Close to freeway, close to shopping and fast food. The complex will keep maintenance level up, and upkeep of public areas. They did great during covid lockdown(s).Good rent for area, no riding bikes or skateboards on property.
Ghetto apartments with clown management
Beautiful Home Community
Sweet and quiet little community with a touch of charm. I almost am considering to move here. I like it
Super large apartments with additional studios/dens. I went here to look around for a family member and I was surprised at how large the property is and how much space is between each of the apartment units.Super quiet super clean and extremely close to the 101 freeway although you cannot hear it.
Its quiet
Just renewed my lease in January and plan to renew again next year! This is probably the nicest, most affordable place youll get in Camarillo. Ive never had any issues living here; neighbors are super friendly, and its a quiet area. Ive recommended this place to a friend and they love it here as well.
I lived there for about 7 years before I bought a house, so I can give a pretty good overview. First of all, dealing with the management was never a major issue. If.....IF I had a problem with an appliance or leak, I always received prompt service. Even when my dishwasher acted up (thanks Cesario). I got a couple of notices while lived there about bamboo on my balcony, car parked too long in carport, and backing in my beast of a truck. I took it as a reminder and corrected the violations. No biggie. The rules are very clear and if you just follow them, you have no problem. I dealt with Scott, Veronica, and Monica. All were very professional and courteous. I recommended Villa Camarillo to friends and I would stay there again. I never had anyone damage my vehicles or touch my motorcycle. I will continue to recommend this complex. Oh, did I mention the access to the BBQ grills. That was a HUGE plus for me. The pool was always clean too.
No issues with the apartment, its clean, well kept and quiet. The staff are the best, helpful, courteous and willing to go the extra mile for you... I would highly recommend them to friends and family.
Wonderful place to live. Whoever rents apt to 1111 has the best location and the apartment is great. The staff is amazing.
I loved the complex. I had no problems living there. I couldnt hear my neighbors at all, which was a concern of mine. There was always parking. Great location.
I see smoke free property signs posted around the complex but apparently that rule does not apply to the people that live below me. To make matters worse, this guy loves to try and impress every one of his neighbors with his collection of power tools. Every weekend that is what I wake up to at 7:30am.I have talked to management and the guy told me they cant enforce the smoke free policy if they are smoking on their patio or balcony. Ok so does their second hand smoke just stay confined to their patio area? I dont think so. Smoke free property means just that, smoke free. Not smoke free sometimes
If youre a military service member do not live there for they dont have any reconsideration for you at all. But if you do, ensure that you tell them 30 days in advance even if you dont have a hard copy of your orders just yet. Every military personnel knows that sometimes you get your orders 2 weeks prior to you rotating out and that the chances of your orders getting derailed is still pretty high, so for that reason it is kind of hard to give them the 30 days notice, but Villa Camarillo apartment management (scott) doesnt care and once you missed that window, you wont get prorated and will be charged for that whole month even if youre only gonna be there for half of that month. Find some place military friendly.
Dealt with theft from car and carport storage box a few times, and the complex did not seem to care --- in fact, they didnt fix my storage box lock until months later when several others were broken into in one night. (When they called to notify me that mine may have been broken into, they first claimed to not know it was stolen from before and then claimed to have fixed it and that it was broken again that night...wrong.) They also never fixed my heater in the year that Ive lived here.If you want to pay over $1300 in rent and not get maintenance requests filled, then it is the perfect place. However, if you want your moneys worth, dont bother until they get new management or focus a little less maintenance work on the gardens and a little more on their apartment units.
This was truly the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Me and my roommates are students at CSUCI and the lady that works there completely lied to us about what we were getting! the two bathroom usits are not really two FULL BATHROOMS! THE SHOWER IS JUST A TUB! no installations for a shower so you can only bathe in there. they do not paint the walls or change the carpets before you move in (or at least they didnt for us) and when they showed us the model usnit it was different than what we actually were getting. They just say I do not recall when you confront them with it and then the manager came to talk to us (fake tan/ridiculous nose) and was extremity rude and told us that we are not getting the deposit back and that we should just leave. It was a traumatizing experience instead of an exciting one to move into our first place. I hate that they ruined our trust in property management and will be hearing from my lawyer asap. please do NOT get yourself into a contract with these kinds of low life and get somewhere where they respect you and welcome you. This is not how it is supposed to be for the kind of money youll be spending for a stained dirty apartment that has not been updated since 1970s (exactly what they told me when I asked about why the bathrooms are not updated and look disgusting)They told us theyd fix it but with no guaranteed time which means basically never. You dont want to be living in an apartment where you cant shower and needs major construction renovation. there are so many options out there please look around.
I believe that this John Emerich man is writing his review of Camarillo Villa off of Ponderosa and Mobil, NOT the Villa Camarillo on Lantana and Paseo Camarillo. I have lived in the latter since October 1st, 2013, and I have had nothing but a great time with the facility and the staff. I live in a 2-bedroom 2-bath, and upon my lease signing, I inquired about installing a shower to my bathroom (I occupy the smaller room with detached bathroom that had a full bathtub, but no shower head) and true to their word, they installed it at the end of January, charged me nothing, and increased my rent $0.00!Moreover, everything works wonderfully. No problems with bugs, drains, disposal, dishwasher, OR sound. I previously lived in Ponderosa apartments across the street from the apartment complex that John was referring to, and there I had all kinds of problems, and was robbed-TWICE! I could hear every move my above neighbors made, which was awful because I work full time and attend school in the evening with enough time to get home pack a lunch and hit the hay. My above neighbors would be up until 3am most nights of the week, and loud! I cant tell you how much happier I am now, even with a roommate. As stated above, they really deliver on their promises, the facility is clean, quiet, beautifully lit, and absolutely delightful. If you look in the rental office, you can see that the maintenance men have won awards for their quick, and wonderful work. I highly suggest this venue for anyone who wants to be treated well.
The villa camarillo apartment on Lantana and Paseo Camarillo is the worst apartment I lived! It is a very old and bad apartment. You can hear everything from your neighbors living upstairs or next door. If you close the door, the windows of the whole appartment will shake. You will not able to sleep at all if you are a light sleeper. Also they do not return your deposit back after you moved out. They charged a lot painting fee and clean fee when we moved out, and said no matter how clean your room is, if theres a minor thing you did not notice or clean, they will still charge the clean fee. Basically you will get nothing back from your deposit after you moved outAlso do not trust the positive reviews, the manager mailed everyone in the apartment and offered $10-$20 deduct from the month rent if post positive reviews for them.
Worst experience ever, some gimmick to get you in the door and take your money, then your not approved for the deal. The require you to put down a $200 deposit, then say oh they cant give it back to you unless it goes through their corporate office Mariam tried to act very polite in the beginning then will get ghetto on the phone with you when you tell them your not going to spend $3,500 to move into a 700 sq foot apartment. Shes rude, and disrespectful. If it was some 5 star, tamed grounds, I would of half thought about it. But this place is a dump, end of story. Just another management company, dont waste your time. Definitely if they say you need to put down a deposit DONT! It can take 21 days to get back your deposit if you dont end up choosing to rent with them! In addition the apartment I looked at is still for rent, and I looked at it a month ago!
These apartment suck specially the manager there rent is 1800 dollars its not fair
Beautiful, quiet place
