My laptop was in 2 pcs (hinges broken) and he helped me. Told me his fix and what it would mean. Told me how durable it would be. Explained me. And fixed it on priority since I was a student and my assignments were due soon. He understood my distress and helped me. He also gave me the option to bring parts to him if I want, but I needed an urgent fix so I told him to do what he thinks is right. My laptop was up and running in 2 hours. Thank you sir! I should start by saying I was dead set on going somewhere else to have my laptop repaired, then I called for an estimate and Joe told me the cost. He gave me best case and worst case scenario cost. Not very professional. I expected him to order the screen FOR me and charge me for everything. Instead, the guy had my laptop a couple weeks until he was able to help me select the right screen off Ebay- the first one wasnt correct and had to be returned. Finally replaced the screen o my to find he couldnt properly install it- then when I got home I found the camera didnt work. So while he sort of repaired my cracked laptop screen, he sorta didnt. He just used black electrical tape to hold it together. Id have preferred to pay the extra money to have it done RIGHT.

Im a grad student - and in the midst of finals week my laptop suddenly stopped charging and completely died -_- BUT Joe fixed it really quickly, didnt overcharge, and was very easy to contact throughout the process. My laptop had a very strange issue that I couldnt figure out. Not only was he able to fix it, but I could tell he was really interested in the problem and wanted to find the solution.Hes very upfront and honest with his pricing, which is more than fair. He knows to strike the balance between whats worth his time and whats worth your money.Dont go anywhere else for your computer repair problems, just cut out the middleman and go to Joe because you probably will anyway.

I cant recommend this place enough! Joe was amazing from start to finish. He talked us through what needed to be done to fix the charging port on my laptop, and had the entire project done the next day. In addition to fixing the problem we came in for, Joe did some extra minor repairs and maintenance. We are extremely happy with the finished product!

I went to a repair shop on a Thurs, the next Tues they were still ordering the part. That afternoon I called Joe at Payless Repairs, and he knew the problem (and model), and had the part. After dropping my laptop off at 1:30, he had it ready by 5:30 THAT DAY. The power port was replaced, and he even cleaned out the dust inside my computer. When it died suddenly in the middle of a game I was devastated.After a lot of panic and poor self-diagnosis I went online to find local computer repair. It only took a few days for him to get the tower, selectively test each part to see why it wouldnt boot, find out it was a dead GPU, then install my new one.He installed the new GTX 1060 right in front of me and it was a breeze. I called them up because my laptops audio jack needed a hardware repair. They explained exactly what they would do, exactly how much and exactly how much an additional fee would be if they needed to order a new piece (which is common for this kind of repair.) They even told me how expensive it would be so instead of going through all that they recommended a third party device that would also fix the problem. Thats really high level customer service. Even though I didnt buy anything from them, I highly recommend them as a trustworthy place to get your computer repaired in the Buffalo area.

I cant say anything else other than this place is the best. Professional courteous knowledgeable and Joe is an all around great guy. I explained to him that I had just lost my job and was behind on my bills and would have to wait a fee weeks to pay the repair charges for the computer. I fried my laptop keyboard with a spill and Joe was SO helpful! I opted not to go through warranty because of the amount of time it would take to repair and through talking to Joe, I immediately knew I could trust him. He gave me advice on how to order the replacement keyboard online at the cheapest price and what kind of seller to look for and even took a look at my laptop for no charge to make sure of what needed to be done. While I waited for the keyboard to arrive, he had suggested to use an external keyboard in the meantime which I hadnt even thought of. When the keyboard did arrive and I contacted him to see about drop-off and how long it would take, I really appreciated him giving me a time frame as to if you drop off by this afternoon, I can have it ready by such and such time. Very fair price and quick turn around from drop-off to pick-up. Above all, I would go to Joe at Payless Repairs because he is friendly, experienced, helpful, polite, and a very genuine guy.
