Great dealership. Excellent service. I dreaded taking my truck in even though I have the premium maintenance plan with ford I was expecting the dealership to say, oh we can’t do this. This isn’t covered. Warranty wouldn’t cover this or that. Elias was my service advisor, super dude. It was a very easy process. Over the 10+ days they had my truck (fixing warranty items and recalls) he consistently called and updated me, the loaner vehicle process was simple and easy. Thanks a million!
We made an appointment for our truck at 9:00 am, we show up and the service department is backed up their 8:30 appointment had yet to be helped. I asked my customer service agent (a women) did not get her name, If we could use the shuttle. The woman helped us and was doing her job, informed Martin the other CS agent that we were waiting for the shuttle. The shuttle shows up and he loads the people he was helping but never told us nothing. Once my CS person shows up I ask her, hey how long the shuttle would take. She asks Martin and very rudely he tells her the shuttle had arrived and was gone. She reminds him she had told him we her customers were waiting and he just blew her off and said we’ll call him. I honestly was really upset at this person, they are a team and should be working together to help their customers!I told my customer service lady I would gladly talk to a manager because this attitude was unacceptable. But not sure if he is the manager but she just apologized! Who ever he is, he needs to be put in his place and told that just became did not her the customer does not him him the right to just blow his coworker and the PAYING customer.
Carlos Garza was awesome! He sold me a really nice car at a fair price. Carlos said he usually works at the used car dealership, but let me tell you all, this fine young man has all the personality and charisma to be the Regional Manager at Tipton Ford or someone way up there in their hierarchy. He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, caring, and showed us all the attributes of a great person and a future leader in the car industry. He gave us all the attention and made us feel important. He really gave us his undivided attention. I have bought many cars in the past, but this fine, young gentleman, really impressed!. Buying a car can be a boring, tedious job, but Carlos was fantastic and rolled out the red carpet for us. He made the experience exciting. Everyone at this dealership was so nice. I got a courtesy congratulatory call the next day from a nice lady at the dealership also. They have great communication skills! The lady with whom i signed paperwork with explained everything and seems to really like her job. Took my F 250 to replace my alternator and that seems to work well however noticed that my wind shield washer motor is not working. Might have been left disconnected while replacing the alternator but I’m not sure. I talked to Elias about it and to bring it in but didn’t say if I would be charged for checking it out. I’m kinda satisfied and not satisfied.
Tony, the service manager, was very helpful and went above and beyond the first time we stopped by. He looked the vehicle over and said he couldnt find anything because the problem was happening intermittently but told us what he thought the problem was and how to self diagnose it. When it happened again, he was right on! We set up the appointment and he worked with Ford to discover a service bulletin on the problem. The parts were ordered and the next time we took it in the problem was fixed in slightly less time than he had promised. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who needs to get their Ford fixed.

Had a great experience at this dealer. I came from Illinois to visit SPI. Had some issues arise on our way down. They were more than helpful and quick to service my truck. Their service team was amazing, friendly and very professional. They also gave me a few pointers and suggestions that I plan on using in the future for my next tire selection. Another cool thing, as soon as we arrived, we all watched the rocket launch from SpaceX on tv which was pretty dang cool. What great timing! Worst place ever.. The way the pandemic is and just as bad as sales are for them right now.. The sales agent could have been a little nicer.. The whole time he acted like we did not deserve his time.. Went over some info with him trying to get a better idea about what I would be looking at in this deal and the agent told me he was there to work on real numbers and not just random figures.. Once again.. Acting like he was just too good for us.. As a potential customer I felt so humiliated. Never going back.. I hope management reads this...

Worst ford. I came here to get tire fixed and told the staff there I had to drive 7 hours back to get home. 4 people told me it was safe to patch it. They patched the tire and sent me on my way. The same day the tire was flat again and had to put spare tire on. Came to the Harlingen Ford location to get it fixed because thats as far as I got driving home. I was forced to stay another day because the Brownsville Ford did not properly fix the tire. Here at the Harlingen Ford they let me look at the tire and they did not even patch the tire. The Brownsville Ford 4 staff members lied to me that it was patched and safe to drive 7 hours. See photos of the work Brownsville does for their customers. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED. DO NOT COME HERE!

I left my company truck for 14 days and the only thing they did to it gave me the diagnostic it took them 14 days diagnostic thats the only 14 days that I had to get the truck work on and the sad thing about it is that they told me that the truck they didnt have anything to be distraught after 55 start shaking all through the dashboard and my wheel was nothing wrong with it thats very best place to go for service I thought that mechanics were certified but it looks like there are not

Customer service was terrible. They were not forthcoming with information. No one knew when the GM would be in...GM suddenly showed up. One young man finally helped us out and was very nice to us. One worker out of 5 that we dealt with....I do not think that is acceptable. At one point one of the employees asked us if we had the keys to our vehicle to which I sarcastically responded no we hot wired it. So frustrating.

