Kyle was responsive and attentive to my questions, creative in how to solve challenges. There seemed to be a few communication challenges between the initial design team and project lead (keeping our sink), and I would have appreciated being involved in the selection of the replacement sink. Time from deposit to completion was longer than I would’ve hoped, but everything looks great now. I know that contractor availability is challenging right now, Kyle was personally building the shelves in addition to manages several jobs so I understand timing challenges. Overall, I would definitely use Chateau again! We love our gorgeous bar area now!

We had another home project going on at the same time, and Chateau worked with the other company to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were extremely proactive when challenges arose. We worked with Chateau on a full remodel of our kitchen, powder bath, laundry/mudroom. The project also included removing several walls and the replacement of all flooring on the first floor of our home. It was a huge project, but they finished beautifully on time and on budget. Their team—particularly our Project Manager, Paul—did whatever it took to make sure we were pleased with their work during the process and with the end product. I was particularly impressed with how well they cleaned up after themselves every single day to make sure our experience living in our home through the major remodel was as disruptive as possible. Due to the new pandemic, we decided to delay starting the project. When we were ready to start back in again, Chateau quickly got the project on their schedule and finished in 7 weeks. Our designer accompanied us on every trip to pick out materials, providing guidance at every step. Our project manager was at our house almost every day during the entire project, answered our many questions, also providing expertise and making changes on the fly when we asked for them--all with a smile on his face. We wouldnt hesitate to use Chateau for another project!

I just completed my fourth project with Chateau Kitchens. To date, they have completely remodeled my kitchen, basement, laundry room and installed new bookcases in my living and family rooms. Their work is impeccable! I have had the same project manager on all four jobs, Ryan Thetford. He and my designer, Holly, are a joy to work with! They will not “close the books” on a project until every tiny detail is perfect! As I said in a previous review, four years ago, when they are finished with a job, I feel as if I’m saying goodbye to good friends. My cabinets are beautiful. When it came time for the short punch list of adjustments to be done, I received outstanding service from them. They were on time and very professional. Id give them 6 stars if it were possible.

We wanted to have our master bathroom remodeled and Chateau came highly recommended. I decided to use them not because they were the least expensive option, but because I could tell from the first interaction and home visit they were more professional and organized than the others. Im glad I chose them because they impressed me from start to finish and we love our new bathroom space. Tom was my design coordinator and Ryan was our project manager. I felt comfortable with all of the subcontractors and could tell they were all highly experienced, professional, and always showed up on time and finished on time. They were also more than willing to take on a few adhoc small jobs while they were on site. Tom never made me feel bad for trying to save some costs here and there where I could and offered insightful feedback. Ryan is a born project manager, I observed him treat me and all the others on site with respect and he kept me well informed all the way through. He was the last one out the door at the end of the project and personally cleaned up the site while making sure I was satisfied. Hes not against getting his hands dirty and jumping in to help when needed. What could have been a nightmare was a pleasant experience and I cant wait until we have enough saved up to tackle the kitchen. THANKS!!

We cant say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Chateau Kitchens for our kitchen remodel. Laura Bradley, our designer, was fabulous! She was always available to answer questions, pick out tile, cabinets, paint colors, and anything else we needed. We couldnt have done this project without her. Our project manager, Kyle, was outstanding! He answered all of our questions (and there were a lot of them!) and was on top of scheduling the plumber, the electrician, the painters, the floor guys, and anyone else that was needed to seamlessly complete the project. During this year of COVID, this was a bright spot in our year.

We used Chateau to do a master bathroom and laundry remodel. Holly the designer was my speed - not trying to sell me on anything, allowed me room to be picky on some things, and then would pick things out for me when I didnt have a strong opinion. She had great ideas in designing a more modern bathroom, as well as the L-shape laundry room I wanted! As for the construction, I cant imagine its ever perfect with the noise and the mess, but Kyle and Todd were very considerate in terms of cleaning up every night, never slamming doors, and protecting the areas not being constructed. The work was well-done, well-crafted, and we made some pivots based on their expertise (hello, slightly slanted laundry room ceiling!). All very nice individuals too. Highly recommend, and will use again!

