I like Jiffy Lube for many reasons but I especially like that they keep track of my visits and what services I had performed on the last visit. They also perform safety checks every time (lights, blinkers, etc) for no additional charge. I feel that this is a huge value add because it could be the difference in me getting a ticket or fixing the problem right away.

I enjoyed the conversation with the service people and they knew what they were doing. It was a good value but did take a bit of extra time. Id use them again and recommend them.

I came in just to get my tires checked because I was getting ready for a road trip. I was greeted by Randy and she was super nice and even let me know that she could check my fluids to make sure everything was good for the trip. My daughter was getting a little crazy and Randy took the time to talk to her and make her smile and she really didn’t have to do that. Randy went above and beyond to not only make my experience great but also my daughters.I will definitely return for an oil service when I return from my trip.

I had 3 girls working on my car and they did a fantastic job! I haven’t ever seen that at a jiffy lube. They were very knowledgeable. I was finished in under 10 minutes. This was hands down the best service I’ve had and I’ve been coming here for years. Thank you!!

Overall it was exactly as should be expected from a quick oil change provider. It was nice being able to stay in the car during the service and it was completed quickly.

The staff was very nice and professional. I came in for quotes and Randy and Will were very helpful and very nice! They made me feel comfortable and confident in there abilities. I will definitely be returning for future services and maintenance.

Issues when I left. My front grill fell off (it wasnt broken when I went in). Car died hours later.Update: had to spend more money on my car to get it fixed. I called and got told they dont care and I obviously did something wrong and Im a liar. I will never return. It was a nightmare...

The customer service here was amazing. My girl Randy was so nice and so polite, I will definitely be coming back here. They were fast and informative as well. Little to no wait on a Saturday is amazing. The oil change took around 20 minutes and I filled out the paperwork while they worked on the car, so it felt like no time at all. Also, they all had masks on even while working in the heat. Great service all around.

They left my car with a leak when it didnt have one. Now Im leaking coolant. Ill go to my regular mechanic in future.

Could not do cabin filter. Said they would break the filter holder, but they did change the regular air filter.

I posted my thoughts on this VERY upsell place. But, theres more. I received a call from the company. It was itself terrible. Mostly they said how great they are, best around, never upsell!!! Never asked for the date and time I was there. Said they would send me discount coupon for future work. I declined this lame offer and will visit one of the many other places in my area.

I am very satisfied with the work of Justin, Alex, Sebastian and Amanda. Justin and Alex explain the services they offer very well and are very careful even with the smallest details and I am very grateful for the security measures they have due to the covid-19.

The staff are very attentive. Enjoyed myself. I was able to work online while watching sports.

The guys were pleasant enough, but I had to ask them to check the tire pressure. As I was driving away, I realized they didnt reset my maintenance light. Also, was kind of annoyed when I saw multiple services they marked as declined, but they didnt ask or do. For example, wash windshield, check windshield wiper blades, and there were a couple other things. Please do everything your signature full service oil change states is included, every single time.

I just had a great experience at Jiffy Lube here in Carlsbad. I was apprehensive about going after reading a few mixed reviews but I really want to support the local businesses in my community, especially during this COVID pandemic thingy. Anyway, there were lots of staff on board during a slow period (1-2pm) but most seemEd busy helping out with my truck, either checking fluids or adding air to the tires. The only one up sale I didn’t expect was their recommendation on adding a “synthetic blend” oil vs. the regular oil for any vehicle 2010 and newer (mine is a 2011). My buddy who normally services my car is a certified Honda mechanic and tells me that it isn’t necessary but I thought I’d just give it a shot and treat my truck to some good stuff. To my surprise, the cost (after finding a $15 coupon on line) was actually much less than I expected! For those who say they’re a bit pricey, we do live in Carlsbad and I’ve seen much higher prices in other neighboring cities. Anyway, they topped off my window washer fluid, appropriately indicated that all my other fluids were good to go, and sent me on my way in about 30 minutes tops. I will certainly recommend them to others in my friends and family network.

What happened to all the old employees that knew what they were doing? This place is in shambles. I am all about hiring and training new people, but I am quite sure the entire staff was in training, took forever and had no clue what they were doing. I just felt bad for the person down below that had oil going all over the place because she had the oil pan in the wrong location.

Quick, Friendly and Helpful.I came in on a pretty empty afternoon about an hour before closing, and while I was worried about getting the rushed, so-so treatment that other locations would provide that close to closing time, the guys at the Carlsbad JL went out of their way to make sure that I understood that this would *not* be that type of experience. They let me know that the wait would be pretty short, provided a list of some follow up points that my car was in line for and really took the time to not only discuss at length just what I needed, but how they can help me in future visits. No other place has really done that for me, and I just want to make sure its known how much I appreciate that.Keep doing the job you do, guys -- its top-notch, efficient and appreciated!

I almost didnt come here because of the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised. People mentioned the price - they quoted $41 for a standard oil change, but if you go on the Jiffy Lube website theres always coupons. I had one for $13 off, so that made it a more reasonable price. Not cheap, but okay. They also vacuumed my carpets, topped off some fluids, and added some air to my tires, so whatever.The guy who helped me out was helpful, unassuming, and did not in any way try to upcharge me. He asked which oil I wanted, showed me on the screen what the options were, etc. He did show me what the manufacturer recommends for regularly scheduled maintenance at my mileage level, but did not press the point when I declined.

We do all of our basic vehicle maintenance at Jiffy Lube. They are quick doing the job and thorough with the work. It is convenient that they keep detailed records of everything they have done (I dont keep records as well).

I went in to get a turn signal bulb replaced. It was a particularly hard one to reach because you had to go through the engine compartment and things were in the way. They replaced it for free with the bulb I provided.

Their time of the oil change is 20 minutes but i have been waiting at the counter to be checked in for 20 minutes, no one talking to me except sit down we will be with you shortly. Would of left long ago had i not waited so long to get my oil changed. Steer clear of the place unless you like waiting and no customer service.Update: still here, stay far away from this place if u value your time.

I always come here for my oil changes. i wont go to just any jiffy lube this place has the most exceptional vustomer service iver ever experienced. justin the greeter and cashier is so helpful he was willing to help fix my car after they had clised completely for free. there needs to be a justin at every jiffy lube

Avoid this Jiffy Lube at all costs. Inexperienced workers caused severe damage to my car.Ive had positive experiences at other Jiffy Lubes, but this place is bad news. I got the usual oil change---10 minutes later, my car broke down on the highway.After getting my car towed to another mechanic, the damage ended up costing $1200 to fix. Instead of reimbursing for the full amount, Jiffy Lube only offered to cover $300, which I never received either. Cody the regional manager is helpless and ducks your calls, and Joe, the manager, blatantly lies in order to not be held liable for damages.Stay away from this place.

This would be the 1st time that the mechanic asked me to drive my truck into the bay area and to test my lights for them. I had to wait a little bit longer as well as to one out of the 2 bays cannot handle the weight of my truck. Its Its some thing small but my windows were not cleaned as well. Overall the team did poorly
