These people dont know how to cut hair at all i went in for a simple touch up and beard line up and they messed it up so bad, uneven lines, rough cutting and no attention to detail whatsoever, i could’ve done better myself at home and i dont know anything about cutting hair .

Brought my baby boy in for his first cut and Ms. Shay took care of him. She is a beast with the clippers. Very nice environment, a good feel and real professional.

I waited 30 - 45 minutes as a walk in to be told that they couldnt cut my hair because the barber didnt know how. All I asked for was to have two inches cut off. Before I even sat down the other barbers were teasing me about my weight, telling me to calm down and that theyd buy me food later.

You may be BETTER OFF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. It may be a convenient location but youre rolling the dice if youre going to get a good cut or not. Weve been disappointed two out of the three times we went to this place and WILL NOT RETURN to this barbershop again. We SPECIFICALLY discussed the desired cut and showed a picture. The end product was far from what we asked for. You cant put hair back on once its been chopped off. Im sure they mean well but we just did not find them to be good at their craft.

I drive 20 minutes away just for this shop. Im still trying to get use to the barbers. So far there were two that did a great job but one didnt meet my expectations. A picture was shown and I know it wont come out perfect but this was way off from the picture. He did it quick while other clients were still in their chairs before us. My advice would be if you have a style in mind, walk in ask if someone can do it and if someone cant do it have someone who can so your reputation wont get hurt. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS SHOP, its super clean friendly, its comfortable. Price is fair. I would still drive 20 minutes just for them.

Great experience the professionalism from the barbers are second to none. The barbers will get you in and out in a timely matter, most important the barbers are consistent. Not spending to many hours waiting on a haircut is key to me because we all have a lot to do in our daily lives, but also this barbershop have the feel to have real conversions from politics to sports. So sometimes you will be staying around even after youre finished because youre engaged in the conversations that go on. I advise everyone to come to this barbershop its in a safe relaxed location.

I normally don’t write reviews but Steve the barber does an outstanding job on not only me but my son’s hair. It’s taken me 2 years to write this review but it’s well deserved. My son and I go there every Thursday and we always get great professional and high quality service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Also, shot out to T for always being on time and professional. This is not your typical barber shop. If you want great service and great style this is where you need to come.

I wouldnt recommend any other barbershop in the Buford area other than new roots. All of the employees are humble and down to earth, and always ready to greet customers. The quality of their work is unmatched in my humble opinion, but most importantly it is consistent. I get the same great haircut every time I never have to worry about receiving a bad cut.

Always a great experience, you always find the barber of your preference but they are all skilled. Quality cuts and if you go in on Tuesday and Wednsday they have adult and kid cut specials, and when you have 4 heads to cut that makes total sense!! Ask for G, he will take care of you asap..

He catered to our likes and needs. Bama was friendly, welcoming and professional.Definitely going back to them at the Buford location.

Every time I come in, I come out looking right. My cuts are by Frank. However, every one on the shop is a master in their own right.There are different artist in the shop that can cut a master piece. Next time you looking for a cut, stop by the shop.

Haley was the greatest. She was very thorough and confident in her skills. Possibly the best hair cut ive had in years.The shop is clean, convenient, friendly, modern, with an amazingly comfortable leather couches in the waiting area and plenty of TVs for entertainment ad u wait. Reasonably priced and great staff.If ur a woman who wears her hair short I highly recomend the barber experience. Ask for Haley, you wont regret it.

Unprofessional group of men. Will leave you waiting for 2 hrs if you are not their own regular client. Brought my toddler to have his haircut. It was obvious that no one wanted to deal with cutting a toddlers hair. When we finally got to a chair...the man made it apparent he was not feeling like cutting my sons hair. His impatience was showing thru (the guy on the last row to the right). He walked outside to conversate in someones car and left us waiting on him..we left without my sons hair being finished! Aint nobody got time for foolishness! I wouldnt bring my dog here for a cut.

WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!! Not kid friendly at all!!!! I have 2 boys and need a family environment. The barbers were cursing and playing inappropriate videos on their tv. This is a major problem for me. I know this can be the norm at some old school barber shops but no way am I brining my kids to experience that. Thats just my opinion...

The reason I am giving 1 star is because I went in on Friday to get my 2 sons hair cut and I left upset. One of my sons hair had been growing for over a year. It was long enough to put into a ponytail at the top. When we walked in one girl said she was going to do one of my sons and she told me the white girl working in there was going to do my other son, the one with all the hair, which she told me who was going to cut his hair I was already apprehensive and knew I should have said hell no but I didnt against my better judgement. I kind of blame myself for not speaking up immediately and also while I was sitting in the shop another customer warned me that the white girl did not know how to cut black people hair and that she had messed up her sons hair before and she had to stop her and let someone else finish. Well to make a frustrating, heartbreaking, and totally horrible story short she cut all his damn hair off after I had informed her to just do a fade around the back and sides and leave the hair on the top. I was f-ing livid,even though I didnt explode on her like I wanted to. I did talk to someone about it though. I assume it was the owner or manager or something to vent my frustration. I wanted to get my kids Easter pictures, which now I am not going to do now because I hate his haircut, the lineup, and it also looks uneven. She definitely needs more training. Also my other son got slits and both of his eyebrows while he was getting a hair and the girl told me it was because he moved, but how did that happen on both eyebrows. I didnt think the clippers are supposed to be anywhere near my babys eyebrow. She told me to color it in with eyebrow pencil smh. I was very unhappy with the visit. Both haircuts were free, but still... My son came in with a lot of hair and left with hardly any. So not happy.

Haircuts are the one thing that there should be no specials on. Barbering is a profession and most people who get cut take pride in their appearance. The barbers need to take pride in their profession and cut out the discounts.

I have been going to the Hurricane Shoals Roots shop for a year and now I have been coming to Braselton Branch for about 2 months it’s really nice and welcoming here too!!! I like this spot better cos it’s smaller and everytime I come here I am guaranteed a quality experience regardless of who cuts my hair fast. Plus the booking system they have is second to none. Be careful who you go to. I tried a new Baber and my whole hairline is jacked up and the fade look like a damn 3 old did it. Highly disappointed, I don’t know where barbers gets their license nowadays but I rather cut my own hair than to experience a hairline like this again smh. Their are probably two babers that can cut but the rest... smh you’ll be taking a risk

They didnt finish my hair cut and left several hairs untouched. Not only that but I was charged double on a Wednesdays when I should have gotten a cut for ten dollars I recommend you guys pass on this one.
