I started coming here in May 2021. Mimi took care of me the first time. She is kind, thorough and did exactly what I wanted. Their pricing is so much better than other salons. It is clean, organized and the staff is always very kind.

I’ve gone to this place for years. After my nail tech there left, I decided to try going there a few more times. They treated me like they’ve never seen me before. I asked to get a dip with French tips which I’ve gotten there before and the nail techs were acting like they couldn’t do it. Instead of helping me out both of the techs decided to put me with another lady who didn’t even look at me or acknowledge that I was there. After a while, I just left. If you hate people of color just say that! They’ve definitely lost a customer.

Their tech caused an infection after a pedicure and the OWNER refused to give me a refund and only offered a free service in the future as penance.

La vie did a so-so job. I came in for a mani/pedi with my mom and we both felt somewhat rushed. I ended up choosing a gel manicure and it started chipping after just one week - I’ve never had a gel manicure chip so quickly! Pretty disappointed. It was a nice experience but I’ll choose a different salon next time.

Ive been coming here for years! I get acrylic nails with gel polish and I always get consistently great results, no matter who does my nails. Pedicures are great too! The prices are comparable to other salons Ive been to. Thanks guys!

I took my daughter to this place to get her nails done. They must not be used to Africian Americans. They made her feel very uncomfortable. They were staring and whispering the entire time she was inside. We will not be back and I suggest if you don’t like to feel uncomfortable because of your race then don’t spend your dollars here! On the positive side my daughters nails do look ok!

Terrible.. walked in at 7pm. No one in there. Doors unlocked. I was told they were closed. The sign on the door said 8:00. The open sign was lit. Online it says they close at 8. He just didnt want to bother with my fill in

Went for a deluxe pedicureWork done was shabby they barely did anything as the individual whom was taking care of me was way to busy socializing with his coworker beside me instead of paying attention to what he was doingI showed them the issue that they had pretty much just massaged and used a sponge when clearly I had rough heals and the deluxe was suppose to eliminate the matterOne positive thing is they did redo the pedicure less the massage. the individual whom had to do the work that they so clearly didnt do right the first time had a major attitude. I will definitely not be going back mostly do to the attitude that I had to deal with after clearly it wasnt my fault if more attention would have been paid to the customer maybe it would have been done correctly the first time

My experiences at La vei nail salon have been so great thanks to Hien!! She is sweet as can be, makes great conversation, and she really takes the time to make sure my nails looks great. and she made sure I am happy what I wanted to, while keeping my nail healthy. Every time I leave I have a big smile on my face and feel so confident :)

Just got back from having my first set of gel acrylic nails done that I’ve had in forever! Cici did my nails and was SO kind and did wonderful work, super quickly too! She even let my sister come and sit with us while she did my nails. Totally felt welcomed by the entire staff! I will be back!

Saturday was my first time coming here. They got me in 45 minutes after I called and checked on openings. I had Henry. He was pretty great. Did a wonderful job. Im in love with my nails 😍

The first time I went here I had an amazing nail tech. The second time was a joke. I went back to get my acrylic nails refilled with gel. She never told me it was going to be 40 dollars (the price of a gel color full set) until Im paying ...thats ridiculous to me, might as well just get a whole new full set. Then in the middle of getting the gel polish filed off my acrylics, she moves me to another tech to start working on another client! Thats very unprofessional in my opinion. The lady Im moved to then digs into my skin with the drill twice, which hurts a lot. Then doesnt even fill in my nails completely with the acrylic. Its only been 4 days since I got my nails filled and it looks like its been two weeks with how grown out they look. I have to get my nails refilled in and Im honestly just going to do it myself, it isnt rocket science. Even after the bad experience I still gave the lady a five dollar tip for her troubles, and I will not be going back. V Nails in Westfield does a much better job for much cheaper if you need another suggestion.

It was really fun, Im a Male and everyone was so very polite, no one judged me for getting my nails done. The service was very good, they made sure my other family members and I were comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

Great place to get your nails done. Take walk ins. I get the powder nails done there and they last me about 3 weeks to a month without having to do my nails again. Powder recommended for moms, medical field workers, etc... friendly staff.

