Have been going to Carlsbad Shores Dentistry since relocating to Carlsbad two years ago. In addition to periodic cleanings, have had two new crowns and several old fillings worked on. Dr. Hariri and his staff have been very professional and welcoming during each visit, always taking time to answer my numerous questions. He employs the latest technology and his work demonstrated has been top notch.

I highly recommend Carlsbad Shores Dentistry. I moved to the area 7 years ago and tried multiple dentists before finding Dr. Hariri. He was professional, courteous, knew his stuff (Ive had a lot of work done) and was reasonably priced. I have been going to him for the past 5 years and would highly recommend Carlsbad Shores. The Dental Hygienist and the rest of the staff are great too

My dentist Dr Hariri is extremely professional, caring and meticulous. I came in with an extremely painful tooth and never felt any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Dr Hariri took the time to explain every procedure he was doing and provided valuable advice. They are very thoughtful, aware, and concerned about every patient. This is the best dental practice I have ever visited. I wish I had switched to them sooner. Great attention and service. I highly recommend Dr Hariri to everyone and anyone.

I have been going to Carlsbad Shores Dentistry for over 5 years now, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are very thorough and always make you feel comfortable and safe. Even during the COVID pandemic, they pay extra attention to details, cleanliness and safety for every patient. The environment is very peaceful and the equipment they use is up to date. My family has been going to see Dr. Hariri and his staff since we moved to the area in 2018. The staff is excellent and friendly and my kids actually enjoy going to the dentist. I had a filling and a crown replaced recently and have had no pain and zero issues. Definitely recommended!

Dr. Hariri, thanks for your response. Sad to say you are lying. At no point was it ever explained to me that my insurance couldnt be used. At no point was it explained that the promotion was for people with no insurance. In my last call to your office I asked one of your ladies to please send me a copy of the advertisement. Conveniently, she informed me that they had no copies of it. Today, in the UT I actually saw an advertisement about a special for a complete implant for $1899. It doesnt mention any parameters as to who can or cant take advantage of the offer. You could put this to rest by posting your advertisement proving me to be the one wrongly accusing you of a scam. I will be looking for it.Dr. Shahram Hariri in Carlsbad, CA is running a scam! I went to him as I saw an advertisement in which he would do a complete implant for $1999. Having had 2 previous implants I decided to take the offer. It turns out that when the time came to him to initiate the implant his office staff informed me that I had to 2 options. One was to pay the $1999 out of pocket or two, use my insurance but then be charged the usual fee of about $6600. In checking with my dental insurance to see if they would pay their portion of the advertised $1999 full cost of implant, they informed me that they would pay their portion, about 70% and I pay the balance. The only problem was that Dr. Hariri’s office would not submit the claim to Delta Dental as they said I had to choose from the 2 options I have listed. Their last explanation was that they were offering the $1999 offer to people with no insurance. That was something that was not in their advertisement or was told to me by anyone in his office. This is a definite scam. Dr. Hariri is offering a promotion that he is not willing to honor. I will never go to him again.

I highly recommend Dr. Hariri and his team at Carlsbad Shores Dentistry for everyone who appreciates a family-friendly, relaxed, and personal experience at your dentist. My entire family, wife and two kids, have been in Dr. Hariris care for 3 years now, Ive had multiple crowns done, and were so happy to have found a dentistry that puts the patient first, makes sure youre comfortable and pain free, and works around our needs and busy schedules to provide a perfect experience. Ive never before had a dentist who pays so much attention to me (and my slight paranoia regarding dental work), and his knowledge, skills, and personality are top notch! All thumbs up!!

I followed Dr. Hariri from Chicago to San Diego only because of his attention to detail and perfectionism. I am a dental lab technician and I know perfect. I had all my front teeth done in a smile makeover. I have never had a more comfortable dental experience in my life. I had absolutely no pain during and after. My completed smile looks phenomenal. I look 10 years younger and I receive compliments from friends and family continuously. The shape and shade of my teeth are perfect, spot on. My teeth were my worst part of my looks and my life has changed completely. Thank you Dr. Hariri, it was worth the trip and Dr. Hariri is one of the best cosmetic dentists in the west!

