Completely rude. Knew them as family friends in the community and had insurance through them for nearly 5 years. Went through a divorce and when I requested assistance in figuring the pro rata amount due at the end of the policy period as the vehicles were separated I was told it wasn’t their problem, that handling the insurance concerns of our divorce had been far too much work for them, and that I needed to figure it out myself because they didn’t care too. This came directly from Phillip Perkins, the owner of the agency. This was a shock to me as I had known Mr. Perkins for years and always thought of him as a nice man, but I guess someone’s true colors always show through when their money or time comes into play. Literally his job as my agent to assist in insurance matters and instead decided he didn’t feel like it.I’m now with Harmony Insurance group in Braselton. Much nicer and much more helpful.
