Ms Renee Burke has made my move in process very easy and welcoming . She made sure everything was in order. The community is nice and welcoming . The grounds are well kept and the community is nice . I am very pleased with my decision to move here.

Ms. Renee was truly amazing! This is my first apartment and things that I didn’t understand Ms. Renee helped me and also worked with me every step of the way. I’m very excited to move in.

Do not come here if you have more than one driving resident on the lease. We have a three bedroom and two people who are licensed drivers with registered cars yet weren’t allowed a second parking pass. One of us has to park in what I like to call the “parking graveyard” outside the property and take the dangerous trek back to the apartment on the other side (Carswell Avenue) to get to our apartment. I don’t know of any apartment that doesn’t allow and avail parking to tenants listed on the lease that have registered cars-Especially if there is a whole back parking lot that’s empty. It is so dangerous and I’m afraid it’s gonna take someone getting hurt before they take heed. My mom is from NC and I can’t even have her visit because she would have to park in the graveyard and walk back to my apartment. It’s crazy.

To anyone planning to move here I would strongly advise you not to..the rental office staff will seem nice and welcoming but its a front..the rental office actually ILLEGALLY changed my locks after claiming they didnt and once maintenance got me in my apartment my old lock was sitting on my kitchen counter which I took pictures of..as a matter of fact after writing this review Im headed to the court house ..the ladies in the rental office are fake and bitter and its sad ..

I like to take time and think Miss Renee she took time and walk me through all the things that I need to do to to get my apartment she is such a wonderful person I appreciate you I thank you me and my daughter both may God continue to watch over you and bless you thank you

Sadly, we didn’t take the apartment because I was left a house the same week I was scheduled to move in but my experience with Ms. Renee was wonderful. She did all she could to help in our process of moving for the first time. She showed us patience and kindness. She was very professional and knowledgeable, as some property managers will just rush you through the process without being informative. I’ve recommended Allentown to a few of my friends, because the space is amazing and who doesn’t appreciate good management.

This place is soooooo horrible and I’m so glad I didn’t move in ! First they showed me a unit with dead roaches in the kitchen cabinet an a stove that was falling apart. Second I gave RENEE my 100 dollar money order to hold the unit . I’ve been trying to get my money back for the past month now.. Renee has confirm many days for me to pick up my money order but each time no one is in the office when I arrive. They never answer the phone! I mean it makes noooo sense ! Give me my money order so I can be completely done with this complex

Don’t move here new management is horrible you cannot have two parking passes only if it’s two adults in the home so if you’re a single parent who is paying rent on your own you only can have one pass. Water pressure is not good heat has to be set on 80 to keep warm filters are not changed on a regular basis as needed.Grounds are dirty all the time it was not like this with old management had I known of the new management I would never had signed my lease. Again can’t wait til it’s up so I can move.

I have been trying to reach the rental office for the past 2weeks and I even left messages inquiring about a 3 bedroom and no one has called me back I call and never get an answer I even showed up to try to pick up an application and I was told the rental office was open and it’s people in there but no one came to the door when I was knocking and the sign say pleases knock on door 🤷🏽‍♀️

My favorite part about living here is Contessa. Our property manager is awesome. Always professional and on top of everything. My apartment is cozy and I have no issue.

Greetings,I am currently a resident of Allentown Apartments. Im sharing this review simply to give you a small insight on Mrs. Renee Burke. Mrs. Renee gives great customer service. She takes time out to listen to the tenants and assist us the best way she knows how. I have seen her walking the property on several occasions almost like she doing a visual security check simply to make sure things are good.Mrs. Renee always displays a positive and welcoming attitude. Her vibrant smile has set the tone for the office on may days. She shows great gratitude and pride in her work ethics. She exhibits a great amount of patience with individuals whom comes off with negativity.Overall, its an honor and a pleasure to have Mrs. Renee in the leasing office to assist the needs of the residence here at Allentown Apartments.

This review is not based on the actual complex, just the website for the apartment complex. Ive been surveying and doing research on this place for weeks. After finally being able to speak with someone on the phone, its told to me that they have income restrictions!! Maybe someone from the rental office will see this, but I have been trying for weeks now to get in touch with someone about their three bedroom apartment homes and received no response.

If I didn’t have to move due to work, I would have definitely chosen to renew my lease this past August! Working with Brittney the new property manager was completely amazing! Very accommodating and professional throughout my leaving process! Always hosting an event around the complex. Maintenance comes and does a great job when needed and pretty fast!

I like my apartment its cozy and quiet my neighbors are nice too the rental office is nice but its hard to get them on the phone .. my problem is parking and the church parking lot my patio faces them I hear all kinds of stuff all day and all night it is the reason why I am moving my husband works overnight I work day time but there is always something going on there from people arguing car alarms outside classes of some sort with whistles as we speak there is band practice.. you would think because its a church they would be more respectful no they are the worst with attitudes and everything ..