Dr. Hariri and his staff are great. They always go out of their way to take care of whatever your needs are - whether its coming in for an emergency, or just fitting you in at a convenient time for a checkup. Dr. Hariris technique is great and he always makes things as easy and painless as possible. Hes always upfront about what treatment youll need, but he never lectures you or makes you feel bad or guilty about whatever teeth problems you might have. Also, I appreciate that they seem to keep up with the latest technology and have amenities like TVs with Netflix set up at every chair.

Dr.Hariri and the staff are the best. I had some issues in the past with other dental work being infected and that would cause worse pain than the actual issue. But the work from Dr. Hariri - I had zero issues afterwards. And him and the staff were friendly and warm. I look forward to going back!

What really has kept me coming back is the office, cost and most of all the staff. The skill set of the staff is my main focus when choosing a dental office.I was lucky to have Kimia, whos actually new to the office this visit. Shes the reason Im taking a moment to write this review. Shes a highly skilled hygienist with eight years of experience. I can somewhat gauge the experience of a hygienist by how they perform a cleaning. Shes the one you want doing the work. She did a very thorough cleaning. I felt like a family member was helping me throughout the process.As for how the office is dealing with COVID. I feel theyve taken every step to eliminate your concerns. The staff all have masks and are even double masked in some cases. Temperature checks at the door before entering. You have paperwork to review and sign regarding your current health. The office has always been pristine so cleanliness has never been a concern. They have a clear barrier shield at check-in. They were running an air cleaner at my feet to help with purifying the air in my area and even one in the waiting room.The have all the latest or current equipment so you know they are fully invested and ahead of most practices. Ive always referred my family and friends to this office. When have you ever done that for a dentist?

I originally first visited Carlsbad Shores Dentistry as I was searching for a new Practice knowing that I had a needed upcoming treatment. My goal was to find the right Practitioner to perform the procedure at the highest possible standard without completely breaking the bank. What struck me about Dr. Sean Harriri, was firstly how personable and down to earth he was, and secondly, his strong track record in the field.After surveying two or three other Practitioners in comparison, it was clear that Dr. Harriri’s ethos was far more patient and treatment centric, versus maximizing revenue and profit. I’ve now been Dr. Harriri’s patient for the past year, and I can certainly say that he goes purely above and beyond with the dental care that he provides, and my oral health has never been better. I highly recommend at least setting up a consultation with Dr. Harriri if you are in search of a new Practitioner, and then making your own judgement from there.

My family has been coming here for several years now. I love how they work with me to get all of us in on the same day. Dr. Hariri is great with my kids and the hygienists are so patient. It’s nice to find a dentist for the whole family!

I was on vacation visiting family I had a dental issue while I was there and my family recommended Dr. Sean. I called and they got me in right away. What a wonderful person and great staff. His office is equipped with the latest equipment and technology, I got the work done quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Sean and his staff. I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation.

Dr. Hariri and staff were completely and utterly amazingly accommodating. Being pregnant and in excruciating pain, he comforted me and eased my pain immediately as a walk in. Gave me his # and I text and he responded immediately on his day off. No long waits in office, pain relief was a top priority. Text reminders a +. Dr. Sean was amazing. I was on vacation and had a filling start to cause me problems with lots of pain. His office manager got me right in on a Saturday. He talked me through a couple of options and helped me chose which I thought would be best. I made the wrong choice of what to do and ended up having a ton of pain the next day. I called him, and he was more than willing to take my call on a Sunday and helped me get the relief I needed. Then he text me and followed up multiple times to make sure I was feeling better. I was super happy with my visit. He was great.

