Showed them a reference picture of what I wanted and got exactly that!! I was in and out of there very quickly and the price was great for the service I got :) will definitely be coming back.

My niece took five of the aunties and grandma in for pedicures back in February. We got there early and they were waiting for us but were rushed the whole time. Very minimal communication, which I understand some people dont talk much. Four out of five did a terrible job with out gel polish!!! They didnt cut the toenails of two of us, didnt spend time to remove all the cuticle and proceeded to apply the gel. My gel was tick and bumpy so I told the nail tech. She removed it and reapplied and it still looked the same. My sisters nails were only painted in the main top and all sides had no polish. I can say only grandmas nails looked nice and gel lasted 6 weeks. Everyone else the gel polish fell within the first couple of weeks. Never going back

This is the best bang for your buck as far as nail salons go in Canby! They always do a great job and they have great prices. They also offer stamp cards that will give you a $10 discount after I think 10 visits. Awesome place!

It’s unfortunate that one bad seed can completely undermine a businesses integrity. I have been a patron of Gala Nails exactly 3 times.Experience #1- Great for me, I had Kathy and a gentleman for a mani/pedi both techs were very friendly and professional and paid great attention to detail in their work. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for my mom who was accompanying me. Multiple times NiNi was extremely rude and demeaning to my mom; mostly communication/translation was to be blamed. NiNi was incredibly irritated my mom was saying she wanted her nails “rounded” when according to NiNi my mom actually wanted “Oval” and scolded her that she needs to say “Oval” in the future. While NiNi was “teaching” my mom and doing her mani/pedi she would have bursts of conversation to her coworkers; it was very obvious she was complaining about my mom to her family/coworkers (they basically ignored her and hung their heads in embarrassment.)Experience #2 - I did not have the company of my mom. I requested Kathy, she did my nails perfectly and was very sweet and professional.Experience #3- I made an appointment the day before with Kathy and when I showed up they informed me Kathy wasn’t working that day; they really should have called and notified me, but I own a small business as well and I understand things happen. They asked if I could come back in 10 minutes and see a different tech and I agreed. When I came back NiNi told me where to sit and asked what I’d like done to my nails. I replied I’d like the dip powder. She pointed to my nails and told me that’s not what I had. I replied “yes I know, but what I would like is the dip powder toady.” She told me “no I do shellac.” I told her “no, I do not want shellac; it peels off my nails.” NiNi precedes to argues with me that shellac doesn’t do that. Then I asked “Do you do the powder dip or not?” NiNi says with great attitude while pointing at my hands “yes, but then I will have to take those off.” ........”ok....”NiNi left me with the color choices and didn’t return. I looked at the colors for 5-10 minutes and could feel myself getting more and more upset about how blatantly rude she was. This is when I grabbed my things and left.I will never go back. I can not support an establishment that enables this kind of behavior/service.

When you first walk in, its clean and you are greeted!! I was able to walk in and sit down right away for a new full set. Im not sure my technicians name, but she was in station two, on Thursday Aug 1, 2019 at 4 pm. She was so sweet, and honestly did my nails better than anyone. Ive been getting them done for 15 yrs off and on and it was my first time getting a set with her. I was in and out in under 60 MINUTES! I showed her an example on Instagram of what I wanted and she delivered. Just, wow.

I had pretty high expectations of this place since my friend told me how good it was, but once I got there..it wasn’t very pleasing. While the lady was filing my nails, she cut my skin and left my pinky all red and open. It hurt! She then also cut too close to my cuticle which made my finger bleed. I thought she was going to clean it but she continued to do my nails and used clear polish while their was blood, I got concerned because she uses that same product on other people which is bad! My experience wasn’t good! Btw i paid 52 when i usually pay 40 at my local nail salon, which they do amazing job. Wouldn’t go again

Been a long time since I had my nails done. They pink while hot and red cold. . Very accommodating.... But could be more socially engaged. Great service.

