I would regard this as a mini review since we just did an overnight for a wedding we attended. Check in was a breeze especially since we prepaid. The lobby was light an airy very chic. Staff was ultra attentive, gave us free water bottles for the room and even hooked us up with free toiletries when I mentioned I had forgotten to pack some toothpaste. Getting our stuff from our car to our room was easy enough with plenty of access points from the parking area.The room were nice enough. Had all the basic amenities. TV, slim desk, clothing storage. View of the parking lot was less then desirable but it was quiet. Ample space Wifi was ultra strong. AC was able to achieve Freezer level Temps, great considering the heat wave we were stuck in lately. All in all a good experience. Was able to get great sleep after the nuptial festivities.

Horrible front Desk check in service Tesa the front Manager does not know anything about good customer service could show no empathy or sympathy towards the situation considering that I had a small infant with me it took over 2hrs 1/2 to get to a room and about 1 after a long zoo day I was traveling with a small 7 month old baby I could not even get a crib or bassinet for even the best Western and more than 70% less offers that their housekeeping is not available after all is said she offers a $100 off after we arrived at 9pm and it was 12:30am by the time we were in a room. I would say stay at the Best Western we have stayed their before and had no issues.

I had fairly low expectations based on some of the more recent reviews (not super friendly staff, slow deliveries for housekeeping requests, etc) but I am very pleasantly surprised to say we encountered none of that! We had very friendly staff interactions and our housekeeping requests (different pillows, microwave and crib) were all delivered promptly. Our room location was perfect access to pool and front desk and the private entrance to legoland within walking distance was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the Carlsbad area!

Positive: The girl who checked us in was sweet. Lobby is pretty, pool area is small but OK. Electric car charging onsite, SOMEWHERE..? If you like animals, this place is great. Guests can bring their pets. Negative: Ponto Suite..NOT 2bedrooms Its ONE BEDROOM w twins&door. King bed IN LIVING/MAIN ROOM-NO DOOR. Bathroom vanity IN sofa/sitting area. No sofa bed,micro,ORextra blankets. All Ponto suite rooms R the same.Ground,3rd,4th floor only difference. $24parking.

I really have this place a chance :( but i can’t even fathom how horrible customer service is here.I tried to call because our room was 2 hours late and we were still waiting in our friends room. The hung up and refused to let me talk to a manager and i was being calm, my husband had to go down there and be not so nice unfortunately.They also lost my bag and would not take care of it, my bag was very expensive and see through, there was makeup and all of my expensive things i got for my birthday:( really sad and a bummer they didn’t care.Most of people are nice but the service is just so horrible. You also pay more for a balcony which was only 12 inch long and the seats can’t even more because it’s so small.the bathrooms were good but rooms and hotel unfortunately overall not worth it😕

Positive: Close to Legoland. Negative: Stayed at the Westin next door a couple years back and definitely a much better experience than here. Maybe same management and maybe the subpar experience was due to covid, but customer service from all staff definitely not up to par.

The rooms are very nice and big. Feels like home away from home. The staff was not very friendly at all. The customer service representative made me feel unwanted. Gave wrong directions just made us feel as if they had no time for kindness and hospitality.

Hotel has nice views but the restaurant is way over priced for the non tasting food they sell I mean seriously we spent over 100 bucks on dinner and over a 100 on breakfast and really disappointed both times. O yes to add the refrigerator in the room is pointless it couldnt keep our fruits cold.

We were here this past weekend and everything about the place was great!Checking in: We were greeted by a friendly person!Room: Nice! Bed was comfy, pillows could have been a bit more fluffy (but that is just preference), towels were big, soft and thick not like the ones at other hotels that are thin and been washed multiple times to the point where it is hard. Room was nice and cool the minute we walked in. Balcony was awesome. You will have to get the deluxe room for the balcony.Private entrance to Legoland! There are no signs advertising this so one needs to ask an employee how to get. Though its only a 15 minute walk, we opted to drive to the lower lot and park. Once we did, its a short walk to the back entrance. Again there is very little advertisement indicating where it is. Also, one must bring their hotel key to show proof that you are a guest of Marriott and Westin to get through.We didnt get to use the pool (boo!) only because my kid refused to go. I saw it...it looks nice and they had a water slide!We will be coming back here!

