Dr. Hall and her staff are amazing. My dog has been a patient at this practice for over 12 years and Dr. Hall has always been thorough, caring, patient, and sweet with my dog and always gives me plenty of time to ask questions about my dog’s health.

Weve been with Canyon Creek now for close to 15yrs. This is our 2nd dog that weve chosen to have this Vet take care of. Great staff, completely competent Drs and you cannot find a more competitive price across the board. Other near by vets Ive been forced to go to every now and then cost double at least. I cannot recommend this Vet enough, they really do love their job and understand living in San Diego is extremely expensive. You wont get the unnecessary tests here that other vets do just to make a buck. Were here for life.

Dr Hall is a step above all other vets in her expertise, compassion and professionalism. Been going to her for over 20 years and feel lucky to have her in the neighborhood! She is so good it’s hard to see her but it’s worth the wait list.

All was excellent as usual at our recent COVID-era visit. Really appreciate that we can still request and get Dr. Hall, and that she spent all the time I needed on the phone with me during the exam. Dr. Hall was so wonderfully kind with us when our previous dogs cancer led us to euthanizing at the office.This practice offers reasonable prices for top notch service, and in addition to that, there is a discount for senior citizens. A friend was complaining she expected about $400 for a standard checkup for her dog at another vet. Our March 2021 visit, which included rabies vaccine and blood work, was $215.

My Fur Babies have been going to Canyon Creek Animal Hospital for many years. My Dogs are 9 and 13.They take such great care of the kids and are very conscientious in all that they do at the hospital. The Staff is so kind and always there to help.I am there quite often, I order heart guard medicine and vitamins from them yearly. Dr. Hall is my Vet. She is truly a great Doctor and handles the dogs beautifully. In her absence I have seen the other Doctors also and they are terrific!I highly recommend Canyon Creek Animal Hospital for your pets.

We brought our dog for the first time to Canyon Creek for a bump on her right side and elbow scabs. After the physical, cleaning of the ears, checking vitals etc., the bump was determined to be a cyst. Dr. Cobb is amazing because beyond her professional expertise, she listens to questions and answers my concerns thoroughly!Perhaps because I have been taken advantage of in the past, I think Canyon Creek is reasonable in their fees.Most importantly, from my perspective, the doctors listen to what the client wants regarding care. Next to my dogs care, does the hospital listen to the patient regarding choices of care and expense willing to undertake? Since our dog is nearly 12 years old and a larger breed, this was one of my concerns that was addressed to my satisfaction and I will come back again for any future needs for my pooch.Another customer service experience that was extremely impressive was that Dr. Cobb left voicemail updates with lab results and whether she was concerned, cautiously concerned or had no concern whatsoever. Those voicemails along the way, although unexpected, were awesome!Fabulous customer and patient care!

First hospital I trust! Dr Hall is super fantastic, and she goes well above what most doctors do. Not only has she the best interest of your pet(s) at heart, she is also sensitive to the human aspect of owning - or losing - a furry kid. And at Canyon Creek Animal Hospital, they dont try to have you do unnecessary tests or surgeries (unlike at many other hospitals). I dare say I am not easy to please, especially where the care of my loved ones is concerned. But I can easily give a 5-star recommendation as far as Canyon Creek Animal Hospital and Dr. Betty Hall is concerned.

I have had the same Vet for 15 years and just tolerated the inconvenience, the lack of customer service, and the lack of proactive management of my Cats health. I decided to check out Vets closer to my house.I selected Canyon Creek Animal Hospital primarily because they have several doctors on staff, each of the doctors are highly trained in all areas, each of the doctors is also a pet owner, and each of the doctors has a passion and love for all animals.I have been going to Canyon Creek now for almost a year and I am extremely happy. They make you feel like part of the family. Everyone is super attentive to both us and our cat. Whats even a major plus for us is that we get a call once every few months checking in on our Cat. There is no sales pitch or request to bring our Cat in. The are just legitimately interested in her health.I love the customer service, the love they show our Cat, the prices are much fairer than other places I checked out, and the doctors are super friendly and follow up with you personally on the phone after each visit.I am a true believer that all decisions should be made based on the facts, as the facts speak for themselves. The true fact is, Canyon Creek Animal Hospital is the best Vet I have ever been to. They have my commitment and my loyalty. They are truly the best.

Canyon Creek was recommended by the rescue where we got our dog. It is the next city over from us and a little farther to get to but we are so glad we took the recommendation. This is a great place to take your pet. It is not high pressure to do tests and treatments you cannot afford like the big conglomerates that have replaced the hometown vet clinics. This is the hometown clinic and they care about your pet and making big bucks is not their primary focus. This is the third vet clinic we have tried and thanks to the recommendation of the rescue our search for a good vet clinic is over and we will transfer the care of our other two dogs there. So relieved to have found this place!

Absolutely a warm-hearted experience with Dr. Rachael Cobb! What an extremely compassionate and knowledgeable Veterinarian, with a warm caring attitude and extraordinary demeanor with animals. Weve had animals for 51 years now and Dr. Cobb is absolutely, hands down, one of the very best Vets we have ever had the privilege to care for our loved ones. We recently moved here from Sacramento and were very, very fortunate to have found sum a gem of a doctor.