I’ve gotten a few pedicures here and they have been great every time. They do a nice job, optional features are great, and I feel like they take their time which is important to me. I come for the experience, relaxation, and that’s what I get here!

This may have been the best pedicure Ive ever had and Ive been getting them for 12 years. The lady wasnt very welcoming when I came in but the gentleman that did my pedicure was sweet and attentive.

Staff is polite but generally not excessively talkative. Performance and prices are all around average, though that’s certainly not a bad thing. Woman who did my pedicure did a little design free of charge and was very pleasant to talk with.

They do a good job, but they are rude & make me Feel Very Uncomfortable. Through the whole visit, they all speak their own language, & laugh among each other. I can barely understand them when they attempt to speak English. I know this happens at all nail salons. Its very inconsiderate! Youd think they would care about their customers feelings more than they do. It is a Very Rude, Uncomfortable experience. I wont go back.

It is very clean and decorated. My technician was very gentle and she had sterile equipment. They use plastic tub liners, new every time. I would rate the salon a 10.

Hands down the best place in town, I love it when Kathy does my nails, I just got Christmas Nails! They look amazing!! Always pleased.

I got my nails done at Gala nails recently. I did not have a great first experience. I have always had a hard time getting my nails done, because I dont wanna pay $35 for my nails to not get done with good quality. I had a brown/purplish nail polish on before I got a clear pink nail polish on. My whole entire appointment took less than 20 minutes to do my nails and take off the nail polish that I had on, but they didnt even take off all of the nail polish I had on first so after I got my nails done, it looks like there is dirt underneath my finger nail polish. They cut my fingernails but didnt even use a file to shape them so they are uneven and sharp. Not to mention, I was the only one getting my nails done at 9:30am with 6 workers there and I still got such a horrible quiality .

Took my daughter for her first pedicure and to get her nails done and they really are the best keep in mind my daughter is 3 and half.

Don’t waste your money if you get Kathy this is what she deemed acceptable, I got a full set but apparently this salon charges a manicure fee if you want to have your cuticles pushed back and trimmed up? I’ve never seen that at another shop it’s always been included because it takes seconds to do...She’s the manager and she’s not friendly...left paint all over my skin it was very sloppy. I came back in and got a pedicure done by a really sweet girl (went with my mom which is the only reason I went back) they gave my mom a discount on her pedi because the guy nail tech cut her 4 times during our nail appointment...while we were there getting our toes done I expressed how upset I was about my nails to the sweetheart doing my toes and she talked to Kathy..said they’d fix it for $15...I don’t want to give them more money when they should’ve treated me better the first time. I never get my nails done this broke my heart...I was so excited. I even tipped her and I have no idea why... I spent 45 on the nails but for rounded up to $55 then realized after I paid just how ugly they were (the color i picked was cute but the job was done super poorly) looks like some are grown out already and others look new, inconsistent...I then spent another $35 on my toes...I’m so mad don’t waste your money go somewhere with better ratings and customer service. I hope the good techs that work there quit and go work for better people because Kathy sucks. Not going back.

Did not do what I asked, ended up with a horrible infection. Tried to ask what she was doing and she said, you drive me crazy!I just wanted my shellac removed and a clear coat applied. Instead she shaved my nails down so thin they throbbed for days and one of them now has a very painful infection. Not excited to spend my day off going to urgent care.

I just went to Gala Nails to get my nails done. And this happened the employee with bangs but my nail off and started bleeding every where all she did was place super glue on my nail didnt even say sorry. Im so upset at the moment like what the f*****

Went in i get acrylics and the guy was very rough with my hands, cut a few of my fingers and did a very bad polish job. waste of my money and not ever coming back, if i could understand them i would go back and tell them everything that was wrong and get my money back:(

Horrible service . I showed them a picture of what I wanted .At first they looked great . When I looked closely i noticed they did not paint both my pinkys the same as The other ones . They did not file them . They were horrible . Will never come here .
