Awesome, Awesome experience. If youre into football like I am, this is the place to be. Little movie theaters around the whole building. Snack bar affordable. And the gift shop is everything youve ever dreamed of. Definitely a place to bring the family. You wont be board. Stay all day and enjoy the history of football.
Despite all the construction, WORTH IT! It was a bit crowded for a weekday but we managed. The layout can be a bit confusing so take your time. A lot of reading in not always the best lighting makes the many touch-screens throughout showing short videos helpful. I highly recommend watching these. The Locker Room experience was amazing with holograms and very energizing. It is VERY LOUD!The Super Bowl movie was well done but we didnt get the reasoning behind the rotating floor from a very large movie screen to an even larger movie screen. But it was a great highlight reel of the 2020 Super Bowl. and VERY LOUD!Bring a light sweater, reading glasses and money for the great NFL shopping.
What a cool place, we visited during enshrinement weekend so it was pretty crazy, but fun. Really cool museum lots to do and see. Really nice exhibits and facilities. A must stop for any football fan young or old! While youre there dont forget to explore some other local spots in Canton. Be adventurous!
If youre an NFL fan, this is the place to go! They only show 3% of the collection at a time. All the different exhibits are amazing. You can walk through the NFL timeline from the beginning Gridiron, up to the current Superbowl. Go into the locker room in a holographic theater. Look at all the SuperBowl rings from the beginning to present winners. See all the Hall of Fame inductees heads and the original Lombardy trophy. The cafe isnt open Tuesdays or Thursdays. The shop has every team and so many great gift ideas! 10% Military discount also. You cant see it all in one day, give yourself two or more days if you want to read and look at everything. Admission is Adults (13-64) $26.75, Children (6-12) $19.26.
Today was my first opportunity to visit the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio. What a magical experience it was!We ended up staying 4+ hours! The locker room hologram experience was my favorate exhibit outside of seeing my 20 Dallas Cowboy inductees! Seeing the top 300 legends of the game out of the 27,000 that played in the NFL and learning the history of the game was definitely a surreal experience every football fan has to add to their bucket list.
PROS: This is the reason for why I went to Canton to begin with. It was great seeing the history behind the NFL, even the teams that are no longer playing. They had everything ranging from bust, jerseys, contracts, field memorabilia, signed pictures, used merchandise, and a HUGE gift shop to back everything upCONS: It took us maybe 1.5 hours to go through everything despite them saying it takes 3 hours. So I was a little disappointed in how little there was. Dont get me wrong, there was a good amount, just not as much as I thoughtOVERALL: If youre a true NFL fan and you have the ability to come here...DO IT! No matter what team you like whether its as old as the Bears or as new as the Texans you will like something
I am not a fan of football, but my 9 yo son wanted to go. This place is HUGE. Lots to look at. A lot of history. Love the super bowl rings and busts. Very interesting overall. He had a great time and was engaged the whole time.Only complaint- admission seems very pricey, not much of a discount for kids. But again, he is a huge football fan.
We loved it. I gave it 4 stars only because I thought it was expensive especially for children. We spent almost 5 hours there. My kids loved the outdoor field, xbox, movies, & gift shop. There is a lot to see and learn about football here. We have smaller kids so their attention span is short but I could have spent even more time there if I had read everything. The staff is friendly & helpful. The bathrooms are clean. There is plenty of parking.
We were visiting Akron, Ohio for the week so that my dad could attend his Naval reunion. He wanted to visit the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. I have to say I probably enjoyed it a whole lot more than he did. The only reason I did not give it a 5-Star was the cost. Tickets start at $28 and parking is $10. Dont even get me started on the cost of items in the gift shop. They did have a section of marked down/sale items that were only discounted a couple dollars (Really!!!). My dad was given a discount for being a veteran, but we still spent $58 for the two of us. As much as I wanted a t-shirt, I could go online and buy a much nicer, better quality t-shirt for a WHOLE LOT LESS. And no Im not exaggerating. Also one of the theaters was closed down and a few items missing from the displays. Additionally, I didnt think it flowed very well. We did get a map, but kept going in circles and getting lost. Thank goodness for the volunteers/employees for directing us. Not even sure if we saw everything. All in all, like I stated previously, I enjoyed myself. Im somewhat of a history buff, and the place is loaded with interesting facts and memorabilia. I truly enjoyed the Super Bowl theater of the recap of this past years Super Bowl. Awesome game. Its definitely a must visit, just save your money.