Worse place to get your nails done. If i could give no stars i would. I was looking for a new place,and what a mistake this was. Ladies do NOT get your nails done here. I have seriously never had my nails look so bad in my life,in less than a week it looked like a child had done my nails. They charge you extra to shape your nails,other than the standard square and as well for certain colors. You are throwing your money away,by going here.

I love La Vie. I have been going there for about a year for pedicures and eyebrow waxes. Yesterday I went and got acrylics for the first time and I had a younger gentleman who did an outstanding job. He was very patient and kind. There are a couple really awesome techs at La Vie. Despite there being a couple bad apples it’s a great salon.

They make you use their atm to tip if you dont have cash. We did 3 gel manicures. 2 out of 3 were not good. My nails arent even all the same length but Id stopped her from doing strange things 3 times already and didnt have the heart to stop her again. Im sad. I used to like it there.

For pedicures:Very nice people- do not pressure you for things you don’t want or need 🙂I’m very ticklish and the are patient!! Recommend for pedicures!

I always enjoy coming here. They have a great selection of colors! My fill will last me three weeks! It’s always enough staff so there isn’t a long wait. I would reccomdend this nail salon to anyone!

Lee does my lashes and she does such an amazing job! I wouldn’t go anywhere other than here to get it done! Excellent work and she takes her time and not rush through it.

The first couple times that I went to this store the product and service was great. Unfortunetly I have had issues with this salon the last 4 times Ive went. They do not go by the prices on the website. They ripped off my acrylics and still charged me $10 for the removal fee. After they ripped my nails off the lady applied gel polish which didnt even last more than 2 days due to destroying my nails by ripping off the acrylic. I recommended this salon to a friend and the lady didnt even ask her what gel color she wanted; instead chose one for her. While I was getting my nails done on 06Jul2017 a customer walked in for her eyelash extension appointment and they sent her to another store. This establishment is very unprofessional. One of the nail stylist working was asking me questions about my political opinions which made me feel very uncomfortable. This establishment is absolute garbage and I will be reporting them to the BBB.

Sanitary environment, the prices are fair, atmosphere is relaxing and the service is outstanding. I dont regret coming here to get my pedicure done. The lady working on me did a really lovely job on my toe nails. Each one look so exquisite!

This is the best of the best in the Carmel/Westfield area. Great prices and even better people. I’m a regular and they always accommodate my schedule and it’s never hard to get in on a walk in basis. They even serve wine!!!

I am pleased every time i come. they are kind and satisfy my needs. they know how to do designs from flowers to pineapples to trees on your nails. 10/10

I had the deluxe pedicure which was on special for $35. The man doing my pedicure took his time to give me a wonderful massage on my calfs and feet. He made sure I liked my color before continuing, and even allowed me (since they werent busy) to sit in the massage chair while I waited on my toes to dry. They were not pushy for other services and I cannot wait to return!

Not probable. They just operate to get you in and out. Prices are reasonable. I went there because there was a special but I have never returned. Facilities are clean and well kept.

Came in for the delux pedicure special. The nail tech asked would you like the gel polish instead of the regular? It will last for about 2 months! So I said agreed. Then when I went to pay my pedicure went from $35 to $53! The woman didnt bother to tell me it was an $18 up charge for the gel polish! Will never go back again. I feel very taken advantage of and will never recommend this place to anyone! How dare you take advantage of people that way!

