Outstanding experience start to finish. Weve wanted to get new windows in our home for many years, but just never got around to it. US Window & Door did an amazing job. We left for vacation, and came home to new windows and what felt like a new home. I highly recommend.

If one could love a window, I love these. I Replaced every window in the house, 15 windows and 1 sliding glass door with Milgarde. The originals were 25 year old aluminum clad, builder grade windows. Hard to open, leaked air and gave zero noise protection. US Window & Door worked extremely with the covid-19 restrictions and finished the entire house (2 story) in two days because inclement weather was to start on day three. THEY DID IT! I was initially skeptical, but they made it happen. Upon final inspection by the lead installer, he pointed out two rather minor defects and told me that they would be replaced with new units. That too was done in a timely manor. I now have extremely easy to open, insulated (Spray foam insulation), and QUIET windows. I would estimate approx. a 90% reduction in noise.I thank everyone involved in my installation process, start to finish.DW

US W and D installed a new glass sliding patio door. Looks great. Opens and closes much better than our old door that was replaced. The workers did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Stacy working from the office and Will leading the installation team, Very Professional and seamless. I would certainly use them for future projects, and strongly recommend them. We live in an HOA community which adds extra complexity to the project, they handled it very smoothly. I quoted another supplier, and it was a nightmare to just get the quote. Managing both the windows and the installation turned out to be a big win.

Started getting spammed by these people on Valentines Day, out of the blue. Never doing any business with them before.I hit the unsubscribe button only be taken to a page filled with gibberish asking for more details in terms of getting a name and additional contact information on top of the email address I wanted to remove.That tells me that this company has a problem. Whether its how they handle their web or the whole company, it is very unappealing.This is a classic violation of the can-spam act, any business in the year 2020 still doing that kind of stuff shouldnt be doing business.

We chose US Window over a competing provider due to their professionalism, willing to work with us and their pricing. Installers arrived promptly & did an excellent job. This is the second time using Milgard products and we are very happy with them.

It is beyond me how this company is still in business!They replaced 15+ windows (retrofit) at our house a few years ago and we had nothing but problems. Most of us unsuspecting consumers do not, and should not have to, know the proper installation procedure of windows. These guys cut all sorts of corners to save a couple of bucks. removing an old window and slapping a new one in with a light bead of caulking IS NOT proper installation. Improperly installed windows and doors can cause major damage to building framing which does not show until years later. Air leaks and insects get through all the gaps they leave behind. Martin, owner, acts like a bully if you ever criticize his work. They caused us a great deal of headache at a time when we least needed during a major remodel. PLEASE be cautious dealing with this company. 5-star reviews can unfortunately be manipulated on the net, do not be fooled like we were.

Live in a mobile home front room was always cold and noisy when the planes fly over, so we had US Windows & Doors replace our windows now the house is warm, quiet and beautiful looking they really do good work they really take their time and make sure everythings right I highly recommend them. Great people very friendly.

I received fantastic service from beginning to end and couldn’t be happier with the product. I had 4 windows and a sliding door installed. The workers were professional, arrived when they said they would, knew what they were doing, completed the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up when they were done. Tim returned to my home to inspect the work and make sure it met their standards. He answered all my questions and he explained how to maintain the door and windows. He found a problem with a wheel in the screen and ordered a new screen for me. They clearly take pride in their work. The windows and door look fantastic and open very easily. They keep my home significantly cooler, even in the intense Southern California summer heat. I live near a busy street and with the windows closed, my home is so much quieter. My only regret is that I didn’t get the windows sooner. I would definitely recommend US Window & Door to a friend!

Very good experience. They were professional all around, and the results were outstanding.They came out and provided an estimate within a week. The guy was right on time (the top end of the time window), and with minimal fuss and no upselling went to work measuring the windows. The price was slightly more than a few other places, but because of the politeness and professionalism of our first encounter, we decided to go with them.We had to wait perhaps a month or two for the actual work to begin. Again, the workers were right on time and incredibly polite and professional. It took them about 4-5 hours to remove/install three huge picture windows. No other repairs were needed (such as painting or stucco work), so our timeframe is probably best case.We have plants surrounding the area where the windows were installed, and only one was a bit mushed. Better outcome than I thought. I found a few bits of old framing and drops of silicon, but all in all, they cleaned up the area better than most contractors. Im very happy with the results and would use them again.

We replaced the last single pane window in our house before the heat waves and it makes a huge difference! We replaced the windows in a 1 BR condo rental. It had the original single pain windows. We received quotes from other companies, as well, but US Window and Door was more detailed in the quote they gave. They also were very thorough with providing information about the materials used and e-mailed brochures and purchase options. We checked the work they did at another unit in our complex. We loved what we saw and the owner raved about the company and said he would use them again. Martin was fast and efficient with measuring and did a follow-up inspection after the work was completed. The three men who installed the windows were very polite, skilled, courteous and efficient. They removed the window blinds and replaced them when they were done, placed floor protectors for the carpet and were attentive to detail. One of the installers had to work outside the unit which is on the 3rd floor and was very skilled at navigating the ladder. The windows are not only beautiful, but it was amazing when we closed the window and the street noise was immediately cut out. We are now contemplating getting new windows for our house. I did half of my windows 9 months ago with US Window & Door. I was so happy with the service and product that i completed the rest of my windows and door, using US Window & Door again. The house stays much cooler in the warm weather and I have not used my air conditioning in months. Once again the office and installers treated me great. Amazing. Martin and his team have earned the highest possible praise from me. Heres why: Its tough enough to find people who do what theyre paid for. Its almost impossible to find people who do the right thing no matter what -- even if it costs them money. In my situation, Martin knew more about the construction inside the walls of my house (hidden behind the walls) than the city architect with the house plans. Even though the permit for construction was approved, Martin took it upon himself to investigate it further and ultimately saved me a heck of a lot of money and trouble.

