I just recently purchased a 2017 Ram 1500 from them. Honestly it was the quickest and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. I knew exactly what I wanted, and they were up front with what they had. The truck was detailed and ready to go. There was a little hiccup with the financing portion due to them not being able to accept a credit card as a down payment, so I had to come back to the dealership and use another form of payment. That was more on the banking side than the dealership, so I can’t blame them. They took care of me by filling up my tank, to cover the drive there. Alex was great, as was the other staff. I am very satisfied with my experience at Lux Cars Chicago, especially with Alex Petlakh, who was our sales person. He was very friendly and helpful with assisting my wife and I narrow down the perfect vehicle for us. The entire sales process from choosing the vehicle, valuing our trade-in, to getting loan approval and finalizing the paperwork was a very streamlined and quick! We were anticipating hours at the dealership, but once we knew the car we wanted, the rest of the process took around 30-45 mins to get out the door. Very positive experience for us at this dealership and will go back to them first whenever we are in the market again for another vehicle.

If I could submit a zero-star rating, I would. Never in my life have I encountered such an unprofessional and untrustworthy business. I purchased my car last October from Alex and did not receive supporting documents regarding the maintenance and upkeep of the car. Dealerships are legally obligated to do a full inspection prior to selling their cars, yet I did not receive an official mechanic report, just a recent Carfax report. Days after purchasing, I decided to change my tires, and that’s when I discovered that one of the rims did not match in size compared to the others. You don’t need to be a car expert to know that driving with a mismatched rim will create wear and tear of the tires faster, which puts the safety of the driver and all passengers at risk. This was further supported as a serious and possibly lawful issue during my maintenance checks with Lexus dealerships. After showing Alex, Lux Cars mechanics, and the manager, their response was, “Why didn’t you tell me you were going to change the tires?” Very skeptical and fishy on their part. After reviewing all of my signed documents, Alex promised me he would find a matching rim and provide it for me since I purchased the car under the impression that it was fully inspected. It has been over 6 months. I’ve called repeatedly, leaving messages to Alex, the secretaries, and managers. I have been VERY patient, as I am still waiting on a response or call back. At this point, it is clear that this business strictly lives up to their name of just selling luxurious cars for the money without any regard to the safety of their customers.

I inquired about a specific vehicle. Both the General Manager Florin and salesperson Alex interacted with me. I dont live locally. I made an offer on a Saturday and spent a lot of time waiting around on my offer.After the business closed on Saturday I got a text with a counter offer. I asked a question about their fees for preparation and documentation. I was responded to stating that they were now closed and I should expect a call 1st thing in the morning Monday. Monday morning came and went without a call. I followed up just shy of noon, still nothing. At 3:30 I was sent a text that the car had sold. When asked why I didnt get a call in the morning there was no answer provided.The reviews appear to be good, the cars look wonderful. But if you cant get someone to work with you when youre out of town and not standing there looking at them face to face it makes me wonder if everything they represent as a dealer is on the up and up.Good luck to out of town people with this dealer. They are slow to respond and dont follow thru as promised. Id been searching for the right car for a long time, thought I had found it and a dealer that would take care of me. Guess I was wrong.

My wife and I were shopping around, looking for a X3 under 20k. They had an 2016 on the lot for almost that, and when we came in from Iowa, Val was extremely accommodating. The X3 was great, and I was surprised to see just how many cars they have in their inventory. Val was able to get us all taken care of, and I left feeling like I got a decent deal! Once we got it home, found that it had nail in the tire that was not repairable. I gave Val a call, and he took care of me! 10/10 would recommend. I experienced horrible customer service on 3/17/21 from the service manger at Lux Cars Chicago, in Buffalo Grove. The service manager undeniably be-littled me and was absurdly rude in front of another guest. I was embarrassed and left crying. I have NEVER in my life been treated so rudely by a service industry employee.

I had shopped for a Car couple weeks, some sort of light SUV type car like BMW X6, X5, Lexus RX 350, Range Rover, Jaguar PACE etc. By searching in cars.com I had noticed that most of the cars that I was looking were at this location. So, I quickly wanted to give a call just to see if those cars were available to see, they responded quickly and not only quick response, but sells representative Alex (who speaks Russian language) listened/understood what I was looking for and scheduled appointment to see the available cars. I went to see the specific car, but I ended up buying completely different and better car Mercedes-Benz. Alex took very professional approach and showed all the cars that I was interested in and explained pro/cons. And, here I am traded in my existing car and bought new car. Recommend to check out this place, they have really good cars and professional stuff members.

This is the 43rd car I have purchased, lets just say I am a car addict! This is my 3rd car from Lux since 2013. I have dealt with countless dealerships in the Chicagoland area, probably most of the larger independents similar to Lux. I can honestly say that the only truly good experiences I have had is when I deal with this dealership. Val is my go to, he has been there for many many years, 17 I think, which is unheard of. He is decent, honest and a pleasure to deal with. He will go above and beyond to help you. The management are also very reasonable. They sell good cars and have a great selection. I highly recommend.

I as a customer should not need to hunt you down to get answers—-so yes, I believe the other reviews and on top of that they raised the price of the car $4000–really, there’s you sign—walk away!

I would not recommend for purchase of a used car. I had a poor experience and will not be going back. I purchased a used vehicle and when taking it for a test drive i heard a noise coming from the front tires. I notified the salesmen Val and he got in the car with me and proceeded to explain to me its not the car but something with the air hitting the tire when it speeds up. As time passed the sound got louder. Took to mechanic, and sure enough needs new shocks, it was unsafe for you to drive the car in this condition my mechanic stated. So an additional $1300 to get those replaced. Also, did not notify me that their was only one set of keys until the contract was signed. I will not be going back here again.

Great customer service from Daniel. I came in looking for a new Mercedes. Daniel took the time to find the perfect car for me. He was very patient, understanding, and helpful. When we found the car I liked, he offered to do a full inspection at a dealership of my choice. He even offered to drive the car there personally. I am so happy to have found such an amazing salesman. It’s been a month since I got the car and I had a little issue with it. Fortunately, I called Daniel and he told me to come in. When I came, he took the car to service and fixed it with no questions asked. I will definitely be coming back to work with Daniel again.

Purchased a car from here three weeks ago. My sales and finance people were terrific. Right when I left the lot my check engine light came on for an oxygen sensor, not a big deal... My problem with this place is the service department. I have been trying to get my car there since the light came on but I have been waiting for a loaner to be available (basically getting the run around). I figured if i brought my car in and waited on the repair I wouldnt need a loaner so I coordinated that. Two days ago they diagnosed the problem, ordered the part. Brought my car back to be repaired first thing in the morning and they messed up the threads for the sensor, they gave me a loaner because my car is inoperable after they disassembled it. This loaner is the biggest piece of junk on the lot and is nowhere near equivalent to my vehicle. I wish I was able to bring it somewhere more capable of this simple repair but with the warranty paperwork you are forced to bring it to Luxcars...