If I could Id give this place 0 stars. They were rushing me to make a choice on the color. She did not properly clean my nails. She didnt apply the nails properly, I need a fill in and I just got my nails done 5 minutes ago. Then shell add extra costs thats not on their menu without telling you. Very disrespectful would talk with her coworker who was sitting around doing nothing and wouldnt acknowledge us. She didnt even ask what shape I wanted my nails. She was in a hurry and just wanted me out of there. So I go to pay, and she tells me my total and its 5$ above what it should be. I ask for an explanation since on the paper it says 35$. She tells us that we got the gel which would be an extra 5$ for the gel set. Which makes no sense since if Im getting a gel full set, it SHOULD BE INCLUDED! Then she started saying color was an extra 5$ as well. After she started yelling at me and asking me if I could read. Which again, made no sense because on the paper it contratidicted what she said. She then got her other coworker to try and help but she ended up being wrong and yelling at us more. If you want to get your nails done, do not come to this place. I repeat, DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL TELL YOU, YOU CANT READ AND WILL NOT DO A GOOD JOB.

This place totally sucks not only does their customer service suck we signed in was told to wait 30 minutes come back and they tell us they can not do our nails they have no true experience when it comes to doing designs on nails if you want basic this is the place to be the receptionist was very friendly and try to help as much as she could the only reason why I marked one star is because theres no 0 stars we called ahead of time and they told us 24 but in fact it was 30 we dont recommend it. Go to Carmel nails short wait did everything my mother wanted to the T and great prices

I went here for a set of eyelashes purchased on Groupon. The lack of hygiene was appalling and I had to request that the technician wash her hands. The first thing she wanted was more money for upgraded lashes. The lashes she applied were cheap and ugly. In addition, I didn’t notice until I arrived home that I had several drops of dried black glue on my face that she did not bother to remove. I removed the lashes immediately. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Thoroughly disappointed in the service I received. The technician felt very rushed and haphazardly filed my nails so poorly that one of them was broken on the tip. Luckily I saw it before she applied gel polish so she could file it down smooth. No prep was applied prior to applying the base coat and no alcohol was used to remove the residue after the top coat. No cuticle oil and a 10 second hand massage completed the less than 20 minute process. Didnt feel (and doesnt look) like a $35 gel manicure.

It is a beautiful salon. Staff is friendly. Ive been going to get my eyebrows waxed for a few months here and today is the last time Ill be going. For starters the was wax extremely hot when applied. This is the second time they get a lot of wax on my hair no apology, no discount they dont tell me or attempt to get it off. My eyebrows where done completely uneven this time. The lady wanted me to pay her in the waxing room and not up front at the service desk and let them know that she just did my eyebrows which was not true. Found it odd but its none of my buisness. Every time I go they let me know too much hair on my eyebrows (obviously this is why I come here)

Awful place, do not waste your time. Quickest mani pedi I have ever gotten. I could have shaped my nails better than she did. She checked my toes after we were done and said they were fine to put my shoes on...I should have listened to my instincts and not to her. (This isnt my first rodeo at a nail salon, I just moved from Chicago where I went biweekly) Took off my shoes to find my toe nails are ruined. She didnt even use new instruments come to think of it! Pulled out one and it had stuff on it so grabbed another and she proceeded to wipe it off and use it. Pay more for better service somewhere else!!! I wont be going back!

I tried this place despite another bad review. Gave it a shot. Hoped that whoever wrote that was in a bad mood that day... Dont go here. Please go anywhere else. I just went home and took my polish of and redid it myself. My lady was rough and the other one put another clients dirty water and instruments by me. Gross! Licenses were expired. Staff was rude and pushy. Asked for payment and tip before they started my manicure. Enter at your own risk!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. First, we waited way too long to get a manicure. Second, when we finally were seated the nail techs rushed so quickly through the process! I felt completely like a piece of cattle being rushed through the gate! Even the tech working on my nails said that the owner tells them to hurry and if they arent fast enough they will be fired. My tech didnt even put two coats of polish on and the top coat only on brush stroke and left the sides of each nail unprotected! Then she hurriedly sat me down by the nail dryer and didnt even turn it on and when i attempted to it was unplugged! I tried to motion to her/talk to her but she was so busy hustling the next client she never gave me another look - luckily another tech saw what was going on and had me sit under a working drying! It was very dirty - nails, skin, etc. were left on the tables, under the dryers.... JUST ICK! I paid them the requested money and left a good tip even though I regret that now! I rate this place and F-

I got eyelash extensions there about a week ago and the lady did an awful job, it was a painful experience just for my eyes to look clumpy from the black glue and theyre already falling out! Definitely not a good place to go if you want nice eye lash extensions. Sloppy sloppy work.