Quite disappointed with the not so classy staff like Jordan and Jasmine at the front desk . We had two rooms for four days at the Sheraton. We were at the Sheraton to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and spend some family time after long lockdown with COVID was ended n life was getting a little normal . We had the displeasure of dealing with Jasmine and Jordan at the front desk who were obnoxious and didn’t care of providing classy service like Nordstrom and behaved like they were working in Walmart with nice costumes.We went to have dinner first night at 7 miles I ordered pizza margarita which was burned and super soggy pic and video attached . Our server was very nice though, she deserves five star her name was Angie. We did Yelp check in and it offered free scoop of gelato. I was told that night in order to get that we need to go to the front desk and show them the Yelp check in and get the voucher . So we went to the front desk and got the voucher from Jordan. After that we were at the pool and we ordered the food from 7 miles and did the Yelp check in. Why not correct it doesn’t say that we can only do one check in in 4 days or just go to the restaurant one time . So here we go to the front desk had a pleasure of dealing with super polite n professional lady Megan and showed her our Yelp check ins and asked for the coupon . Ms Jorden the Walmart lady interrupts Megan and tells me Madam ‘I gave you voucher this afternoon you can’t get it again it’s only one time only.’ So I ask her we can’t go for lunch or order the food again and can’t do Yelp check in and get this offer? Her whole attitude of was so terrible and not classy as if one scoop of gelato was getting deducted from her paycheck and as if we were some scammers and trying to rip off the Sheraton for about scoop of gelato.

Highest ratings for the Sheraton Carlsbad! Nicole at the Check-in desk went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. Clean and luxurious rooms and the hotel took every precaution during these covid times. Highly recommended.

This hotel is amazing! We booked our stay for 2 nights to get away and do something fun for the kids. We booked a Ponto suite that has a 2 twin bedroom, a living room, and a king bed. It is amazing for a family get away. The pool has a slide which the kids loved, as well as the gelato bar!I gotta give a big shout out to the hard working staff. They have been so accommodating even during these hard times with 1/4th of the staff. Our room had a few minor things that needed fixing and they were ontop of it, & even comped our resort fee. I appreciated their efforts, knowing that these things are harder to fix quickly with limited staff. The hotel is also located close to Legoland, and when it opens back up I definitely know we will be staying here again! Great staff, clean rooms, and a beautiful location. Great for a relaxing trip if youre looking to have fun while social distancing.

We stayed at this hotel to visit our daughter in Carlsbad. Everything was clean and I felt safe with everyone in masks etc. We checked out of the hotel and left but realized my youngest daughter left her AirPods on her bed! White case on white bedding. We called the hotel to let them know what happened and spoke with Joseph. They had already cleaned the room, bundled the bedding up and placed in a van to be laundered off site. I thought that was the end of it however Joseph tracked down the truck and was able to get my daughters AirPods back! This was unexpected and such a pleasant surprise to have the hotel (Joseph) go above and beyond. Thats customer service!! Thank you!

Loved the location, but for a sheraton the service was definitely lacking. Their 7 mile kitchen we got ignored every time we stood up at the front. Our room mini fridge was broken. And I know covid is limiting amenities but that didnt help ether. Just didnt meet expectations. Comfy mattress though..

Check your bill. I was charged for self-parking and didn’t even have a vehicle nor advised them I was driving at check in. I used Uber the entire 6 days in California. Been trying to reach someone for 2 days and no one answers the phone.

I dont understand the high rate. This is at best a nice motel. Not a resort in anyway. Of course ever was closed and we still pay a resort fee? The property is really nothing to jaw drop. No view at all either. The room was clean but the tub and remote were broken.The staff was hardly noticeable which is a good thing I guess. They didnt offer to help with luggage or valet which are features a hotel or resort would have. There are more cheaper properties in the area that are compatible.

Our family just loves this amazing resort! It is beautiful, clean and relaxing. We stay here at least 2 times a year. Josef is a superior General manager who clearly has put together an amazing staff, courteous yet so personable. Every question or request that I had was attended to promptly with care. I highly recommend Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa.

