I went in to get a cute short cut with a shaved side. Something super cute and trendy what I left with was the opposite. My hair is shaved completely, and all I am left with is 2 inches of bang. Your hair is everything if it doesnt look good you dont feel good. I am beyond mortified. I have a wig coming in the mail. The manager was far from understanding she was kind of rude and said I should have gone to a barber to get that haircut. I wish I would have known that before I trusted Her to do it.

When booking my appointment I asked for a gel specialist. Upon entering, The girl at the desk was friendly and attentive. I waited for Peyton and off rip I could tell this was not going to be the fun experience I was hoping for; she didnt introduce herself, didnt talk to me about what it was I wanted to do with my nails- she just sat down and got straight to work. Watching her work was troubling to me as she struggled with the builders gel and was working on several nails at a time- thus causing pooling problems and heat spikes in the lamp. However, the other techs appeared friendly and the salon is stunning! If I was interested in acrylic I would give it another shot, but unfortunately I will be going to the salon that had to fix Ms. Peytons work.

I love going here, very sweet ladies with wicked talent! I thought the prices were going to be out the roof but in reality theyre fairly well priced! Super happy to finally find a great place

Very pleasant experience. The stylist listened to what I wanted and provided me with a few options. She checked in with me quite often to make sure I was comfortable and that I was happy with the way my cut and blow dry was progressing. Employees are friendly and helpful and it is a very busy and active salon.

I was impressed! A friend referred me to Natasha. She was super and did a beautiful job on my nails and gave me a great pedicure! Nail salon was nice and clean. Everyone was really friendly. I give them 5 stars!

My nails turned out wonderful =) My only problem was that my nail tech was a little harsh. Shes probably done nails for so long that its muscle memory for her at this point and I dont blame her because she seemed and felt very confident. She cut me a couple times with the drill because she was going so fast. That is something a band aid can fix though. I just wish she would be a little more gentle because some people would not be as understanding or have the pain tolerance I have. Other then that I would for sure come again! (I didnt say her name on the review because I dont know if she would be ok with me putting her name online without her permission)

I am from Pennsylvania which is where I get my hair done normally. I winter in Florida. Several years ago, I had to fly to Austin for an event and I made an appointment for a haircut with Pro Files. I had a really tight schedule. I arrived at the salon on time but after a 45 minute wait, I left without a haircut because I did not allow for a delay that long in my tight schedule. Fast forward to November 2020. Due to COVID, my PA stylist had a huge back log and could not fit me in before I left PA. I decided to give Pro Files another try. When I called in, I specifically informed the person who answered the phone that I have curly hair and I needed a stylist that was skilled at cutting curls. I was surprised that I was scheduled the same day that I called in. I arrived on time and then I waited a half hour before a gal took me back to wash my hair. She was not the assigned stylist, she was just getting the ball rolling for Emily who was still working on another clients hair. I explained to Emily that I was long overdue for a haircut thanks to COVID and I needed my hair shortened significantly. I showed her two photos of short styles I have had in the past that I liked. One was a wedge cut and the other was a Pixie cut. I also showed her three photos of short curly styles to choose from that I would rather have than the wedge that had grown out of control. Emily talked me out of the short curly cuts and said she would restore the wedge. She did shorten the back at the bottom but she did not layer it so that it stacked. Then, rather than restoring they layering of the rest of my hair, she took microscopic clippings off of what was at least three inches overgrown. I told her that I was not happy with the cut and that I wanted it shorter, more layered. Emily was a really nice gal, polite and did her best to please me but as she tried to accommodate my request, her cutting skills declined. She finally told me that if I wanted a short cut, I should come back and have Denise do my hair, she was the person for short curly hair. So I paid $30 for a bad haircut that is much worse than I knew before I left the salon, and gave a cash tip for effort in spite of being very unhappy with the haircut. I went in to get my hair cut short and what I have is a very uneven, unstacked wedge. I run a business and I do the scheduling. If a person is late for an appointment, that person gets rescheduled, not all the people who are scheduled after them. If I am going to lose a customer, it will be the one who was not courteous enough to be on time, not the string of clients who were on time and patiently waiting. Pro Files needs somebody to answer the phone that listens to the request and cares enough to make it happen. I specifically asked for a stylist skilled at cutting curly hair. Emily, a really nice stylist, verbally told me that she is not skilled at cutting curly hair, but Denise is. The person who answered the phone is the person who should have provided that information, before I spent the time and the money for a lousy cut. Money is tight. I am not happy with this salon. I am not happy with my uneven, unlayered, unstacked wedge. I know how difficult curls can be. That is why I specifically asked for a stylist skilled at working with curly hair. Nuff said.

