Climate controllers really came in clutch when our furnace went out. Highly recommend and will continue to work with them!

Our AC unit went out on Friday and we had to call in on a Saturday. There rates were very competitive to other people I had shopped around for. Our tech Chuck showed up and was very professional. Unfortunately we had to replace the motor and Chuck did but the motor ended up being defective. I had to call back up later that day and explained what happen they had to contact Chuck and he called me to trouble shoot over the phone. We were able to get our home cool down and the next morning he showed up with a replacement part and made sure the problem was resolved. Over all they were very courteous and understanding. Kimberly the rep was very cordial and understood situation. Chuck took the time to make sure the problem was solved and help make sure that we were comfortable during the whole experience. I really felt like they were genuinely concerned and very knowledgeable. I would recommend Climate Controllers to anyone with AC needs. What could have been a horrible experience was made into a wonderful experience because of the courtesy and quickness of the staff at Climate Controllers. I give them two big thumbs up.

I had requested this company to give me a quote on fixing an A/C issue that a tenant of my rental home was having. The tenants problem was that the thermostat showed 83 degrees fahrenheit while the A/C is running and that some of the vents were not blowing air. After the technician had went out there, the company didnt get back to me immediately so I called the next day to ask what was the assessment. They stated that the coils were a bit dirty and that the attic needed insulation and that the ductwork was old. However, I was not told how they would address any of the issues my tenant had reported to me nor did they give me a price on adding insulation or fixing the ductwork. A couple weeks later, I was charged $238 that I was never told would be charged and had not authorized. So essentially I get charged $238 for not giving me a solution to my tenants problem and no plan to even address the issue for my tenant. When I had called them and complained, they tried to tell me due to the temperature being over 95 degrees outside that the home could only cool so much. That just sounds like an excuse and it doesnt seem like these guys know what they are doing. I had contacted them about the $238 charge too and they attempted to refund me but I still dont see the refund reflected in my account online. I would highly advise anyone to stay away as this company is extremely shady and did not make me feel that my concerns for the temperature in my rental home and the condition that my tenant was living in was important to them.UPDATE: I did get a refund from the company for $143 today so I am changing the star rating to 2 stars because mainly I paid $95 for a quote that I never truly received. I was only told that the attic lacked insulation and that the ductwork was old. However, I was not told how much it would cost to add new insulation and to fix the ductwork or whether it would fix the problem my tenant saw where the home was always around 83 degrees on the thermostat during the day and the fact that air didnt come out some of the registers. If I was given an option by the company on how much it would cost to address the issues they mentioned and a guarantee that it would allow the home to cool to the temperature of the cooling point set in the thermostat, then I would have been a happy customer and most likely would have requested them to do the work if the price was reasonable.

Climate Controllers looked after my business in downtown Brunswick for almost 20 years. We used them for both A/C maintenance and new installations. We like their energy efficient choices as well. Their A/C technicians are so knowledgable, I could always trust their opinions and recommendations. Kip took great care of us. We recently moved, and Ill miss having a great A/C company to count on!

Climate Controllers have serviced my A/C system for 5 years. All associates of company have been more than courteous in following up on any problems, including office personnel. Its such a pleasure in dealing with a company, such as Climate Controllers

I have been using Climate Controllers ever since I bought my homes here on Blythe Island. They have done my semi-annual inspections and recently replaced my Central Air/Heat in both my primary residence and my rental house next door.These guys are efficient, professional, a man of there words, and fairly priced. There is no way I would let any other company deal with my Heat/Air systems.

Please avoid this company at all costs or do thorough research before entrusting them to do any work in your home! Believing in the 5 star recommendations, I recently hired them to upgrade my central air conditioning unit to what I thought and was promised would be a better quality, low consumption unit, only to find out later that the unit they installed was nothing but a basic quality unit with only the bare minimum energy efficiency rating allowed by Law. Long story short, I ended up paying $6,200 for a 3.5 ton 14-16 SEER (3.5 tons = pretty average size; 14-16 SEER = basic minimum seasonal energy efficiency ratio that all new units must have in order to be compliant with federal regulations.) I was misled into believing I was purchasing a bigger (4 tons), more energy efficient unit (16-18 SEER) And consequently was overcharged more than USD $2000 based on the manufacturers own reported price range, including installation costs, for comparable units in my area.Needless to say, Im down 6 grand and my electric bill hasnt changed significantly. The unit works perfectly fine because its brand new of course, but in a couple of years i will likely need to replace it again. Total waste of money! I still need to replace 2 additional units in my home but i will never do business with this company again.Like I told you over the phone Mr. Turner, you turned in a nice profit in the short run by deceiving me, but lost me as a client. Not a smart move.

I read many many reviews about HVAC companies from all around to make sure I had an expert reliable service. I found climate controllers and read all the reviews and was impressed. Jordie was extremely helpful and polite on the phone. Dalton came out and checked out my home system and was so polite helpful and knowledgeable. I had to speak with Kip Turner the manager and he was incredibly rude and no help whatsoever! He pretty much told me not my problem. I found someone else through the grapevine who helped me and gave me all the info and help I needed and did it for a quarter of the price they offered. Climate controllers prices are out of hand. Do your research and labor costs and compare before you trust this company.!!!

The service from Climate Contollers was wonderful. The new, wonderfully quiet unit and new thermostat was installed in one day. We feel great about the deal we got that includes the best warranty in the business.