Positive: There was a tall thin older black gentleman that should be given a raise and promotion. My Husband did get his name .. but I forgot what he told me it was ... he was EVERYWHERE... a kind and hardworking gentleman who was always upbeat and helpful... Negative: The resort fees! How they feel they can continue to charge such an inflated fee while most of the resort is not available to you is crazy... pool limited to 70... gym closed.. activity center closed.... no maid service during your stay

I was so disappointed that we were unable to pre-pay for our client, with a corporate credit card, even after escalating to management. The other hotels in your area are sold out and no one would work with us to book a stay for an almost due pregnant woman, this is such a shame. Apparently, theres no room in the inn.

After a long day at Legoland, it was a relaxing to be able to walk to the hotel. We checked in well after 6pm and was surprised that they had upgraded us to a suite. I love it when they upgrade us without having to ask. Our stay extra special with upgrades. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and spend some time at the pool. This hotel being so close to the theme park makes it a perfect place for young families. I traveled with my two boys while my wife was away on a girls trip. It was easy for me to handle the boys with all the extra amenities the hotel offered.

This hotel is definitely not my first choice for visiting San Diego. The only good features which we like are separate entrance to Legoland and suites with two twin beds in a separate room for kids. The service is consistently unpleasant. This time knowing what to expect, we booked the most expensive room with a view, which was $60 more per night. While this hotel clearly had numerous rooms available, as a platinum member I wasn’t counting to receive an upgrade at this particular hotel. Upon check in, Reid still decided to put my family on the third floor without a view. I am not sure what was exactly his issue with me - he knew what I reserved, and he knew that I have platinum elite membership. When we realized that Reid put us on a third floor, I returned to the lobby and another associate resolved the issue. This time we did not eat the “7 mile” restaurant at SHeraton and walked next door to Westin and ate at “20/20” which has a lot healthier choices and friendly service. I Was pleased that this time when we returned from the park our room was cleaned. It was an issue during our previous stay. We tried to use the kids center located by the pool but it was closed on both Sunday and Monday. No signs or explanations. The final part is $24 per night Self parking charge was a total surprise to me - Reid probably did not think it was relevant to mention upon check in. Overall, I received what I expected so I am not disappointed.

Our family of 4, with 2 small children under the age of three, all enjoyed our stay here. The location is great and so close to all the things we wanted to do. The shuttle to and from Legoland made everything so easy! It’s a great looking hotel with nice amenities. I only wish we had stayed longer and the weather was warm enough to use the pool.

We came for a little weekend getaway and enjoyed every minute! The pool is perfect, I was able to swim with my 4 year old and use the slide and was ALSO able to sit at the entrance of the pool with my 4 month old so she could play in the water too! I love the cleanliness, the comfort, and the friendly staff at this hotel. Everything is so family friendly and made so easy- they even have swim diapers located by the towels if you forgot your own for your child!! Room was clean, and so spacious and nice. The staff was amazing with delivery of baby crib, and our room service as well! Ohh I almost forgot, we also used the free shuttle transportation down to Carlsbad Village for dinner, they were quick and super friendly as well :)

We stayed for 4 nights and it was great. We went to Legoland 3 days in a row, and it was great having the private back entrance to legoland and not have to walk to the front, or deal with lineups. Perfect!! The entire stay was great....check in was quick, friendly, and very efficient. The onsite restaurant had great food, and the rooms are clean and well designed. Its very close to outlet shopping and restaurants. Will stay here again! Even my 6 year old asked if we could stay here again next time we come to legoland!

Traveled with family for 2 night stay and to visit Legoland. Property is gorgeous. Rooms are updated and very comfortable. Public areas are as nice as they appear in the photos. Front desk staff is friendly and genial. Made me feel welcome with every interaction. Had a couple service failures with a missing rollaway bed and slow service at bar. It did not ruin the trip - but left a little something to be desired. Will definitely visit again.

Great energy, very attentive, and the flavor of the food was wonderful. The rooms here are great since they all have a balcony so you get to enjoy that wonderful California weather, and needless to say the beautiful views. Would recommend this place for anyone who lives in the Southern California area or to anyone visiting. Cannot go wrong!

