Always found the staff to go above and beyond. They’re friendly and efficient. I go a couple of times a month to mail US and international packages. They make sure everything is secure and have offered me more cost effective options than I had thought of myself. Sometimes I need to bring my 4 boys (all under 8) & the staff happily welcome them (even when they’re letting off steam🥴🙄). I go out of my way to use this branch because I always leave happy.

Everyone is always so friendly, professional and quick to help the next person. I rarely stand in line so if you see a long line rest assured the line moves along quickly. Also, the Dutch door for getting your larger packages 📦 sent to your PO BOX is great! They are quick to help you and always keep their eyes peeled for the long light blue notification slip they place in your PO BOX when an item doesn’t fit. It’s nice to be able to walk up to the Dutch door just for that purpose and not have to wait in the regular line. I have been using this Post Office for going on 19 years and I have no complaints. Also, they are super helpful renewing your passports as needed.

Was on hold for 21/2 but still didn’t answer my call. Recording said will answer in one hour. I just wanted to know how long it will take. After 2 1/2 hours I could not keep holding, was very frustrated. Supervisor needs to know and give me an explanation.

It was pretty empty when I went, no lines. Very clean organized quiet. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful to notice that I needed a bigger priority box than was available on the floor. Saved me $23! Can’t thank them enough.Noticed that us post offices get a bad rap from most reviews. Don’t believe everything you read I guess, this place is just dandy.

During a pandemic. When our nation is under stress and our economy is crashing. This post office wouldn’t waive a $23 late fee for my box renewal.I forgot to pay my box renewal fee this month. I never received a notice in my box that it was up for renewal. Got locked out of my mailbox after the 10 day grace period ended so by the time I became aware of the situation, I was no longer within the grace period. I asked if the $23 late fee could be waived and my request was denied by a supervisor. During a pandemic!! Unwilling to waive a late fee!!

I have been using this location for over 9 years and have them found them to be EXCELLENT in every way except for relatively long lines due to high volume customer usage!! The postal officials who deal with the public are extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional and prompt. The only time processing is actually slow is due to the central postal systems ANTIQUATED SYSTEMS that require so much hand input by the diligent but overworked folks on duty!!!!!!! Customs forms must be hand entered, for example, as do Certified Mail, etc. The US Postal System needs to UPDATE ITSELF if it wants very, very happy customers. Postal Rates, particularly for PRIORITY MAIL are very reasonable and delivery service across the nation is SUPER!!!!!! THANK GOD WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT BRANCH PO AND GREAT FOLKS MANNING IT!!!!!!!! The only people complaining on here are the entitled Karens of Carlsbad who think they should be worshiped for walking in 2 minutes before the store closes, or get free tape or not have to pay late fees when they are late on box fees. Literally everything you are complaining about can be done online in 1-2 minutes including placing a mail hold. Sign up for a USPS account and join the 21st century and get over yourself.

Ive never had an issues until today. I had a priority mailing label for a buisness Ive been using for years. Now Im not allowed to use there priority boxes or tape? What about the 3 year i have been allowed? And asked what was inside my box? Does it matter? Ive never been asked these questions ever before Today.it has always been super simple just tape the Box and then they scanned it and gave me a receipt. For the thousands of boxes Ive shipped through here. If rules change you should give someone a courtesy of stating it and saying we will do it once but they wont allow it.

The absolute worst and most incompetent. I had put up my house for sale with a For Sale sign on my front yard. So, the postal delivery person knocked on the door on weekday afternoon (where every family members would be at work or in school) and assumed that we are gone. They stopped delivering mails and returned mails. This included sensitive financial documents like escrow, checkbooks, debit cards and many others. When I brought it to the attention, they first tired to justify and pin it on me and then finally relented sorry ... we screwed up. No ... WE got screwed.

Overnighted a package from here to North Hollywood and it went to NY?! And its still there. AND I cant talk to anyone. No one answered the phone or its busy. My package had to be there right away hence the overnight Priority Mail I paid for. Never again.

Very bad service. The worst Post Office service I have ever had.Our Delivery person(s)must be dixlixic. He/ she often delivers our mail To another address in the neighborhood. This was even done with a priority or express mail which the sender spent over $30 to send to us. It was delivered to a wrong address. Many of our neighbors have complained about the same such bad service.When we do mail forwarding to our second home, instead of forwarding The mail it is sometimes returned to sender as no such address exist. This has happened twice in the last week.When we try to call them to complain nobody answers their phone.The only thing that I can say good about this particular office is that the people at the counter are nice and responsive.