This place is a joke! .... Every review is negative and yet here I am for the past 2 months trying to get in contact with the leasing office. GUESS WHAT I never got a call back, or an email back cause I tried contacting them both ways. I know ever business is busy but goodness this is sad I wonder what it WOULD OF BEEN LIKE LIVING THERE HONESTLY . Prob just as the reviews say😥 (Tip: Change your voicemail from saying you will call us back cause its been months. )

Okay property, poor management; they have undergone two different management companies. I have submitted the same maintenance issue to both companies and either have resolved it, which causes a security issue. The new management team are very unfriendly. They have been managing this property going on three months and have yet to have a proper method for online payments which was a deal breaker for me personally when signing my lease, the prior management company had online payment options. FYI their website sent an e-mail opting online payment but it does not allow you to pay online. It takes multiple attempts to get in contact with anyone and to add insult to injury if you have the pleasure of meeting their staff in person be weary. Also no drop box, so if youre attempting to pay before or after business hours there is no method to do so. Hopefully things get better for the sake of the residents.

Dont waste your time here. Upon move in the door did not come with a bottom lock, management takes weeks to fix anything, if the even come up with a proper fix. The front door has cracks in the seams so bugs get in all the time. Overall not pleased.

This place needs to be condemned. Maintenance take forever to fix anything and thats if they even remembered to get to you. They will notify you of an inspection 2 days prior to the inspection then you have to take off work to be there unless you dont mind them going into your place randomly. When I finally moved I never received my security deposit and when I cleaned out my place it was immaculate, someone could move in right after me, nothing was left undone. Management is never available when you need them, you leave a message and they will not return your call, you go to the office and they may or may not be opened that day even though its during normal operating hours. They say theyre showing the property and in reality they dont have enough staff on hand. RUN!! DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I live in the back on carswell ave at the end building and everytime its a warm day its 20 to 30 boys in the hallway smoking, drinking doing whatever they want and they dont even live here. The police monitor around here twice every two weeks the rent office tells me its nothing they can do after visiting hours. I cant wait until my lease it up i have a kid that has asthma i cant have him walking through smoke just to get in our apartment.

Lived here for 5 years and finally moved out last year 2017. Apartment was broken into at least twice, one night my locks were tampered with so I couldnt get into my home had to drive to DC to stay with parents for the night. Management didnt do anything when the police came to my property after the break in lady in office got in her car and left. I dont care what no one says but I truly in my heart believe that the short dark skin maintenance man broke into my unit. Mighty funny when I got home a wet paint sign was on my front door I guess to throw the neighbors off as if he was in there doing work. DO NOT MOVE HERE

They never pick up their phones, Ive been calling for 2 weeks and nobody has picked up yet, they dont open on time, and theyre not open on Saturdays anymore for the people that work during the week. The professionalism is HORRIBLE!

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS COMPLEX, THAT I THOUGHT ME AND MY 4 YEAR OLD COULD CALL HOME. FIRST LETS START BY SAYING YOU COULD NEVER KEEP UP WITH THE RENTAL OFFICE STAFF BECAUSE THEIR ALWAYS CHANGING MANAGEMENT. YOU HAVE TO CALL SO MANY TIMES TO EVEN GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE IN THE RENTAL OFFICE. THEYRE A TOTAL OF TWO MAINTENANCE WORKERS AND I BELIEVE THERE WERE THREE WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN. SO YOU COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW LONG AND HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM TO GET THINGS DONE IN YOUR HOME. MARCH 2017 I NOTICE A MOUSE IN MY APARTMENT AND FROM THAT TIME UNTIL THE TIME I MOVED OUT JULY 2017 I HAD CAUGHT 5 MICE IN TOTAL ON MY OWN TRAPS BECAUSE THE EXTERMINATORS COULDNT DO THEIR JOB. ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW MANY MORE WERE IN THERE. I NOTIFIED THE RENTAL OFFICE COUNTLESS TIMES ABOUT THE SITUATION AS WELL AS HEADQUARTERS AND WAS TOLD THERES NOTHING THAT WE COULD REALLY DO ITS NATURE. NOT ONCE DID ANYONE OFFERED TO TRANSFER ME INTO ANOTHER UNIT. I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT IM PRETTY SURE YOU GET THE GIST. EVER HEARD THE SAYING YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ????pS. I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE ONE STAR BUT I HAD TO JUST TO POST A REVIEW!!!!!!

I have been living here for 3years we have had 5 property managers the only consistent we have is Ms. Renee before she got here i had a lot of issues with my apartment she was the only person out of all the property managers to come to my door with the maintenance staff to check on me and make sure all my issues was resolved, they really need to make her the manager bring her a assistant.