Great place to learn about the NFLs history and the players that made it what it is. It will take several hours to get through the hall of Fame including two movies. Giving it a 4 star since there was only one interactive experience where you were able to review a play to determine if the referee called the petty correctly.
For me it was an experience of a lifetime. Im a diehard football fan, but I never really thought that I would ever be a part of something like the Enshrinement Weekend. It was so well organized and so thrilling that my husband and I felt like MVPs for the entire 4 days that we were there. If you are truly a football fan you should try to go to Canton for that weekend. Youll love it like we did.
It was so cool! I loved seeing where football begin and seeing all the new and old uniform pieces they had on site. Even had some fun interactive stuff like a review booth game and some comparison things .. hands, legs, arm muscles. Lots of interesting video clips... Loved the room of everyone inducted into the hall of Fame. I called it the room of heads... Im told theyre called busts? Lol it was a neat experience all around... And huge gift shop at the end. Small parking lot though...
The experience was cool but the museum itself is severely in need of an update. Many outdated stats and records still posted around the building. Very minimal interactive opportunities.
Move, Be Thankful for your gifts, Believe in the Possibility, no matter what you look like there is a purpose for YOU if you put God 1st!!!Last nights speeches resonated between listen to an old spiritual hymn to a little funk in my ride..Tonights HOF speeches are under the way....2020 speeches set the tone for another unforgettablePro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival night!!Picture Credit Les Rutland Photography
Could seriously be in here ALL day long. You would need a whole day to enjoy and really look at each individual head! The locker room, holographic show thing is so intense itll give you goosebumps:)
Loved every second of our visit. Amazing how football becomes a touch stone to life and people in our lives. If you are near, I suggest you go...
Every football fan should visit this amazing place. So much great history! The hologram of Joe Namath was Awesome!
We had a amazing time. We went to the Museum as well and next door was the stadium for the game. We spent the whole day. A great experience. Checked on the bucket list.
Awesome experience! It was the highlight of the day.
Super Cool! The walls of all the busts is amazing. Went Friday of Enshrinement weekend. After hearing Payton Mannings speech, I too can believe they still line up and play when they turn off the lights and lock the doors!
Friendly helpful staff. If your a military veteran with ID ask for a discount. Not sure if its a great place for young kids unless its HOF week. Great history about how the NFL was established but it does skip some facts for example, The hall mentions that the Chicago cardinals moved to Arizona but fails to mention the stop in St. Louis or at least the plaque I read did. Watch out for the traffic or I should say be prepared to race.
Very enjoyable experience. The marketing materials could have been clearer but we enjoyed the hall the gold jacket tailgate and the enshrinement.
We went to watch the game. Awesome stadium. Great fans. Had a blast!
Had a great visit to the Pro Football HOF. They have a great timeline about the progression of football as we know it today. Really nice display of memorabilia and some life size displays of body/hand molds. I was alittle taken back to the price of admission. Over all it is a really cool place to remember the game. My daughter even thought is was cool and kept asking questions of the players whom I always talked about. BTW --- 85 Bears and 07 Colts.
Heaven on earth. The hairs literally stood up on my arm watching the Virtual Reality in the locker room when Lombardi and Halas spoke. My eyes began to water up after seeing everything, especially the Superbowl in which I was born on. If youre a diehard or just a fan this is a place you have to visit.
Great place to visit especially if you are a professional football fan. Lots of good historical info on how the modern day NFL came to be.The video short on the Super Bowl only focuses on the most recent one. I wish it instead covered key Super Bowl moments over the years. The parking lot isnt that big. Not sure where overflow parking is. If you dont want to find out, get there early.
Former Las Vegas Raiders & Grambling Legends Sports Hall of Fame Athlete Andrew Poncho Glover of Pro Player Promotions visits the Pro Football Hall of Fame during Black College Football Hall Of Fame Classic Weekend #BCFHOFClassic21 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium #BCFHOFClassic2021 in Canton, OH.#ProPlayerPromotions #PonchoGlover8782#Event_Fotoz by #Daquante_Capion of Capions Fire Fotoz for ProPlayerPromotions.com#Event_Reel Coming Soon...