Sean and his staff, Paris and Val, have been great in getting my dental health back in order. A few months ago, I needed an emergency root canal on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me in and fixed up by noon, no questions asked. Since then, Ive been back a few times - Val has been able to set up a treatment plan that provides the best bang for my buck and Paris and Sean have been taking great care of my teeth.I look forward to my future appointments knowing I am under their care.

I had such a great first experience at Carlsbad Shores Family Dentistry. For my first exam, they were forgiving of me being late, still went through a very detailed exam with explanation, answered all my questions, and took time to make me feel welcome and at ease with everything they were doing. I believe they truly do care for the patient and want the patient to walk out being happy to shine there smile! Will definitely recommend. =)

I have intense anxiety with dentists after a few bad experiences when I was younger. In the nearly twenty years since, this is the first dentist whos had me completely at ease. Dr. Hariri and ALL his wonderful staff are incredible, and the office itself really puts me at ease. The front lobby looks like a comfortable living room instead of a sterile waiting room, and they have Netflix on TVs to watch while theyre working on you! Great way to distract my anxious thoughts. They are extremely accommodating, and Dr. Hariri constantly checks in during a procedure to make sure Im doing okay. The rest of his staff makes me feel comfortable and welcome, theyre always so upbeat! I dont get the impression theyre just doing a job. My only regret is not finding them sooner!

My sister had a dental appointment so I went with her. When we arrived we were greeted with the warmest hello from the front desk worker. We got a tour of the office. It is a new office and some things are still in the works, but the stuff that was done so far was amazing. Even though I wasnt the patient, I was still treated with respect. I met the entire staff and they gave off a good vibe. When I need to go to a dentist, I know who to go to. Oh, and the office has nitrous in case anyone needs it and they also have a Pediatric dentist. The childrens wait area is in the works but the dentist said it would be a kids paradise.

As a military member I was looking for a dentist for my kids that accepted the met life military dental insurance. The facilities are phenomenal and the staff was fantastic. They catered to my girls and made everything for them a fun and comfortable experience. Would recommend to anyone looking in the north county area!

Had a extreme toothache that I was able to get an emergency appointment for here way sooner than other offices I checked with. They were able to relive all the extreme tooth pain I was experiencing so I wasnt hurting while waiting on the root canal appointment, during which they made sure I didnt feel a thing even after numbing wore off! Great people and complimentary Netflix made the root canal as easy and painless as possible. Highly recommend!

I have never liked going to the dentist until now. Their staff was so friendly and they made me feel very comfortable. They were very upfront and there were no surprises with my bill. I even got to watch netflix while getting my teeth cleaned! They earned their 5 stars! Thank you.

The cleaning was thorough, the X-rays painless, the staff amazingly friendly and professional. Dr. Hariri is warm, funny, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone obviously loves what they do, and they make seeing a dentist enjoyable. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The entire staff at this office are just simply amazing. They treat you like family and make you feel at home. Doctor Hariri himself always comes and greets you and welcomes you. They explain everything well and are very honest. The coffee in the morning is just a plus there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I drive from Kearny Mesa to see these guys, because they are the best dentistry Ive been to.

Could not have asked for a better experience, we were in a jam and out of town, this was the first place we could find on Google Maps near our location. My son had a tooth that we thought was cracked, he was very nervous being that he was only 10 years old and he was treated like their most important client. The office was immaculate and brand-new, if we lived in town I know our family would be customers. We would be coming back to see Dr. Sean Hariri and would recommend him to anyone with just our brief interaction. Thank you again and again.

The office manager charged me $97 “copay” for my child’s cavity. I found out later that delta insurance payed $68 out of the $97. I asked for a refund. The new office manager kept playing dumb and said it was the former manager who charged me and she couldn’t refund me.The dentist also used hygienists who came for interviews to clean my teeth by themselves, twice. A good way to make good money with free hygienists. Now I understand why I have been seeing different hygienists every time I went there for teeth cleaning.

