I had booked a Taxi on-line for $95 to pick me up from BUF airport and take me to the Canadian side of Fort Erie. I had a confirmation as well as giving them my contact details at that time. After almost an hour, I was able to get someone on the phone who told me they were having issues and that Taxi would not be coming. The dispatcher suggested I walk to another Taxi post and simply hail another taxi (which I did for $65). You would think they would reach out and tell me that my Taxi would not be coming... They had all of my info on the confirmation they provided me with?

I ordered a taxi 2 days in advance for an early pick up to the airport. They never showed up and did not respond to the live chat or answer their phone. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another ride.

I scheduled a taxi for a Thursday at 8:30 am, two days before my appointment. I called them some minutes after scheduling to make sure everything was okay, and the person who answered the phone has guaranteed me the driver would be there. On Thursday morning, the driver never showed up. After 20 minutes of delay, I called them three times and no answer. A person called me back after some minutes then. I had to explain everything again. Even the nature of my appointment was asked. Nobody knew that I was there waiting for a taxi. The guy asked me for some minutes so that he would try to find a driver. Ten minutes later, I had to call them back again to check if a driver was on their way, and to my surprise, the person said it would take half an hour, which means I would be one hour late. I dont recommend the services of this company at all!!

My 21 year old daughter was returning home from university & booked a car to pick her up from Buffalo airport & drop her off at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls, As the driver was on route, he told her he was taking her to Fort Erie instead because it was faster. Her Father & I were waiting in Niagara Falls. She was absolutely terrified for her life the entire trip. At the border crossing the driver was talking on the phone & not wearing his mask properly which totally irritated the border security guard. She arrived in Fort Erie ahead of us & thankfully was safe. The driver had the nerve to overcharged her as well.

Taxi never showed up and when I called, the guy told me he never seen my request although i booked it through their website.

When I went to the pick up point nobody from the company was there and couldnt get a hold of anybody over the phone to get any support on my booked service.I knew before booking the service that the company is charging way more than regular taxis, but either way I decided to move forward to have piece of mind. However, I needed to end up looking ​for another service provider that ended up being cheaper (70$) and definitely with higher professionalism than this company.I would strongly recommend you do not book anything with this company that doesnt take the service seriously and also are trying to get advantage of Canadian citizenships needing to pass the boarder and charging extra for no reason.​

Go elsewhere for professional and courteous service after your long day of (Covid) travel.The website was comprehensive and there seemed to be good exchange of information; detailed online booking forms & email confirmation. But after that it falls apart.Dispatch got my pick up day wrong, they communicated unprofessionally via text (texts began with “I want...”) and asked me 4 times for flight info that was on the booking form, then they contradicted their own emailed pick up instructions. In the car there was a speakerphone argument between driver and dispatch regarding my quoted rate, which I was glad I took a screenshot of otherwise I’d been charged more. It was all unnecessarily stressful and complicated. The driver was a decent guy who needs a better gig.

Do not rely on this taxi service. I booked ahead of time and unfortunately I had a rebooking from the airline, I notified them and they sent me a new confirmation for my new taxi pick up time. Upon arrival I waited an hour, I contacted them via chat and never got a response for status update after 20 minutes no response I found that the airport has a taxi booth. I recommended using the airport taxi service (633-taxi) instead right outside of the airport, its a lowerfare at 90 to Canada 75 for US side.

My family has used Buffalo Taxi twice to travel across the border into Canada. While I appreciate having this service available, on both occasions the cab driver picked up a second party to double-dip on the way to the border. Most recently, the driver placed an unknown party into the vehicle with my parents, ages 89 and 76. I think this is unsafe and wreaks of greed. The driver even demanded a huge tip afterwards, claiming hardship for having to wait with them as they dealt with customs formalities (There were a total of 6 cars at the border.). I feel that time is already incorporated into their premium price for this service during COVID. The driver made an additional $70 from the surprise extra passenger. Shame on you Buffalo Taxi.

