Had a great experience with Adams towing and their outstanding employee, Tyler Belonge. I had a blow out and triple A dispatched Adams Towing for the job. Tyler was quick on the scene and had my truck tire changed in no time. He was a breath of fresh air in that he had a great attitude and was very enthusiastic about his job. He was a bright and courteous young man. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Much thanks to Adams Towing and this impressive young man.

I called AAA and they dispatched Adam’s. When I was contacted by the receptionist she was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am broke down on the side of the interstate at a rest stop. I am 189 miles away from destination so there was gonna be quite a hefty bill because of the mileage. Which I understood. But when I asked if I could use a card she responded with “we can only take 250$ on the card” and we need payment upfront. When I told her I didn’t have 1000 dollars cash on me and there was no way that I could get it until I got home or on the way to the drop off point, seeing as how I was 6+ miles away from the nearest exit she responded with “well I’m canceling the tow, you need to figure it out” and proceeded to hang up on me. Completely unprofessional and would not recommend.

AAA sent them out. They couldn’t jump my truck. Suggested I get a new battery offered to tow me to a service center. I refused and got a ride to work and used a company truck for lunch and jumped my own truck. Don’t trust the long bearded driver.

Very clean and a nice staff Beautiful trucks Great rates and very smart. See in the Towing Industry you have tow truck drivers and then you have Towing Operators. The difference is the training and experience tow truck drivers are fly by knight drivers learning the lazy way of doing things. These Guys are not tow truck drivers these guys are Towing Operators and very good at what they do. Think of the cleanest way being the best way in your journey in life and you will never have a problem God Bless

Just used Adams through AAA service for a tire issue. Tyler came out and checked my tire and made me feel good about driving on it. Would definitely recommend.

I had my vehicle towed to the shop for repair. The driver was on time and called to let me know when he was 15 minutes away and called again when he arrived at my location. The driver was very professional and polite. The receptionist who took my call was very professional and very pleasant when taking my information for the driver. This was my first time ever using Adams Towing and I highly recommend them.

Ive actually had to use twice in the past week. We have gotten same driver i think his name is Bradley. He was very helpful, friendly and did a good job. Kudos to that young man

All the other auto shops I called said that I would have to get my car towed and something expensive would probably have to replaced. Called in for a tow at 10:15pm. At 11:15 pm I called back to find out what was the hold up. Snotty receptionist would not give any information. At 11:55pm (which was ten minutes after ETA) I called again 7 times no answer. Do better cause that’s not professional at all

Had a good experience with Adams Towing my lifted truck. The driver was nice and truck was clean on exterior. Due to Covid I was not allowed to ride with driver.

Unfortunately had our totaled car contracted out to Adams after an accident. Although being told by the driver of the tow truck, when he arrived at our home to drop off, that storage would be paid for by our insurance and it should be taken to their lot for insurance purposes, we found that was not the case. After being quoted 3 different prices, our damaged vehicle is finally being towed to our home after $600+ out of pocket. Tow driver was nice but uninformed and the rest of the staff my husband spoke with were pretty rude.

Over the period of maybe 7 years I have been cut off more times than I can count by an Adams tow truck. The drivers are complete knuckle draggers who will try to race you at a light to try and satisfy their inferiority complex. Money better spent elsewhere.

No one enjoys vehicle problems but the driver from Adams Towing was very friendly, easing the stress of the situation. Thanks!

Our road trip from Wisconsin to NC was going smoothly until our van suddenly quit running at 75mph on a very busy interstate during rush hour. We weren’t able to pull over to the left but managed to get to the left against a wall. Traffic was zooming by, it was 96* and no power in our van, it was frightening. Called AAA and Adams towing came quickly, our tow truck driver Kyle was AMAZING! He stayed calm, crawled under our van to check a few things before having to tow it off the highway. Cars were not moving over to give him space and not once did he yell, complain or act stressed. He was quick, efficient, helpful and clearly takes pride in what he does! I was concerned after reading reviews online but clearly these other reviews didn’t have Kyle helping them! Can’t say how grateful we are for such great service!! THANK YOU KYLE!

