Midway went above and beyond for us! We flew into Burbank airport. I called to let them know we had arrived and see if they had a shuttle. They didn’t but they sent someone immediately over to give us a ride. I tried to tip the driver and he wouldn’t accept the money because “it was his job to take care of us”. But really that wasn’t the case! We got our car without problems. All of the associates were so nice. When we returned the car they gave us a ride back to the airport. I would definitely use them again!!!
Ive never experienced a family like and personal customer experience. Sally and her team were amazing in making. Making sure I always got the right car and took care of every issue I may have had, which was NOTHING of their fault other then me extending at the very last minute. Thank you Sally, you are AMAZING....never renting anywhere else.
Unfortunately me and my family have a really bad experience since we arrived, I made a reservation for two cars and when we arrive they dont have any cars for us, told us that they called us to cancel and we supposedly never answered them. The thing is I have evidence that I make 2 calls to confirm but I dont have any calls from them, well a nice Spanish lady help us and find two Toyotas Corollas, One had a maintenance warning, they told me that was nothing, so that made me nervous the whole trip and when I tried to print the contract that we signed, because we supposed to received a email with the receipt with the transaction and that never happen, I tried to open the contract that mom signed and surprise I cant. We started calling them and the Burbank office never answered me, only the central office who promise me to send the message to them and have someone call me back, I want copy of the contract, thats all that I want. Finally never receive a call back, when they make the charge in my card, the was a completely different amount than what we agreed in person, but surprise again, I dont have any evidence to proof that because they never sent me anything! Why I write this review please never leave that office if you dont have evidence in your hands of what you signed please, I am still asking for solution but always they dont have answers for me and promised someone who can help me back, and guess what, Im still waiting, Its been a week now.

This place is terrible. Not only did they not tell us they closed at 1pm they are trying to charge us 2 extra days even though we documented with photo and video we dropped off the vehicle. Stay away it’s a shady place.
Really great experience renting from Midway. Reservation made same day, nice staff, very efficient and a great car- brand new Honda Accord at a low price. Big brand competitors were twice the price! Midway sent me comprehensive electronic album of inspection photos of the car for my records, that was a nice touch.
What a perfect experience! Was treated like royalty by Ali Noor! This man is a magician and took care of all my needs. On top of that they have a great selection of cars and very competitive rates. The Burbank Airport has been an excellent experience as well. Try instead of LAX and rent from Ali.. You will have made the right choice!
We had a great experience with Midway. It was by far the most affordable option at Burbank Airport for the car we wanted. Friendly staff. Quick pick up and drop off, though its a bit of a walk from the main terminal area. There are plenty of gas stations nearby if youre willing to stop and fill up before returning your vehicle and avoid buying a full tank of gas.
It was my first time renting with Midway Car Rental in Burbank and it was wonderful. The car was clean and ready for us and it drove like a dream! The drop off also went very smoothly and I couldnt have been more pleased.
Rental pick up and drop off process couldnt have gone smoother, and everyone I dealt with at Midway was super friendly and helpful. Bonus points for their customer service, especially Michael who went above and beyond to help return a set of house keys left in the car. Ill see you next time I fly into Burbank!
Second time renting from the Burbank Airport Midway. First time was good and the second time was great! The rental Toyota Camry they had ready for me had a screw in the tire so the employee supplied me with the 2016 Ford Mustang instead and I was really happy about that! They could have given me the Jeep which I hate but they took care of me. Would definitely use these guys for car rental. I always value the most when a company can just get it done and take care of you when something doesnt go right and these guys did. Thanks for the upgrade to the Mustang guys! The quick decision to do so was also appreciated. I was in and out there very quickly.
Customer service is over the top at LAX location. They made every effort to make our experience great including a wonderful upgrade which, by the way, made our vacation GREAT! THANK YOU MIDWAY!!
I rented a 2017 Camry that was well maintained and fun to drive. Checkout to get the car was a little slow, but at a small location its hard to get through everyone quickly! The staff at the desk, at the inspection during checkout, and at check in were all friendly. When you checkout the car they take a video all around the vehicle and email it to you, which is great for liability.You can easily walk to this location using a sky bridge.
After taking two shuttles to arrive to the rental lot, we waited for over an hour to receive our rental vehicle. Our vehicle was presented to us with a completely empty tank and we had to try and find the nearest gas station after a long day of travel (which wasnt in the safest or greatest neighborhood). They offered us a 5% discount for the inconvenience and when we received the invoice - they did not hold up their offer AND charged us for dropping the vehicle off with an empty tank which was how we received it. AVOID this place!
This was the second time weve rented from MCar. It was a great experience both times. My only wish is that they had their own shuttle back to the airport. The first time we rented, the driver from Joes Parking was incredibly rude. The second time was fine.
Drove across the valley only to hear that they dont take debit card even if its got a Visa logo and IS a visa as well. Midways employee at Burbank airport wouldnt even give us his name when I said you could have mentioned that BEFORE I drove down here he didnt care and when I asked for his name he became defensive and said he didnt do anything wrong so we asked him why he wouldnt give his name and he said Im not telling you my name.Ridiculous, beware!
Showed up in Burbank on short notice and had to rent a car on the fly. Had one of the best car rental experiences of my life. Great job.
I booked Midway car rental though Priceline and everything was perfect and smooth. I got the car on time, no delays - the car was a brand new model and kept in perfect condition -neat and clean and had a very good mileage. No body forced me to take any additional coverage - and the return was fast and nice. The only thing is the walk up to there is bit tough with the luggage and it takes a good 10 mins. Other than that every thing was very nice. I would definitely opt for M-Car in my next visit to LA.No reason for not to rate it a 5 star.
Great car, not in Burbank airport. I booked from Midway because of their 5.0 rating. I thought it was across from the airport where the other car rentals were. I was told to call to have someone pick us up. I have problems with my foot and cant do a lot of walking. I called when we got off the plane but there was no answer. My husband walked to where it said, car rentals, and he saw a sign that they had moved. He said it was about a 15 minute walk so when he got back to where I was sitting, he was upset. I called again and was picked up promptly. The Corolla I had booked was gone so they upgraded to a Toyota Rav. Tried to upgrade us insurance as I expected. The car only had 500 miles on it. We were not going to be driving for several days of the trip but the days we were going to be driving, we would be in the car for a couple of hours so I wanted something comfortable. I would book again. My husband wouldnt because of his irritation in not getting ahold of anyone at first. I think there are two people who get the cars and if they are busy picking up other customers, you wait.
Midway helped us out when their competition couldnt - they got us into a clean, new vehicle at a great price. Customer service was top of the line and they were easy to work with. Thanks Ali and team!
We rented a car from MCar for Labor day weekend, departing from Burbank airport. Somehow I made a mistake in my reservation time (switched am for pm) but the MCar team made everything work fine despite my mistake and the fact they were closed when we landed. Great experience. I wont look further next time I travel to LA.
Impeccable service that went above and beyond. My flight got delayed but Arbi Ghazarian (thank you) stayed late even after their closing hours and made sure the process was smooth.Note to others, check out their business hours as their open hours are shorter than the bigger rental companies and make sure to call them if there is a change in your travel plans.
Ypu cannot heat the price or professional service. The car was so well kept too!!!!

Wasted my time, refused to accept my credit card which was not issued by the bank they knew about. Very poor customer service. Stay away from this place.No, thanks, I won’t reach out and waste any more of my time. I’m all set now with great rental from elsewhere without ridiculous questionable “internal” rules about what bank’s credit cards are acceptable.
