Custom Radio was great installing a remote starter for my car. On the phone they gave me all the details and even talked me down from one of the more expensive options since it wasnt necessary. It was done in a few hours on a Saturday and has been working great! The staff were very friendly over the phone and in person showing me how the system worked.

Called them to get a price on install told them i have my own stuff including a backup camera was told a price so i made a appointment. i called back the next day and told me i could come in the day before my appointment i get there and the quote i was given was not correct it was 100.00 more. was told why it was my backup camera. when i talked to manager he said he was never told about camera when i made sure of this even wrote the name down before coming in. same person claims he never spoke to me. don’t go to any of custom radio shops. they all give different prices for same install

This place is a disaster if your thinking of getting ur car audio or any work done don’t listen to my word don’t its a disaster of a place I promise your car will leave with something broken Iv had friends and family go here and had nothing but problems keep on driving the owner is a joke don’t waste ur time here

I pulled up to Custom Radio in need of assistance with my Maserati only to be very disappointed. Firstly, their parking lot can hold about 3 cars max at a time so if you stop in you better hope you are the only customer. Secondly, I get there and the owner is aggressively swearing at the customer that pulled in before me, dropping F bombs saying he wont refund him his money for a job that sounded like Custom Radios fault. I actually had to pull out into the street to let the dissatisfied customer out of the parking lot... And I didnt pull back in. Thats all I needed to see to never bring my business there ever again.

I gave them a call to get my subwoofers tuned right and I came in that day and got it done. They did it fast and did a great job explained some stuff to me and had me in and out with no charge. Good guys who know what there doing. And great service I will continue t go to them because of how good they where to me.

If your looking to add any electronics or tint to your car go see the team at custom radio as they are SECOND TO NONE in Western New York and they have been around for over 30 years. They make the impossible possible. You can take my word for it or you could have the many horrible experiences I have had prior to finding the only place I will ever let touch my car again. I learned the hard way and I’m hoping my review ensures that you never have to.

My radio stopped working. I went to Custom Radio, Transit Road and the guy said they would charge $65 to check and diagnose what is wrong. After waiting half an hour he said they don’t have time to diagnose and confirm defect but they nevertheless charged me $45 for just looking at.VERY UNFAIR & UNJUSTIFIED.

I had went to all the different places in buffalo for car audio and tint over the years ... I will not ever go anywhere except the orchard park custom radio to see Ray. He stands behind everything he touches and always makes sure you are completely happy with you purchase. Custom Radio has 2 locations but not 2 rays so go to OP to see him.... great guy and great customer service !

I went in there to have my radio installed an they ended up breaking more things then they fixed. They broke my windshield washer button, disconnected my tachometer, pulled the bulb out of my Oil Pressure gauge and at the radio still doesnt work. It only works when the heat is on.The worst part about it was when I went there the manager started yelling at me and saying the vehicle was 40 years old and because it had an aftermarket tach put in that made it hard to work on. I told him, how does that have anything to do with the stereo not working unless the heat is on.By the time I was done, the manager said he wasnt refunding me any money and not paying for the damages to my vehicle.

Friendly = yes, knowledgeable about car audio= NO. had issue with quality of the audio they installed which they said would be better than factory. which unfortunately factory blown speakers had better all around quality. they suggested no alternative solution. so I had them uninstall them. still no rear speakers and cost me $100 for labor and an afternoon wasted. would not recommend ever, after research, found out they sold me speakers incompatible with my car!

Very poor services I had some work done there they over charged me and took me for a ride of $400 the staff needs more experience when it comes down to instaling equipment on vehicles the front salesmen Andrew is a crock and dosent know much about anything and have the nervs to called them self Profesional im very discousted with the way i was treated and they didnt do anything about it or fixing the problem I WAS ROBBED OF MY MONEY!!! Wouldnt recomend the place to no1 very unprofessional..

I went in to have a new cooling fan for the amp installed... Andrew & the tech pointed out flaws in the system connections that were partly the cause of the overheat. I replaced my receiver, added the back-up camera that DID NOT REQUIRE THE CAR BE DRILLED (as Darryls CAR Audio INSISTED!!!)... THE INSTALLATION TECH WAS AMAZING!!! Paired my Alpine Amp & Infinity Loudspeakers PROPERLY to the new Pioneer AVH-500EX Receiver.....4 hrs TOTAL!!! *****NOW I HAVE THE SYSTEM I WANT!!!***** YOU GUYS ARE FREEKIN AMAZING***** AND I am totally greatful!!! WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT!!! I WILL BE SINGING YOUR PRAISES FOR YEARS TO COME....EVERY TIME I GET IN MY CAR & FIRE HER UP!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Just went BACK yesterday (1-8-19) to get CAMERAS front & back, continuous record, HD, wide angle, hard-wired into my Impala, to push back on profiling & harassment by ECSD!!! ***THEY NOT ONLY GOT THE SYSTEM I WANTED, BUT INSTALLED IT 4 DAYS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!!!*** Took the time to make sure it was running properly & were actually jazzed about assisting my legal battle!!! On Tuesday April 10th, I took my 2012 Hyundai Accent to Custom Radio for window tinting on my brand new car. They completed the job after 3 hours. When I got home I noticed a scratch on the outside of my driver’s side rear window and a scratch on the inside of the passenger side front window. It is the exact same type of scratch that is done by a razor blade. I called the next day and asked to speak with the owner but he was out. I was told that hed be in on Saturday, April 14th. On Saturday April 14th at 10am, I went and spoke with Mike and he looked at my car. He stated that the scratch on the inside was his technicians fault but he thought that the other scratch was from a rock or that it could have been there for awhile.He asked if it would be fine for him to review the security camera footage over the weekend and get back to me on Tuesday. I agreed. He called me on Tuesday, April 17th and stated that apparently my car was pulled up too much for him to see my car.This was a brand new car (not even two weeks old); it had NO scratches and/or damage on it PRIOR to taking it to Custom Radio. I would have noticed the scratch since my interior is all black and that my car has a low profile off the ground, hence looking into the car you see black and this was before the tinting. Ive already gotten window replacement estimates from two different companies.Customer/buyer beware!

I have been to the SouthTowns Custom Radio multiple times and have had all three of my new vehicles windows tinted at this location. The service has been great and the quality of the tint and application of the film has been excellent! I have NEVER seen any damage to my vehicles, believe me I check as I am a person who will detail my vehicle after it rains should it be outside.I have never received poor service from Custom Radio from the southtowns location and the staff has always been friendly and willing to assist the customer. I can also say that for having not lived in the Buffalo market for too long that the prices are much more reasonable than other local competitors. In regards to the one review pertaining to poor customer service, I would offer you give Custom Radio another chance someday as I can tell you the individual you likely received poor customer service from is not there anymore. If this location/company did not care about their image and/or their customers they would not have let that individual go. In todays society it is very easy to blast out a flaming review with current technology. It is also well known that it is VERY unlikely for a company or organization to receive a positive review as most people do not want to take the time. This has been proven statistically about many companies. Alas, why I am taking my time to write a positive review of the excellent service and workmanship received from Custom Radio of the SouthTowns.And yes, I am a statistic as it has taken me three vehicles/visits all with no issues and satisfactory workmanship to write a positive review. I trust this review will make up for my negligence.SouthTowns Custom Radio, dont let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Keep up the great work.