They did a horrible job on my nails. The polish was bubbled in several areas on my nails and the polish even turned into a really weird color. You can see from the pictures. I went in to ask for at least a partial refund and they refused. I wont be going back.

Took my two daughters for pedi and manis. I called ahead to make sure they had time / availability. Three ladies took care of us. Not once did they speak English. Not once did they say anything to make us feel comfortable. They spoke in their native language the entire hour that we were there. Customer service should be their #1 goal. Once I paid, nobody spoke to us or made sure we were dry and ready to go. This is a luxury for us, we will not be spending my hard earned money here again.

My nails look awesome

My wife was there recently. The deluxe pedicure was over in less than 15 minutes. The results were good, but a pedi is supposed to be an enjoyable, pampering experience. She wont be back.

The first time I went here to get a gel mani the tech was not friendly, she did not do a good job on the polish, nor did I get the hand massage. My nails were chipping and peeling by day 3. I went back to get them fixed and for some reason they gave me the same lady! So of course she was mad. She was saying something in her language the whole time she was doing my nails!(probably cussing me!out) so rude! Also, she was doing a pedicure and going back and forth between us!So when she was doing my nails she glopped on the paint making the paint bubbly not smooth! (I took pictures) so now my nails will probably be messed up once this gel is taken off bc it is so thick and crappy!If you choose to go here I pray you do not get this lady(she is in her 50s)

They charge extra if you want a set any longer than your nail or if if you get them shaped. $50 for a full coffin set with gel nail polish. I go back to get a fill in and the lady wants to charge me $40 for just a fill in and after I told her that was ridiculous she got extremely spiteful and hateful. She wouldn’t even turn the driers on for me, mind you I had wet finger nails. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Won’t ever be going back, way over priced for not even that great quality of nails

I had a full set of nails done by Amy. They have lasted alost a month still look great no fill needed just yet! My hands are constantly in water and they held up. Using professional CND product. I was very happy!

Ive gone here twice and both times my experience was subpar. The first time I got my eyebrows waxed and I felt like the lady doing them wasnt being especially careful and one of them turned out a little bit thicker than the other. Not a huge deal but it felt like a rushed job. The second time I got a pedicure and the entire time I felt very uncomfortable. The lady doing my toenails seemed annoyed and was borderline rude. My toenails did turn out nice but after she was done she told me to wait in the chair and I can only assume she completely forgot about me while she worked on the next guest because I got tired of waiting for her to come back and got up and waited for her to notice me at the counter. Also she painted my fingernails and filed them so roughly that 3 or 4 of them broke within the next couple days. I think a lot of their employees seemed nicer and more careful than mine but I dont think Ill be going back.

Omg I have to say I am very pleased with La Vie Nails! I dont understand how the reviews could be so poor on Yelp. I went earlier this afternoon, so it wasnt busy. I was greeted by a friendly tech who helped me decide on a mood polish and there was a nice selection of nail polish to choose from. The atmosphere was calm and the salon was clean with plenty of booths and chairs. The staff were pretty quite but seemed welcoming. My manicure and pedicure was done by tommy. He took his time and he was precise. I spent a little more than I thought I would but its not over priced. I felt bad I couldnt leave a tip because I didnt have cash so I will remember that for next time, I know I will be coming back.

They do a terrible job at every location. It’s ridiculous especially since they claim to be able to do all types of nail shapes then charge you extra and don’t even do the shape right. They don’t clean up your nails at all, they leave excess acrylic behind your nails in by your cuticles it’s just terrible service. Then wanna charge u and have the nerve to be like ur tip gonna be cash or card. 😂 what tip exactly are you referring to because ur lucky I’m paying for the nails at all let alone give u a tip. I’m very picky! If I’m paying you $45-$50 to give me long coffin shape/stiletto shape nails with gel polish on top of it. I expect to get my moneys worth not to act like I just paid $20 for what I got when you overcharged me. But I now get my nails done and Inails in Noblesville off of 37 and Cumberland Road asked for Duke he does a fabulous job doesn’t complain gives you exactly what you asked for and the shape is impeccable. They make you feel at home there.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews because my family and I always have an amazing experience here! We have gotten manis, pedis, waxing, lash extensions, and microblading/powder/ombre brows. They always take their time and make sure their work is perfect.

