Alex is absolutely phenomenal! Took him my state of the art gaming computer that had literally JUST gone past its warranty and then died, hoping for the best. Initial news was power supply however when that was changed out, it still wouldnt work, leading to the possibility of a short circuited system. I was crushed, and believed it beyond repair. Although I had given up on it, Alex didnt, and was able to completely repair it and return it as good as new at a price that I couldnt believe. I went to Alexs shop after a terrible experience with the Geek Squad. The Geek Squad had my computer for 4 weeks and then they told me they couldnt fix it. They wanted to keep my $84 down payment, but I managed to get it back. All the 5 star reviews about Alex brought me to his shop. Alex was great. The part we needed was very difficult to find. He went on eBay and other sources to find it. He finally found the part online and ordered it. When it came in, he realized it was not the part that was described online. He managed to find another source and cut his labor cost in half due to the extended time the deliveries were taking. The repair was perfect and the laptop is working great. Alex also told me about some Windows updates I needed to do and some hardware updates with HP. Alex was always very professional and informative and polite through the whole process. I appreciate his great customer service. His shop seems a little disorganized on the surface but dont judge a book by its cover! Alex does a great job. I highly recommend him.

I brought in an office computer that was scrubbed before sale. Alex advised of the cost for the diagnostic up front, if repairs were accepted that cost would go toward the total repair cost. A new hard drive was needed since the former IT department damaged the old hard drive when it was scrubbed. Windows Professional 10 was also installed along with the new hard drive. Total cost was $220 for my repairs, a sound value since it was less than the cost of the computer.

How did I just find this amazing man?I took my laptop to my usual repair place, CPR Repair, only to be told they do not have a computer technician anymore. He has fixed crashed hard drives (with excellent data recovery), broken batteries, and other issues with at least 4 different computers from our household. Seriously, this is the place to go if your computer (any brand) has an issue.2018I was looking for a new locally owned place to get computer work done and I was thrilled I found IndyComp. Alex is very friendly and easy to work with. I had a desktop that was a mess and he got it all cleaned up and updated and now it works like a dream. I also had an external drive that was not functioning and he helped get me directed to a couple options. It was really a great experience. The price was quoted up front before anything was done and is what I expected. No hidden costs. It was done quickly as well. Also, it is now a week or so later and as promised, Alex called to follow up and make sure everything was working. I will be a customer here for all my computer needs now.

Alex provided me with lots of help and tons of information, I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of computer help or repair! I had a problem with my laptops power supply not charging the laptop and so I took it to Alex and he figured out the problem. He told me exactly how it worked and how he was going to go about testing the cord to see if that was the problem. Discovered it was in fact the power supply and sold me a new one he had on hand.