We had 7 windows and 2 sliding glass doors replaced. The office staff was very helpful during the whole process. The doors and windows were delivered as promised and the installers were great. They cleaned up when the job was complete and put any furniture that was moved back. There was a minor problem with the manufacturers screens and it was resolved in a timely fashion. The owner of the company came out after the work was completed to inspect the job. I am extremely pleased with the whole experience. We live in an 80 yr old house that we are in the middle of renovating. We are doing most of it ourselves. US Window and Door has been there for us with all our Milgard window needs. We have 4 windows of an odd size we had them make for us, then we installed them ourselves. Then we had them do 5 other windows and had them come and install them. Each time they were very expedient with the work, extremely helpful with all our questions, patient, courteous, and professional. They are always available and always show up when they say they will. We have one more room to go and when the need arises again, we will definitely be calling on US Window and Door to help us out.

I have 9 Milgard windows that were installed 20 years ago by another large local window installer hired by the previous home owner. One of the windows needed to be replaced as it had badly warped and was fogged up. I called the original installers to come give me an estimate to replace the window. This is a 3 X 9 dual sliding window. When their estimator removed the trim, it immediately became obvious that this was a very bad installation. The window was at least one inch too small in both directions for the window frame, and poorly sealed, letting moisture and air into the house and surrounding wood work. Since I was not the original purchaser, that company would not cover the workmanship or the window. I have long suspected that none of the windows were properly installed. However, that company took 3 weeks to give me a quote of $1470 to replace the window. I then called US Window & Door. I told them that I had some unique concerns about the window jam due to this bad install. So, they didnt just send an estimator out to look at the situation, they sent Martin Whitmore, the owner of US Window, to assess the situation. Martin calmed my worries and quoted me $800 installed, for the exact same window (same brand, model and style) that the other company wanted $1470. That is nearly $700 dollars less.The installers were great! Friendly, neat, fast and expert in the install. I watched them and the head installer explained every step as they went along. The new window is a tight, snug fit. A week later, Martin came back out to check the work himself. Perfect install, perfect finish, perfect price and perfectly happy. Thank you, US Window and Door.

Ive replaced windows before and I wanted to give Milgard the chance to become a repeat performer. Glad I did. The quote was not only competitive but thoroughly professional. My homeowner association (had to run paperwork and insurance through the HOA for a condo) said it was the first time a proposal for window replacement had gone through and signed off on the first try. The proposal had the detail and the office staff made sure I had everything I needed to get it through my process. I was kept in the loop as my order became available and then ready for installation. And the installers were super AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES, and you just cant get better than that.

07/07/2016 I purchased 5 windows/doors from US Windows & Doors years ago for my home, they were dual pane glass. I paid almost $5K for them but because the salesman promised a lifetime warranty I thought it was well worth the investment. Service people who installed them damaged both drywall & stucco and with winter rains leaked thru the caulking. I called them to ask that for repairs and got the total runaround!I wrote the owner, threatened to report them to BBB, and finally after weeks later they came out and serviced them.Now, after only 10 yrs later, one of the windows fogged and Im running into the same situation. If you insist on purchasing from them get the warranty IN WRITING from owner Martin Whitmore or they will give you the runaround as well!!!

We love the new windows and door and how the installation was done in our house. They make a tremendous difference to noise levels and temperature throughout the house. We have owned 2 units at the San Diego Uptown District Condominium Complex and have used US Window & Door to replace the old windows (over 25 years old) with new Milgard replacement windows. Matin and his crew did an outstanding job with meticulous attention to detail, cleanliness, respect for community property, and safety awareness. The old windows in this complex are all single pane - they have outlived their useful life, provide little or no energy efficiency, do not assist in providing for noise abatement, and aesthetically are very unattractive. The cost of the replacement windows, at least for us, was easily recouped on resale. Although it was never an issue for me personally, some people perceived that living in close proximity to the shopping district was too noisy, Once the replacement windows were installed, any external noises were essentially eliminated or muffled to a level that was barely audible. When it came to resale what was once an obstacle was now totally eliminated and, with the new windows, it actually became an attractive feature. The condo sold for almost full price and in about 30 days. Since Milgard and US Windows have been designated an approved supplier for the HOA, this was an easy choice. The cost comparatively to its value is compelling. This is especially true for anyone who may happen to have a unit that faces Washington Street. I have been in those units before and the units with the original windows seem to have no sound barrier from the busy Washington Street. It sounds like a freight train 24/7/365. Those with the new windows are provided with the added value of reducing the interior sound by several fold. Enjoy your property while living there and you will likely recoup the cost of the improvement when you sell.