Holly helped us hurdle some big challenges and never ran out of patience when I took time to make decisions. She took our widely divergent ideas and some antique family pieces and designed a beautiful, efficient kitchen and a classic spa-like bath. LOOK NO FURTHER! I have too many good things to say about this company and their people/workmanship, that Google may limit the amount of writing I do here.First off, this ENTIRE process was seamless, and considering the scope of work we were looking to have done, was painless for us living in the home during the project.It all started with Designer Holly, and even the owner, Bob! They came to my house when I was looking around at different companies to have work done. We wanted to re-floor the ENTIRE first floor of our home; which included ripping up carpet in 3 rooms, which would then have to be leveled to match the rooms with hard wood, and then put down luxury planks throughout.Holly and Bob came by, and could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. Even my 3 year old took to them as if they were members of the family. After doing some measurements and discussing what my wife and I were looking for, they took it back to the office, and within a week, had us in to look at a beautifully crafted design by Holly. Even after exploring several other places/ideas/companies, we absolutely were choosing Chateau.Work started on the day of our choosing (fast forward past the several visits to the shop to pick out materials, colors, look, etc.. which was also easy and fun). Demo day was BREEZE! Our project manager was Paul.. What a guy! Paul became one of the family instantly, always going out of his way to make sure he was arriving/working during times of day that worked for a night shift worker in the house. He played with my dog and carried on conversations with my toddler as if he was Uncle Paul.Not a day went by during the project that I didnt have a call or text from Paul letting me know what was going on, what was next, and a timeline.The final product, was BEYOND what we expected. Even with a few 3rd party trades coming in, we didnt have a single bad experience with people, material, timing, work ethic, or workmanship. An entire level of the house refloored, cabinets, hardware, countertops, new recessed lighting, under lighting, walls removed, pendant lights... An A+++ final product.If I could give this company, Holly, Paul, and the other workers that were involved 10 stars... Id give them 20!Trust Chateau with your project, no matter how big or small... You will NOT be disappointed!

Chateau Kitchens recently helped us remodel our kitchen that was stuck in the 90s. We wanted a company that would team with us so that we could do some of the work ourselves. They gave us plenty of options and did a beautiful job. Chelsea, our designer, was very creative, professional, and easy to work with. She listened to our ideas, designed with our preferences in mind, yet always considered our budget. We are extremely pleased with the results!

Chateau Kitchens is great, if you are Ok with 300% mark-ups on standard products. I shopped for many of the pieces of the kitchen on my own at Chateaus preferred suppliers. (Found out later, I could have bought the same product at Lowe’s - at 1/3 the price). Since Chateau collects your allowance $, they pay for your products, you pay their markup. I recognize Chateau needs to make money, and am comfortable with markup, however; their markups are excessive and they do not provide much, if any, added value. They MIGHT go shopping with you, if it fits the designers very busy schedule. I heard excuses such as, “not available, I need to go grocery shopping”, “I need to pick up my grandkids”, “ I would like to do my volunteer work on the weekends” etc... What is this mark up for, if I am doing all the work?And if you ask for more than 1 drawing.. as you make reconfiguration changes, be prepared for an argument. When I asked to draw up the kitchen with a different configuration, I was told that I was wasting the drafting dept. time. With a 50K quote, I didn’t think it was a huge ask.I also feel unethical business practices are common. I was quoted $300 by Chateau for a small piece of granite scrap. I declined. When granite installers were on site, they offered any straps I wanted, they were taking them to the dumpster anyway. Not a feel good moment.I have a laundry list of other bad experiences, but in summary. I don’t recommend Chateau Kitchens. The one positive I will offer: the carpenters were top notch. The ONLY reason I allowed Chateau to finish the job.

Chateau Kitchens & Home Remodeling deserves the highest marks in design excellence, professionalism and focus on the customer. While the before and after pictures clearly show the fantastic transformation of our kitchen remodel, they do fail to tell the full story.We knew right away that Chateau was the right choice to lead our project after meeting Bob and Victoria on the initial design consult. While our budget target was certainly on the lower end of the price scale for a design/remodeling company and we were firm on doing a lot of the work ourselves, we received the same top notch service you would expect for a $$$ project. Throughout, we were impressed with the attention to detail and innovation Victoria put in her design, the expert craftsmanship Chris provided when installing the cabinets and the responsiveness and good communication with Paul, who oversaw the project, not only with us as the customer but also as our representative towards the cabinet and countertop makers. Additionally, Chris and Paul never seemed to mind our childrens helpfulness and inquisitiveness. If they ever wanted to change professions we wouldnt hesitate to hire them as a babysitter ;-) We are very comfortable recommending Chateau Kitchens & Home Remodeling to our friends and family and if we ever embark on another major remodeling project, Bobs team will be our choice.

Bottom line: a kitchen remodel is gonna be stressful. So you absolutely need a company that offers the best products and service. Our designer Tom listened carefully to us, asked questions, provided honest feedback, and patiently tweaked each draft until we came up with the perfect design. And he didnt disappear after the order was placed--he provided timely updates, helped us select hardware and address other issues that came up, and was a constant presence during the entire process.We chose to use Chateaus personnel to coordinate our entire remodel. Based on a previous shaky experience, we knew firsthand the nightmares of a flailing remodel. Our project manager Paul was amazing. Drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinet install, countertop install, tile install...thats a LOT to coordinate. (Paul also helped Habitat for Humanity load their truck with old cabinets, appliances, and some furniture--very kind, caring people at Chateau.) 5-star from start to finish.A kitchen remodel is a major financial and, yes, emotional commitment. Chateau was with us every step of the way, including input/recommendations on remodeling the room adjoining the kitchen. Theres a reason we chose Chateau from the pool of estimates we received: we wanted to finish our remodel with not only the perfect kitchen but also a fulfilling experience. And thats just what happened.