It was my first visit and loved it. Lots of interesting exhibits and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
A lot to see. The short films were fun. Great gift shop too!!!
Had a great time today at the HOF with 1 of my sons and 1 of my grandsons. I havent been there since I was a young teenager, over 40 years ago. Very interesting to see the improvements and the future development. I wont wait 40 years to go back, I wont live that long.
Anyone who loves football 🏈 should see this. Well worth the trip
We visited the NFLHOF on 9/26/2021. It was an awesome experience. The staff permitted us to try on the super all rings and even take photos. This was very special for my entire family. I found the three male staff that worked the second floor excellent. I am a sports photographer and found the photos too notch. Keep up the good work. D
A must-see if youre a fan of football.... The entire tour was amazing... So many interesting displays and football history information... A truly exceptional experience... I loved it!
If youre an NFL fanatic like me, you need to come to Canton at least once. I had never been before, but came for the Hall of Fame Game (Steelers vs. Cowboys) on 8/5/21. We visited the HOF first before attending a tailgate party, and then the HOF game itself that night. The HOF itself is definitely awe-inspiring if youre really into football. Remember that one major play your team made in that one Super Bowl? The HOF has something relating to that. Want to see every Super Bowl ring your team has ever won? They have them. Want to pose with the Lombardi Trophy (or a collection of five of them)? Check, and check. For me, the busts were definitely the highlight, but there was plenty of other memorabilia to knock your socks off every step of the way. And oh my lord the MERCH they have available! If yall are ever looking for some NFL-related merch you cant find anywhere on line, come to the HOF Ill bet you they have it or something else youll want!I could nit-pick here or there about things but all in all I had a great time and Im glad I went at least once ... though I may try to convince the wife to come back again someday!
Everything was so well done. Truly can never forget being there for enshrinement.
Well worth $24 + $10 for parking.Much better than I was expecting.Liked all the touch screens. And the locker room talk with a hologram of Joe Namath, was outstanding!
Great time and very educational. Be sure to attend all the shows and maybe you will see Steve the virtual tour guide. He bring new meaning to teleworking. Lol
Pretty much like any other museum. Im a huge NFL fan and was disappointed that it was mostly video, printed pictures, statues, and artifacts. Zero interactivity. I didnt see any objects for the Oilers. It would be nice if they had a section for each team. Interactivity could be touch an actual football. I mean its 2021 they cant do some hologram or something. Surely with the giant budget the NFL could spot this place some money to really increase the experience. This was basically the Smithsonian of football. Maybe thats a good thing for most but it was just par for the course.
We had a great time at the hall of fame, had to pay for parking and tickets but had a nice couple of hours inside the hall.
Learned a lot more than I expected too. This place is also bigger than I expected. My 14-year-old son and his friend enjoyed it as well as my boyfriend and I.
We had a great time it was a lot of fun! Very polite and helpful staff!
This place is so Amazing!! So much to see & do.Great place to take any football fan.Be sure to see the show in The Game For Life Theater!
This place is amazing! So many things to see and do! If youre going give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the tour!! Great for the whole family!!
Lots of history! We visited a week before the 2021 game so all the parking lots in front were closed. The provided a shuttle so it was ok.Go Bucs!!
A Once In A Lifetime event for every NFL ... And the Great David Baker is the perfect Captain Of This Ship. JMAC
Just left the NFL Hall of Fame 2021 induction ceremony and it was amazing,.. between Calvin Johnson and Charles Woodson and all the things that they talked about .....it was an experience Ill never forget.
My son loves this place. Ticket prices are reasonable. You can see the busts of all your favorite enshrined HOFers. We spent 2.5 hours here, but could have easily spend more time. The staff were awesome. We learned all about the SB rings and what the NFL pays for and what the teams pay for.
The Pro Football HoF was so cool that you can see all your favorite NFL teams and players
Great place to go. Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed it 🙂
If you are a football fan, live in the area or live ANYWHERE on Earth you HAVE to visit this place. Ive loved this sport all of my life. From playing it to watching it. This facility is state of the art, has interactive displays and you can literally learn all there is to know about Pro Football. Great for kids, adults and the elderly. I went by myself but you can go with groups and they have guides that walk and talk you through everything. The gift shop is reasonably priced but keep in mind, like any gift shop, things can be costly at times. Overall a wondrous experience. I will be coming back for many years to come.