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a tow company. I didnt even call them, AAA did. My uncle works in corporate at AAA and I will be speaking to him about removing Adams from their call list. Driver was extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never had anyone show up and act like this dude did. Literally sat out in the cold waiting over an hour for dude to show up past the time he was supposed to show up. Do not use adams. Worst tow company in NC. There is a reason they only have 3 stars and not 5 like everyone else

Wouldnt let my fiance come in to help me acquire my items from my totaled car due to covid but the car is outside in a lot. The lady also behind the window seemed like she was having a bad day or just didnt want to be there. Then I kindly asked if they had a Phillips head yo take my plates off they said no. Now lets be honest you can be a tow and recovery places with a workshop which they had and not have a screwdriver. Overall if I could give it no stars I would. If you want a place to treat you right go to Whitfiled towing or Morgans towing.

Devin was absolutely AMAZING! My mother and I travelled to Greensboro from Virginia to retrieve her car and it died as soon as we got to the gas station. We called AAA and they dispatched this company to us and he was a GODSEND! He not only tested and swapped the battery in 2.5 seconds, he also did it BEFORE he was set to arrive to us and made sure we were okay prior to leaving. That type of customer service is lacking in this day and age and he did it so effortlessly! This company is the real deal! Thank you for getting us on the road safely!!!

Speedy tow

Was almost hit by one of their trucks because he did not yield for on coming traffic. Had to slam on breaks to keep from being side swiped. When I called in to the office I was told that she would say something. She was not familiar with the area and that there was nothing she could do.

My fathers SUV would not start one wonderful Monday morning. Even though I own several sets of jumper cables, not one set could be located. I called AAA and they sent out Adams Towing. It took a little longer since this particular Monday was busy. However, the technician called me and told me he was on the way. Gray came out to assist me. He checked the battery and told me it was a bad cell. I was going to get him to jump me off and purchase a battery at my local auto parts store with my military discount. Gray informed me that I needed to call and do a price check. It turns out that I got a better battery and saved even more money getting my battery through Adams Towing/AAA. Gray installed the new battery and ran another diagnostic test to make sure everything was good with the new battery. I do not mind waiting for good customer service. Gray was nice, polite and knowledgeable. Next time I will make sure I ask for AAA to send out Adams Towing to assist me. :)

Miguel provided exceptional customer service, was friendly, explained the options for a replacement battery and even showed me how to get into my trunk which I could not due to power/battery failure. He was very patient with my questions and answered them honestly. I actually felt better after speaking with him. It was a great experience.

Bruce, the technician who came to my rescue, and was referred to me by AAA services, was very informative and helpful in giving me advice about future maintenance of my car. He arrived to my location within a short amount of time and also called to confirm his proximity to where I was. He was very professional and polite. Needed a truck towed on one occasion and pulled out on another and both times they were on time and no issues.

These people are just BAD ! I have read many bad reviews and things online but tonight one of there drivers ran my son of the road doing about 70 mph on hey 85 . Once my son was able to get back on the road the Adams Towing driver was observed weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating and bright lightning people who would not get out of his way . The state troops were called as was Adams towing. The young lady who answered the phone at Adams towing didnt seam to have a care in world just like there driver . These people continue to get bad reviews and endanger people life and safety, we as a community need to hold them accountable and spend our money elsewhere.

It took less than an hour for the tow truck to arrive. They loaded up my vehicle and delivered it to Firestone with no problems. I see a lot of reviews on here that are negative and it left me feeling a little concerned about who my insurance company called. But to my surprise they are great.

Miguel was extremely helpful. He explained what was wrong with my battery and made me aware of my options. He even suggested some repairs that I should have done to my vehicle. Most importantly, he was very quick and got my vehicle running again! Thanks again Miguel!