Great sales experience except for the finance department. The sales team are easy to work with and they will do whatever they can to get you a good deal. The finance department on the other hand, was not so great. Finance lady is very pushy and if you dont purchase what she is trying to sell you, she will become irritated and unprofessional.

We purchased our first mustang gt through this group. Service was good. Sadly, we have been waiting 4 months for a new hood due to a manufacturer defect. Makes it real hard to consider the brand again in the future.

Mr Tiptons is a wonderful and honest and very reputable individual he correct the situation I had with a service writer that is why we will only take our F250 Super Duty Powerstroke Diesel to their shop for maintenance and or repairs thank you mr. Tipton for being that way also there Quick Lube is a very good way to have your Ford product

Our van showed a warning wrench light. We’ve been on a cross country road trip from Virginia and needed to get it looked at. It’s a conversion van that we live in so we can’t just leave it for days. We had called two other dealers in the area because google said they were closer. But their customer service and demeanor on the phone was poor at best and they only wanted to offer me to leave the car with them for 3 days to get it diagnosed let alone fixed.I called Tipton Ford and I told the woman that answered the phone our situation and she put Tony on the line. Tony said, we’ll take care of you. Just come in down and we’ll diagnose the issue and then you can bring it back the next day when we’ve organized all the parts needed for whatever the issue was and have us fix it.I drive over there, it was only a 15 minute difference in drive time. As soon as I get there everyone was sooooo nice. The receptionist remembered my call, took down notes, introduced me to Tony and all just got taken care of. Just that experience alone was a great customer experience. I used to own a tech company and providing a great customer experience was our differentiator before I sold it. These guys have it down. But wait, that’s not all.As I’m getting a couple of things out of the van, including out 50 pound, 5 month old, St. Bernard, over walks SergioFreeman, business manger for their Hyundai devision. We have a cool, fully loaded, off road adventure van. He chatted with me about it and I told him we were of to Big Bend after we left. He then began helping me fill up my note pad with all the cool places to check out there and along the way. Then after he left, he came back with a coupleIf maps he printed out with more notes for me. AMAZING!!!!!Anyway, they looked at the fault codes and determined it wasn’t any big deal and that there really wasn’t anything to fix. Even chatting with the mechanics was an amazing experience. I truly have not had this great of an experience at any other dealership before.In the end, they just gave me the keys and said I was good to go and didn’t even charge me.All I can say is, if you are buying a car or need service, you have to work with these guys. I don’t write a lot of reviews but when I have an experience as good as this, I have to. These guys went so above and beyond expectations even knowing I wasn’t there to buy a car. I can only imagine how great the experience would be if I was to work with them regularly.Don

We found the staff very efficient and friendly. Answered our many requests and questions during our stay and previous phone and text messaging. The sales person David Sandoval we dealt with found the SUV we were looking for. One service that can be improved upon is the service when we phone the dealership. (sometimes rings forever without pick-up).
Management at this place is awful to female employees. Over the weekend my husband and I went in looking for information on a vehicle when I hear, what I can only assume is a manager, yelling at a young lady in a back office. I’m not sure the situation but at any place of business you DO NOT yell at an employee in front of customers. If I could hear while I was sitting in the front, I’m sure everyone around me heard too. After this man, tall and bald, finished his rant and walked back into an office in the front, I saw the young lady come out and take the next customer in. She did this with a huge smile on her face. How she managed that I have no idea! I could not see her office from where I was sitting as she walked back into a hallway. I wanted to just go and hug her. I hope this reaches someone and action is taken. That man sounded awful and no female or an employee should be subject to that kind of embarrassment in front of customers. I made my husband leave as I did not want to make a purchase here. We took our business elsewhere and are now customers of Boggus.
Been waiting 2 months to get my car fixed and finally they part came in but they wont fix it till next week. They told me its not a priority since the car can still drive. Ive been driving with a suspension fault for 2 months and they wont take it in right away after waiting for months. Update got my car detailed and noticed there are about 3 large scratches where they worked on my car, rather drive to another dealership to get my car serviced. The sales department is excellent but service needs work. Im not going to have my car serviced here no more due to long wait time and damage to my vehicle.

