Awesome service from the guy at front desk. Helped with my rewards number, was enthusiastic and provided tips about my trip. Quick pick-up service, easy after-hours drop off. Car was clean. Better prices than Thousand Oaks location. Would definitely use again.
Customer service was great one girl all by herself did a fantastic job.The one star review is for the cleaning of the location. Floor is dirty, there is spider webs everywhere inside place looks like no one has come clean for months. Due to this pandemic i was sure by low place has to be disinfected daily.
They email you confirmations for a car and then when you show up tell you they don’t have one. They said someone called and left a message, but I have no voicemail from them. If you don’t have cars to rent, maybe you shouldn’t let people reserve them. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem with Hertz.

Hertz Camarillo is always a good experience for me, friendly professional service, little to no wait, new and clean cars. I’m so glad I found out about this place after getting terrible service from another rental place in town.
We always go to Hertz. Very friendly. They always have something available. Cars are clean, washed, and in good condition. We finally joined the Hertz rewards/gold star club, worth it! Also they have a deal with AAA for the lowest price. I always get a better price than my sister when we travel together.
Customer service was so great. I came in last minute without an appointment, without a car reserved. They got me a car got me out of there within 15 minutes. They gave me a great deal and when I had to keep the car 5 days longer than I thought I was going to, they extended the price they had given me so all the days I had it were the same per day price.
We reserved a car online and when we arrived at the appointment time our car wasnt available. The technician at the store called to other locations to try to accommodate us but was unable to get us a car. Its like why bother making an reservation if theyre going to keep it.
My cars are always clean and ready when I arrive. The customer service is always a pleasant experience
Same as other reviewer, if I could give ZERO stars I would. Reserved a car, came to pick it up, same answer....sorry, we dont have any. I was told they had a full size with upgrades only and to go to another Hertz if I didnt want that one. So, I literally walked two doors over and was helped and given outstanding customer service at Avis. Thats why Avis has 4.5 out of 5 stars. Car was a little more expensive there, but they had one and were, most of all, HELPFUL. Woman at Hertz obviously doesnt care about her job.
I have been here twice. The price of cars seems to be cheaper compared to the one in thousand oaks. The staff is helpful. Overall experience is good.
Showed up at 5:50pm and the location was closed and locked already. Interior Office door was cracked open and I could see movement inside. When I knocked on the exterior door (locked) there was no response this was followed by the door being shut. I do not recommend this location, and am very insulted by the poor performance and lack of integrity of this locations employees.
I am very dissatisfied, and I dont recommend using their services. I booked a car online 1 days before my trip, the following day when I got to the office they didnt have the type of car I had booked. I got a “free” upgrade bc they didnt have the car I had reserved, but I ended up paying more than I was quote for since the insurance was $12.99 more per day bc of the type of car they gave.

Dirty office. Disorganized and slow staff. Storefront will often be empty for extended periods of time, even though they should be waiting for you, because you have a reservation. Cars are NEVER clean, often they are bio hazards that get your clothes dirty, or are a hazard to drive because toy cant see through the windscreen. Youll get upgraded into a just slightly less disgusting car, but you shouldnt have to.

Made a same day reservation on line for a compact car, received a confirmation number and drove 45 minutes to pick it up at the exact time we indicated on the reservation. Walked in and the agent said there wasnt a car available and if he gave us one wed be taking someone elses car. He could put us on a wait list but it would be 3 to 5 days before hed have one available.Say what??? Yep, no car, no explanation why we were confirmed for a car two hours earlier, or why there wasnt one available. He added that they check their reservation system every half hour and call if theres not going to be a car waiting. That didnt happen either. We ended up driving around to three other car rental agencies in the area and finally found one at Enterprise.Awful experience here, dont count on your Hertz reservation confirmation at this location, its meaningless!

If we could give no stars we would. Made a reservation a week in advance. When we called the day of for a ride, they said oops we dont have cars. Huh? So totally unprofessional...DO NOT BOOK WITH CAMARILLO HERTZ.
