Our puppy had a weird rash on his face. I asked about it at his 1st booster shot appointment... they said Hell outgrow it. It was worse on his 2nd booster shot appointment...they said the same thing. On his 3rd booster shot appointment they said You better take him somewhere to see what this is! I was, like, Do you mean a veterinarian? They said Yes. So I got him a NEW vet who diagnosed it, gave us medicine, and cured it.

Vet thorough and informative, Check. Total office visit time minimal, check. Able to get me in with little notice, best part my pets are better for it. Charges competitive. Attention to detail excellent. This review is based on multiple visits and different pets. Highly recommended

I take both my Husky and German Shepherd to Suburban. The women who run the front desk are fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Daman is also a step above the rest, my dogs love to see him and actually go nuts when we have to go to the vet! They give exceptional care to my pets and dont charge an arm and a leg for it. Suburban Animal Clinic is the best around Butler!

Avoid this place at all cost, highway robbery. There are many more affordable vets local to butler. They will charge you for everything they can to make a dollar off of you. Even a $2 change to throw a needle away. This place will nickel and dime you to death and then hit you with a $300 bill. Will charge you double for medication compared to what you can get it at other locations. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Staff is great. My sister takes her cat here and they are always very helpful and caring with Tanner. (He hates everyone) I recently have gotten a little dog and took her here to be spayed. These people are very friendly with compassion for both the animal and their humans.

If you are disabled and have to make any sort of payment arrangements this is not the veterinary clinic for you to go to they have no sympathy whatsoever about your animals care your circumstances and why you may need to make payments they dont understand that if youre short on a payment yeah I would rather write a check and have it bounce and get my animal taken care of and make amends to them later instead of neglecting my animals but thats not anywhere near good enough for them they only care about money I love my animals and when I take them to a specialist I expect them to be treated with the utmost care and not being neglected over something so trivial

Ive been coming here for 13 years, and love it. Everyone is always so nice and friendly to both me and my dog. Theyre very gentle, and take the extra time to calm a jumpy pet before starting an exam. All of my questions are always answered, as well as any instructions for post-exam care if needed. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

Dr. Daman is awesome. Highly recommend this vet. Ive been taking my working dog there since he was a pup and they are very accommodating of fussy dogs. He is very thorough in his diagnoses and cares about his patients. If you want the best care for your pet bring them here.

Dr. Daman is amazing, he has done miracles for all of my animals and has always done everything in his power to make sure he is giving the best treatment to my babies. The vet techs are amazing and they are just as important to thank as the doctor! Amazing place!

I love this practice. It is small practice and your pet always sees Dr Damon. He has a magic touch with dogs and cats. I find it is less stressful for mg dogs when they see the same person.

Greatest vet ever, I would highly recommend

My wife and I breed and train Champion English Setters hence we see the vet a lot during the year. We are there for routine checkups, rabies boosters, pre and post pregnancy exams, litter exams and every once in a while the unforeseen emergency.We were referred to DR. Daman by a fellow breeder who has known, trusted, and relied on Suburban for many, many years. We couldnt be happier. The staff is friendly, always willing to go the extra mile and as for Doc.....I cant say enough. In many cases a simple question leads to a great education on the how and why of what our dog is experiencing. We have implemented his suggestions for all of our sires, dams, litters, and pups we keep and have had not only excellent success for ourselves but have also been able to provide pups of superior health to our clients.Its nice to have a vet that is just that A VET. There is only one man to make the final call, no juggling between vets like larger hospitals have yet he combines modern technology with old fashioned common sense.All of our clients who are within a 50 mile radius us Suburban and some who travel in to hunt do as well.I can not think of a situation he has not been able to handle or an answer he hasnt been able to give even if it means doing some research. I know how valuable time is yet he and the staff are always there for us.As far as for Eaglerock Setters, we will always use and recommend Dr. Daman and his Staff.

I wish I could say my experience with Suburban was the same as all these other glowing reviews. I tried to reach out to this clinic about getting an estimate on how much they would charge for the removal of bladder stones.I explained to the woman that answered that I had sent a fax to them to inquire on this but had not heard back. As I and everyone else works and I cant sit and make calls at my desk. I informed her that we had taken our dog to the emergency ER last night, she was peeing blood. Found out she has bladder stones that need to be surgically removed. The ER staff was so nice and gave me the cd with her x-rays, will fax all the lab work and everything they did, I just need to get a vet as I am not established up here as I just moved from Florida.The woman was so rude, saying what fax, we did not get a fax, just going on and on about the fax, then would not listen to what I was saying. I am in desperate need to get my dog in and get the surgery to have her tell me that I would have to pay $60 for a second opinion...when it is not a second opinion and they would need to do this office visit to get an estimate from the doctor.I am sorry I am not made of money...you know how much you charge for this type of surgery for the anesthesia to the pain meds and recovery that you can give me an estimate (I really should have told her to look up the word and see what it says) and starts going off well he does not know how bad or how long it will take. I was like exactly that is why an estimate is made so I know about how much we are talking about as I am not made of money. I am not looking for an exact figure.She then went on and on about no vets give estimates without seeing the dog first. Well when I already know what is wrong I dont need the vet to see my dog to give me a diagnosis I already have that, please just give me an idea on how much it would cost. I told her that other vets do, I already had a few quotes from other vets that responded to my fax. You know what she tells me, well good then take your dog to one of them. WTFFFFF! Really!!!! But then starts to go on about this and that and the whole visit with the vet first. I am sorry I am not going to pay an office visit to find out you charge like $3,000 for this surgery.By the time I hung up with them my blood pressure was boiling and I broke down in tears. I am trying to find someone that will be able to get my dog in for surgery ASAP to make her feel better and get these stones out of her. If this is how you treat a potential client then no way will you get my business and I will make sure to tell everyone how bad you treat potential clients that are looking for an estimate.Just so dumb to be that rude and uncaring when I tell you my dog is peeing blood and needs this surgery ASAP. (The reason the ER vet would not do it is they are specialist there during the day so she said save the money and get established with a VET and they can do the surgery and it is a fairly common surgery and very little issues) I just cant believe just how rude and antagonistic she was and whomever she was talking to asking questions. Also if she spoke with the vet like she said she would and ask him about my situation, which I am sure she did not ask by giving the whole story that she called me back and to say he would need to see her first. I am sorry but be warned: STAY AWAY!

The staff is very compassionate and very confident. We had a cat that had a very rare condition and they were very respectful about the whole situation including eventually when we had to lay her down.
