Ed and his crew are great! They gave me a reasonable quote for a good deal of bodywork. Dropped the car off Thursday and it was done first thing Monday morning! No surprises - I paid exactly what was quoted. Ed is such a great guy, and I would trust him to work on any car. They even gave me a free loaner car to get me through the weekend. Saved me hundreds on a rental car alone! My car came back from Ed’s shop looking perfect. Couldn’t ask for more.

I received multiple quotes from local body shops, but decided to go with CAB, due to the owners (Ed) professionalism and personality. Ed was a very down to earth guy and walked us through the entire process. I had an insurance claim on our ’18 Honda and was very happy with the work done, that I brought my ’19 Chevrolet there a few weeks later for some out-of-pocket work that needed to be done. This is by far the best car place Ive ever been to in my entire life. Someone had hit the side of my car and I was looking for a good place to take it in. The reviews all were positive so I figured I would take a chance. First walking in, the receptionist Emily was super friendly .Upon explaining my story, Jack came out and was super friendly and walked out to go look at my car. He was very talkative and just made me feel comfortable and pointed out what he was taking pictures of and gave me a thought on how much the estimate would be. Not even 20 minutes layer, they emailed all the pictures and information and called me to find out anything else they needed. When I came back to drop my car off, the owner Ed came out, introduced himself and made it clear he would take care of my car and give me a call days prior to when it would be ready. When I came back a week later, Ed personally called me himself to tell me my car was ready. I came in to get my car and Ed brought me back to look at my car to make sure it was quality and the side of my car looked brand new, better than when I first bought it ! They cleaned the inside of my car, vacuumed the rug and made the inside look brand new and even gave a small parting gift of a magnet, kuzie, and an air freshener and bottle opener key chain. I was blown away by how amazing their service was not only with my car, but just the interaction of all the employees. And just to add a cherry on top of an amazing service, a couple days after I got my car back, they sent a letter in the mail just thanking me for using their services and let me know to come back if I ever needed anything. This is BY FAR the BEST auto place I could imagine taking my car to. This is how all businesses should be ran. If you want quality work done to your car, this is the place to go. I called the place to tell them that they never sent photos to insurance with estimate which is common sense. The receptionist took my number down said they would call me back. I called a few times later no one answered. I asked my sister to call a few seconds after me and they answered her call. So obviously they just dont want to answer the phone from my number. If you just did the estimate right the first time there wouldnt be issues. You had one job.

Best Auto Body Shop In IL!! Ed and his team do an amazing job. I destroyed my 2013 Honda Accord in a rear ending accident. I called Ed up and he sent out a tow truck to pick me up about an hour away. I was dropped off at his shop where he walked me back through the garage and showed me step by step on what he was going to do to fix my car and all the tools he would use. As I was leaving he handed me the keys to a complimentary FREE loaner car saying, Have fun! Took about 4 weeks to finish and it is perfect. There were no damage to either of the passenger or drivers doors but they repainted them anyway to make sure the hood and front matched the rest of the car. For as long as I live in IL I will be going to Community Auto! Thanks Ed!

I found Community Auto Body by luck. I had stopped by a couple other places with little to no help. When I pulled into Eds parking lot he made me feel like family right away. He explained what was wrong with my truck and what it would take to fix it. Honesty, Integrity, and above all a Great Person. Ed and his team, including the shop manager Bill and the office staff were outstanding. We found our newer car fender damaged upon returning to a parking lot. This is our only car so we needed to get it repaired quickly. Not only was the repair done beautifully but it was done almost 2 days ahead of their original estimated repair time. Ive been to a few shops in a few cities since I started and these guys are top notch honest. They will even make suggestions to you about how you might (if you are so inclined) fix it yourself or order parts for yourself to find something cheaper than what they found. You can also see in the garage that they work on all kinds of vehicles with all sorts of body/mechanical damage (like after a blizzard), and seem to make pretty quick work of most repairs. They also seem to have a lot of experience with insurance companies. I recommend them.

I was in an accident and Ed was very kind and honest with me on my options. The CAB team did an outstanding job on a front bumper repair and fixed some scratches unrelated to the accident. There was also a loaner car at no additional charge that I could use to save money on a rental car.The CAB team made me feel comfortable about my decision compared to 3 other shops I received quotes from and they worked with State Farm without issue. I have to admit, Im very happy with the work that was done. I was in an accident with no collision insurance, after explaining this to them they worked out a plan that would be cost effective and get my vehicle back up and running. Im always hesitant when it comes to repair shops as Ive been burned before. But they did a great job with all of the repairs and a more than reasonable price. It only took a week and half to get everything replaced, repaired and repainted. Not only that but they did little touch up paint on other areas of the vehicle that were starting to show rust. On top of it, they refilled my AC. Fantastic job and I highly recommend this body shop.

I was so disappointed when my practically brand new Lexus lost the front end to someone blowing a red light. I thought that the car would never be as it was before the collision. Ed worked his magic, and I got it back just like it rolled off the showroom floor. You would never know by looking at it or by driving it that the vehicle had ever been in such a nasty collision. It was PERFECT!