Fantastic, can’t say enough about it. Well put together walk through NFL history. Something is there for a fan of every team.
Awesome exciting experience,my wife #24 running back from Louisville KY won the championship game! Congratulations everyone
Great place to check out if your are an American Football aficionado.
Im not a major NFL fanatic, but I was thoroughly impressed by the HOF in Canton! Inspiring!
Call before you go to be sure they are not closed for a private event!!!! (Even if there is no closed notice on the website- try calling to be sure!)I’m super bummed. I am a big enough football fan that I’ve always wanted to go to Canton. My hubby & I were going to go in March 2020, but Covid happened. We rescheduled to go in 2021 as part of a larger Ohio trip. We drove in from Columbus & had lunch in Canton (because we saw the HOF cafe was closed), & got there around 12:30. When we walked in, the museum was “closed for a private event from 2-4 pm.” This wasn’t on the website & the staff didn’t even know (This was not the staff’s fault, they were very nice). We later realized it was because the Ohio State University had rented out the museum. I am so disappointed in this museum. I understand having private events, but your fans come from out of the area to go visit the HOF and clearly they don’t care enough to even give them notice. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. I know the NFL and the HOF are businesses but it was painful to feel unimportant and to see how little they care about their fans.
The A Game for Life exhibit is a spectacular cutting-edge, multi-sensory immersive theater that includes holographic representations of Hall of Fame legends Joe Namath, George Halas and Vince Lombardi was unbelievable powerful!!!Whether you are a football fan or not, the Football Hall of Fame is a must see!
Awesome history and displays. Got goosebumps several times!
Gives a nice background and history of football. The busts of many famous players was impressive in quality and number. The most interesting exhibit to me was the super bowl rings, showing how they got more expensive and elaborate over time. But I feel like a really rabid football fan may be left wanting more.
Went and seen the Hall of Fame 2021 enshrinement . I had a great time and experience.
Good place for football fans, although a bit.pricey ($28) especially considering parking ($10). Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Trying to be more high tech than neccessary....i.e. a Joe Namath hologram? A theater which rotated for no apparent reason?
This place is huge! From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but it took us three hours to go through. Very cool place.
Cleanest museum ever. Nicely laid out. Interesting displays and two great theater experiences. The busts, the super bowl rings and the finalists in a photography contest were my favorites. Great visit after a weekend in Cleveland.
Let me preface this review by saying, Im not a football fanatic. Sure, Ill attend a game or two and cheer on my favorite team. Ill watch a game if its on. But, I dont plan my weekends around watching the game.So the fact that Ive given this place 5 stars says something....The location is easily accessible and while they are doing some repaving of the parking lot, not a big deal. From the moment you walk in the door, you are instantly draw into the birth of the NFL. The layout of the museum is logical and chronological from the early days of football to the current day.The displays are thoughtfully designed and artfully lit-they flow naturally from one to the next. They are not overcrowded with a ton of artifacts so that you feel overwhelmed (thats not to say that there are not a significant amount of artifacts but rather, they are arranged so that you can really appreciate them individually). The hall of fame presents football as a part of our American history, which I completely enjoyed. It shows the humble roots of the sport as we know it (and love it, even if marginally). You can get a stand alone ticket or a combo ticket (called a hall pass) to also visit the Rock and Roll HOF in nearby Cleveland. Its definitely worth the visit- Im sorry that I waited so long to visit.
A lifetime dream fulfilled. Staff is very, very, very professional and friendly. My uncle is a HOFer. Dave Robinson. They treated him like royalty.
Awesome displays of Raiders excellent and football history.
My first time visiting and I had a memorable experience I will never forget this adventure I most enjoyed the staff and how informative they were. I love you huys!!
Very helpful staff.I did sense that not many African American shopping didnt come around much. Was offered a free tour of the Museum and a photo shoot and allowed to purchase whichever background for a reasonable price. Shopping experience was pretty pleasant and delightful. Very engaged workers whom went above to met customers needs.
Was a great time. Learned a lot of history. Was visiting with a group comprised from Shriners International sports committee.