What a lovely hotel! The front desk staff are kind and welcoming. The grounds are well kept. My son loved the pool with slide! The food was delicious! Plenty of room to take my dog for a nice walk with beautiful views. The room was spacious and well kept. Definitely a place to stay for a vacation or staycation!

The Sheraton in Carlsbad was great for a family vacation. The pool area was amazing- our sons enjoyed the water slide and pool area very much. They also have lawn games and an area for kids. We loved the movie night and smores on the lawn. The hotel restaurant is causual with good food. And the service was great. The private entrance to Legoland is such a nice perk. We will definitely return in the future.

This hotel is great if you are planning to go to Legoland. It is very kid friendly and is a very short (5-10 min. walk to Legoland).The pool is heated awith a nice water slide for the kids, along with a lot of games/activities for them. We have a 3 year old and 5 year old, and this hotel was perfect for us. There are a lot of places to eat/shop nearby, but the onsite food is not bad either. This hotel is in a great location and I would recommend it to other families.

Hands-down best hotel/resort my husband and I have ever stayed at. Friendly staff, delicious food options at on-site restaurant, updated facility inside and out (AMAZING outdoor views- pool, palm trees, fountain, fire pits). Even though we had an issue with our room (pet-friendly resort) when mentioned to the staff, they immediately switched us to a new room and compensated in other unexpected ways. The room mishap was overshadowed by the generous accommodations provided afterward. Gentlemen who provide shuttle service to nearby sights were very professional, punctual and friendly.Private entrance to Legoland was definitely a plus- just a 10 minute walk from the resort.Would DEFINITELY stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad if we make a return visit to the San Diego area!

This Sheraton is located just off the freeway next to LEGOLAND and is like a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle around. The ambiance is relaxing and spacious. The facilities balanced for adults and children. Food delicious. And, a private entrance to LEGOLAND away from the crowds of the front-gate. And, if you visit in October, a fabulous down-home pumpkin patch nearby.

Positive: The staff was friendly and the location was nice. Negative: As soon as you walked into our room there was a disgusting stain on the carpet. You couldnt help but stare at it every time you walked by because you couldnt help and wonder what made it and why the hotel wouldnt remove it.

Got away for the night and enjoyed the stay. The pool closed a little early (9 p.m.) so we werent able to enjoy it after dinner which we had planned. The dark shades were fantastic and allowed us to sleep in through the early California sun. Pre- or post-COVID would probably have made the stay better. Still recommend!

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms were clean. We stayed in a family suite where my son was so happy to have a room all to himself and my wife and I appreciated the privacy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms very quiet. The Seven Mile restaurant was a real treat. The food was delicious and our waitress was very courteous and efficient. We will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel is very flexible for me. They always understand that I am there for work and make it very easy during check in and check out. It is a great value for the price. Megan goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Ive never had any problems that they couldnt solve immediately. Overall great hotel and staff! Good job guys!

I have stayed here about once per month for 5 years when I visit Carlsbad for work. I stay at this Sheraton whenever I can due to location and a great corporate rate, but also consistency and continued improvement in the property. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. An extra restaurant with walk up counter is great when I need to keep working in the evening. The 2018 remodel made a huge improvement to the property (splitting with Westin and new buildings too) and I think the management of construction was better than I expected, with very low impact to guests over the couple years it took. This property is super family friendly. Ive brought mine out and find it very convenient for private access to Legoland and the new pool area is really nice. I see lots of famies there every summer but it still meshess well with business travellers too. The grounds are gorgeous and I always see landscapers keeping it clean and tidy. Things are usually pretty quiet too. In all, I think this is the best hotel property in Carlsbad. There are slightly more luxurious ones in the area, but they are far more expensive and full service, meaning have lots of cash on hand for tips. You are more pampered, but if you come and go a lot, they just arent a good fit for me. Simple things like parking at these other properties are a good example, where self parking is either a major hike or forced valet can be frustrating.