These people walked into the middle of a church service to look for the owner of a car we needed towed.. It wad a rental and it was the very first car in the parking lot with two flats. They left without calling or even attempting to find us via phone. They were also 2 hours away from when they said theyd show. Then the most rude, sensitive little girl answered the phone and proceeded to call me a liar when I told her i never revived any calls. Hands down, the worst experience Ive ever had. Basic training was less stressful than listening to this unprofessional mess of a business try and justify their laziness and poor work ethic by blaming me for them not being able to look out of a window and see the only car with two flat tires in a church parking lot.

I have had two recent experiences with Adams Towing and would recommend them in a heart beat! Cody came to my rescue in the Walmart parking lot and had a smile on his face the entire time. Miguel had to come to our house today and his kindness and helpfulness in replacing our old battery was awesome. Definitely a company that expects a lot from their employees and these gentlemen to receive an A+ from me!

I am very pleased with this company, I was referred to them through triple a. The guy arrived 20 minutes earlier than the eta, and was very nice and knowledgeable and patient with me. I knew nothing about changing a flat and he definitely showed me and taught me everything he was doing. Some of the best service Ive ever had! Wish I wouldve got his name, thank you so so so much!!

Bruce came out on a AAA call to replace my car battery. He was knowledgeable and thorough, also quick. He arrived within 30 minutes of scheduling with AAA. Ive had Adams towing handle my AAA calls in the past. They always do a great job.

Good driver attud faster and good price

Miguel was professional and timely. He even had a battery with him because mine was DEAD and could not be resucitated. He explained what his diagnostic equipment was saying. My husband knew it was over due to be changed (> 4 years since bought car new Honda FIT) and was happy when I called and said the price was great and especially since he didnt have to leave work and buy a battery to put it in the car.

The lady who assisted me first was very polite and knowledgeable. The guy who picked up the car to bring it back to me —- was very nice and had good customer service skills. ThankYou Adams Towing!!

The tow truck arrived within about 15 minutes, and Jeff, the tow truck driver was extremely helpful recommending a shop to take our car to get it fixed (and taking it there). Then Jeff called me a couple days afterwards to make sure I got good service at the shop he recommended, and that my car got fixed and we made it home safely. I was floored he took the time to follow up and check on us! Excellent customer service!

My insurance contacted Adams Towing. I was called back with a wait time of 1 hour. I was only 2.5 miles from Adams Towing. I was sent a link to a site that informed me of what the status is of my service. The service tracker informed me that Adams was in route twenty minutes after my call. After the hour I called back my insurance and I stayed on the line while they contacted Adams. My Agent told me that the office associate said that the driver got caught in a traffic jam and would be there in fifteen minutes. I waited fifteen minutes and called Adams myself, the office associate said that there wasnt a traffic jam and there wasnt anyone dispatched yet to help me and it is due to a breakdown in communication and she blamed my insurance (lie). I never once yelled or was rude to her I only expressed my concern that they please hurry. She never said sorry or apologized for lying and making excuses. A company is only as good as its employees and this company is not being represented well by their office employees. If you value being treated with respect and appreciated as a customer then taking your business elsewhere is a wise decision.

Recently called AAA for a flat tire. Adams Towing & Recovery was contacted and sent Jeff to handle my situation. I cannot express how wonderful my experience. Jeff was very personable, compassionate and competent. He called later to follow up and to make sure there were no issues with the changed tire or any part of my experience. All businesses should have customer service this good. Thank you!

I cant thank them enough for helping us out. I have totaled my SUV coming from Raleigh. After getting in contact with my insurance company and figuring out what I needed to do Wendy and Mandy have helped me. These ladies are God sent. Their truck driver Ken was professional, compassionate, very respectful and helpful. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I can’t say enough about Adam’s towing. I was stranded on the side of the highway with a flat tire and they came to my rescue. AAA had told me it would be about an hour and a half but he was there within 20 minutes of me calling. They got me to the service center and got me checked in. The driver was just so friendly and really turned my day around.