Sold me a lemon, it was very bad. I made the mistake of buying the car before ever seeing it. At first I went in to buy a different jeep and I test drove it and it looked and sounded fine; the only problem was that it was 20k more miles than advertised, also was a different color (was advertised as white with 50k miles and they showed me a silver one with 70k) I told Luis but he brushed it off. When i drove the car back I got some anxiety with the traffic as I had not driven very much in the past few years since I just got home from being stationed in Japan. I ended up getting rear ended by a truck (no structural damage just busted bumper and one tail light) and it was my fault but I was prepared to buy the car. Luis went in for the paperwork and came out saying it was already sold and the buyer still wanted it. I ended up buying a jeep with over 90k miles that I only saw in pics because I felt guilty for what happened but it is on them that they showed me a car that was sold. There were lights on in the dash and the ac did not work. The condenser had a hole in it and I had bought a warranty and paid the $100 deductible and they did not even replace it, they patched it up and pocketed like $500 that the warranty paid for. Like 2 years later I took it to Firestone because the ac stopped working again and thats when i found out they just patched it with a white paint substance and did a very bad job at it too, so had to pay $700 to get the condenser replaced. In the 2 yrs the warranty was good for I took it in for many things, many within months of buying it, several o2 sensors, same ones over and over and ended up having to change the catalytic converter which cost me over $1000. Leaky oil gasket; just got patched up too. All struts replaced, new alternator. So many things. Almost every major part is new now. I put into it almost what I paid for it. I would have been better off buying a new car. So dont buy a used car from here. Also dont get your car maintenance done here as they just patch stuff up and you pay almost as much as getting something replaced. They also dont return things the way they should. For years my park break light did not come on because they taped it down and forgot to reconnect it. They told me I needed a new sensor and quoted like $75; I figured I could live without it but thought it was so weird that it worked before I took my car to them for maintenance. At Firestone they found out and reconnected it several years later when they opened up that area for something else. They are liars and crooks.

The work was done correctly but we noticed that the passenger interior panel was stained. I think they don’t inspect vehicle before giving back to customer.

Poor salesmanship in the used department. Called inquired about to used vehicles. They said they could match my payment never received a call back confirmation. Just an email stating Low payments. The second vehicle I was hesitant to drive 45-60 minutes to see it, deal seemed to good to be true. I told the sales rep if he would reimburse the gas I wasnt. He said sure, but could tell he was just saying it to say it. Anyways got there I didnt like the vehicle. He wanted to sale me something else that was not in my price range. Time came to leave and I asked him if he was going to pay for my gas. He said I didnt even look at the vehicle, which I did and was nothing to immaculate as he described. He stood there thinking, told him forget dont worry about it. Apparently he word isnt hes bound.
This time around I am NOT happy! After the third adjustment AND purchasing a new set of tie rods my truck STILL pulls to the right! I am a loyal customer of yours [please check the records] and feel as if I have been mistreated

This place sucks and if your car is messed up don’t take it here. I took my car and they sat it outside for months, they didn’t fix it and charged me 1,500$ for this car to run misfiring. They were not able to diagnose my car and just scammed me. My uncle with a 2018 F150 is having problems because the truck is defective and they always give him the run around. Don’t go here, so that you avoid hassles, headaches and pay to have your car running the same way. The mechanics are completely uncoordinated and don’t even know what’s going on half the time.
Love my Santa Fe. Love Tipton service. Always friendly and efficient. Youre not just a service number. They always go above and beyond to meet the demands of the day. Mr. Wells is an absolutely fabulous Service Coordinator who places his customers paramount in order to meet their service needs without fail. Took my Hyundai Sonata (2014) to Rick at the Brownsville, Texas location for Oil and Filter Change, with Rotation of tires. They did this in a timely manner, washed my car and the Service Attitude was Excellent! They noticed a problem with my right rear view mirror being loose, and they will be replacing this next week, under warranty with no charge. They take excellent care of their customers when ensuring that your car performs at its best! Very happy with their kindness and service and think you will be too!
I just had my car inspected a month ago and they told me that my car was in good condition and didnt need any service at the time but when I went to Tipton they tried to hustle me.I guess because I am a woman they thought I probably didnt know anything about cars.

Manager was very helpful. Because of shortage of mechanics, there is extended wait time. He took car to Quick Lane and got oil change done in about an hour. He then told me about recall items and made an appointment to get them done.
I left an initial complaint about not being able to reach the finance department in order to facilitate the mailing of a refund check. This issue has since been promptly resolved by the customer relations manager who was both genuinely concerned and helpful. If there is ever an issue in communication, please refer to customer relations in order to streamline customer service related problems. I appreciate the renewed relationship I have established with Tipton Auto Group.

He told me the amount of time it would take and if I wanted to wait in the lobby. I told him I was being picked up.