My 2nd stay this year at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa was nothing short of impressive. We had the best, most relaxing time and it was because of the team there who were so attentive, friendly and full of information about what services, above and beyond the norm, the resort offers. Our room was beautiful (and clean!) and the view at night was phenomenal. The pool area is exceptional. My granddaughters had the time of their life. Towels and swim diapers were well stocked and the 7Mile Restaurant was right there for your coffee, drinks and food for whatever time of day you were out and about.

We loved this property and will definitely go back. Great location, convenient access to LEGOLAND, and a fantastic pool. The water slide was fun but we wish it had been open longer hours and during the week. Our only real complaint is the beds. They were hard and not very comfortable.

The environment was very nice, calm and has something for everyone. Its a very nice family/business environment. I enjoyed my early morning coffee, in my room on the balcony. As a family we enjoyed the food/Bar... Everything was very yummy! Mom & Dad LOVED the fire pit & the Kids Loved the pool & the slide. Next time I visit, I look forward to taking the free shuttle service! **NO NEED TO DRIVE to nearby shops/restaurants with my honey!

Charges for a bunch of things unnecessarily, for example, parking. They have a giant, parking lot with ample spaces, yet charge guests to use it. It’s Carlsbad, not Manhattan.Staff is fine, but nothing fantastic. Some are great, some don’t care. Rarely impressed.Rooms look updated, but no attention to detail/function of the things in the room. For example: a nightstand in our room was completely missing it’s outlet panel- just had a large hole where the panel should have been. Light switches, bathroom locks, etc. not working are pretty standard here.Great location for access to Legoland. Everything else is poor to average despite costing a premium for the area.

We booked the Sheraton Carlsbad for its proximity to Legoland. We didnt want to rent a car, this location made it very easy for us to walk to the park without having to stay at any of the Legoland hotels, which I find to be too loud and the food at the restaurant is not very good (we had dinner at Dragons Den our first night, just OK and very loud). The Sheraton Carlsbad was a very relaxing, quiet, nice place to return to after a long day at Legoland. Even though there was a convention at the hotel during our stay, we found it to be a relaxing, fun place to stay. We loved the movie by the pool and smores. Renee, our waitress at the restaurant, was very helpful, nice and fun to talk to. We loved her so much, we requested to have her as our waitress every day. The shuttle to/from Legoland was a nice option on one of the days when we were exhausted and couldnt walk back to hotel. We also took shuttle to the Village, great service. We didnt use the pool, but it looked fun with a water slide for the kids, zero entry pool-nice for little ones. My mother-in-law, son and I had a blast.

This place had the perfect balance of kid events and adult facilities (bar and food). Loved that there was service at the pool. Great place to stay for families not wanting an overwhelming kid environment.I simply avoided staying at the local hotel attraction for kids, because at the same time I wanted a slice of adult entertainment, and a clean, and comfortable place not to far from the local attractions! I do not recommend this establishment for a 100% adult environment, if thats what you are looking for.

What a magical stay. I took my 2 teenage daughters for a get away and they loved the resort just as much as I did. They loved the pools and all the games around the pool. Being at the resort felt so safe and excluded from the world that I allowed my daughters to venture out just the 2 of them which they loved.Just minutes from the beach and amazing sunsets from our private patio. It was like leaving all the pressure and distractions of life behind and just being present together. We loved our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton in Carlsbad. The rooms were luxurious and clean. The location was perfect right next to LEGOLAND and a short drive to the beach. Pizza was so good at the 7 Mile Kitchen, and they have wide variety menu for adults and kids. I will be back soon, and next time I am going to use the Spa at the Westin Carlsbad and get in some relaxation time - it looked amazing. Staff was all very friendly and welcoming.

Had a citrus scrub and foot massage add-on with Sky and it was amazing! The scrub felt like the most satisfying back scratch in all those spots you just cant reach. The rooms were very clean and inviting, including the relaxation room and locker room which was way more welcoming and comfortable than a locker room. I would absolutely come back here and highly recommend this spa!

Facilities are great. Very comfortable room. Great pool areas. Love the fire pit behind the lobby. Only one negative: Restaurant prices are high. Makes it tough for a family on a budget.

