Weight area seems fine.Classes are great-teachers guve you a very good workout.The room the Classes are in needs a upgrade. I was told they would be doing that but not seen anything at this point. Ceiling and floors need repair.Website needs to be updated when Classes are changed. Friendly environment. Hope these things can be upgraded.

Great gym! Not too busy. Good amount of equipment and classes available. I wish that they had that they had few more options but way of a Jacobs Ladder and maybe another rower, but thats personal. Otherwise, my only real complaint would be that a contract is attached.

Platinum Fitness in Carlisle, PA is a great place to come and grab a workout. They have a great selection of weight machines, cardio machines and my favorite; an area to do Olympic lifts. They also have an area with a heavy bag and Harmony In Motion physical therapy who is available for members and non members. Go check them out

Recently joined this gym and it’s a great place for a beginner. The classes are great and super welcoming to a newbie. The employees are always friendly and wiping down equipment and the trainers are knowledgeable.

I’ve been training here a few years and am very impressed with the way they have upgraded and expanded the equipment available. It’s a great gym with friendly staff, and a good group of regulars who train hard. I’m there several times a week and always look forward to my time there training and staying in shape. I really don’t think you can beat the environment and availability of equipment, especially for the money. A really great value.

Platinum fitness is the best gym in the surrounding area, with many options for cardio and weightlifting. They have good quality equipment and they keep the gym very clean! The staff are very friendly and over all platinum fitness is a great gym.

Ive been to gyms such as Planet Fitness & YMCA and this is the best gym for intermediate to experienced lifters. It has all the equipment you ever need and is decently clean. Best gym Ive been to.Only criticism is to replaced damaged cushions on some of them machines.

My membership ended in May. On July the 2nd you tried to charge me club fees well it was returned for not having the funds. I was charged $29.00. Now on the 10th of July you charged me $71.49 for club fees. Im pretty sure thats not how much the fees are. Even so Im not a member anymore so I shouldnt have been charged at all. The way I see it you owe me $100.49.

It’s A Gym

The staff cleans the machines and floors often that it always feels clean, and they talk to other members who arent practicing gym etiquette. There are lots of different machines that anyone can focus on a specific body part. The age gap is wide, so no one should ever feel intimidated or shamed if youve never gone to the gym or fell like you will be judged.

Missing a lot of equipment, most of machines are old and run down. All the machines cushions needs replaced and they also need lubed up or repaired. Building is clean though.

Hours of operation say till 8 pm it is 6pmIm being charged full monthly rate for access to a gym that isnt open when they advertise they will be. Hows that fair?

Absolutely love this place... great place to workout. The atmosphere and people really keep me motivated.

What was Gold’s is now better in every way: place is super clean, machines are brand new or in the process of being replaced, and the staff is great. Best gym in Carlisle!

Carlisle golds recently became platinum fitness. When we went in for class today we were blindsided with a new fee of 40 to take classes instead of what we were already paying. No notification was given to us ahead of time. I asked to cancel my membership immediately and was told that not only would my March fee not be refunded but that I will still have the pay for the month of April due to their 31 day cancellation policy. This is unacceptable and and just plain bad business practices. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that he does not speak to members about membership. You have lost a longtime member and I will be reporting your business practices as well, since I do not give authorization to charge me for the month of April. I did not sign your 31 day cancellation policy when I signed up 10 years ago. You can’t in good practice inform people of a price change AND refuse cancellation on the same day. You have to give people some warning. Also I have heard from others that they are charging a $100 cancellation fee. Truly terrible customer service, I am hoping to spread the word so others won’t be treated this way!

When I went to ask about a sign that said closed until further notice. I was told it was my fault I did not call them instead of the business sending an email. If you like working out on busted machines and bent dumbbells this is the place for you.

7/13/19 its past 7:00am on a Saturday and there no staff here and its not a holiday..... whats going on... its 7:20am right now.

I reccomend pple going definitely changed the place around clean and environment is good.