Super cool locker room experience got me hyped up I understand due to covid limited interactive stuff but was still kinda a bummer
Great day today. The restrictions of movement required due to Covid-19 do make it a little harder to get through the exhibits. Other odd thing is they have the restrictions but dont limit how many people are allowed in at once and it was crowded
Its the Hall of Fame you know already know I think that the heads all talk during the night why nobodys there its a beautiful place wish they would have had a bigger facility so you can show you more
My husband left like this was the fulfillment of his life dream !
My husband was in thrilled every step through it. He is a big football buff. And hid idol was in there. Bob lily.
Not being a huge football fan, I had hoped to see more momentos from the past and more history of the game. I felt it was glossed over a bit. Also, on top of the entry fee they charge $10 parking, which isnt noted up front and you only find out when you buy a ticket, which I found a tad dishonest. But then again, the NFL is all about making money and considering how much it costs to park at a game, I guess I should have expected it. At least I didnt have to pay $15 for a beer, although I didnt check the cafe. 😁Hardcore fans no doubt enjoyed it but I left feeling a little ripped off and see no reason to return.
Great experience . Walking at your leisure. Dont miss the 2 movies, fun and informative.
I went to the Enshrinement for 2021 and everything was orderly and Top notch! If you rode the shuttle from the parking place ( Fairgrounds) you had to wear a mask, rest of time was optional. Just seeing the busts and all the history in the museum was amazing! If you get a chance to go, then go check it out 👍
Top service from the staff. Even a mistake in purchase was corrected by the staff. I appreciate the effort it is not every day you get that.
Everything was wonderful and everyone was kind and polite. It was a great learning experience as well.
For a 20+ year HS football coach and a fan of the NFL my entire life, it was an AWESOME experience! We stayed for almost 5 hours and really I could spend another 5 without hesitation! So many cool things! This is a must visit at least once for anyone who loves football or wants to learn to love it!
Dan was our tour guide & he was awesome!
Always an amazing experience if youre a football fan theres a must to go there to see everything thats going on all the displays uniforms and going back in time and seeing the old kickback uniforms in the old NFL teams or AFL teams there are no longer in existence.
So much history, so much to see! If your a fan of the game, your a fan of this place.
It was everything I thought it would be and literally more cause they always only show the little juicer looking building on TV but theres a whole other building attached the back side 😆
First time visitor and loved it. Been an extreme football fan my entire life and live only 45 mins away, but never been here. Loved it!!! My first team I liked were the Chiefs back in the late 6Os and early 70s...loved all the Chiefs memorabilia from that era, as well as everything else. A football fans heaven.
A very nice HOF; the presentation of the busts lends an air of importance, and the artifacts run the gamut from pro footballs formative years to the present day. It was fun finding my fellow Iowa Hawkeyes among the honorees, as well as former Minnesota Vikings such as Tarkenton, Randle, and Moss.
Awesome place fun events for HOF weekend,,,Dalas Cowboys Nation!!!!!
What an awesome shrine to one of the icons of American entertainment. The staff is helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, and very friendly. They do a wonderful job of engaging the kids. While most of the exhibits are a testament to the rich history of the game and all its parts, there is enough recent and current player involvement to keep the younger fans interested. And the 2 shows are cant miss! Cant wait to come back in a few years and see the progress on the village.
Nice museum. The locker room show is very cool!
Absolutely excellent experience as always! 3rd time in past 6 years, and never disappointed, always impressive to enjoy with passionate people, and the courteous, diligent, excited team members all over the campus thoroughly work and engage patrons to ensure an exemplary experience and visit. Highly recommend
Took my son. He likes football but I am NOT a fan. This was a really neat place and thankfully they kept politics out of it. The exhibits were laid out very well and there was a lot of information. Had a very nice day there Saturday.
Had a wonderful time great experience
Been coming to the enshrinement for 20+ years. Many changes. Event gets bigger every year. The Hall of fame workers are helpful and polite which is especially helpful for myself being limited due to my health issues. My wife and I love the Hall. And hope to keep coming back
Entire experience for induction ceremony was handled extremely well
Great family experience for any football fan!!
What an experience. A must attend event held once a year. It was great to see the Cowboys play against Pittsburgh. Seeing some of the legends in there earned Gold jackets was amazing.