They do a great job on nails/toes, but unsure about the cleanliness. They now use liners in the tubs (who knows how often they are changed), but the man doing my pedi was carefully drying & slowly removing his gloves for what appeared to be re-use after my pedi. I did not notice if the gloves were used prior to me as I was choising my color.After the pedi, he transferred the tools used on my toes to use on my fingernails. I saw the nail clippings still on the tools..hopefully they were mine...ugh.The uv sterilizing chambers for tools had trays stacked in them. Not sure if the ones under the first layer were actually being sterilized. Lastly, he put used toe speaders and flip flops on me from inside the drawer. No plasic was around them, as in clean salons. I didnt say anything, but definitely came home & sterilized my feet. If you dont care about sanitary, they do a good job.

This place is awful. Spend your money elsewhere. The staff is pushy and dont do what you ask them to then charge unreasonably. My little sister wanted a gel manicure and they gave her a polish change, but charged me a manicure price. I asked for my acrylics to be taken off and then a manicure, I got my nails soaked off and then left dry and unkept. I paid $50 for that...ridiculous. I hope this place goes out of business.

Worst service ever, called to check if they can fix my broken tip. Said ‘yes’ on phone, went in next day, I was told they can fix it. Waited twenty mins but when my turn came they started forcing me to get complete set again and said they can’t fix it now.

Horrible experience went to get a medi/pedi with friends who came in from out of time. I called and made an appointment. When I came to the shop the lady acted as if she did not what I was talking about and preceded to help the customer behind me. Very rude place I will never go back.

Ok nail store but the receptionist just quit and the Vietnamese staff who work there have really bad customer service skills. An older male did my pink and white and when I tried to have a conversation with him he was mute. I said I saw a beautiful underground cave on TV. Vietnam is a beautiful place. He said, I dont know anything about Vietnam. I said, are you from Vietnam and he said yes. Maybe I caught him on a bad day. Then I had to wait over 30 minutes to get my pedicure started as my tech left to take care of a group who just came in. I understand they dont want to lose business but first come first serve is how I like to be treated as a customer. Later I asked if she could turn the TV on and she said ok but didnt bother to do it. They should get the receptionist back as she had great people skills! Needless to say on this visit I didnt leave a tip.

So I went into this nail salon expecting basic acrylics and I came out with awful nails. The acrylic doesn’t go all the way to the back of my nail. I got them done a week ago and I already need a fill. And when she went to cut the plastic nail she cut it down with scissors which I found scary as I thought she was gonna take the tip of my finger off.

I got a gel manicure 5 days ago and it is already peeling. Service was quick and uncomfortable. Not a good value for the money. Very dissatisfied will not be back.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! To say I am unimpressed would be a huge understatement. I went here over a year ago and had a horrible experience but thats another long story. I went today thinking I would give this place another shot. After getting a deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure I left the salon in about 45 short minutes, paid $66 and have to go home to put Neosporin on my gash/cut on the side of my foot and attempt to file down my rough callus still left behind on my heels. Needless to say I will NEVER be going back here and will tell everyone I come in contact with not to go here as well.

I hate this place! They are horrible with how they treat their clients AND they rush your services. They did a fill on my nails, they didnt manicure my cuticles at all. & put gel on top ( I didnt request) to get me out quicker and not have to sit and wait to dry (which was totally cool) BUT they didnt use the base coat which is what seals the gel on so it wont peel off. I Went to have the ones that peeled fixed and they were rude and I asked for a color change and they told me NO! Lol this place is a joke!!!!
