We had the opportunity to be served by Maxx the Barber ☺️. I appreciate his timeliness and professionalism with my sons. He was thorough and listened to my thoughts. The shop itself was clean and set up nicely. We were asked if we needed help as soon as we walked in and I appreciated the customer service. I also appreciated the music selection. I have serious issues with hair studios that blast provocative and obscene music in the presence of young children. It was also nice to see a hair studio that had all ethnicities being served. Keep up the great work!!!

Poor customer service hands down and rude as hell to white folks!!!!! New manager or something on weekend and would not give my dogs to that crew, had to stand in lobby for 4 min before I was acknowledge by anyone! Guy attitude sucked and told me I had to wait 3 hrs! This kind of treatment from an employee will not be tolerated in this country brother man. Half staff needs to be removed and sent back

We came as a walk-in for my brother. Wait time was about 15 minutes but understandable because they were booked. Dana took us in and did a great job. Extremely friendly and relaxed. Haircut looks great ! Will be returning :) super job!

Very disrespectful people. Called to get my hair and beard trim, they told me to be there in 10mins. Rushed to the mall, ran through mall, made it within the 10 minutes. All that just to receive the most disrespectful customer service every! They didn’t hold my appointment and took a walk in instead. They tried to lie and say I didn’t call, but I called the number in my call history and guess there phone ran. They didn’t care and just brushed me off like i was trash. What’s funny, is a tip $20-30 per service, so they lost a good customer and extremely good tipper. Forgot Pablo was the rudest and has no respect for customers.

Took my son to have a fade. He had recently been with a friend before and wanted to try it. I called made an appointment, totally opened to anyone but Max who took the call could have easily taken the appointment but gave it to Willie. Willie did a great job on my son’s hair but Max totally was professional and kind to pass the appointment on to his coworker. Great clean place!! Highly recommend either Max or Willie!!

Sat for 45 minutes without being greeted or helped so I left. Was one of only 3 people waiting so figured they would just call me next. All the other people went before me then when it got to my turn just ignored me. They jumped on their phone. A couple of people walked right in and sat down. Should have had a check-in stand or something. But even without it was painfully obvious that I was there for a haircut. But not even a hello. Or we’ll be with you in 30 min. All I wanted was a beard trim and I even made a point to stop and get $40 cash from the ATM in food court so they could keep it all without having to give away a bigger cut. Would have taken 15 min tops.

Every time I go with an appt I’m never seen on time and today I booked for 3 to go on my lunch break and they pushed my appt back to 3:45 and didn’t tell so I wasted 20 mins waiting for nothing. At this point after tipping so good consistently and always being on time. It’s apparent that I just can’t expect good timely service. I won’t be back.

I’ve been going to Mr.Dana since the 6th grade and I’ve never been disappointed. He’s a very professional barber and he cuts my hair just how I like it every time.

Gents Barbershop is one of the most professional barbershops I have ever been to. Staff is extremely personable and the shop is pristine. Willy did an awesome job on my son’s hair cut. It was super easy to make an appointment online. Even if you do not have an appointment, they are very accommodating at trying to get you in. We will definitely be returning.

We were given a 2:00 appointment time with Camilo and arrived early for the appointment. We waited until shortly after 3:00 before we finally walked out. The manger called the guy multiple times and the information we kept getting was that Camilo was walking on the door. The first time we heard that was at 2:20. In waiting over an hour Camilo never showed up.We will NEVER use Gents again. It was a great place when it first opened. Sad that customer service has gone down the toilet.