Horrible service, they don’t even deserve the star. I booked with them 2 weeks in advance to make sure I had transportation. Multiple people like myself were stood up today (6/5) from Buffalo airport with no texts or phone calls as to what was happening. We were about maybe 4 groups in total. Dont waste your time booking with this so called business. This company pays money to be on the top of your Google search but comes out on the BOTTOM when it comes to CUSTOMER SERVICE. There are also people that have posted bad reviews on buffalo airport taxi” but they definitely were meant for this business based on what they wrote, I almost posted it there! I had to double check the name. Seems to be slick how they put the BUF in front of their name to confuse people to leave bad reviews on the other taxi services. You’re better off getting the taxis that are across the walkway as there are plenty of them and gave a better price than what they were advertising.

I would not trust the 5 star reviews. I have a hard time believing anyone would find this service amazing. I can see so many reviews now with other people experiencing the same issues I did. If anyone did have a good experience, Im glad theirs was far better than mine. I had reserved a cab ahead of time but when I arrived there was no cab present. I waited about an hour, made multiple phone calls, and attempted to use their online chat feature to get in contact with anyone but had no luck. Finally a cab did arrive but picked up someone else standing next to me who had just walked out of the terminal. I asked that cab driver where my reserved cab was and he said he wasnt sure and would have to call to find out. When I asked him to please make that call, he just told me to go use another cab company instead as he didnt seem to want to go to the hassle of making a phone call. I then used another cab company that was able to help me instantly. This company is completely unreliable and has no customer service to be seen in my experience.

DO NOT USE. Booked over a month in advance to go to Canada, with a confirmation number. Called to confirm in the weeks leading up to it, as well as 20 min before to see if we could get a taxi early. No worries they said, although the taxi would not be able to come early. Booked time arrives and we were not called, and no one showed up. Luckily we were able to get another taxi willing to take us very quickly. New taxi guy told us that there are companies like this that intentionally overbook themselves. They sometimes try and farm their business out to the other taxi companies. We were almost totally screwed, and would have been had we relied on this company.

Friendly, on-time and professional taxi service. Showed up on time going and coming back from Canada. Driver was knowledgeable and nice. They answered all my calls and kept me informed via text. Van was OK. But could have been cleaner but the weather had been bad so I understood. My only concern was online the cars/vans had door logos showing BUF TAXI SERVICE. No logos on van that picked us up. Made me suspicious and concerned and uncertain. Logos give some reassurance to customers. Otherwise everything was awesome. I would use again. 😄

DRIVER FORGOT HIS PASSPORT!! We used Buffalo Airport Taxi to get to/from the BUF airport to Niagara Falls, ON. The ride to the falls was fine, though the driver forgot to tell us if we were paying by credit card that we must do so before crossing the boarder. In his defense, I had read that when I reserved our taxi many weeks in advance, but had forgotten, so we ended up paying in cash. The problem arose on the return trip to the airport. 10 min AFTER our schedule pick up time we get a text message from our driver saying he had forgotten his passport is detained at customs. No other information. We then ask if we should find someone else to drive us and he say probably, as there are others in front of him and he will be detained at least 30 min. While our hotel calls to try find us a different taxi service, I call Buffalo Airport Taxi to see if they can help. They say they will call us back. 30 min past our original pick up time I receive a call back from them, by this time we are in a taxi from a different company, which showed up within 5 minutes of contacting them. Buffalo Airport Taxi advise was to find another company at that point- which we had already done. Later we did call to complain and will receive a refund for the difference in cost between Buffalo airport taxi and the taxi we used, which was a minimal difference. I understand mistakes happen, but the fact is if something goes wrong, dont count on Buffalo Airport Taxi to help you get to your destination in time!

Just completely dishonest people. Bad smells like the people that mostly tun this stick like a trash can and will gag you out with the smell. I tried calling for a ride and they just completely ignored the phone call pick up one and then after I gave them a pick address they just hang up. They are trash people.

I am reviewing the booking process. Very easy and straightforward with online agents available by chat portal almost immediately and very helpful and willing to assist as best they can. I was able to book my ride for the next day in only a couple of minutes. Other operators websites required phone calls or could not book if less than 48 hours but this company had no such restrictions. I will review further the actual ride/pick up once done.

The man was the same guy who answered last night and told me 20 minutes because he was really busy. Terrible, I called a day before for a next day appointment and the company said he will call a cab driver and he never came. Making me late for work -_-. Dont bother calling them and plus they have the nerve to be busy in the morning.