The driver we had needs training and knowledge of the American Disabilities Act and can be grateful we are not pursuing legal action against he and the company. (AAA who contracted Adams Towing has been notified.) My daughter has a service dog (with legit certification - not Internet bought!) and the driver REFUSED to let the dog ride with her in the cab of his truck, stating, “[He] did not care what kind of dog it was, NO dog was riding in [his] truck!” and he made us place the dog in our car which was placed on the back of the rollback. This caused MAJOR anxiety for both the dog AND my daughter. They are never apart, even during hospitalizations. He is very lucky my daughter did not have a seizure!! The medication was in the dog’s vest-pouch. (We were afraid to ask him to stop so we could get it out! You could tell we had disrupted his evening!!) If it hadn’t been after dark, we would have refused service. We will NEVER use, nor recommend Adams Towing to ANYONE!! AAA was in shock and very apologetic. - Business owners should KNOW and should train their employees to KNOW and to abide by the law!! - This driver was rude and insensitive, no matter how politely we pleaded for him to not separate my daughter from her medical alert service dog. - He has no idea just how lucky he is there was no medical emergency!!! My daughter has multiple emergencies a week. He got lucky and so did Adam’s Towing!

I called AAA due to car not starting. They told me it would be one hour. After 1 hr 10 min I called, she said driver was en route. Miguel called to tell me he was 15 minutes away after another hour passed. When he got there, he was very pleasant and efficient. Please tell people up front how long it will take, I was less than 10 minutes from home and could have had someone pick me up if I had known it was going to take over 2 hrs for service.

Just had the best experience in Greensboro Nc today not sure if this the correct one but I wanted to tell someone about my satisfaction with this company like man let me tell you I rarely do these but I really wanted to give a kudos to the men who just towed me home even tried to fix the issue of the car and you know bmw’s can be very tricky they were very nice professional like I couldn’t believe it ..Thank You guys I really appreciated the services and advice !!

So Im suuuuper late with my review but the guy was so great I HAD to make sure I did this. So not too long ago my car broke down, turns out my battery was dying. So I called through AAA and they sent Bruce. Bruce was EXTREMELY friendly and sweet, he made conversation with me and my friend, made sure the battery was fully functional and solved the problem before he charged me and everything. Great guy, great business! Ive never had any trouble with them any of the times Ive needed assistance with my car.

Had a flat tire this morning, AAA sent Gray out to me. They were a little busy this morning but he called me twice to let me know his ETA (which is super awesome so youre not left waiting and wondering). My mechanic pointed out where they were bent and you can clearly see the impression from the hook this company used when they towed my truck to the shop.Find a different company if you dont want to end up with more damage than you had when you first needed a tow

Stranded with a car battery that could not be jumped. Miguel showed up and verified that that was actually the problem and came with a replacement battery so that I could leave from spot I was stuck in. He was timely, friendly, and so helpful. AAA: Ronald did a fabulous job for us!! First, our tools were nowhere to be found. He searched the book to find the correct match in his box of tools. Then, our flat was rusted in place, so he had to work very hard to get it off!! No way my husband could have done this, especially with an audience!! Thank you, Ronald!!!

I had two flat tires on my car on a Friday night. I contacted AAA for Roadside assistance. And they contacted Adams Towing. After waiting three hours for them to show up, I was able to get in touch with the driver. He told me that Adams towing, only had one flat bed truck, and it was only going 5 MPH. After waiting another hour, I called AAA again and asked if they had given up on Adams towing. AAA said, Adams towing had given on them. But thankfully Battleground towing came through and got me home. Adams towing advertises as a AAA service business, how can you put that on your website? And leave people stranded on side of the road? SHAME ON YOU ADAMS TOWING!!!!!!!!. AAA should pull their business from you, and demand that you take their name off your website.