Absolutely horrible service! I entered the post office lobby at 4:58 PM June 02, 2015. A tape had been already placed where the line usually forms to block new patrons. I was using a large flat rate postal box for immediate mailing. The Lead representative closed the lobby several minutes before 5:00 PM and was servicing 3 other patrons and would not allow me to be serviced announcing the Post Office was closed. there was no one else in line.I asked LY if I could be serviced as I entered the lobby before 5:00 PM. LY was the name of the individual and he said he was the senior representative as the LEAD,he said no I could not be serviced.! I asked him for his employee number and he refused to give it to me.The you women next to LY behhind the counter would have serviced me but LY was firm and said no. I asked how I could schedule my box for pick up by the postman next morning. The women gave me directions to use the postage machines. I did not know the machine would service flat rate boxes successfully.If LY, the representative LEAD, would have taken the time to tell me what the other representative did to use the machine, I would not have been insulted, treated rudely and belligerently with refusal to give me service or his ID info. LY could have given me direction to use the machine but he chose to be arrogant. Worst customer service ever! Extremely lazy and rude!! LY (Asian male) & Asian woman declined to scan more then 3 prepaid packages. They made-up a “rule” and couldn’t even show me the proof that it’s real.Those a-holes made me go back to the end of the line and start over! ONE HOUR LATER I was finally out of this s**ty USPS office.Definitely will complain to The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau!

PSA: avoid at all cost! It’s definitely worth driving the extra minutes to a different location. The people behind the desk are polite but the old lady is the wickest witch of the west. Last week, I stood in line for 20 minutes to purchase an envelope and tape to later be accused by the old lady of stealing the envelope while I’m taping the label on.Easy mistake right? I thought she might have been having a bad day and she just came off the wrong way. Not the case, I made the mistake of returning back today. When I first entered I placed my materials at the side counter to avoid being accused of stealing. While I’m in line the wicked witch of the West comes over and tells me that I can’t place my items there. I proceed to tell her that I only places my items there because last week she accused me of stealing. She hands me my items and I continue to purchase the package. I finish labeling and taping up my shipment and I ask her if she is the one that takes priority shipments and she said “don’t you have eyes? Of course it says priory shipment.”Thinking to myself that this is the rudest lady ever. I call her out and tell her she gives me a hard time every time I come in and apologize if I did anything to come off rude. She laughs and says she treats everyone with respect but reviews on this page says otherwise.Main take away: the old lady is the rudest person on the planet and I would stay clear of this office.

Ive read a few of the negative comments posted on here, & just shake my head!From what Ive personally witnessed at the USPO located on Aviara Parkway: too many people in our society are just plain rude, disrespectful, and impatient.There was a time, when I was shipping packages at this P.O. every single day. The service Ive come to expect by the core group of Postal clerks working here, has been exceptional! They are professional, and create for a very nice pleasant atmosphere (provided youre there to create the same).The employees that Ive come to know on a personal level, and whom I would consider to be my friends: Hahn, Lee, Janet, & Romi (and several others), always make my experience at this Post Office, a positive one!Thank you!Sincerely,The Surfs always UP guy...who shares his Menthos gum. :))))

I dont know what has happened to the Post Office, but it has really gone downhill. We are constantly getting mail that is not ours - same goes for our neighbors. It just happened again. I am to the end of my rop. They also did not hold my mail while I was on vacation, even though it was clear they got the notice. As a result business checks were lost and my customers complained to me.Its to the point where I avoid using USPS for any package delivery.

EDIT: THE PACKAGE ENDED UP ARRIVING. Still minus one for the interaction. Glad it worked out in the end, though. WORST EXPERIENCE AT A POSTAL OFFICE EVER. I accidentally dropped off a UPS package to this USPS location and when I realized the next day, I went back to ask about it. While I was standing in line, a older woman came by asking everyone what they needed. I told her how Id accidentally dropped a UPS package off into the drop-off box and wanted to see if I could get it. She just tells me,Oh, its long gone by now, theres nothing we can do. I asked if she could check and she said no because they dont deal with UPS and its long gone. Worst customer service, worst experience, just the worst.

I was waiting for a package, mail man drove infront of our door, i was standing at the door, he waved hello and kept driving. i though ok, maybe hes just gunna leave it in the mailbox at the front of the parking lot.... NOPE!!! he took package with him. My tracking number status said business was closed What!?? business was clearly open if lights were on and i was standing at the door. If he was too lazy to get out, he could have at least drove right up to the mailbox and dropped it off there. Now i gotta wait longer.

Registered mail, an envelope sent fromIreland arrived in New York December 2018 in two days and has been “in transit” to Carlsbad since. Carlsbad post office professes no ability to trace it. This is January 2020 and still no sign of it.

By far the worst USPS store in my experience; an excuse-based organization. Used the Delivery Instructions to have the package delivered to the actual store so that I can pick it up in person and not risk the mail man returning to the store with it (a frequent occurrence).Not only did the postal lady have a F*** you, stop wasting my time attitude, but she insisted that the package is not in the store (even though the tracker indicated that the package had already arrived at the store the day prior). As I continued to investigate the lady then told me that the package must have been picked up by the mail man, who will leave a note at my door.Whats wrong with this picture here? Isnt this why I chose to have the package delivered to and be held at the store in the first place? So that the mail man wouldnt have to throw it in his truck and risk mis-delivering it? The amount of talent at this store is unbelievable, like an ignorant church group that will fight tooth and nail to inconvenient the customers.This store has ZERO leadershipZERO common senseand ZERO people skillsUpper management needs to step in and make some changes.