The staff at the front desk will make you have to request service even though you approach the desk. I had arrived at the hotel prior to 10am to do a pre-check-in for my Premium Ponto Suite and they said that I would receive a text. I had to go to the front desk after 4pm and beg for my room, and I was not expecting to have to do that. The top-level suite had nice amenities but dont expect a freezer section in the mini-fridge (sadly I couldnt re-freeze my ice packs for our departure). Also, they have some television service but very minimal, and if you have a Netflix account you can use that service, but they dont offer a guest sign-in to give that service to all their guests. The pool area is nice, but they take a long time to re-stock the towels by the pool. Thankfully we had taken our own towels to the pool.

Nestled between the Hilton and the Sheraton this is the other resort of the three that offers food and beverage (Sheraton is the other). The California styled cuisine is full of fresh flavours from the west coast. It is within walking distance of the other two properties so its a good opportunity to ensure you arent going to the same restaurant during your stay at any of the three resorts.

The Sheraton was able to accommodate us after the Westin next door had overbooked for our stay and we were truly impressed. Definitely didn’t leave us wishing we had stayed at the Westin. The Pool was great for our family! The room was great, we had complimentary water bottles in the room, and the beds were super comfortable. The Pool has a slide which was a total hit for my 3.5yr old son. The Pool also has shallow shore like area ideal for babies and toddlers.

The hotel staff was extremely nice. The room was very clean and the food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. Our kids loved the pool and water slide. The hot tub was very large and a good (hot) temperature. Nice atmosphere throughout. The back entrance to LegoLand was very convenient.

I booked a month or more in advance for a double bed room for my family since we were in a wedding just down the street. They oversold and gave my double bed room away. I check in and they give me a king bed room..... for 4 people. They offer to give me 2 roll seats. At this point I’m exhausted because we’ve been at a wedding since early in the morning and it’s about 10 PM. I get to my room and there is one rollaway bed I call and housekeeping says that two rollaway beds in a king wheelchair accessible room, which is what they gave me, violates safety and fire code. I asked to speak to the manager the Representative tells me the manager stepped out for a bit but she’ll ask housekeeping to make an exception for an extra roll. No exception to fire and safety code sounds like my family’s safety is not a concern. The manager called me back about 20 minutes later and says that two rollaway beds definitely does not violate safety code but with my wheelchair accessible room if there was a wheelchair in there and two rollaway beds someone in a wheelchair would not be able to get a round very easily. They offer to give me a discount on my room and waive the resort fee. I didn’t get what I reserved well I’m advance.

Stayed for 1 night with family. Great room layout with plenty of space for everyone to relax. Staff including GM were top notch. Beds and Pillows were very comfortable. Terrific nights sleep for all which is big deal for a family vacationing. The onsite food and beverage was great as well. Appreciated the kids menu. The cookies were outstanding!!! Highly recommend this new resort to anyone traveling especially families....

If you like to go to wonderful places then go here. Pleasant peasants helping to get your bags and helpful information.. Please tip them they work hard for a living.

This was my sisters first getaway since starting Peritoneal Dialysis. Not only did she have fun, she was able to relax, and was also able to perform her dialysis without any problems. Housekeeping worked around her machine and did a great job keeping our room tidy. I’m so happy she had a great experience. I want her to travel without feeling she’s tied down due to her treatments.

Absolute favorite hotel to stay especially if you have a family! They do everything right!! Food is exquisite, amenities are a perfect 10, dont forget the pools and water slide.... The beds are amazing and the service is wonderful! The front desk is especially friendly and helpful. P.S. just do it- order the room service youll never regret you did!

Excellent service at front desk and at the bar/restaurant. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Convenient access to Legoland through the Hilton property across the street. (About a 10 minute walk)

Our stay was perfect and we only wish the trip was longer. We stayed in the suite which is of good size and very comfortable. A great room for families. The staff was super helpful and they all made us feel welcoming.

This resort has a lot of amenities. But the finishes look a little low budget. Far from beach and town. Great for families going to Legoland or for a business conference that includes golf - otherwise, I can’t imagine staying here.

