If I could only give them a negative star review I would. Only gave them 1 star, because I had to. They sent me a bill 16 months after date of service. Claimed they tried to bill my insurance but was not covered. Then claimed that they had delay sending it to me due to computer system problems. Asked to provide me details on how long they can legally send me this bill and since I only wore brace for 3-5 days and is in excellent condition, can I send it back. NO ONE EVER called me back. Called them back and asked them to send claim to new insurance since was transitioned to new company shortly after date of service. They were reluctant to email claim to new insurance and cc me to ensure this would be done in timely manner. After long hold and pushing, they agreed but still waiting on the email. NEVER have seen a provider do such poor business.
Over priced and failed to bill insurance correctly. To top it off, they never sent a bill, so sent my balance to a collections agency. Had you billed correctly to begin with there would be no balance.
If there is a negative -5 star I would have given them this I got a custom Breg knee brace from my doctor and it will not stay on my lag it slids right off I think me and my insurance paid $1500 for it because I paid $350 out of pocket and my insurance pays 70% of it
Way over priced, poor quality shoulder brace for $200. Had to order another, much better one online for $25.They must pay their employees to write a good review 🤣
Overpriced medical equipment. Billed me one year after the date of service.
Billed my insurance company $400 for the same boot online for $131. My insurance paid $298.00 and they billed me the balance. When I called Customer Service they got very rude and when I asked for the reps name they hung up on me. I would have rather paid the additional $30 and got it online so they could not gauge my insurance and raise all our insurance premiums. It is hard to imagine what they are doing is even legal.
They billed my insurance company $900 for a simplistic knee brace purely to immobilize my knee after stitches. Basically plastic and Velcro. Their statements say to call if you have questions or concerns about the bill. I did as I was being billed $541 for the brace after the write off. Still grossly overpriced. I spoke to a rep that had no answers and would not let me speak to anyone else. They promised someone else would call. They did not call yet they send me another bill. Nice organized crime system they have as they bill you and will ultimately send you to collections and damage your credit over plastic and velcro. They would be a nice target for investigation by the California States Attorney.
Received a bill 2 years after the items supposedly were given to me. I called to give them my insurance and they were like Im not sure if they will accept a claim from 2 years ago, when Ive had the same insurance company. They tried to get paid instantly, stating the insurance might reject the claim, so we can close input at $112.28. I was like bill the insurance and Jessica hung up on me.
Breg is a very positive work environment and youre given every opportunity to voice your feedback and recommend improvements. Employees are valued and the company invests significant time, effort and money in advancing their skills and careers in general.
My card was run for a brace in May 2018. In July I started receiving bills for 3 different amounts. When I called to find out what was going on none of the 3 people I spoke with could help me at all! Their advice was to wait until someone called me. When that would be or if I’d actually get a call no one knew. So I had to call the third party rep to get it figured out. They never processed the payment and no one knew why. After the rep figured out what happened they processed the payment without even contacting me to let me know they would be doing so. This brace was a a few hundred dollars so you’d think they’d at least give their customers a heads up. Terrible customer service coupled with a poor billing department, I would not recommend or go to them again. I hate to leave bad comments but they really need to think about retraining the customer service staff. Not sure what the point of a customer service team is if no one can even help you.
They charged me $900 for a leg brace. $900 for some metal and plastic. Luckily I have insurance, but seriously, talk about extortion at its finest. These guys are either making their braces out of pure vibranium or theyre the spawn of satan. My money is on the latter.

I got a bill for a CPM machine that says any insurance coverage that you have provided to us has been applied and the balance due is your responsibility. Only that was not true. They had not attempted to run this through the insurance company at all. The representative said that the bill was the cash discount and was I sure that I wanted them to run it thru the insurance because it could cost more. Ummm yes, I am sure that I want you to run it through the insurance. I think that their statement on the bill is outright fraud. The machine itself was old but it worked fine. I would probably give them three and 1/2 stars for bringing the machine out, picking it up and the fact that it worked, but reduced it to one star for the deceptive billing practices.
$141 for a piece of equipment I was told would cost $20 after insurance. Was funny because when they tried to call my number they were unable to leave a voicemail since their number is publicly listed as HIGH RISK SPAMMER. Refused to work it out with the company. Scammy third party biller. AVOID!
I broke my ankle. I was offered crutches at the clinic. I asked how much they were, the nurse checked and I was told $40. I signed the paper (that has no price on it, that should have been a red flag) saying I would pay for them and left. I just saw the charge to my insurance company - $75. Then I saw another charge for the stability boot - $400!!!!This is ridiculous. The only reason I am not fighting these charges is that I was dumb enough to sign my name to something that didnt have a price on it. It never occurred to me that I would be charged $400 for the boot.