All three of my dogs have been seen at Canyon Creek Animal Hospital. One died from old age, but had a surgery by Dr. Hall that extended his life two years. My second rescue was killed by a coyote, the office sent me a sympathy card. I now have a rescue that was abused and neglected, the dr. saw him for his complimentary visit, and the entire staff was incredibly patient and kind with him while I had to wait in the car. I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else.

I bring my two cats to Canyon Creek and am very satisfied with the care and services. I switched from a very pricy very high-volume practice due to poor customer service and was happy to find a good vet close to home that seemed to actually care about the cats and wasnt just railroading a bunch of tests. They explain everything they find or suggest clearly. The staff calls back within 24 hours as a follow up after visits, and after lab tests are completed. Their care suggestions are reasonable and I have found them to be pretty accommodating on scheduling.

Never have they pushed us into unnecessary tests or treatments. Her office even helped me years ago when my Mom needed to put her dog dog down and she couldn’t do it herself, so they fit me in and took care of it for me. Ive been going to Dr. Hall since she was part of another practice in Carmel Valley back in the 90s. I could tell how great she was with animals then so I followed her when she moved to Carlsbad to open her own practice. Its a bit of a drive, but its worth it when you know the doctor treats your pet the same way she would her own. Betty Hall DVM is intelligent, caring, fair and funny (at least I get her humor!)The staff at Canyon Creek are always helpful, friendly, professional and empathetic when youre dealing with some of the harder decisions one must make when caring for an elderly or sick pet.I had a Sheltie who made it to almost 16 years old thanks in part to the great care Dr. Hall and her team provided over my dogs long life. I wasnt sure about getting another dog after that, but after 2 years passed I knew it was time to fall in love again so the first thing I did was check to see if Dr. Hall was still accepting new patients and luckily for me she was!And I found a great dog sitter in Carlsbad not too far from Canyon Creek Animal Hospital and come to find out - Dr. Hall is their dogs vet, too! They just love her as well! You would be wise to check out their clinic - whether youre in Carlsbad or even if youre not, like me. Its well worth the drive.

I took my dog Cooper to this vet the first time a couple months ago and absolutely loved it. The wait is incredibly short, the staff is very friendly and the Doctors are amazing. For our first visit Cooper was very nervous and the vet really took her time to make him feel comfortable while she was examining him. We have been back several times and I will never go to a different vet!

Canyon Creek Animal Hospital is a very good place to take our two small rescue dogs. They are very attentive and responsive when the dogs have had issues. They also have very good follow-up systems so we havent missed any dates for immunizations. We think they are reasonable in their pricing as well.

We have been going to Canyon Creek Animal Hospital since we got our cat 16 years ago. I’ve always been pleased with the doctors and the office staff with all care, routine and critical, which ended up to be three cats, now back down to one. They are very compassionate, and always clearly explain treatment options and risks. Their fees are reasonable and are always explained in advance. They go above and beyond to answer our many questions, and do not push to do what I considered unnecessary treatments, particularly frequent dental cleanings, (which I previously experienced another cat clinic nearby with a two-year-old cat), and they refer me to specialists as needed. I especially love Dr. Hall, the clinic owner, but have also been very happy seeing the other doctors in the office as needed. I can’t imagine having better treatment for our beloved pets!

Canyon Creek Animal Hospital has cared for our dogs for over 10 years. They kindly assisted us when our German Shepherd died unexpectedly. There is a love of pets so obvious: I know that our dogs are handled gently when they are at the office as they are never afraid to go into the building. Just recently I was able to immediately bring one of my dogs to the office when he had a painful infection. Weve used their service for annual check ups, a broken leg and inflamed discs. They always know what they can treat and when to send to a specialist. I couldnt be happier with Canyon Creek services.

When he was young he was attacked by a German Sheppard. Dr. Hall put him back together and after many stitches he was good as new. At the end of his life Dr. Hall talked to me honestly about his care. Its all about the staff - they are friendly, efficient, compassionate and reasonable - theres no pressure to take out a second mortgage on your house to get elective knee surgery on your pet. Something that you wouldnt realize until you get there is that its not a 24x7 hospital even though the business name includes the word hospital. So you would need to find care elsewhere if your pet needs medical attention after hours. They refer clients to California Veterinary Specialists for that. Weve used CVS and they are fine, but expensive because they are the ER of animal healthcare. The facility is clean and bright. I love the new Pet News tv they put in recently. I also like that their receipts include the pets vaccination record so you always have an up to date copy to give to boarding facilities and groomers. But primarily its about the staff, and they are smart, friendly, and love your pet!

I have been a part of the Canyon Creek Animal Hospital family for 12+ years now. My last Cocker Augustus and my new little guy Max have always received only the best of care. All of the vets at Canyon Creek are top notch, caring and are like members of the family. Dr. Hall, Dr. Dolorico, Dr. Cobb, Carlos, Sara and all of the staff are always super helpful and make my little Max comfortable during his visits. These folks really like what they do and its obvious. I never feel like I am being gouged.I highly recommend Canyon Creek to anyone that wants the very best of care at reasonable prices for their FurKids. A+++++++++++++++

We recently moved to Hawaii and through Dr. Hall’s efforts and extraordinary care, our two beloved cats were able to navigate the bureaucratic hurdles and timelines of Hawaiian law and join us. We are all overjoyed.