Everyone at the hotel could not have been any nicer! They helped with any question that I has and always maintained a positive attitude. The views from the room were beautiful and overall very happy with my stay. Would 100% come back again!

Had a great stay. Walking distance to Legoland, really friendly staff, great room. The suite is amazing for kids with a separate room with 2 x twin beds. Kids love the pool slide after a long day at Legoland. Highly recommend.

Very nice place. Courteous staff. Did not care for the 2 hour high pressure sales pitch. They dont take no until youve told 3 different sales people NO!

This was my second stay at this resort and it confirmed my impression from my first stay. The facility is in great condition and the staff is OUTSTANDING. Friendly faces all around and very quick to help. I have to give special acknowledgment to Beca, the front desk manager who helped with an extraordinary request. Valet guys are very friendly and the free shuttle is an unbelievably convenient feature. When I had to ask for housekeeping, room service or maintenance, they all arrived very quickly. The pool is great - pretty large and can accommodate a lot of people and kids. Good towels (signing for it now is not a pain, prob a good idea to keep costs down) and they provided kids swimming diapers! Very nice touch. It has all the features of a large resort but it doesnt feel big. Easy to get in and out and access all the common area amenities. Underground self parking is great. Access to Legoland is so convenient.

Love this place - we came for Legoland but the resort is a destination itself. The pool slide was fun for the kids and the gelato was delicious. We also loved our meals - stand out dishes for us were pancakes for breakfast and pizza at lunch.

My husband is a Marriott Platinum Elite member so we stay at Marriott hotels often. We are often times upgraded, but at the very least we get the room we requested. Well, not this time. We had reservations for two rooms and the day before we arrived, we called in to confirm the bed types of the rooms. We were told that each room would have two king beds which will not work for our family so we requested to switch them to rooms with two queens. The customer service rep told us that she was able to switch one room to two queens, but not the other room and we decided that we could make that work. When it came time to check into the hotel, we went to our reservation in the app and it showed one room with two queens and one room with one king so we checked in, noting our late arrival time of 9pm. Upon our arrival shortly after 9pm, we were tired with kids after a long day at Magic Mountain (not to mention being our sons 11th birthday). They tell us there are no upgrades which we say is ok since we think we are getting the 3 beds as promised the day before, but we get to our room to find the reservation had not been changed and we only have two beds. My husband talks to the front desk who will not do anything but send cots, which I know will take a long time. Meanwhile, I look on the Marriott app and see a 2 bedroom suite available right now that I could book online! Why are we not getting that room? Its now almost 10:30pm so I cant imagine its going to get booked!! Apparently, Marriott would rather let a room go empty than to accommodate a loyal member who chooses to stay with them time and again and was not given what he was promised just a day before! What a an absolute disappointment and no one seems to care at all!!!

Love this hotel and resort. Best bar tenders ever. Ross is the best bar tenders and will take care of you. The 20 20 restaurant is a great place to eat and very amazing food service. I love the pool and how family friendly this place is. Amazing views from all over this property

Dinner at twenty 20 was familiar yet different. The inside and outside of the restaurant are both very nice. Me and my wife were sat outside per our request, next to a very nice fire and ice fountain. The food is upscale, but not pretentiousness. Cooked exactly as ordered and delicious. The wait staff is wonderful and very attentive. Even while indulging my wife and me in a competition. Great place for families or a nice date. We will be returning.

I have visited the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa several times over the years. The new location and facilities are amazing. A very nice upgrade. The staff was very accommodating as well. Cant wait to come back. Overall we had a great experience.

Rooms are big and clean! Beds are very comfy and I slept like a baby. Room service was on point and front desk did their best to meet your needs. Huge swimming pool with ping pong table in the side, even the cafe by the pool had awesome food. Expensive, but worth it! Will definitely come back here again.

I have stayed here before. Both times I had very pleasant stay. The location is great. The pool was great and was improved from the last time I stayed there! It is close to the beach, legoland and the Carlsbad outlets The staff was very friendly and helpful

Awesome stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad! We were a big group attending a wedding their in Carlsbad and we all had excellent service, and personal attention because of so many friends and relatives staying there. The went over and beyond to accommodate all of us!