First time there for me. My son recommended Gents to me. I was a walk in and waited only like 5 mins. Pablo did my cut and trim. He listened to what i wanted and did that and more. I did not expect the facial massage but that was great. He did a excellent job trimming my beard and hair. Ill definitely be back. Thank you

I wasn’t sure what to think when I first came here as mall salons/barber shops aren’t the best. However, I was happily surprised when I was taken back after only waiting for less than 5 minutes (they take walk ins and appointments). David was my barber and he gave me one of the best (if not the best) hair cuts I have ever had. His skin fades are exceptional (best fade I’ve ever had) and his precision is on point. I’ll be coming back. 100% recommend.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!! I called to schedule an appointment as a first time customer( and last time). I allowed them six minutes of my time before hanging up to make an appointment, all of that time I was on hold and no response. So I physically go to the mall to walk-in. They are either cutting someones hair or on their phones. So I wait a solid ten minutes before being called to get my hair cut. I am seated and asked what I want. I told the barber exactly what I needed. They spent a good amount of time looking at their phone before even beginning my cut. Not to mention when I am getting my haircut it seems like they only cut part of the top and most of a line-up. This other gentleman came in the store and had an appointment, but he called out or was fired and his wait was an hour. I have literally gotten better haircuts at Great Clips. That says something. And it seems that they speak Spanish to whoever they respect. $34 down the drain as well as my time and gas

Ive been looking for a barber shop for a very long time. Ever time I get my haircut, they style it and I hate it...I always gotta go to the bathroom and fix it.I tried Gents for the first time. (I hate going to the mall)I got Daniel.I think he is new there.But it was the best haircut Ive had in 4 years.If you go to Gents ask for Daniel! Hes great!

I been looking for months for a good barber. Over and over again visiting different places leaving disappointed, until I found this place. Dana it’s my new barber, he was great, I went with my two boys, they are not easy but he was very patient and attentive. I totally recommend this place and Dana!

When I walked in with my 7 year old son, I was told right away that we would be next. Never asked my name, if we had an appointment, never said we needed an appointment. 40 minutes later (after several people were seen ahead of us), we were asked if we had an appointment, I was so mad, the man told me that my son could be seen in 30 more minutes. I will NEVER step foot into that place again. I would give them no stars but you have to chose one

Hands down, David is the best barber Ive EVER had, hes a magician! He does a great job EVERY single time and I always get up out of the chair feelin like a million bucks! The lady there is also very nice and accommodating and greets me by name every time I walk in. Dont hesitate to go see David if you ever get the chance, hes the best in all of Atlanta

Service was amazing never got pampered like that at a barber shop. I come from NY and had a barber for 13 years there so its been stressful finding a good barbershop went through a lot of trial and error was losing hope. Then one day a barber (Willy) gave me a brochure so i gave them a shot. I was not disappointed people there was great made me feel like home. Willy understood what i wanted and killed it. I pay a little more but worth it.

Shop was extremely well kept. Friendly customer service and a good overall vibe. TVs play cartoon for kids, sports for adults, and everything else in between. Excellent conversation while in the chair receiving your cut. Maxx was very thorough with my cut and made sure to check it was to my liking. He was personable and down to earth. First time ever getting a cut in GA and Id reccomend this shop to anyone hands down. No need to look for any further. And Im picky lmao.

First time today here and was attended by Rich 10/10 would go back and get a nice haircut and hot towel treatment by him. I loved the atmosphere, great experienced barbers and way they transformed me from a 6/10 to a 9/10 according to my friends. They just got a new client!

I just got my second haircut there and I can honestly say everyone there is professional and they love what they do. The barber or artist I should say I use is Cristian. He took me between clients as a walk in the first time, did not rush through the haircut and has a perfectionist mentality when it comes to cutting hair. I will definitely be utilizing him as my barber from here on.

Pierre was very professional. He went out of his way to make sure that my cut was to my liking. I have never received the genuine hospitality and level of professionalism received here anywhere else. I am recommend this experience to all and definitely will come again!!

Cristian has been cutting my hair and trimming my beard for a while now and he always does a fantastic job. He is professional, friendly, and always makes sure I am happy with his work. If you need a hair cut or beard trim he will not disappoint you.

Me and both of my sons go at least twice a month and has alway been first class! We see David and cristian, but have also seen Pablo and max. All have been nothing short of perfect. This is the absolute best place to get a men’s haircut.

