I set an appointment for my daughter over the phone & got in right away. Her nail tech was really friendly and made good conversation.😊Everything was clean & sanitized, there were at least two people spraying down stations & mopping the floor. She did exactly what we asked for & my daughters nails looked great! 👍The total was $48 & I believe it was well worth it.

Not sure why I came back a second time. Maybe because I am new in town. First set too bulky and uneven. Second time she did a fill but didnt trim skin around my nails, she also didnt cut my real nails and you can see my nails under the acrylic. Very expensive for a fill and not a good job. I was also burnt 3X.

I absolutely love this place.... Im guessing maybe the owner was the one that did it and his wife added the Little jewels. They are always fast and always so sweet with good conversations .... I gave them a picture of exactly what I want it and thats what I got very happy!!!

The Lady did not want to change my nail color she said it was going to be tooo much to remove the black gel nail polish color and that I have to leave on. I tried to be nice and ask her if she could just add more glitter she was not happy about that, she then rush my nails to get me out her chair and She didn’t care to remove the extra black and clear polish at the tip of my fingers. 😕

It was cool, I came in for a pedicure and while they didn’t understand English there was a girl name Cici that read kind enough to translate so I decided on a manicure with her as well. When I asked if she does nail art you smiled and said yes. I am very happy with the overall service amd quality.

They did a good job on my Nails. I really like CC. Pedicures were good, not great. They dont spend as much time on them and didnt really get all the dead skin off like I like. But overall best place I could find in this town.

I went to get a pedicure with my mom and they told us to sit down but they dont even do it right they just soak your feet and paint your nails. They do not remove the dead skin

I asked them to sharpen my stiletto nails and they completely ignored me, my nails are rounded at the ends and ugly. Got 438 Island oasis color, peels off within the day cause they added too many layers. Why? Cause there was hair under my polish the first time it was done. Went to get one nail fixed and the next day 4 more are peeling. Waxing is decent, but I will not be having my nails done here ever again. LDS has all the cheap gel polishes you need.

I’m not one to leave a review but this place was Not good!! Brought my mom for her birthday and they didn’t even bother to look at the design she wanted. Automatically said no! They were pulling and tugging on her hands. SO RUDE. They were such in a hurry the girl that was doing her nails on the table asked another girl for help and the other girl just kneeled down on the floor and agggresivley tugged my moms hand towards her to finish her other hand. So unprofessional 👎🏻

Definitely would not go back. Spent almost $50 for crooked nails that aren’t even shaped correctly. My fault for going in so close to close when I’m leaving town before sunrise to go get married. I’m fortunate that I am able to clean them up myself at home so they won’t be so noticeable for photos. I got plain white tip. The tops were glued on crooked so I can’t fix that. The girl kept getting up to do other stuff including to eat while I sat there waiting for her to come finish. I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Photos are before I fixed them.

I went here and they were so sweet. I walked in and 15 mins later they took my friend to a chair. Then 20 mins later they finally took me. A girl walked in about 30 mins after me and they took her first thing when she walked in. They got me and the nails look good but the nail tech had missed edges and tips. Did not do the design I wanted. About 8 days later two nails came off. My paint is chipping and I made 60 bucks for them. Also my nails was so far out from my cuticles and had such a high arch. I recommend going somewhere else.

This was my first time at M &M, overall I was pleased. I got my nails done and eyebrows done, they are better priced then anywhere else in town. A older lady was the one who did my nails and my eyebrows overall she did a good job other than because of the language barrier she didn’t do exactly what I want and I wanted was one sparkly nail on each hand which I did not receive it she did a good job forming the nail although she got nail polish on some of my other fingers, and didn’t remove it. She did a very good job on my eye brows though. She also took her time, I will probably return again

I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years now. Mike, Megan and Jay are the best. I look forward to seeing the new salon next month when they move.

I wish they would take more time on pedicures. I had to tell the gentleman to fix my nail and remove dead skin. They are just in a hurry to finish to go on with the next customer.

I know M & M Nails & Spa because it was introduced by my friend decided to go there in the afternoon and I was completely satisfied. I did not schedule but I just waited 5 minutes. I showed the technician see a photo online and I was surprised to find that they could do the same.They work very carefully and I think this is their favorite job. I got the absolute BEST pedicure I have ever received! Very nice, very clean, they don’t just do a regular pedicure like everywhere else they make sure you get what you want and that the entire experience is enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Went today. Waited half hour and 3 peopleWent before me. Owner calls people “sister” for regulars. I have given a lot of money to this place and today was the end of my rope. They are not organized and sloppy with their work. My last nails was done by owners wife and they all broke over the weekend. I will NOT go back and I have been going there for a year. Typical shop with in and out trying to make the most money. Too bad they won’t be getting anymore of mine. There are a lot of shops now in Carlsbad we can go too that make us feel we matter. Not rushed. Never will I go back. I should’ve explored other options long ago. But we get desperate and in a hurry. Trust me. Take the time and explore other options. This place stinks.

Very nice place, staff is friendly, nice massage chairs for pedi, always do a great job on my nails. Been to some other salons in town, this is by far the best.

I had such a good experience here! The manicurists are so friendly and gentle, in comparison to other salons in the area. I really like that they are environmentally conscious and toxin free, which is great for the workers and the customer.

Quick but not exactly the quality I was looking for

I went for a pedicure and few days later I had a full set of nails put on. Friendly staff, spoke English to customers and very well. Nails were done with speed and precision. Very pleased and would go again if we are here again.

Same in today (Saturday) to have them fix my nail expecting to have to pay!! She was SOOOO Perfectly and thorough!! I am always so happy with my service. I will definitely return to this day spa next time I am in M & M Nails & Spa.

Very poor shaping on the acrylics. paint was all over my cuticles, she didn’t attempt to clean it up. you can definitely find somewhere with a lot better technique for cheaper.

Will never go back there she put my nails on crooked and I had to tell the lady multiple times, then had the balls to say my fingers are crooked. She then cut me open multiple times while filing. After I finally got fed up they made me pay 50 for the worst service and nails I’ve ever had. I’m truly upset

Ridiculous. Unsanitary. Disrespectful.I usually do not get my nails done in Carlsbad since I know that the people do not do a good job. But this time, I decided to give it a shot. It was awful. I got my nails done by an elderly lady that kept getting distracted while doing my nails, she cut me on my actual finger. She cut my pinky and my thumb, they both bled. I told the manager and he just took 5$ off. I just paid and didn’t argue it. Because I just wanted to get out. The elderly lady laughed when I told her kindly that I didn’t quite like them. She just laughed in my face! Awful experience. The place isn’t clean neither. She just threw the nail polish on and the nails are so so dirty. The nails came out all different sizes. Just BE CAREFUL when going to this place.

I have been here 4 times, each time I vow never to go back. They do not use clean utensils everytime. I have been burned and cut. This last time I went from red nails to a french tip. When she was done 3 nails still had red on the sides. They are extremely expensive. I will NEVER use this place again.

The first time I came to get my nails Idone I paid 55 for powder acrylics. I west there waiting for 20 minutes until I got seen. The second time I I went with a friend and my son. I have never in my life felt so discriminated against for having a child in there. My son is one and I did not have a babysitter. I too would like a day to treat myself but the level of disrespect I received with my friend was beyond horrible. Some of the staff was great but some were also very snobby and just making unnecessary faces. Not to mention my mani pedi was 95$ & on top off that the wait is forever they will tell you 5minutes but in reality it ends up being 20. I do not recommend this place. There are other salons that will give better service.

Best place in town to get your nails done

Im not sure how this place is still even open. Its disgusting, they use the same tools on everyone. I came in for a pedi/mani. The guy cut my nails, I told him to stop filing cause i was already bleeding. Its not even close to being called a spa. Gross. Please see pictures. I decided to wait for a manicure, (why, not sure) so I asked for a pink white tip backfill even showed her the picture. Lil ol lady can use a new coat, hers is gross looking dirty. Again see pictures and you be the judge. Never again stepping in here again, if i could rate no stars I wouldnt. Of course I didnt tip either. This place is disgusting.

People where nice, but they did a bad paint job on my achylics and a couple of my fingers where burning . Any other time I get my nails done they never burn nor nail polish never comes off and it’s just not good at paintings.

Some of my gel nails came off within the first week....
