverse could not be fixed, but all you did in the recording is restate what was causing problem and failed to let us hear the full recording. The call came right before pickup. This is what you call a manipulation and refusal to own up to an error. I never done business with some who takes a car apart to fix and does not find out until the day of payment that they cant fix and still have the nerve to charge someone full price, then give only give half back when you get called out. Unprofessional and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and a host of other applicable review sitesIf this was your daughter in this situation how would feel! Moral of the story dont trust people to do the right thing!***update*** after I called & cut-up they gave us a full refund!

The service was excellent

These people went out of their way to help me get my vehicle up and running right! They were very professional and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!!I went in first with an oil leak and loud noise with wheels. They replaced the wheel bearings and it now drives fantastic. The next day I had to take it back because I had a gas leak. They did all they could to find me a gas tank reasonably priced and will have that work done soon. Next time I buy a car, you can bet I will take it to them to be checked over first!

They are hands down the best auto repair in Carrollton Ga. Experienced, knowledgable mechanics who explain the problems with the vehicle and find solutions. Great customer service . I highly recommend them for service and quality of work.

I took my husbands vehicle to be diagnosed on a Friday, and I was told that the part to fix it would be in on that Monday. That was almost 2 months ago and Im still waiting on a phone call to tell me when to bring the car in.
