Friendly staff. Not climate controlled. Being so close to the ocean.. You will get moisture and salt on the ground. Protect your boxes and raise them above ground.

Lovely managers. Super helpful. Easy process. Best prices. I ran into one hiccup, and they resolved my issue on the spot. Would like a bit more light in the storage rooms, but that is a moot point. Would definitely recommend.

Want a cheap storage unit? This is your place. Need the office? Good luck. Once you speak to someone, they are nicest people and helpful. The hard part is finding someone to talk to.

I highly recommend Carlsbad Airport Self Storage. Corina and Chanel are AWESOME, super helpful, friendly and almost always available to answer a question or help! They have really good options and pricing depending on your needs of a drive-up unit, indoor ground floor unit or a more economical second floor unit. The property is always clean and the hallways are wide so when moving things around, very accessible and easy to get in and out. Again, highly recommend!

I really appreciate the staff at the front desk. Very helpful. The lighting on the 2nd floor keeps going off and I had a bad experience, because of that problem. The girls at the office bandaged my ankle. Bled pretty bad, bruised and swollen, I went to Kaiser, Waiting for Xrays, but Ive been resting it. Couldnt see, I tripped and a glass hit my front ankle. And then, it fell onto the floor and broke into 3 big pieces. A Bad Experience! Be careful out there. Owners should keep a safe building. Im sorry, but I must have missed pressing the 🌟s adequately. The young lady, Janelle, acted so quickly to my injury. Very sweet and professionally. I want to thank her deeply. She gave me great service, regarding my storage space, also. All the young ladies are very professional that work there.

Carina and Tillie are super helpful and friendly. There are several storage places around. I chose this one because of the great prices, but the great service is an added bonus.

My sofa was ruined by rats getting into my shed and tearing through the wrapping on my sofa and destroying it. It’s been over 3 months and I have yet to receive the compensation for the damage . They are liars and crooks . DO NOT STORE here.

Triee to reserve a unit, drove 5 hours only for them to tell me theu cant do it at 535 pm because they need 30 mins and they close at 545. They told me on the phone 6pm. I cannot stongly recommend enough that people stay away from companys like this.

Not 5 ONLY because the door stopper is ALWAYS missing. I have been a tenant of Carlsbad Airport Self Storage for several years and have been happy with the organization. Under a prior management I was able to have a phone call a few days before the rent was due. My wife and I have served as management team with several San Diego self storage companies since we retired. I have ask the desk clerk to do this courtesy several times as was the practice before. I got a phone call a few days ago advising my rent was due. I thanked the clerk and provided a credit card for the payment (a card that had been used before). When I received, in my email a receipt for payment, a late charge was included.I check the date of the transaction, sure enough it was a day late. I find it very interesting that the phone reminder was made after the due day. Has the office staff been so busy that the phone call could not have been a day earlier eliminating the late charge. Score one for management. A few days later I received another statement advising that my payment was due giving the period in which the payment should be made to avoid any late charges AND was advised that my bill was including a dollar charge for the statement. Score two for the management. I did NOT request a statement be sent to me. Score three for management. During my several years with the Carlsbad Airport Storage I have had a few late charges having overlooked the due date hence my request to have a phone call. I do appreciate that business demands payments be made on time I also consider a courtesy phone call advising a due date. Has the urge to generate revenue superseded a few seconds of time for the clerk to make a short phone call. Thanks for the opportunity to make my voice heard.Lee Minks

Good & clean storage units. The price is fair overall.

Storage Unit Rental & Use of Truck - Unit was 10 x 20 drive up and interior was slightly dirty needing a sweeping. As Google insists on providing a rate and review before any real evaluation time has past, I have little to say about the unit at this point. The staff (Brian) was very helpful and they allow use of a truck to move your items into storage. Truck was great with 2 pads, cart provided plus a good built-in ramp to allow loading. You will pay $20 for the insurance on the truck but a 20 mile total range is included with the use. It was a little tight on the time of use as the return time is before 4 PM and you need to be ready to load/unload quickly. My only possible future concern at this point in time is that the concrete floor showed signs of water seepage but that may be to higher-than-normal rainfall in the prior months and therefore an anomaly.

I had my belongings at Carlsbad Storage for just over 6 years and was not in touch that often but when I was, everyone was very friendly and most important, I felt my belongings were safe and in good hands. The area felt very safe and I give Carlsbad Storage thumbs up.

The first 6 months is a great deal then they real jump the price up. Seemed like office always closed but they only had one person working now the have hired more people.

Totally incompetent staff & management. Bills for services not provided & incapable of correcting their mistakes. Continually makes illegal business practices & is the worst self-storage facility in San Diego County.