Highly experienced artist style nail art for your nails. For that special occasion I highly recommend them. I needed to have my hands look great for a friends handmade jewelry photo op. My technician had wonderful creative ideas and did a wonderful job following through. I waited about 10 minutes before I was seated. Not bad at all for no appointment.

Love this busy, trendy place. My stylist Danielle is very talented and can do magic with all types of hair (curly, straight,long, short, thinning, regular etc) and is also good with color. They have a good selection of product. The only thing i dont like is the very strong odor from the nail chemicals. They need better ventilation. I feel bad for those girls who work there and have to smell this everyday.

I gave this place two attempts and definitely will not be back! My whole right hand had nothing but crocked nails and the tech had the nerves to charge $63 and it was not even a full set!

Made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed, my first time at this place. The girl who did my eyebrows was nice, professional and friendly. But the actual job was terrible. I ended up going to another place after because there was so much that she had missed. She didn’t take tweezers to get whatever the wax missed and after she asked if it looked good and gave me a mirror but the lighting was terrible and I couldn’t tell until I got home. Super bummed by this experience.

I made an appointment but they still made me wait 30 minutes. I got a full set and it was so thick, the polish was done in a rush, ended up looking nothing like the picture I took for reference. I also got a pedicure done....and that was another disappointment, I asked for the top package that included the paraffin and that was the only good thing. I got no foot massage, they didnt clean around the nail and the polish job was not good. Overall I left there with a dent in my wallet and disappointed. I do not recommend this place.

One day I called to make a appointment and I accidently made a appointment at the pine island location and I have been satisfied ever sense. My nails are always looking great!!!

I live in Ft Lauderdale and I was introduced to this place by my best friend, who lives in Cape Coral, while I was visiting...I love it here! The people and atmosphere are top-notch!! I love it so much that I drive over once a month from Ft Lauderdale to get my nails done with Michele. I seriously have not been able to find anyone over on my side of the Alley that can do as good a job. The customer service and the quality of the work cant be beat...I just love my nails since Ive been coming over to ProFiles to get them done!! :)

Greeted by friendly staff. Love their nail designs as well. And its one of the reasons I chose them but I shouldve done more research on them. They only do acrylic nails and by that I mean they dont add the plastic nail tip but its all acrylic. Well the lady that did mine put the acrylic to thin and by the third day one broke, just by me taking off my hair tie. The fourth day three more broke by just me scratching my back. She put the acrylic to thin on my actual nail and thick on the tip. Well I called another nail salon to ask them about it and she told me to explain to her how they look and what happened and she said Profiles staff did a poor job on it, it shouldnt be breaking that easily specially in the same week! Well as much as I liked their friendly staff and nail designs, I must say I am greatly disappointed and sadly will not come again. I already went to Profiles to get them repaired for another nail to be broken the next day? No, I dont do things twice for the same thing. I paid a substantial amount of money for this to be happening. They are not cheap.

The ladies were really nice, and my nails look great. But I told the one who did my nails that I have very thin and very brittle nails, so to be cautious when she buffs them for gel polish. She than proceeded to drill off the top layer of my nail.As I was taking the gel off (I’m in student cosmetology, and we have our gel nails professionally removed) my NAIL PLATE started to come off with it. There are holes in my nail PLATE because she did not heed my warning.As beautiful as the nails were, I now have holes. I will not be going back here.

Lianet is FABULOUS!! I like to get a very sharp stiletto shape and she is the only person thats ever been able to get them how I like them. The edge lasts till my next fill without getting dull. I give her a color scheme and let her do whatever she wants and always love what she comes up with!! Shes awesome!!!

My first time at this location was Tuesday, December 19, 2017 and Cassandra gave me a Shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. Cassandra was down to earth, friendly, warm and professional. No doubt that I will be back to see Cassandra. I prefer this location over the Del Prado location. 1000%

I wont be back, 35 dollars for simple and FAST pedicure is a bit much.The pedicure was very fast, in and out in 30 min.I wouldnt mind paying 35 dollars if they did a massage and paraffin wax treatment. She didnt even put a hot towel on my legs. I was very disappointed.

I go here all the time and I receive the best service! My nails last for weeks and never lift I also get gel toes and the colors they have to choose from are amazing. I always find ideas I want on Pinterest and every tech Ive gone too does it exactly like the picture. I made an appointment and still sat there for 30 minutes after my appointment and still had not been seen not once they see how much longer I ask them and she could not give me an answer they just act like they dont care. I followed Nicki to this location because to customer service downtown is so horrible! This location is A LOT cleaner and the ladies are so sweet . One day I had a nail emergency and the owner, Elaina, stayed open late to do my nails !!! I thought that was pretty awesome. I absolutely love this location. Del Prado location is okay, but you can cut the tension with a knife there.
