I had to call a repair man to fix my washing machine, after I had washed a crumbling rug. I called yesterday morning and the the repairman was here before 11AM! Not only did he fix the fridge and freezer doors (they were sagging and losing air) he reattached the seal at the bottom of the fridge we didnt even know was loose! I think the first 2 reviews are a scam! Both those reviews showed up at the same time as when i was robbed by these people! I told them I was going to tell everyone I knew in Burbank not to use this company! DONT use these people!!!!Heres what happened...I called them to repair my washing machine. It was leaking. I wasnt home when they came. My husband was home. They told my husband the dryer was broken as well. IT WAS NOT!!!! They changed out a part in the dryer. Now my dryer doesnt even dry. They charged me $100 for parts and $500 for labor!!!! They robbed me of my money and pretended to repair something that wasnt even broken. Their website says Burbank but they are not a local business, their website says they are part of the BBB which they are not!!! I would have reported them to the police if I thought I could. I have to call another repair place to come and fix the dryer that this company broke and stole a functioning part out of my dryer! Before they came, my dryer was not broken and it dried within 20 now after their debacle it takes almost 60 minutes! They fixed my washing machine! But at what cost!

Alex 1 was AWESOME! He was here within 30 minutes. Figured out the problem, had the part and fixed it all within an hour! Saved my food. Couldnt recommend them more.

We called at about 8:30 and they said that they would come between 9 and 12. Sure enough he came at about 11:00 and went to work. It was $45 they said to diagnose the problem and we were happy to hear that that the diagnose part is included in the total cost if you go with them to do the job. Over all I have no problem with this company...the price was fair (once he worked with us on the price), and the guy that came was nice and got the job done quickly and our fridge works great now. I would call them again for another job.

Originally I contacted Smith Brothers because my washing machine was not spinning.They sent out a repairman who diagnosed my washer and told me that I needed to replace the drum.He gave me an estimate of $600 for parts and labor! I told him it was too much and proceeded to call Burbank Appliance Repair for a second opinion. Sure enough the Tech said my belt had broken and all I needed was to install a new one. I agreed to do the repair and my bill only came out to $175 with parts and labor. Not only did they save me $400 they also gave me tips to prevent future issues. A++ SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!

Where do I begin...the only reason these people even get one star is because they showed up.The repair man came out and was the grumpiest man Ive ever met. It was like, I was so inconveniencing him to even be at my house.We had a broken washer, he told me the part he needed. I ended up calling whirlpool direct and having them fix it (although the part he said he needed was the WRONG part and it delayed my washer getting fixed by another week).While he was here, we also had him install a side bent onto our drier. I told him we were doing that so we could push the dryer against the wall.He left without hooking up my dryer and testing it. Didnt push it against the wall either. I guess he couldnt be bothered.So after I finally got my wasnt fixed, I tried using the drier. My house wreaks of gas, and the hose that my husband had to attach fell off. Not only that, but the drier started to leak water. Its a stackable unit, so its not like the washer would leaks from the top (the washer sits on the bottom).So we call this company and tell them the drier is pouring water from the hook up that he installed. Im on the phone with the guy, watching my drier lean, and hes like, thats impossible. He literally tells me- planes are meant to fly and cars are meant to drive- a drier cant leak water.W. T. F.Im STARING at my drier leaking water from the vent they installed.He does not offer to send someone out. I tell him Ill just go ahead and share my experience online and I hang up.Im in the middle of writing the review and he calls me back- super aggressive and tells me how this is not his fault. And then, he tells me how the repair guy had told us to get a new vent hose and how we didnt listen to him.(WHIRLPOOL HAS a Warning sign on the back of the dryer telling you that the kind of vent HE SUGGESTED catches fire and do not use.)At this point Im just so frustrated that he called me back, not to apologize and say hey Im sorry, Ill send someone out to just make sure it was installed properly. No. He tells me, you have two options- call someone else or we can come out and charge you if thats not the issue. HA!! As if I would give this dude another dollar.I said no tbanks, Ill call someone else and just write the review. He said, thats ok, weve been in business since 1996 so were ok. I said, well, yelp wasnt around in 96, and if you continue to treat your customers so poorly you will be out of business pretty soon.Anyways, I just stuggest to call someone else. The customer service and follow up is so poor, and shoddy work to make a buck. Call anyone else.

I called Burbank Appliance Repair after calling 3 other companies. Each one of them eft a bad taste in my mouth. The first couldnt come out until two more weeks. Thats completely unacceptable when I have a full fridge of food which will spoil. The 2nd & 3rd wouldnt give me any prices over the phone. Burbank Appliance Repair offered me a very reasonable ballpark estimate of what the repair may cost and sent someone out that SAME DAY! Most incredible (and what inspired me to leave a review) is that the whole thing actually cost me substantially less then even the ballpark figure they quoted me over the phone!Great company. Great work!

My refrigerator had a defrosting problem and I called Burbank Appliance Repair. Technician came at the scheduled time but he spent almost two hours trying to figure out what the issue was and could not find the issue. He quoted me $250 if a whole evaporator assembly needs to be replaced.Of course, I refused such a ridiculous offer and paid $65 for diagnosing problem (technically for nothing as he could not find the issue). I checked the questionable parts by myself with multi-tester and found that thermostat was not working. It took only 5 minutes to find out the issue. The part was only $20 and it took only 15 minutes to replace.This place seems to be unprofessional service. I will never call this place again.