The guy showed up to tow my vehicle. Said that there was stuff in the back of my truck and he would not tow it unless I have him $253. While I was debating whether or not to pay him the additional money on top of AAA s payment he said, if youre not going to pay me the $253 then Im going to kick bricks . Thats great customer service. Worst company in Greensboro.

They were contacted through my insurance for roadside assistance and the national region wait time is 1 hr, which I was fine with. It was an hr and 20 minutes and still hadnt heard from them. I contacted the company and the receptionist stated, The driver said once hes done with other clients, he would get to me. Itll be another 30 mins or so. The audacity to say other clients like Im not a client. You get paid by our insurance b/c the INSURED pays the insurance for the service. I would give 0 stars as well. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. sure did cancel the service and got another tow company to give service.

Recieved great AAA service from Nyrobe he was just sweet and pleasant! Worked quickly but efficiently and for that Im thankful. My situation was not ideal but he made sure I got my car to where it needed to be in no time!!

I am curious as to what kind of PROFESSIONALS this company has driving for it. I was just on my way home when one of the trucks ran up on the back of my bumper which tells me he was doing way above the posted speed limit. When I proceeded to tap my brakes to get him to back off, he got closer and turn on his bright lights. Mind you this is all with my son in the truck. I pulled into the center lane to let him go around so I can get his tag number. When I got behind him he turned on his work lights in an attempt to blind me while I was driving. On down the road I was going to get into the turn lane to turn off from behind him and he took his truck with a loaded vehicle on the back of it and and ran me to the curb on the other side of the road. Basically using his truck as a weapon. I know nothing about this company but what I do know is that they need to take a good hard look at the drivers

Great business

I was very unhappy with the service I received. I had a flat tire while driving and call for roadside assistance. They sent me a text saying that Adams towing would be coming to assist me. When he got to us I expected he would change the tire instead he towed me to a nearby service station. He could have easy changed the tire right there. The car on way off the road on the far right side of the ramp not even on the highway. All he did was load the car on his tow truck and back up the ramp. He then drove us to a nearby service station and unloaded my car. We then had to wait for someone else to change my tire. I then had to pay the service station to change the tire. The service stations manager asked me why he didnt just change the tire. I have contacted the roadside assistance company to let them know about the sub-par service we received. Unhappy customer, I wish I could give them no stars !

Owner is a piece of work, I taught him a lesson today and am pursuing legal counsel. He messed with the wrong dude. Guy is a scam,his little Napoleon complex deserves to be tied in a knot.

Sent by AAA to unlock car. Adams Towing arrived within 1/2 hour of the call. Miguel was courteous, professional and efficient with concern for not danaging the paint on the door edge. I was very impressed with his service.

Had them tow for a AAA call from Greensboro to a scrap yard in Winston Salem. When we get there the driver says AAA wont pay for the tow to scrap yard. That was my fault I should have verified. After talking to AAA to confirm this I call to pay $168 for the tow and the driver takes off from the lot without a word to me. The dispatcher who I am trying to pay on the phone has to go talk with her supervisor as to why he left and then gets back on the phone with me and says the salvage guys threatened him so he left. Why would they threaten him when they wanted the car??? So the tow truck driver takes my car all the way back to Burlington. I beat him there and have to wait for his arrival. He gets there and my bill has become $360 since he stole my car and took it back to Burlington. And it gets worse. They will only take $250 on credit card. The rest has to be cash. If I didnt have to be at a funeral I would have called the police. So I let it sit for the weekend and pick it up Monday for a grand total of $434. The driver and people I delt with that Friday were horrible and stole my car. Itd cost me way more than $434 in time and travel for me to take them to court, so I am writing this review and filing a complaint with NC Department of Justice. This company is not Better Business Bureau accredited and it shows. I am responsible for the $168. I feel like I was ripped off for the remainder of the costs as I was literally on the phone to pay the tow bill and he just drove off with my car.
