Barber Felix did a fantastic job on the cut, and was friendly. Also was very helpful with deciding what I wanted. Couldnt recommend this place more and its only my first time visiting!

Excellent attention to detail and very punctual if you need to have your haircut happen on time. That also means that you cant just walk in, either late or without an appointment, but the wait is worth the quality of the cut.

Can only speak to one of their Master Barbers (Felix) however he knows how to cut hair. Amazing on the trimmers and straight edge also. AFM has a very clean environment as well

Felix did an amazing job. I am admittedly a pretty terrible barbershop customer-- Im indecisive and I never really know what I want. Even with my very vague direction, Felix was able to turn that into one of the best cuts I have ever gotten. The shape is perfect and his attention to detail was evident. He also did an amazing job with my eyebrows. Environment is very laid back and cool. Would go back any time. On top of all that, the price was great for the quality.

Buffalo, Boston, NYC, etc. I appreciate a good cut.Nate gave me what I strongly consider to be the best fade I’ve ever seen. Even, clean, 000 to a 2. No breaks, no lines, just clean. Mike runs the BEST barber shop in town. Centrally located in the heart of the city on Main St., Architect is consistently the best I’ve come across whether it’s Mike or his staff of talented barbers, you’re not looking as good as you should without stopping in for a cut. Their homemade hair products are killer and they’ve got a keg in the waiting area as well. What more could a man want? I’m a loyal man when it comes to good haircuts, I don’t see myself getting it done by anyone else. Thanks for always bringing your A game, boys.

Excellent quality barbershop

First time in, 15 minutes late starting, didnt do a shampoo that was supposedly included but the cut and the beard trim were pretty good and the guy was nice so I let it slide. He also nicked me but accidents happen. Second time in, 30 minutes late starting, nobody even checking. Was told 15 minutes after my appointment time that the guy was running late by somebody who was clearly free but no acknowledgement whatsoever from the guy cutting my hair. When he is available, he is apologetic and friendly, and seems to really want to do a good job. Asks a few times if its alright, I ask him to cut it shorter and he eventually reaches the right length. He takes money off for being late so I even give him a tip. However, I get home, and while he did cut the front shorter when I asked him, he had not checked if the rest was even, so the back is far longer than the front. I get that he was checking with me if it was fine (after hed put product in and its harder to tell) but I dont expect to have to check every single hair to make sure hed done the most basic thing of making it even. Pretty appalling standard. Guys here are friendly, but apparently poorly trained, unskilled and inconsistent.

This place is really quite a fantastic location to get a haircut or a shave. All the guys that work here are super cool, down to earth, noon-pretentious, and extremely talented. I travel a lot for work and I’m in Buffalo monthly I always get my haircut here. The space is clean, well-designed, and bright; it’s also very easy to get to and parking around the corner is free.

Came in with long flow that needed to be tamed. My man Shawn definitely hooked me up big time! He took his time with the cut and was with me for a full hour just so he got the look right! I started coming here after the guy I always used to see at my last favorite place. I chose Drew because I saw his name most in the reviews. I have gone countless times since then, every time but once to see Drew (I really needed a cut but he was gone for a few weeks). Not only does he always give me a great cut, but he asks me multiple times if it is looking good and if there is anything else I want him to do. Drew is also a nice guy who is easy to talk to if you like conversation. The place itself is modern and beautiful. You can book appointments online for every service which is really helpful. I would recommend Architect and Drew to anyone.

A very laid-back and friendly guy, but also an amazing barber. He took his time to make sure I was 1000% satisfied with my cut. We talked about how to tame the mane and he was precise, detailed oriented throughout. This was the best beard trim I have ever gotten. Trim included hot towel, and straight edge. It was worth much more than the ten bucks (in fact, the pricing is incredibly reasonable). Almost wish I could live here just so I can come to Architect for men. This place is amazing! Modern, clean, and welcoming, Architect for Men is so close to the Fountain Plaza station all you have to do is fall off the train and youre there.Nicole gave me a fantastic haircut; taking my this is how I usually do it and improving on it dramatically. A great haircut and, whatever their custom products are, I smell great now too. Hell, she did such an amazing job I probably wont be single anymore by the end of the weekend.Ill be back and you should too.

So Im in town for a film I am producing but I have also been on the road for 6 weeks and my beard and hair is getting pretty wild. A couple of the local guys on set recommended Mike at Architect so I booked an appointment online (super easy - great website). Mike is an awesome barber/stylist - not only talented but friendly as hell and a real champion of Buffalo. He did a killer job - made me look human again. Definitely going to come back before heading off. Buffalo has a real treasure in these guys!

Cool place. The girl that cuts my hair is really cool. Hot towel on the neck is awesome. Neck shave comes with the cut. They have a steam machine for your pores if you want. I recommend it.

I went to Architect for Men for a long overdue haircut and Nate was my barber. He did a phenomenal job, cut my hair like a true barber, lined it up, shaped it, and made everything much better! Went in recently a couple times before a job interview to get me hair and beard shaped up and Michael (one of the barbers/owner) got me ready for the interview and I ended up getting the job too. I went to Architect for Men for a simple line up on my sides (the simplest haircut one can ask for) and they absolutely butchered my hair line. My hair was more proportional when I walked in to this place than when I walked out. They have wonderful marketing with the free coffee, boutique decor, and fruity creams they apply so generously. They offer just about everything besides a decent cut. Tomorrow I am going to a different barber to fix their mess. Some advice, lose the unnecessary extravagances and focus on the fundamentals of cutting hair.

I scheduled a quick lunch haircut at the first place I found on Google because I was too lazy to get my car from the garage and drive to Super cuts.. what I got was an AMAZING haircut and experience. The master barber is personable and an amazing barber. The salon is clean, modern, and has a big screen TV. I will be returning for my regular haircuts from now on!

First time I went there. Very clean and relaxing environment. Alvin gave me a great haircut exactly what I wanted and he took his time but wasn’t a potato. Parking sucks but that’s downtown buffalo for ya.

One of the worst haircuts I ever received. I needed to go somewhere else a week later because how uneven my cut was. There was no blend. The top was totally scrappy (longer in certain parts). The line for the part was uneven. How can they charge $25 when they can’t even do a proper haircut? You could go cheaper and elsewhere for a better cut.

Moved out to Buffalo in June and came here for a cut. Got one from Reinaro and have been going to him since. Gives a great cut, good guy and always makes time for his clients. If youre going to see anyone when you go here make sure its him!!!