I was very impressed at the service provided at this location. I called about 15 minutes before arriving, but even with the short notice Maxx made sure to do everything I wanted. He took the time to ensure every detail was perfect even though he was the only barber left and I came in an hour before closing. Although he had three other people waiting behind me, he didnt rush, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be a regular of his going forward. Highly recommend.

My husband drives an hour to get his haircut here. Today we actually made an appointment and waited 35 min past appointment time after being told twice it would be a few more min. We finally just left. They do a great job but I feel like they wasted our time and a long drive.

Dave has been my primary barber for over a year now. After going there with the same style, it becomes easier to get in and get out. Generally takes 30 minutes.

$27 for a average haircut is absolutely outrageous. Very gimmicky. Stick to sports clips where atleast you get a massage and shampoo.

Have to say this place has provided me one of the worst examples of customer service ever! I made an appointment for 1 and got there at 12:40. I checked in with the lady that I believe is one of the owners. She was polite and gracious (offered me a bottle of water). I sat and waited. The barber I was scheduled with took another client at 12:45. At 1:20 I was still waiting. No one approached me to apologize for the long wait. I got the attention of one of the two barbers who were not busy ( they were in the front of the shop taking selfies) and asked him to cancel my appointment. He asked for me to wait a moment. Did I mention that the lady was nowhere to be seen at this point? He went to the office in the back of the shop and stepped inside closing the door but leaving enough open so that I could still see him. I saw him talking to someone though I dont know who that was. He looked my way a couple of times and then came back to the front where I was waiting. All he said to me at that time was we cancelled your appointment. No apology for the wait when I had an appointment...no offer for someone else to help me...nothing! This was my second time visiting this establishment and the first experience wasnt much better. If this is their idea of customer service I can not in all honesty and with any integrity suggest anyone visit this place.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY - VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK Took my son here because it looked nice, there were young barbers so I would expect them to be current on styles, there was a line which indicated high demand to me. When we went in we were originally told that one of the younger guys finishing up would be who would see us. After some conversation among the employees we were shuffled to an older barber and told he would see us. (apparently he should have been next in the rotation of stylists and he complained so we were shifted to him) He introduced himself as Max and he very briefly spoke to my son(15 yrs old) and then proceeded to start the haircut. After the haircut was finished and paid for we left. Once we got out of earshot of the shop my son begged me to let him go sit in the car. He HATED his haircut. Like HATED - Did NOT want to be seen in public with it. It was then that he told me it didnt look ANYTHING like the picture he had shown him. I asked my son to show me what he had shown the barber and I was horrified. He was absolutely correct, it looked nothing like the picture. He did NOT want to go back and talk to them because he was already mortified and all of his hair was gone so there was nothing they could do to fix it. After mulling it over I decided to go back and talk to them, at least ask for my money back since he was so unhappy with it.I went back to the Barber shop and I spoke to a very friendly lady who had been helping out around the shop. She asked me to get my son to come in and talk to them. He wasnt having it. When I approached the subject of receiving a refund the conversation was changed and the owner of the shop joined us. He explained that there was nothing that needed to be fixed - it just needed to be finished. He wanted us to trust them to finish it. My son was having none of it. After having his hair butchered the way they did he didnt want any of them coming anywhere near his hair again. I dont know if it was an OFF day, or if Max really just has no idea what hes doing, but the end result is a 15 year old boy who is so unhappy with his haircut he doesnt even want to go out in public, they did not refund any of my money because we did not say something about how unhappy he was before we left the shop. My son felt bad for the barber, he didnt want to hurt his feelings or upset him. - Lesson learned. We will not ever step foot back in this establishment, we will not refer anyone, as a matter of fact we will do everything we can to deter anyone we know from going to that hack shack ever. The least they could have done was 1. given us our money back or 2. offered us a free cut the next time hes ready for one with a different stylist. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY - VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK
