Being an older diabetic its better to have my toenails done professionally.Being a male and walking into a nail salon can be uncomfortable and even evoke giggles from some of the workers.Never the case at Q Nails. From my first visit I was made comfortable and was fortunate enough to have Carrie serve me.I go monthly now to see her.Something I look forward to, and including her much deserved tip, more reasonable then other places Ive gone.

UPDATEI returned and Cassie was my technician. She did a wonderful job.Masks must be worn and you have to leave a name and number—very good policy to have! Very nice staff. My gel polish only lasted a week.

Super friendly I can’t remember the lady name that did my nails she says she doesn’t work on Sunday’s but she was there yesterday I’m happy she was I suffer from extreme anxiety she did everything under the sun to make me feel comfortable that meant a lot to me because not everybody’s understanding or whiling to go that far for one person my nails are so cute also so that’s a plus anyway I’m grateful I just found a new permanent nail tech

They do an amazing job the nails have stayed on for quite a long time. They took very good care of me they made great conversation with me. They didnt rush me to pick a color they were very patience with me.

Worst gel manicure I’ve ever had. I got it on a Thursday and by Monday it was already coming off. I took a time stamped picture on the Tuesday, since I was out of town for work until a week later, where by that time multiple nails were off.I called to try to get in for them to redo my nails at no charge, but they were no help. The first day back in town they said they were booked and made no attempt to fit me in. I told them I’m only back for a day and still made no attempt. As a model modeling jewelry, this made it even more frustrating. Bottom line it’s unacceptable for a gel manicure to last 3 days and for them not to redo my nails at no charge. One positive was that my manicurist was nice, but at the end of the day their customer service didn’t continue on when there was an issue. (The picture was taken less than a week after I got my gel manicure).

I went in for a fill and I’m fairly certain they put it past my cuticles so now I just have a chunk of a nail? I honestly don’t even know what they did.... and I asked for a round shape and looks like I have skinny egg nails.... and somehow a fill costed 45$ and a toe nail regular polish change coated 17$. I’m pretty disappointed in every aspect of the service.

I am particular about my nails and appreciate quality and kind service 😊 Many salons have done a great job with great service, however it is Q NAILS in Burnsville that is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE nail salon Ive been to. Kim does BRILLIANT and BEAUTIFUL work and the QUALITY of craftsmanship and product is incredible. My nails FEEL great and LOOK DYNAMICALLY GORGEOUS!! THANK YOU, Q NAILS!!!!!❣

I have been getting powder dip nails for about two years now because of how long they last. I moved to Burnsville and decided to give this place a chance. My powder dipped nails were chipping and breaking like crazy. I went back for a repair, they did that, and my nails are still chipping after only a few days. I think their formula is really cheap. I don’t plan on going back. Not worth it.

Mia did an amazing job on my nails. She did the coffin shape perfectly. She took her time and did not rush. Always asked if I liked how my nails looked!!!!! I would totally recommend this nail salon. Very happy with my nails!

Amy is the best! Knows what shes doing, listens to what you want and doesnt disappoint. She seems to know what I want without even having to tell her. Very fast too. It had been years since I had been in and was so pleased to discover that she was still there.

As a walk-in appointment I had a very nice experience. Ladies were very helpful and treatment was great. Place is very clean and nice. Did not experience anything of what previous reviews complained of. Nail work was very nice and professional. Will definitely go back and do my nails here again.

I’ve only been there once, and I was a walk in, but I had an excellent experience! I had Cassie-who was very professional and accommodating. I got acrylics with a gel manicure, and she paid a lot of attention to detail. I definitely plan on going back!

I paid for gel nails. They put acrylic on my nails and finished with a gel polish. This is a scam. If you pay for gel nails make sure they are actually using gel on your nails. If it’s a liquid and a powder it’s acrylic. It’s unfortunate some salons try to scam customers who don’t know the difference. If you question them and they say it’s a “gel powder” that is a false statement. Gel is an actual gel with a runny texture.

This place has the absolute best customer service!! My mom and I stopped in just before close and they stayed late to do our pedicures! We were so impressed by our experience and how friendly Cassie and Mai were. We will definitely be going back! Highly recommend Q Nails of Burnsville!

Never gone there first time. Got the regular polish. Not even 24hrs. And the polish started coming off. Went there next day n told them got them painted over. That same night the ones i got redone polish started falling off. They did say regular polish dont last that long. I think ithey just should offer regular polish if it just falls off.

I have been coming here for years. I have only made appointments and have never had to wait. Linda is my go to go to person and she never disappoints. She pays attention to detail, and nails it everytime. Not to mention she is hilarious!Nice, clean atmosphere and they make you feel welcome!

The nail salon is a nice place with nice employees but unfortunately some of the workers do not give their complete best when doing nails. The nails do not come out looking professionally but you try to support the business. They are really good people.

I went into Q nails because my regular salon was very busy. I asked for rounded acrylics nails with white nail polish on them. The person I got started putting the nails on and brings out these huge regular day scissors, and just cut them off. It hurt because it made them go flat and pulled at the glue. Then he got them all filed down and every single one of my nails were different lengths and shapes. Also the nail polish was very poorly put on. I was upset with them and asked if I could get a refund or get them fixed. The lady fixed them which I was grateful for but she just made them all very short and they are now the same length as my regular nails. I called them today and just said I was not satisfied with my nails and asked if there was anything they could do. In response the manager was raising her voice at me and telling me that I got what I asked for. Which was far from true. So I just said hank you for your response and ended the call. Very poorly dealt with, will never go back.

I went there for the first time since it was close to where I was running errands. The lady was very nice and I did tip her a little extra for her services because she was so nice. I would not consider going back as its been less than a week and my gel nails are completely peeling off!

Worst experience that never was. Enter shop with my mom for scheduled appointment. Greeted by women who seemed like they were haggling over who would provide service for whom. Asked for Greece design on one finger to which woman responded she could not do. That the only person capable of freestyle art had resigned just today. No offer to look at pictures or even show body of work. We truly felt like our business was ot desired. Mom and I decided to leave and try our luck somewhere else who can offer a better customer experience.

Really great pedicures, my experience with the Deluxe pedicure was excellent, I highly recommend this option. I dropped one star as I, personally, dont care for the dremel power tools when getting manicures; I feel as though it is unnecessary, scary, and not a time saver at all. The staff does go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your results. I will return.

Went there to have a manicure for my sons wedding and the guy who did my nails put a base coat, 2 layers of polish and a top coat. Did layer after layer without letting the top dry before putting the next layer on.I sat under lights for 40 minutes before I was told I could leave. Woke up this morning and my nails were all smudged and still soft I could poke dents in it.The pressure that I received was constant to upgrade and I kept saying No and was told that if I got just regular nail polish it would probably only last 1-2 days but instead it didnt even last 12 hours.The people were very rude and would look at each other and speak Vietnamese, it seemed they were talking about us.Will NEVER go back!! Do not recommend!! 😡

I went there two times. I had a really good experience the first time but the second time.. I got pedicure by a guy . He asked me to choose a price I chose $25 and a color but he told me that color is out of nail polish and asked me to choose another color I chose another color and he never informed me it’s $15 more because it’s a gel color.. so I got charged more without being informed. And my manicures cat eye color did not match the one I chose at all.. the one I chose was pinkish and the one she painted was brown.. now I have to redo my nails for my wedding because of this! I don’t think I’ll ever go back..

So I had called before I came in to make sure they had someone for me since it was 5pm on a Saturday. I wanted to get my nails done because hey, its my birthday month so why not feel good for my bday next week? I did not leave feeling good/special at all. I wanted my natural nails done and the woman named Cindy who was my tech didnt even speak English enough to... anything! Like she didnt understand that I didnt want my nails filed (theyre pretty short, if filed them before I came in) and that I wanted them to fix my thumb nail (because it cracked). She didnt understand at all and ask another lady the whole time. Eventually I asked for gems or stones? And she had to ask the other lady and she looked at me and was like what do you want now? Wow. Ok. Then when the lady couldnt understand even how many or what color gems I wanted and that I wanted it at the base of my nail, she had another woman come over who I explained to that the top coat was streaky and could she redo it? She was pleasant and re did it but then when all the polish was finished she put vitamin e oil on one hand and then the lady came back and didnt do the other. She put lotion on my hands and wouldnt even look at me. And they were all joking around when I was trying to talk to her (probably about me) and honestly probably didnt care if I came back. I said thank you, she said ok. Then it was time to pay, right? There was 3 women there and I waited at the register (they were closing so there was only like 3 clients in there) and then she took my money, I said thank you again but I did not leave smiling. That whole experience felt horrible. Yes, I did get the nails I wanted so I would rate them a 2 but honestly, birthday gift that didnt feel good at the end.

Mani pedi itself was standard, but the upselling was constant and unrelenting. Very frustrating. How many times do I have to say no to a premium service before theyll just give me the standard service and prices?

Literally trash. I waited 30+ minutes for trash. my nails are uneven there are some spots w out any nail polish, and the edge clean up is awful. I wouldnt recommend going there at all. Im never going back. I do a better job at nails than a professional nail stylist.

Did a great job on my mani/pedi but charged me $10 more than she quoted me for when she convinced me to do the manicure as well.

When I walked in they were busy but not crazy I waited probably about 5 minutes which was fine I picked my polish and sat down ( I came in for an acrylic fill ) of course she asked me if I wanted gel twice as they always do at every place I politely declined I said I wanted to square off my nails as they were rounded she proceeded to trim my nails with the drummel tool and took it to the length of my real nail so short it burned my skin on my pinky from the tool I was really upset but didnt say anything she finished my nails and now today there chipping ( I got them done on Labor Day which was Monday today is Tuesday ) there really short and I can see the lines from the filling of the acrylic Im very upset with this and will never return and inform everyone I know that goes here to stop also note that 17$ a fill is expensive for a bad job I can go to the one across town and pay 15$

I was told to come back at 315 and sat there till 330 and than when we went to leave they asked if we wanted to wait! Like really? No, I do not want to wait!! Horrible place!! Will not go back!!

I have had a pedicure twice here the first time she hurt me when doing my toes ok though just a fluke so l went back a second time wrong plan one my right foot she filed the skin on my top toe the left foot cut my toe so short it bleed I went back to let them know it appeared they didnt care I was hoping they would refile my toes at no charge but said they would guarantee no hurt wrong answer also the gel rubbed off on the top of my big toes i will not be going BACK!
