Vivian and Hannah are the absolute best they are so nice and gentle I will not go anywhere else Id recommend them 10/10

I have been a customer for the past 8 years when I used to live in the area and happened to see it close by. I have subsequently moved but always go back to get my hair cut. The owner Vivien is great and I am glad to see her back after covid and the place being busy with loyal customers when I went there for a haircut today.

My wife and I love Vivian, she is the best! Shes very consistent and super sweet.

Yesterday, Was my first time to visit shear art hair salon wonderful ladies. I had my big ol shaggy beard removed my haircut all at a great price took good care of me and yes theyre very nice Ladys.I had the opportunity to meet a couple of Vivians regulars and the reviews are spot on.

Will give you exactly what you ask for, in a very timely manner. Always very nice and polite. Walk-ins are welcome though its often busy. They prefer cash, though they accept credit cards.

I came for a quick haircut and left very pleased! Vivienne cut my hair well, gave some tips for taking care of my thin hair, and was altogether very nice. Shes not super talkative (which is a huge plus!!!) and the salon was fairly quiet. I made an appointment an hour ahead and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Its not a fancy hair salon but I got what I expected, so Ill give it four stars. I have medium-long hair and the cut cost $27 + tip. Definitely worth it and Ill be coming back!

Vivian gave me a great haircut for a very reasonable price. Hadnt had my hair cut in 2 years because Im a grad student with little extra money to spend. Id been hesitant to look for a salon because very few people know how to cut naturally wavy but somewhat flat hair. Vivian understood what I needed right away and had me in and out quickly. Ive found my new place!

Great quality haircuts for a good price.I have been going here for the past half a year. All three times it was Vivian who gave me a haircut, and every-time, the quality of haircut is very predictable.

My family and I have been getting our haircuts with Vivian for the past 13 years. She always does and great job cutting our hair. She has done color and highlights on my hair and Im always happy with it.

I love Vivian! Ive had some pretty bad experiences with stylists in the past, resulting in my being VERY protective of my hair. I come down from Oakland every few months to have Vivian cut my hair, because she is amazing at what she does. She listens to what I want for my hair, and knows how to cut it so that it looks good if I wear it straight or curly, up or down. I will always recommend Shear Art solely for Vivians expertise!

Vivi used to cut my daughters hair when she was little 4 or 5 maybe, my daughter is 19 now and Vivi continues with hee excellent skills, maybe even better than before! Excellent job!

I came here after getting a bad haircut earlier in the week, hoping to have someone fix it. I made a same day appointment with Vivian. Immediately when she looked at my messed up layers she knew what she needed to do. She took her time, advised me on how to wear my bangs, and fixed my hair. It looks so much better and I wish Id just gone here in the first place. I will definitely come back again.

I dont know why somebody gave this wonderful service and professional hair salon 1 star without saying any word. I have been their customer for many years and I always feel satisfied after having my hair done there. Vivi knows what shes doing. I had tried several hair salons around Los Gatos before I stopped and became her loyal customer. I would recommended Vivi for everyone, especially somebody wants some sleek and crisp highlight!

I went there for making permanent stright my hair which was already soft but I wanted to just blow after shower .. Easy and fast.because i have done before and happy with thatBut.. They completely damaged my hair and made my hair like wood .. Fizzy dry .. Terrible😩😩 i asked for at least refund they gave me almost half which i used to buy alot of stuff to repair my hair and bring it back to whatever it was.. Which of course they didnt work out for me......!!!!!!!!!!

The prices are great... but at a great cost. Went and had my nails and hair done. My nails were to long, super uneven and after four days started popping off. I asked for an inch off my hair and she cut off about four inches. NOT pleased.

As kind as the owner and employees are the time I waited for my service is rediculous. I was left with my feet soaking for 30 minutes while they helped person after person who came in to get hair cuts. I get they are busy, perhaps getting rid of pedicures would be better instead of making someone sit and wait for so long.

1 star only because I could not do less .. $10 hair cut sign in the Window .. $13 .. and now I need to go somewhere else to see if they can fix the bad hair cut they gave me.. I do not recamend!