I went to get teeth whitening and their service was great, staff were super kind and made you feel comfortable, and it had a very good waiting area with refreshments. I would definetly recommend this place and I will be coming back

Update 1 month post chip fix: I am now livid. The chip fill has fallen off and Im currently scheduling an appointment to have this fixed with my regular dentist........I went here ONCE to quickly have a chipped fix when my regular dentist could not fit me in. I left here basically feeling like my gums were completely rotting based on what they had told me. I was also pressured (think kiosk at the mall) to purchase a $200 toothbrush before I left when I said I really wanted to look around online for the best price option, they insisted on it. I then scheduled a DEEP cleaning based on their recommendation which was going to be over $300 out of pocket. (I have outstanding insurance Ive never paid for a cleaning) I decided to go back to my regular dentist. She sat me down, showed me photos of my teeth, explained how bone decay worked and even asked me if I had my teeth cleaned there as well because they looked so good. The SAME photos they showed me to determine my gums were in terrible shape were ACTUALLY marks that had been left by my braces as a teenager. Im convinced they looked at my insurance, saw what I could afford and tried to get money out of me. I havent heard from them since.

Not good. They charged our insurance for visits we didnt attend. Also, last spring they told me I needed 6 sealants, and I didnt know the difference so of corse I got them. But when I moved out of state and went a new dentist he told me that he sealants they put in were completely unnecessary, and that it was probably just a ploy to make money. Overall, me and my family did not have a good experience at this dentist and I would avoid if youre looking for a new dentist. They were very nice while I was there, but obviously very sneaky and unprofessional.

What an amazing experience! Personnel are exceptional. The office is new and clean. Paris cleaned my teeth using the latest technology; and she is GOOD. Dr. Tariri is a caring young dentist with a great personality. I was given a detailed treatment plan with priorities listed and each item was explained to me. I moved and it was difficult for me to change dentists after having my previous dentist for 30+ years, but I dont feel Im going to be disappointed with CSFD. I think Ill be keeping them for 30 years!!!!!

I love all of the staff in this office. Dr. Hariri is by far the best, most thorough, experienced, kind and professional dentist who genuinely cares about each and everyone of his patients. He has put together an amazing team that are all friendly and wonderful.Unfortunately, Ive been genetically jinxed with my teeth, therefore I have seen my fair share of dentists. I found Dr. Hariri back in his last practice in IL and he took such great care of me. I just so happened to wind up here in CA and was so happy to have found that he could again be my trusted dentist. Ive seen him for a retreated root canal, a crown, Invisalign, cavities, teeth whitening and all of which hes exceeded my expectations and has been by far the best in all areas in my very extensive experience. The technology is always the best available and he really takes his time explaining everything, and makes you feel comfortable. His passion shines through all he does. He is also sure to select the best staff to assist in building a phenomenal practice.Paris, the hygienist, is extremely personable and very sweet. She took her time to provide a great cleaning as well as provided helpful advice and tips. She really takes pride in her career and it exudes.Anna and Dawn are also amazing. I dont have a single complaint even in an environment that would typically cause anxiety and discomfort. Everyone does their best to put you at ease and really treats you as family.If you are searching for a new dentist, I highly recommend this one!

Found Carlsbad Shores Family through groupon to get teeth whitening & ended up making them my primary care providers. The office is new with high end technology but thats not the best part. . . I wish I had a before & after photo to show how amazing my teeth look now. Paris the dental hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my teeth ! She was so thorough and took her time in every nook & cranny. I had my teeth whitening done the following day by Dr.Hariri, they use Boost Oplaescence which contains 40% hydrogen peroxide so this stuff is no joke. Its done in two 20 minute sessions and truly gets your teeth significantly whiter. The front desk staff always greet me with a warm welcome & everyone there is just extremely nice. Ive gone through a lot of dentists in the past & Carlsbad Shores Family is definitely my favorite (:
